Other teased additions include custom weapon crafting, fishing, expanded social hubs, flying vehicle integration in the open worlds, as well as a cinematic quest, if you do not have the time to watch the VOD in it's entirety. The size of the update is completely unprecedented, and it came completely out of the blue. This seems to put Warframe in more direct competition with games like Destiny, and I like how it's shaping up.
The official recap is available here, and an interview with PCGamer which provides a bit more detail here.

To use the term ‘experimenting’ would be accurate. It’s been just over a year since we launched any form of Twitch Drop for Warframe, and we’re still learning as we go, especially with campaigns as large as Plains of Eidolon or Fortuna. (Come February of 2019, we’ll have actually have been streaming on Twitch for 6 years!)
One thing we must correct right away is your statement that ‘only Partners were eligible’, when in fact EVERYONE was eligible to trigger Twitch Drops. This campaign was not Warframe Partner targeted - thus any Warframe streamer could participate. The only requirement was ‘If you’re a broadcaster, the Warframe account you are playing on needs to be linked to the Twitch account you are streaming from. Your audience will not receive any Twitch Drops until you do so.’ meaning truly any Warframe streamer could participate.
Speaking towards the advertisement of the Fortuna Twitch Drops campaign, one can’t disagree that the promotional material heavily centered around the more ‘rare’ of the Drop rewards. Promotional material falls under the ‘learning as we go’ category. With the Plains of Eidolon Twitch Drop campaign last year, you’ll see that we promoted the Drop items with just a still image. Our efforts this year attempted to show the Drops in a more attractive light, but there is definitely room for accuracy and improvement moving forward.
It’s a bit early to downgrade the less-than-24-hours old Drops Monster mechanic, but nonetheless feedback is important. Testing the Drops Monster was the first step, and we’re excited to see where we can take it. Striving to ensure a less ‘exploitative’ Drop is always on the mind when collectively brainstorming these campaigns, and it’s something we’ll continue to do as we develop new Drop mechanics to share the love of free items for a free-to-play game like Warframe.

Not sure if it's just me, but it seems like a lot less effort went into this Prime Access page compared to others.
Mesa's had pictures of the weapons, as well as the accessories. And yet this one we only get a banner picture and no clear pictures of the accessories.
Not particularly complaining, but it does seem weird.
For anyone who is as confused as I was: 1. go to https://twitch.amazon.com/prime and create a Twitch prime account with 7 day free trial 2. Go to https://www.warframe.com/twitch/link and link your twitch prime account after the 29th of June and bingo you have a free fully built Frost prime, Vistapa Syandana and Dragon mod pack, simple. (Yes I'm riding the top comment I'm just trying to get the message out there)
"Disgusting" would be another word to describe it. These loot boxes are no better than the "Wilson loot box" found in EA's digital casinos, and have no place in Warframe. Not even the "it's just coooosmetiiiiic" defense, which in itself is bollocks, can defend mod packs.
These loot boxes offer insignificant rewards, that nonetheless directly affect gameplay, for significant player effort - but they can also be bought for real, actual currency, or in the market for virtual premium currency. There is very little difference between mod packs and the loot boxes in various gambling simulators published by the likes of EA and 2k.
Oh, and if you've read the comment in a British accent, you're getting it.
NEW PLAYER TIPS and INFO
Spend Starting Plat on Weapon/Warframe Inventory Slots ( Seriously, slots are the most important thing early on)
Redeem promo code FREESWORD for a free heatsword with its own weapon slot. (https://www.warframe.com/promocode) Just make sure to login before claiming.
Focus on clearing the star chart and junctions.
Plains are a newb trap, except for doing one low level bounty to unlock a quest (Saya's Vigil), complete it, then don't focus on the plains until after you progress in the star chart.
Level everything you get to 30 once for the mastery XP, then sell if you dont like it. Mastery Rank is required for good weapons later on.
Level and sell your MK-1 Weapons ASAP, They are the starter weapons, level them to 30 for the Mastery XP and get rid of them.
Always buy Weapon/Warframe BLUEPRINTS from the market for CREDITS, never buy the actual Weapons/Warframes for PLAT.
You can farm many Warframes by running the Boss assassination missions on each planet. Each Boss drops the 3 pieces you need for a specific Warframe (neuroptics, chassis, systems). This can take quite a few runs to get all the parts. Then Purchase the Frame Blueprint from the market with Credits.
You can get Platinum(Premium Currency) without spending money!!! You get it from trading with other players in trade chat. You can trade MODS, Prime Parts, ETC with players for plat. Warframe.market is a website you can use for trading as well.
Mods > Item level, MODS make the weapon, not the level. Level just lets you add more MODS.

