Try using FreeDCam and opening the manual settings by swiping up, you should be able to manually manipulate the focus.
For now, this is my only suggestion sadly.
Okay, so we tried it and confirmed that it doesn't work on the Lightroom app, but does on the FreeDCam app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=troop.com.freedcam&hl=en. Therefore, it means that the app itself isn't producing data that Robin can understand. We can try more apps as alternatives though!
For Android, FreeDCam https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=troop.com.freedcam&hl=en_US&referrer=utm_source%3Dgoogle%26utm_medium%3Dorganic%26utm_term%3Dfreedcam&pcampaignid=APPU_1_1kMuXcXwM4ratQaiqLXwDg or Snap Camera https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.marginz.snap&hl=en_US&referrer=utm_source%3Dgoogle%26utm_medium%3Dorganic%26utm_term%3Dsnap+camera&pcampaignid=APPU_1_-kMuXZW4FtrbtAbJuaq4CA
I'm sure results may vary. For my part though, the difference in quality is noticeable. I can take a picture of a distant airplane and it will be an airplane in my photo, rather than an unidentifiable blob.
> I judged a lot of HDR+ off images and criticized them for being low quality.
Have you tried using other camera apps like FreeDCam, specifically after disabling wavelet denoise and edge sharpening ('Wavelet Denoise' and 'Edge Mode' both set to 'Off')? I've found doing this can get much higher quality out of the camera sensor, even without HDR+.
FreeDCam itself also allows you to capture video with these options set, which in my opinion greatly increases quality.
I'm using a fantastic app called FreeDCam which gives me full manual control (focus, iso, exposure, etc) and it shoots RAW without the RAW+Long Exposure bug. I'm not sure if your ROM supports it, but I use the CM13 nightlies and it works just fine for low light long exposure photography.

FreeDCam will allow you access to all 4 cameras and raw capture too.
Also available at F-Droid too

Maybe it may not be available in your country if you do not see it in the playstore.
And the limit of 150Mbit on Cinema4k could be the limit of the Firmware currently on your phone. As long as it works, I wouldn't care. You may not even want to go that high anyways as it will take lots of storage space.....and editing more time consuming. etc.
I use FreeDcam on my LG G3 to capture RAW pictures. It also allows you to tinker with manual controls. This is the closest thing to Camera2 API implementation for our phone. Why don't you give it a try? https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=troop.com.freedcam&hl=en

Doesn't work properly with my phone. Running oxygen 3.0.2. I have enabled all 4 permissions required by the app. I wasn't able to change many settings and selecting some settings crashed the app.
If your device supports Camera2 api try FreeDCam
hmm that's odd freedcam is now on playstore give this version a try https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=troop.com.freedcam
