For anyone wondering a method to track your progress through this challenge, there's an Android app called dataDex where you can filter the Pokemons by generation (this one would be red/blue, or yellow - 151 Pokemons) and every day it passes, you would check-mark one by one, until you finally have Mew in your collection!
Gotta catch 'em all, let's do this!
DataDex. It's really great. It got all movesets for every pokemon and every generation. So if you're replaying Silver you can have only information that applies to Silver. It lacks some info on the latest stuff added in USUM but the dev is pushing updates and there is an upcoming team builder feature for paid users.

There's one that I plan on using that's a Pokedex app on Android called dataDex It has what you're looking for and you can adjust the voice to be more robotic if you wish. I really like it.

Includes all Pokemon generations, Pokemon sub variations.
More importantly you can ask it to ignore changes from latest generation.
I'm replaying Silver right now and it's useful to know what move X Pokemon will learn at Y level in that specific game.
With the release of the Let's Go series my girlfriend and I have been using our Google Home for Pokemon data like crazy. We've also got an app called datadex. I don't know if it's available for iOS, but it is on Android. Made my tablet useful again. :)
Hey there! Were you able to test out this application? Google Play Link - dataDex - Pokédex for Pokémon. Or any suggested app like this that you use?
I find it really useful for like a quick search on the app for information about Pokemons, Moves, etc.
Depends on if you are asking if this is possible in game or if it possible outside of the game.
I'm not sure about if this is possible in game. (maybe after you beat the game and unlock natural dex?)
For websites, I have seen people use this for living dexs. I would image it has the feature you want.
I personally use an android application that does this feature and more. It allows for sorting of any generation within any game, sorted by national dex or game dex. Also have location, type trees, move sets and so on. It has a free and paid version and its called dataDex
Hope that helps!
I know you asked to a website but I'm going to put in an Android app called dataDex
Hopefully this is useful for you.
This app does everything you want and more. There is a free version with ads and you can pay for the pro version.
You can sort by game, game dex order and natural dex. You can even sort by generator within a game for example only show gen 1 pokemon in SWSH by game or natural dex order.
Other features: You can choose to show different version of pokemon like gigantamax, has cloud save (pro feature), track catch Pokemon, shows location of all Pokemon in all the different games, has a team builder showing break down like move coverage etc.
Only issue, it's not a website like you wanted and it's only for Android.
dataDex is my go to pokedex app if you have an Android phone
I use DataDex. Has everything you described.
I recommend the app datadex for you phone.

It's super smooth and intuitively tells you everything you need about a Pokemon. Plus it's free!
For Android, I'm using dataDex https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.talzz.datadex
Works fine, some features behind paywall. Just got it today, will play with it a bit before deciding to pay
/u/bezzaton from the way the screenshots look in the Play-store listing, how is the app different from a simple Android WebView representation of the site? Feature suggestion: add a bit more options in the hamburger menu, such as categories like Pokémon/Items/Abilities and stuff like that. You could learn from how someone else (not me) did it.
I use dataDex on Android and it looks really sleek.
data Dex is a good app.

Used this app But one has to pay for pro functions like team builder

There's an android app called DataDex, which has a great team builder. I don't know if it's on iOS or not.
Here the app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.talzz.datadex dont think there a book with all the pokemon yet What are you trying to use it for
Offline support is important IMO. Game specific data is my second requirement when looking for an app.
Currently I mostly use dataDex and the Bulbapedia app (you can fav pages and get them offline).
If you target only android, you can use Android Studio to dev your app. For iPhone app you must use XCode I think. If you want to go cross-platform there's multiple alternatives depending on your favourite language (Kivy, Meteor, Xamarin...).
Don't try to make everything at once, make your "core" app working and then add features you want/need.