Someone not experienced with the game might be asking how good of a deal this is.
Trinity Prime is a vaulted Warframe variant, meaning that she can currently only be obtained from the player market. She is not too expensive, sitting at around eighty-ish Platinum before this offer ($1-$5 in real money, depending on discounts and selected bundles), but it is an exceptionally useful Warframe and a staple of many endgame squads.
The Spektaka Prime Syandana offered with this pack is a never-before-seen cosmetic item, and, in my opinion, looks quite good on a variety of Warframes. Of course, this makes it a must have for Warframe's true endgame of killer machine decoration. Combine with Vauban Prime for best effect!
If you are interested in this deal, be sure to also check out the current Humble Bundle offering some in-game currency, grinding assistance, and a (non-exclusive) Syandana. There is also the promo code OLDFRIEND which you can redeem a free player housing decoration and yet more grinding aid.
Wonder what's up with all these Warframe promos? A big story quest, the Sacrifice, is slated to drop on PC this month. The playerbase is hyped, and it would seem that the devs want to share the joy.
the long animations and channeling cast vulnerability are always a concern. it hasn't been as bad as the limbo release in a long time, but the devs keep dancing on the line of what is practical for gameplay and what is not.
barrier is a concern, too. maybe it's a bug that you can't shoot out from the inside? otherwise what's the point of creating a defensive barrier if you can't actually attack enemies while it's active? jump up to shoot isn't the worst thing, but then you're negating the protection it's supposed to give anyways.
also it's weird to see her #2 can no longer target herself given:
>"Second Ability: shatter your glass accents to deal damage to a direct enemy, or in an AOE around you or an ally."
but then again everything is subject to change between dev builds and retail builds

FWIW, they have seemed to accomplish most of what they set up in the "aspirations for part 2" bit.
The code of conduct was posted here along with some other changes. I don't think there's been any cases of moderation abuse since then, so it looks like they're being held to these standards. ^(For now, at least.)
I'm willing to give DE the benefit of the doubt for the next few weeks since I figure having their systems and policies reviewed and improved by third parties probably takes a bit of time, but their lack of communication on the process right now is disconcerting. Which really has been the common thing tying all of this controversy together, that DE remains uncharacteristically silent on the matter.
There's also a bunch of codes you can use to unlock free stuff in game. Most of them are just for glyphs and cosmetic stuff like that, but one of them in particular---FREESWORD---gives you a free heat sword and, more importantly, a free weapon slot.
Also, make sure to link your Warframe account to your twitch prime if you've got it, since Warframe partners up with twitch fairly regularly. They're doing a couple of different promotions right now, including one that gives away a solid healer/support Prime frame and a Warframe slot to go with it.
Edit: For anyone that’s played on PC, here is some info about the PC account clone process. The most important item to note is that platinum purchased on PC will not clone over to your switch account, so if you’ve got purchased platinum in your account, you should buy weapon/Warframe slots, a new frame, or anything else that would carry over to switch in order to maximize the value of that platinum, especially if you plan to make Switch your primary platform.
Teaser site is up, there's also a promo code that gives you a 3-day XP booster and a ship decoration.

There are three more things to get from https://www.warframe.com/twitchprime such as, "Gear bundle I", "Prime weapons bundle" and "Gear bundle II". Do you get them later after you've activated your trial period or is it better to start the trial period when they're all revealed?
DE began to play with the idea last year then completely dropped it and made it april's fools instead. Needless to say, the guys in charge find the idea silly enough to be worth making a good joke about it, so the odds of voice packs happening are close to 0.
~~I'm personally partially convinced at this point that this is just all a dead end to keep people entertained while we wait for something else.~~
Either that or we're extremely overthinking this. If I had one platinum for every time I've heard the word "cipher" today...

