Buy this spinning disco ball thing off Amazon. It has little lights on it, and it spins indefinitely. Take the light bulb out of it so it doesn't drive you insane. Then catch 300+ of the Kanto version you want to trade. Take your joycon and secure it in a way that the spinning ball will hit the bumper while it spins. Set a timer to see how long it takes to trade all the Pokemon you caught, and then you can just set an alarm to soft reset when you don't get it. That's how I did it.

It's cheaper on Amazon. $45 is a reasonable price, but you could always buy a used copy or just rent the game for about $3 a week.

Oh dang, I did not see that dongle that attaches when using the wireless charger. Yeah I have no idea. Looking at some videos to me it looks uncomfortable (and a bit ugly).
