It's a known issue that VirtualBox is conflicting with Windows 10 update and it happens to all emulators out there! VirtualBox is the program you need to run the virtual Android emulator, which is ldplayer in your case, not any mining stuff.
LDPlayer64 or use the latest Bluestacks and create a 64 bits instance.
You have to disable any Root option or you'll get an error in the browser and a message that you've done something forbidden (very... intriguing XD). LDP Player, for example, has it enabled by default.
Though this is what has worked in beta, and the game was prone to crashing. Hopefully the final release will be more stable.

Download MuMu Player, login with your google account and download FFRK from the google play store, and run it like you normally would and config the game to your settings you would on your phone.

The program itself is pretty easy, once you have it up and running, just open the config and change the settings and use whatever profiles you want, I myself use a custom variant of the "quick" run, and I turned on auto repeat runs when completed, that way I can walk away from my computer and leave it on while I sleep.
I would highly reccomend using a holy magic team and setting octo on a blocklist so the game skips it.

It’s a problem since window 10. A lot of softwares is built on the base of virtualbox, some often really old. Older versions of virtualbox stopped receiving supports and no longer works with newer versions on windows, leading to the compatibility error. You have to either delete the exe or update it. It’s a known problem with emulators so that’s why I suggested looking into that. Bluestacks isn't a good emulator. You should use LdPlayer, it's way faster than Bluestacks. My Exos Heroes has never crashed using Ldplayer than it did on Bluestacks. https://www.ldplayer.net/

You have to bind your account on the phone first and then you install it on the emulator, do a bit of the tutorial until they let you press on your power number and then you bind your account again and it will tell you it has found a save game with progress and you can load that and play on both your phone and PC.

Do note though that if you're a f2p or low spender it's best to use units you have that have the highest dupe count. The extra levels and stat gains can really help. Once you reach the harder stages an MR with no dupes will be absolutely destroyed if you're not careful. Also, make sure your team has varied elements to cover more weakness. Good luck!

Mouse and keyboard is strictly inferior imo because you're just trying to simulate a touchscreen with that setup and not actually playing it like pc anyway.

Hey! Just wanted to tell you what worked for me:
Install an earlier version of LDplayer. You can do this by clicking on updates and scrolling all the way down and then downloading 4.0.36 (the version that worked for me. then again, I never tried using versions 4.0.37-39, so if u want a newer version play around with those).
Note: the game WILL crash after you put in your transfer ID, but fret not! just click on the app again, and it will continue business as usual, downloading your save game data after you press continue.
Now why cant you do this with any newer versions? The answer ( that i found through trial and error) is that you can! It just takes 3(minimum) tries for your data to actually be transferred (like for you to actually access the game with ur characters and stuff), and you are guaranteed to crash after you play *any* ads (for chrono stones). That being said, u don't crash while eating form time stop tree or talk with the blacksmith. weird.

You could try installing LDPlayer to your computer and installing Food Fantasy on that. It's a phone app emulator so you can play mobile games on your computer. If you've already linked your Food Fantasy account then you should have no problem recovering it on there. Hope this helps.