There's a series of event missions available for the next week or so that will reward you with a series of really solid weapons. For more information, either check out the post on their website, or check out the fan wiki.
Actually, it's probably best to check out the wiki anyway. Warframe is a great game, but it definitely lacks in-game explanations for many systems. Either check there, or ask for help around here.
Happy hunting, Tenno!
For reference:
Tennocon, Digital Extreme's own fan convention for Warframe, is slated to happen next month, and their current goal is to have this new update arrive before then.
Several factors are leading this to be one of the more explosive updates in both lore and content, likely laying down new ground in the game's universe as it goes, due to unresolved and unanswered questions and conundrums. Thing such as the nature of the voice-in-your-ear that is the character Lotus. Her relationship with Ballas, a character only referenced before in long-forgotten Orokin history and codex entries only until recently, and more answers to the nature of the Tenno and the Warframes, of which has remained quite vague even if some concrete truths have been revealed.
As for mechanics, we have nothing on that. Brand-new ground is being broken with this update, which is surprisingly similar to the lead-up to Warframe's well-recieved update, The Second Dream, and with similar results (hugely expanded lore, new mechanic that got expanded well down the line, though controversial).
Aya just got added to the https://www.warframe.com/droptables as the initial announcement was kind of misleading that many of us expected Aya "Instead" of Relics.
Aya is added as "Plus One" to the Relic Tables so that it becomes like this for all affected missions;
Void/Hepit (Capture)
Aya Rare (6.67%)
Lith G4 Relic Rare (6.67%)
Lith G4 Relic Rare (6.67%)
Lith T7 Relic Rare (6.67%)
Lith T7 Relic Rare (6.67%)
Lith K7 Relic Rare (6.67%)
Lith K7 Relic Rare (6.67%)
Lith N7 Relic Rare (6.67%)
Lith N7 Relic Rare (6.67%)
Lith A4 Relic Rare (6.67%)
Lith A4 Relic Rare (6.67%)
Lith I1 Relic Rare (6.67%)
Lith I1 Relic Rare (6.67%)
Lith N8 Relic Rare (6.67%)
Lith N8 Relic Rare (6.67%)
So it's still a RARE Drop (6% for valuable stuff instead of common Lith stuff) instead of common one so wishing you happy hunting for many many captures that turn out to be exterminates on Void (urgh). Since you have 7x24x60 = 10,080 minutes until the Rotation so that these Aya exchanges would be replaced with other Vaulted Relics, PLAN your gameplay time along with Real Life to sustain in this 2 Months running <Marathon> for Vaulted Relics while you have the chance.
Since Void Captures are the fastest way (3-4 mins) and assuming average playtime to be 3 hours per day for a Warframe player, you get EASILY (and hopefully, may RNG with you) get all the Prime parts you needed so that you won't need to pay neither to DE nor to the WF.Market farmers which would SKY-rocket their prices after event is over.
>EDIT 3: Added a little bonus for people who actually read this<strong>.</strong>
Wow, hidden in the fucking period, on a post next to no one reads, without telling anyone there's a thing to be found. Way to go mods, really know how to hold an easter egg hunt without telling anyone about it.
Could have been as simple as oh BTW there's a secret in the rules update. Or mention it in the last [META] post, but nope, radio silence.
I belives its on purpose since this isn't supposed to be the official prex card of Xaku, its just a prex card of Xaku. Iirc this prex card is community made, which is why the artstyle doesnt match up with the other prex cards.

Could you show me anywhere on this page, or in official change logs, where it was said this would be operator heavy and to be prepared? Also, I don't believe there are any restrictions to starting this quest along the lines of "had to have built an amp better than mote". So there will be players of this quest who don't actually have an amp. I do think this is a point for improvement.
Also, do you recall the very first quest, Vor's Prize. One section of it involved acquiring a blueprint, and then the next section is getting the resources to build it. This quest was not present at the beginning of warframe, veterans played it when it came out, veterans with resources already. If one of those veterans built the blueprint before the quest script thought it was possible the mission became uncompleteable. They forgot that people with more than 5 minutes gametime might be playing this quest. A lack of thinking things through.

From official site:
>CALIBAN: THE SENTIENT WARFRAME Erra’s twisted masterpiece, a true hybrid of Warframe and Sentient. Raised from the wreckage of the Old War to carve a swathe through the New.
The URL really should be warframe.com/codex, which is currently unused. DE should use this opportunity to build a reference of general info about the game into a centralized location. Enemies, stats, drop rates, everything. They could also use it to host tutorials for new players. It could be incredibly convenient.
Some more stuff still missing:
I think there's more I'm forgetting but I don't have Void_Glitch's repo with me atm to check. Basically, anything that Void_Glitch provided in his repo should be available in DE's drop table site, maybe short of Languages.txt. If DE's site misses even one of those things then it is inferior and not an acceptable replacement.
I realize that's gotta be frustrating and you're probably just here to vent, but I'm always going to push for filing reports.
AFKing is a reportable offense. A lot of people aren't really aware of how to file reports, so I'll take the time to mention how.
I'm not sure what information support has access to, but I imagine listing the mission type/node and approximately when the mission happened would help them pinpoint the right mission info.
Videos usually aren't necessary. In my experience, providing the names of my squadmates and sometimes screenshots is often enough.
Support has a lot of tickets to get through, so being concise will also make things easier on everyone.
I acknowledge that reporting alone isn't going to get rid of this behaviour. But it's what we can do-- file the reports so that DE has cause to actually act on it, and in turn, actually discourage the behaviour. You want DE to know it's happening, let them know the specifics. It is far better than waiting on them to make sweeping changes to the automatic AFK detection.

Thanks for the heads up, Gwenwed!
I should also note that The New War will require you to have a railjack and a Nechramech (and I do believe an amp for spoiler mode).
DE has also made acquiring all of the above much easier in a recent patch as well. The patch notes on that and the event can be found here.
This one was kinda answered by Cephalon Cordylon:
"Tenno, if left unattended, might spend the majority of their earned resources constructing new weaponry instead of managing "less essential" tasks, such as LIFE SUPPORT. While I cannot speak for Cephalon Ordis, it is conceivable that Ordis allocates acquired credits to managing other trivial areas unrelated to slaughter, such as Liset fuel cells, breathable atmosphere, etc.
I can assure you with absolute certainty that Ordis doesn't not contribute a portion of those funds into a probability pool weighed against your odds of survival."
The Oberon Pack? You mean the Prime Access?
There is always a Prime Access available. Hydroid Prime is coming soon, that's a big part of the reason DE is working on improving Hydroid right now. When Hydroid Prime Access becomes available, Oberon Prime Access will stop being sold, but all the items in the Oberon Prime Access will still be available to get in-game.
Plains of Eidolon will be absolutely free. As long as you can do missions on Earth, you will be able to access it. You'll have to finish the War Within quest in order to fight the big bosses at night, but you'll have free access to the Plains during the in-game day. It's highly unlikely there will e any changes to Rivens with Plains. Are you sure they weren't talking about set mods? There's hints of a new type of mod that may or may not be coming with Plains, but we know nothing, and only have a screenshot from a stream of one of the developers playing an early version of Plains.
If you want to keep playing, do so. You may get a coupon anyways.
Ok, my curiosity is piqued, so let's do some math! It's been a while since I've played these, so my estimates are gonna be very rough here, please feel free to suggest alternate times. For the most part I'm glancing at the number of missions in the wiki and guessing each one is about 5 minutes.
So if we then use the list from https://www.warframe.com/game/questguide :
Vor's Prize- 30 minutes Once Awake- 15 minutes The Archwing- 30 minutes Stolen Dreams- 25 minutes The New Strange- 25 minutes Natah- 30 minutes The Second Dream- 45 minutes The War Within- 60 minutes Chains of Harrow- 30 minutes Apostasy Prologue- 15 minutes The Sacrifice- 25 minutes Chimera Prologue- 10 minutes Rising Tide- 55 minutes
...we get 6 hours and 10 minutes of cinematic quest! Which is honestly less than I thought it'd be, but my estimates above are all probably a bit tight: using Reb's playthru on Friday as the basis for Rising Tide, but if I used the 5 minute pattern I applied to almost everything else it would have been much lower.
Honestly, what should've been done in the first place was instead of giving closed beta participants a weapon (Lato Vandal because Braton Vandal isn't from closed beta) with locked away mastery points, make it a Lato skin or whatever cosmetic. Alternatively even remove mastery points completely from it, then people wouldn't care so much, both sides happy.
In the end, the main cause are those exclusive mastery points.
i must say your pricing is off here DE. the prime accessories part doesn't even make sense.
>Purchasing a Prime Accessory Set = 3 Regal Aya or 19.99 USD. The same as an individual Accessories Pack.
you say this but there is no option to buy accessory pack bundles in the prime resurgence store page
So you want players to pay 20 USD for a single armor set with this new system whereas previously you could get much more than this? for example in case of current nyx accessories pack an armor set+a sugatra+200p.
and not to mention you replaced platinum with endo which others have already pointed out which makes this even less value.
and prime noggle is one regal aya? seriously? that makes the "extra bonus regal aya" not really extra. why not just give it to players who buy the packs.
According to Devstream 101, Three frames will be unvaulted. We know it'll have Frost & Ember Prime. As for the third frame, it's probably gonna be Loki, but there's a small chance it could be Nyx.
No problem, I'm on mobile but I can give you a link to the devstream overview: https://www.warframe.com/news/devstream-119-overview
If you scroll down in that page they talk about him. It seems like his backstory is an old warrior that has turned away from violence when possible but can still dish it out when needed. He has heavy damage mitigation abilities so will likely play as more of a tank. If you scrub through the video you can probably find where they talk about him more. They showed him off in the Plains of Eidolon area so I assume his acquisition will either be there or Fortuna, not sure though.
If the goal is actually 300k, there is a variable which value changes if you refresh the page, you can ctrl+f it getContributions

Funny you mention Vay Hek. Too bad it's April Fools.
One of the dumb small wishes I want for this game is a DE_Rebecca voicepack that replaces Lotus.
"Hey Reb, we're gonna need you to rerecord all of your Lotus barks."
"Oh, okay."
"As yourself."
"...huh?"
When I first started, Lotus actually sounded like a human woman (I remember one voiceline was "now get the hell out of there" or so) and I'm still kinda disappointed that she's so...not so much monotone but reserved, I guess? I get that it's for thematic reasons, though.
Recovery will be instant if you have the upgraded incubator. You'll probably still have to go to the incubator then back to the arsenal though.

> It's clearly for adults and adults should be able to interact as they please.
They've always been sensitive, but until now, it's been only really enforced in the forums. It's been in their Terms of Use from the very beginning. https://www.warframe.com/terms

> User Content that is unlawful, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, suggestive, harassing, threatening, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory, fraudulent or otherwise objectionable
The really juicy part is when the devs themselves say naughty words or do naughty things during their livestreams.
That's not a fan theory though, that is how it is according to DE themselves:
https://www.warframe.com/news/primes-and-prime-access
>Prime Warframes, Weapons and Sentinels are actual pieces of Ancient Orokin technology. These elite intricately gilded items have highly advantageous qualities and feature added polarity slots – allowing you to equip more powerful Mods and saving space in your MOD Capacity.
>Non-Prime Warframes, Weapons and Sentinels are based on Orokin technology, however they are not genuine Orokin articles.
I'm waiting for the day when DE will do their job instead of caring more about keeping friends around. Especially with those two partners and all of the other partners who haven't done streams or videos of the game in months. Yet they still host people on Twitch that only plays the game one time just to be hosted then ignores it again afterwards.
The thing I don't understand: "YOUR CHANNEL(S) CANNOT: Contain illegal, racist, sexist, hateful, pornographic or other offensive material." https://www.warframe.com/community/partnercriteria
That's on the requirements to become a partner. Why are they not held to the same standard after becoming one. This should be enough to remove those channels from the partner program but again they're friends, they have to protect their friends. Same thing with chat mods, forum mods and the guides (when that program existed). I know this part might not seem relevant to a partner discussion but it's the same concept about not removing people and constantly defending them.
I wish I worked for DE and I could be in charge of the partner program. People would be dropped, requirements would be increased and inactivity guidelines would be put in to place. Mainly for day one access. Why should they get all new items when they log in every 3-6 months? No reason to be rewarded for not playing or making content like they were to become a partner.
Context: I got this from the old Sanctuary update page (https://www.warframe.com/sanctuary/), which is oddly enough still running. I alwyas had a vague memory of Chroma's pelt being tied to "an ancient enemy" or something like that, but in the years since the update all mentions of such a thing have been removed or made inaccessable.
Also another thing mentioned on that page and nowhere else: Kohmak (and, I assume, Kohm) is a plasma pistol, ergo an energy weapon. Again, this is a minor detail but actual textual reference to it is hard to come by (yes I know the Wiki calls the Kohm a plasma-assisted weapon, but that's a fan-written description and until now I couldn't find where I had read that in original DE text).
Back to Chroma - this description dates back to the first days of Sanctuary, when we still suspected the Sentients were an alien species, thus making the connection with "a forgotten race" more plausible. I suppose it would be an interesting discussion, whether or not the pelt belonged to a Sentient of some kind or if the Origin System had actual ~~Ahamkara~~ dragons at some point in the past.

Watched almost the entire stream today! Was awesome watching Shul always a step ahead of Ruu, with Ruu saying "Okay, next we should try out some fishing," and Shul's already scoping out a place and wormholing onto it. Ruu keeps finding bugs and breaking the game, which is great since DE is staying on top of every bug they find.
For tomorrow, I'd really like to see some Nighttime play, but I think DE is restricting you guys on that. :( I guess I could settle for some Bounty Board Assassinate missions, since according to the official Plains Update hypesite:
>#MOD SETS
>>Give your Warframe and Weapons a boost with new Mod Sets. A Set Bonus is applied if equipped with Mods from the same set. These Mods are available as potential rewards from completing Bounties from Konzu in Cetus and may also be acquired as drops from Assassination bosses.
Keep up the awesome work guys! Keep on trying, testing and breaking as much as you can! Maybe try out the Combat Operators on some normal missions. :p
Oh, and happy birthday Ruu! :D
It's specifically against the guidelines:
>Copying another Warframe character’s aesthetic is not the goal here: please no Stalker/Red Veil/Acolyte Skins or Alt Helmets.
From the official summary:
>This group of scavengers’ culture revolves around the grotesque harvesting of biomechanical tissue from long-dormant Orokin Towers.
>The Revenant Warframe will only be shipping with his shotgun. His melee weapon will follow soon after - it's caught up with the Melee 3.0!

i'm going to spitball those are cephalons... or rather, what's inside them. ordis' fragments and the sacrifice spoilers below; they're pretty light but still...
the orokin can literally pull entire consciousnesses (what a word), or specific memories out of someone and place it into something else.
> One thing about the rewards not being partners only: You could have made that much clearer. I had no idea until the last day, and I follow Warframe news pretty intensely.
First sentence in the warframe.com news (https://www.warframe.com/news/limited-time-twitch-drops-1) is "From Fortuna's launch until Nov. 15, watch any Warframe stream on Twitch " which seems like a pretty clear statement about it being "any stream" tbh
People got overly excited when they posted that "RPG feeling" bit - They never said the intention was to actually add it or that the gameplay would be like that. They were just describing the influences of the personality quiz you took at the end of The Second Dream.
The examples in the thread you linked are unfortunate, but there never was meant to be a real class system - it's just extra stuff to use.
>Return to the Plains of Eidolon starting September 8 for Operation: Plague Star and earn Relics containing Nidus Prime Blueprints! Not to mention you can earn the new Ghoul Saw heavy Melee Weapon! [...] You'll be able to find parts for the Undying Prime Warframe and his Weapons through the usual sources for Void Relics, such as Relic Packs and Void Missions during and after the event has ended.
source -- Could be wrong, but it really sounds like you earn relics containing Nidus Prime Blueprints the same way you earn the Ghoul Saw: Plague Star
Actually, i was discussing about that in another thread.
It will probably work like the The Sacrifice Twitch Drops before it.
https://www.warframe.com/news/the-sacrifice-twitch-drops-return-for-a-limited-time
At the time, people watching any streamer playing Warframe on twitch for 1 hour (with a linked Warframe account) would be eligible and receive those items in-game.
So that's the most likely approach they will take this time too.
Digital Extremes had their "tennocon" conference, where they showcased some of the future content of the game. AND IT LOOKS AWESOME! There's a new open world on venus, a new space ship which you can pilot, and more. I suggest you check out the recording.
https://www.warframe.com/news/explore-venus-and-the-stars-beyond
It actually seems one of the reasons why the tweet was removed is that the Glast Gambit is not required.
https://www.warframe.com/game/questguide
As of this time the Glast Gambit is not on the guide, while it was when the tweet was made.
Expect some explanation or clarification later, I guess.
To be completely honest, Warframe isn't the most "new player" friendly in terms of mechanics and explanations, but it has one of the best communities out there.
<strong>This post</strong> is a good start in finding introductions to the game, there's also the <strong>official quick-start</strong> guide for new players.
As for video's, I don't really watch or follow anyone so I cant say, what I will say is take things slowly and when there's something you don't understand or know how to get your best option is to <strong>search the wiki</strong>.
I know it seems like an obvious answer, but this is seriously one of those game's where having a 2nd screen or tab open with the wiki page is pretty much required, especially early on.
Hope it helps!
You read a trash, factually incorrect article somewhere or other, and then come to Reddit for clarification? Reddit? O_0
It didn't once occur to you to try, y'know, the game's own website? Which has a massive explainer for Resurgence linked on the front page?

> HOW DOES IT WORK?
> Upon first login after activation, Warframe generates and emails you a code that you will need to enter before you log in. The code changes every few minutes and can be used only once. This process will need to be repeated the first time you login to Warframe on every PC you play it on. It is therefore very important that you use a valid and trustworthy email address. Please also know that future email changes can only be made while you still have access to your email address.
The Eula states following
"f. use cheats, automation software (bots), hacks, mods or any other unauthorized third-party software, tools or content designed to modify the Software, the Service or the Game experience;"
Cheat engine modifies game experience and is a bot. Soooo.
So no one thinks i took this outta my arse. Here is eula

> 3 Warframes will be available in the next Prime Vault. Frost, Ember and WHO???
This confirms that the every other prime frame will be released at a time. Frost and Ember are confirmed, and it's extremely likely the next frame will be Loki given the pattern.
Where are you getting this info, here maybe?
I believe he was the newest frame out at the time so naturally he would be lower on the usage list. If they released the most current info, I'm sure he would be higher up.
>but I've heard multiple accounts is against ToS
That is incorrect.
>The creation of alternate accounts will be handled on a case by case basis, and we reserve the right to remove accounts used to circumvent any form of restrictions to the game or the Service including the official Warframe forums.

So basically you're fine.
They never publicly announced it cause putting out who just got 250k isn't the best move for that winner's safety

but from the rules:

Well, we might see Ash Prime drop again this year for Tennocon. It did last year. That or they'll do one that hasn't been unvaulted recently. Ash Prime hasn't ever been unvaulted afaik. Chances are he'll drop this year too.
edit: Heres all the other codes while I'm at it. Click for Clem
figure I should post this here despite the fact this thread should just die:
If you don't play Warframe: Basically there's this big hype about the game moving from the Sol solar system into the Tau system (based on comments from the devs in recent years). The announcement is an anticipated "reveal" for tomorrow's TennoCon (a convention held by the developers for this game). The article is a mix of inside jokes between the Warframe community and, well, I am totally unashamed in admitting I love how much the SBF hate Dahved Khage so part of the inside jokes from here too.
This post is tagged as "Satire" on the website. The Forma is my version of The Onion for the game Warframe. Usually I drop in some images for these kinds of posts as well, but I'm mid-vacation right now so text only. There's actual real stuff on that website as well, I was just too cheap to buy two different domains as I worked on this stuff for a couple of years.
If you play Warframe and want a TCN Glyph, feel free to shoot me a PM (include your platform) and I'll send you one once I can. My Glyph looks like this: :V

>Stability & Loyalty Removal
>
>We have removed the DNA Integrity and Loyalty groups from the Companion Management Screen, and removed DNA Stabilizers from the Market. Previously only the Nutrio Incubator Upgrade Segment could eliminate DNA degradation. No more Stability or Loyalty degrading!
>If i create and play on a new account using the same computer or internet provider, will i get banned again?
https://www.warframe.com/terms
>You, as creator of your Account and User ID, are solely responsible for your User ID. Digital Extremes will not tolerate offensive or obscene User IDs. If a User ID violates any part of these terms, DE may immediately, temporarily, or permanently ban such a User ID, with or without notice. The creation of alternate accounts will be handled on a case by case basis, and we reserve the right to remove accounts used to circumvent any form of restrictions to the game or the Service including the official Warframe forums
TLDR: creating an account to get around a ban is a bannable offense (if you get caught)
You forgot about this?
Chains of Harrow - Rell (Webcomic)

There are 2 more:
Inaros is viable. According to these stats, he was the most used frame by Mastery Rank 30 players for 2020. He was second place to Khora for Mastery Rank 29 players, but Khora increased in use after the release of Steel Path last summer.
Well, the only thing mentioned related to that was that the "clan" ones would allow alliance people to count too, and those usually are the "act" with friends too, so it doesn't sound like they are removing the issue at all, just trying to appear to take feedback only to do a meaningless change.
https://www.warframe.com/news/devstream-127
>Clan Acts will also include Alliance members.
https://www.warframe.com/news/account-migration-coming-soon
Is there a confirmed date for account migration?
Actually I'm not sure my account state, just played warframe for maybe two months 5 years ago...
1 - twitch drop only works with Official Warframe Streamers. But don't worry, when Fortuna will be out, all of them will write "partnerstreamer" in the stream title.
2 - you don't need to be logged in warframe, but you need to link the twitch and warframe accounts. You can do it from here https://www.warframe.com/twitch/link
3 - No one knows about the Fortuna ones. Every DevStream there is a fixed reward (only once) and back in the day, with Plains of Eidolon launch, rewards were random, but you could get as many as you could.
4 - Again, In PoE launch event, I left many twitch streams going in the background simultaneously to increase the drops. With Fortuna could be the same stuff or work as a single fixed drop...
5 - Well... nidus is fun, but is also farmable in game. Notice that you can get a free month of Twitch Prime with a free month of Amazon Prime (Amazon Prime implies a subscription to twitch prime)
Use promo code FREESWORD to get a free heat sword, free slot, and it will be potatoed! This will at least be a free item to help with mastery rank.
Make sure you log in first - https://www.warframe.com/promocode
Also MODS make the real difference, not weapon levels. Make sure to keep ranking up your serration mod to rank 8
This and this are the most official words on the matter regarding its exclusivity, with the first link stating:
>A true sign of dedication, vigilance, and lethality, this deadlier version of the Lato will only be wielded by those Tenno who have been with Warframe through the thick and thin of Closed Beta.
The exclusivity of the Lato Vandal was also part of the pitch for the old 'reserve your alias' thing they had for closed beta sign ups (can't find the site right now, could probably find it on wayback).
I'm not too keen on them returning the Lato Vandal, but I'm not entirely against it either. If they bring it back, I'd like a Closed Beta Tester sigil or emblem to compensate.
If you read the comic, you'll realize it was you (that is, the rest of the Tenno) that rejected Rell and didn't let him be rescued. Margulis probably didn't even know about him.
EDIT: just now I read a comment mentioning he could have been the one who blinded her.
For the people who asked where jordas is, ive decidet not to include him becouse, as you know, whe destroyed him and his infestation in his quest, thus he isnt part of the weave anymore. Cordylon is the cephalon the lotus herself is connected with, he once was owning a someway funny question and answer series. Link: http://warframe.wikia.com/wiki/Cephalon_Cordylon Samodeus is the Cephalon who is in charge of smithing the mods and also rivens we use inside the game, but never was fully introducet to be directly a seen in the game, he lives as a background image forward when we open new riven mods. Link: https://www.warframe.com/thewarwithin/rivenmods
If you link your warframe account with twitch, and then watch a streamer earn achievment, you get a reward. You will get 300 latrons, 500 fireworks, and if the planets are aligned, you maybe get something else, like Vectic Prime, Nitian Extract and so on.
You can translate it yourself. DE's official post on Tennobet: https://www.warframe.com/news/tenno-language-decoded
The images seem to be broken for me though. But they're visible on a cached version with the waybackmachine: https://web.archive.org/web/20160109125054/https://www.warframe.com/news/tenno-language-decoded
Afaik it was from back when every player only saw warframes. And to my understanding it's a hint at >!how we're an operator that controls the warframe through a void link!<
It's still relevant lore wise, but doesn't serve much purpose anymore as on old obscure teaser.
I mean only kinda. If they only do NSFW stuff the probably won't get accepted.
>Clearly tag and filter any NSFW content on your branded platforms. We do not want to prevent you from creating this Art, but we will not be linking to sites or accounts that do not follow this guideline. Note: we reserve the right to not offer support if we find that NSFW content produced is illegal or obscene. Source
I think the only truth the community actually knows about all this is that DE's art team is very strict about what's acceptable for Tennogen. They've grown more lenient as we've seen more added to the workshop, but they still have rules. If I remember correctly, some of them can be viewed here. We've seen members of the art team on Devstreams talking about how they don't want skins that resemble real-life attire (this skin in particular), but then we received those skins anyway. I'm pretty sure that I've heard rumors about DE refusing to accept skins that resemble Prime variants, but they seem to accept any skin with metallics as long as something other than gold is used. That said, there's a lot of exceptions to all this, which is why this is one big grey area. I imagine there was never a rule against sentient skins, and instead, one of the members of the art team told a tennogen creator that something was lore-breaking because of what they used. So with their leniency and lack of public view of these discussions with creators, I would imagine there's not a lot of rules really set in place. I wouldn't get too caught up anything unless you hear it from DE specifically.
From devstream 127:
> Plan to have “big finish” for him with a high degree of availability at the end of the event.
Hopefully that will make it easier to farm it. The current spawn chance is still too low.
Thank you
you have done a great job on this one.
but if I may suggest one thing. It would be nice if you added links to quickly redeem those codes, like this:
