Try using FreeDCam and opening the manual settings by swiping up, you should be able to manually manipulate the focus.
For now, this is my only suggestion sadly.
Civ5 and dolphin is where you start seeing issues with your price range.
I don't know if I can suggest something that would be completely capable of doing those two items, but, I can suggest the best specced tablet/laptop that would do those two things the best (but they might not do it well).
You basically want an Apollo Lake chipset (N3450, N4200) with an SSD, that's about the best you can do. The closest I see is
They've just taken the photos from GSMArena's review of the device and put them in a YouTube video and passed off as content.

GSMArena always photograph the same locations for their tests so I would recognize them anywhere

I'm using the Leagoo Lead 7 as a daily driver right now, and you can get it for 99 bucks on Gearbest. I'll probably do a review in the near future, but so far I must say I've been really impressed. The battery is really good (moderate use gets you 2.5 days average), performance is really adequate for the price (All of my regularly played games run without framedrops on it). The camera, while it's advertised as 13MP, certainly isn't that, but it's definitely serviceable, and the screen survives my patented press-the-screen-until-my-fingernail-bends test without any discoloration, which is rare. No 4G though.
The difference between 4.5" and 5" is not all that much, a friend of mine has the thl 5000 and it's an awesome phone so if you change your mind I recommend it.
~~http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_133541.html This doogee phone is the only 4.5" with good battery life I could find and it is rugged which is nice but it will perform substantially worse than the THL 5000.~~ No gyroscope sorry
If you'd like to sacrifice a bit in the battery department I'd recommend http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_204055.html as it's a well known brand (lots rom optimization etc.). My redmi 1s has about 4 hours of screentime on a full day so :).
Hope this helps
How about gearbest, they have an UK warehouse:
http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones-c_11293/?wid[]=3
I'm happy with the Lenovo K3 Note, backcover is creaking a bit and you might need to flash a custom rom but it is an excellent choice for the money.
This seller advertises it. I think it's the Taiwanese version that enabled band 20.
Edit: however you were asking for one that is not 5.5" so disregard it.
Redmi Note 4, definitely. Its processor is a lot better than the one in the Umi and Xiaomi is more reliable. The odds for updates on the Redmi is also far greater.
On Kimovil the cheapest phones which I could find was the Xiaomi Mi 4c at 105 USD. That is 73 USD cheaper than the Umi Super. Kimovil link
That is Macedonian language. It looks like Latvian language for MIUI hasn't been fully translated yet (it is 98% done, check link down below), so that is why some stuff is in English and Macedonian.
I think it'd be easier to get a regualr tablet and then stick a magnet to the back of it - there's loads of inexpensive magnetic strips with adhesive on the back on the internet - https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01DKEXNWY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_qolYAb7N48BPX Seems like a good option from amazon :)
OnePlus phones all have good dev support on XDA. Also, Zuk Z2 has a handful of roms available (check zukfans.eu), and is priced around $200 USD right now.
No, that one is not the International Version, so it's without 4G B20 band. I meant this: http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_487801.html?mhm&lkid=10130933 Apply Coupon 32GBRedmi and it gets down to 125.8€
As for the waterproof case, I got this waterproof case from Gearbest. I only tested in a small swimming pool for a couple of minutes, but no water got inside.
Yeah older android is a slight put off.
Xiaomi prices itself higher than most cheap tablet brands (Gearbest)[http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_154810.html?wid=4] started selling 64gb ROM versions though I noticed earlier today. I'm not a fan of Gearbest as I've heard many horror stories about them but they are the only ones selling original mipads that cheap as an online store.
Fortunately I got mine second hand in France, the guy had never used it, very happy with it so far
EDIT : The higher price might also be due to the screen resolution... Can't really find that many retina screens on 8in tablets
I don't own it, but have a look at the Xiaomi Mi Note 2. Has an IR blaster, SD 821, big battery, OLED, 3.5mm jack and decent custom ROM support. Should be about £200/$250 https://www.gsmarena.com/xiaomi_mi_note_2-8014.php
You probably want something running stock (or nearly stock) Android or a device on the Android One program. I guess ultimately it depends on what LTE bands you need and how much importance you put on GPU performance.
The UMIDIGI F1 Play is virtually identical to the Note 7 but with a better battery and worse GPU performance.
I'd recommend this: http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_234129.html, the bluboo xtouch the best value you will get with fingerprint scanner, sd and in that pricerange (20$ over but worth it I think)
Seems nice! Would you recommend the Onda or the Cube i7 Stylus? Don't know which one and can I buy a keyboard with it? And is this site trusted and delivers fast?
This is the one I would buy, because they have a EU warehouse: http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_234642.html?wid=3
Thanks for the suggestions!
Link to these models compared if anyone else is investigating these options:

I'm still mostly leaning towards the Le Pro 3 x720, the hardware just seems so good for the price. The Mi Note 2 is a close contender, but it's just a bit too much extra money over the Le Pro 3
Here you have a list with the best phones supporting LTE Band 28: Click here my friend!
You can change the parameters there for your desire.
Cheers.
Amazon Kindle Fire flashed with CyanogenMod in place of the stock FireOS.
If you have Prime, the tablet is rumored to be going on sale for $15 off on Tuesday.
I don't think you'll find many Chinaphones with band 17 (700Mhz).
I would stay away from Doogee, Ulefone and other small brands. They're known to lie about specs and even bundle adware and malware (trojans) in their phones. The most reliable Chinaphone band is Xiaomi, and I highly recommend getting a Xiaomi phone.
Xiaomi phones like the Redmi Note 4 (Global version, Snapdragon 625) have 4000mAh batteries. The Xiaomi Mi A1 runs stock Android and gets updated frequently. But most Xiaomi phones lack LTE band 2 (1900Mhz) and rarely if ever have band 17. They do come with band 4 and and band 5 for LTE, though.
If you want to find out which band your phone is connected to on LTE, use an app like this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.simplyadvanced.ltediscovery&hl=en
I live in the US, but I imagine that you could just buy an adapter for the phone to make it compatible with your outlet, or you could provide your own charger. Even flagship phone omit charging bricks these days. If you need fast charging, you could get a 60w pd charging brick for around 20 bucks. I can't imagine that ulefone would use a proprietary charging standard so you're probably good if you buy something like that.
http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-accessories/pp_353543.html
I meant this, I thought this was a later release and that the Hi10 Pro originally had one of the fixed angle keyboard docks, though maybe I got the wrong end of the stick reading a review, or am getting confused between the Hi10 Pro and the Hi10 Plus etc.
But yes, the keyboard has two USB ports.

I can recommend the Vernee Apollo Lite., If you don't mind the fingerprint reader being a bit slow and the camera being not to great but still ok then you'll be happy with it. I got mine a month ago and haven't had any problems. I got mine here for 146€: http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_356130.html
I had to pay 25€ customs duty and had to send them my receipt but no big hassle or anything. It arrived within 14 days
If you have any questions feel free to ask.
Has a better camera, processor, screen, build than the Redmi Note 3 Pro. It's kind of high end.
Redmi Note 3 pro has sd slot, better battery and headphone jack.
Select "Priority line" shipping to avoid custom taxes.
Yeah they make quite a few choices. I am not saying that it's totally unusable, it's just that there are much better software experiences out there IMO. That said modern FlymeOS isn't too horrible looking - GSMArena does a decent job of covering the features: https://www.gsmarena.com/meizu_15_meizu_15_plus_meizu_15_lite_hands_on-review-1753p4.php

For me it would be the Xiaomi Mi 8, no question at all.
Does yours or your dad's look like this?
http://www.dx.com/p/ocube-passive-touch-pen-stylus-for-stylus-version-cube-i7-iwork11-black-418556
I got this one and there's no pressure sensitivity. I've spoken to others who received the same pen with no pressure sensitivity.
Using a note 3 s-pen works fine.
Consider the MLais M7, slightly less battery than your wish list but that's why Buddha gave us power bricks.
This phone should be really good. 5.5 FHD screen, 4GB RAM, 10 Core Helios X20, Fingerprint scanner, USB type C, Android 6.0, 32 GB Storage wich is expandable with an SD card.
less than a ticket to the cinema where I live
http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_281300.html
I already had the chuwi case with room for a keyboard. everything is not peachy but its a very good value.
Here's a list of 2017-2018 phones that have a width of 70mm or less and have at least 3GB of RAM:
https://www.gsmarena.com/results.php3?nYearMin=2017&nWidthMax=70&nRamMin=3000&sOSes=2
Only a handful of phones there I'm afraid, not too many within your budget. You might want to hunt down a used phone. Don't be too put off by the screen size, it's the physical width that is the main factor for people with smallish hands.
Good luck
I will! I'll probably post a review in the sub but I'll try to notify you as well. Meanwhile, you could also take a look at this amazing deal. It's a previous Nubia model, but it was pretty much the flagship of the line. While the camera is "only" 16MP, it has OIS, which does much more than any increase of resolution could, has a better processor and most of all, bezelless. I would've bought it, but it's only available in gold (being the Elite version), but apart from that it's a much better device than the one I recommended you. When looking for reviews, just look for "Nubia z9", the "Elite" postfix is just a special edition of sorts.
The Nubia Z11 Mini S seems to be a perfect fit for you! 5.2", 22.8MP camera, Snapdragon 625 CPU, has 64GBs of storage AND comes with a TF slot, and the cheapest version (the price only differs according to color) is within your price range. I actually ordered one yesterday, if you want to hear how it is I can let you know when I get it.
PS: I ordered mine here
You mean something like THIS?
The prices in general don't seem that much lower, but there's some savings to be had.
They also have a coupon thing where you have to be insanely fast to get to it, but don't see the point considering you have to be insanely fast to even have a chance to get it. Here it is if interested: http://www.gearbest.com/m-promotion-active-196.htm
I think you should save up 27 more bucks and get this: http://www.gearbest.com/cell-phones/pp_237295.html It's super rugged (survives hammer beating etc.) and it actually has proper specs like 2gb ram and a 64-bit processor. 5-inch may seem big but if you want the phone to even run the keyboard smoothly you'll probably need " "some" speed in it.
I'm pretty sure that that's a Type Cover for the surface and use it just to promote their tablet. Which is pretty bad :/ The only keyboard I found for it would be this: http://www.gearbest.com/tablet-pcs/pp_149949.html
thanks for putting this on my radar. Gearbest has it's specs listed as 4GB ram and 20 MP camera. Seems like a homerun if they can keep that 173 price!
Thanks for the heads up that definitely is a cool phone. ANd now I'm conflicted between this and the M7.
Another option can be the ASUS Zenphone. Its not much price difference from the elephone. But its a stable and well known company. 4GB RAM and an Intel processor.
Yea 5.5 is huge. I only have normal sized human hands. From what I've read gearbest and geekbuying
Also there is www.reddit.com/r/lenovok3note. It's not much right now but it's still probably more than most china phones.
Hmm, the specs aren't that amazing to be honest. 1GB of RAM, 8GBs storage, sub-par screen, meh cameras, and an MTK6582 + 6290. Redeeming factors are of course, the fact that it's a rugged phone, waterproof, and the large battery. The SOS button is a fun addition but probably a cheap one too.
For instance, a non-rugged phone with about the same specs, but with more RAM and storage, is the Mpie G7 which costs just $140.
I don't know a thing about the brand, but there's really no reason this should be too good to be true, except for the LTE it's pretty much on par with the other rugged phones out there.
I believe you go here and choose the correct type of chip (so you need to know whether your phone is an ARM, 64 bit ARM or an Intel variant (unlikely)), choose your version of Android and download this.
If you can't install it, look up how to use ADB to install Play Services.
Oh! I'm sorry My mistake! They do make an INTERNATIONAL variant of the Cubot X30.
If you have the China version of the phone it won't be compatible at all.
If you have the INTERNATIONAL version of the phone it will work with sprint and t-mobile 4G
Check the details here
Not compatible at all.
Even if the bands are the same the technologies are different. China uses Time Division Multiplexing and in the western world we use Frequency Division Multiplexing.
The modem, antennas and other transmission equipment will be different and incompatible.
If you are looking for a budget phone I recommend a used OnePlus 7pro (Can be had for around $250)
Or if you need a new one use Kimovil to check compatibility with your network. The Samsung A series are really good as well as the new NORD phones from oneplus.
Go away...
$200-300usd will buy you a pretty stonking phone. Definitely not budget :)
Since you want one with a good camera, I'd actually find out the best cameras available for any sort of phone.
https://www.kimovil.com/en/compare-cameras
On kimovil.com you can search by camera model and specs.
So search by camera, hit the dual sim checkbox on the search and go from there
You should be able to get the Redmi Note 8 for around that price ($160) from places like Banggood and Teknistore. For a full list of the prices for each version of the Redmi Note 8, I recommend you visit the Kimovil page.
Kimovil is a great site for finding cheap prices for all phones, unfortunately there are no prices listed for the Realme 6i.
The Redmi Note 8 is a great phone for the price, with a good mid-range processor which should make every ordinary daily-activity smooth and quick on the phone - if you intend on gaming a lot, you will obviously need to get a phone with a better chipset, but I doubt you are.
One thing to keep in mind - the Redmi Note 8 is good, but does not have NFC. If NFC is a requirement for you, you can get the Redmi Note 8T which is practically the exact same as the vanilla Redmi Note 8, but with the addition of NFC. Here is the Kimovil page for the Redmi Note 8T.
Check this website out. I've set the filters to show USB-C phones under $200 USD in order of cost-effectiveness (ratings vs. price point).
Not very well. It has 1 of 5 of the 4G bands, no 3G bands and 1 of 2 of the 2G bands.
I find this website useful for this sort of question. You can use their network compatibility checker to find out https://www.kimovil.com/en/where-to-buy-redmi-855
Just ordered a Armor 6, receiving it on Monday. I'll be using it on an AT&T MVNO (Good2Go Mobile). According to the Ulefone site, and Kimovil, the Armor 6/6E supports 5/9 4G bands and all 3G bands on the AT&T network in the USA.
I'll keep you updated on how it works out.
IT will work fine. It has all the bands (even the new B71)
For BYOD sometimes they make you go to the store when you activate it the first time.
Use this tool to check frequencies.
It's dangerous to go alone ... here take THIS
(search for the movile device you are interested in then scroll all the way down and it tells you in a very simple chart how many bands for each US carrier it supports)
This one does the same but has a harder to read chart and more obscure phones listed.
https://www.kimovil.com/en/compare-smartphones/f_min_d+eurPrice.200,f_max_d+eurPrice.260
Along with other Xiaomi devices and some others, I'd say the Poco is the best option. I'ts available for cheap now, I ordered one myself as well.
I don't have a specific phone to recommend. Straight Talk's bring your own phone program has you pop in an AT&T, T-Mobile, or Sprint compatible SIM. I'm using Straight Talk on the AT&T network. This will help you tell if a phone will work on a network.
Android is more or less unusable with less than 2gb ram. It'll be laggy as shit after a while You can find some for like 60 euros from sketchy brands but it doesn't make any sense when you can add 8 more euro and get a really nice phone, the leeco s3. https://www.kimovil.com/en/where-to-buy-leeco-letv-le-s3-3gb-x522
Its the best bang for your buck.
Seems to have everything he would need. Band 20 is usually the one omitted that is necessary here. I am now looking at the Blackview BV7000 Pro having read a few reviews by happy customers on different forums and a few youtube videos. https://www.kimovil.com/en/compare/blackview-bv7000,blackview-bv7000-pro,doogee-s60,doogee-s60-lite#connectivity
I have also been burned by Vernee. In my case the battery lost 90% of the capacity and started bulging.
Have you thought of the Xiaomi mi A1. It's a bit low in the Antutu, but from all reviews it is powerful enough for all common tasks.
I use the x829 myself which was the american version but never got released. That one comes with CDLA headphones, factory install screen protector and a clear silicon case. Those models where the cheapest at one time but they are hard to get now. Check here for different models and prices.
https://www.kimovil.com/en/where-to-buy-leeco-letv-le-max-2-6gb-64gb
Xiaomi Mi A1 decent performance (mid range CPU) Enough Ram 4gb and storage. 64gb. But most importantly stock android would ensure you to get going without to much fuzz.
About Qualcomm's Sanpdragon 412 (Found in the AGM A8):
https://www.kimovil.com/en/list-smartphones-by-processor/qualcomm-snapdragon-410-msm8916
Overall the chipset was used in low-range budget phones last year in 2016. and was used extensively as a lower-mid-range chip from 2014 to 2015. The chip, the SD 410/412, is overall 3 years old, originally introduced in 2013/4.
An important caveat to note is that in 2015, Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) was succeeded by Snapdragon 412 (MSM8916v2). This 2015 chip is still in production, yet to be discontinued, and is still showing up in new budget handsets. All SD 4xx Series chips are 28 nm chips since the inception of the original SD400 in 2013 to the latest SD435 in late-2016 (used in the LG Q6). The very newest addition to the 4xx Series in the Snapdragon 450 which is now built on 14 nm architecture with 8 cores. So far only the Vivo V7+ is using the Snapdragon 450.
Notable phones using the SD 410/412:
Using version 2 (412 2015-chip):
• LG X Screen 2016
• LG Stylus 2 2016
• Samsung Galaxy J3 Pro 2016
Using version 1 (410):
• LG G4 Stylus 2015
• Samsung Galaxy J5 2015
• Samsung Galaxy A3 2014
• HTC Desire 620 2014
• Lenovo K3 2014
• Huawei Honor 4X 2014

There's no way you'll get all this in a phone that will be both an upgrade from the Mi4c (which is still an excellent phone) and cost £150. You need to move up to at least £200-250.
Choose from the available devices on kimovil: https://www.kimovil.com/en/compare-smartphones/order.usdPrice,order_type.asc,f_min_d+screenSize.5,f_max_d+screenSize.5.6,f_min_d+screenResolutionHeight.1500,fe_bands-lte-800,fe_conectivity-nfc
But be aware that many of the cheaper ones are weaker than the Mi4c.

Initial Amazon reviews look good. Surprising since Amazon reviewers are usually pretty harsh on China phones.
If you're in the US I recommend buying it there instead of China-based stores (total $209 with 5% coupon + no sales tax). The seller is Umidigi's official store and I received mine in 4 days with Prime shipping. Can't speak for my own experience however, as I'm returning it unopened for a Mi 8 since I realized how much I value good Gcam and AMOLED display. But if you're not willing to pay an extra ~$180 for those features (and the loss of a headphone jack), the Umidigi F1 looks like a great deal.
I have the umidigi one pro on Cricket, and it works fine for voice, text, and data. here are the bands:
>2G: GSM 2 /3 /5 /8 2G: CDMA1X BC0,BC1 > >3G: EVDO BC0,BC1 3G: WCDMA 1 /2 /4 /5 /8 3G: TD-SCDMA 34 /39 > >G: TDD-LTE 34 /38 /39 /40 /41 > >4G: FDD-LTE 1 /2 /3 /4 /5 /7 /8 /12 /13 /17 /18 /19 /20 /25 /26 /28A /28B
six months in, my big complaint is there are NO updates, at all, not even security. the stock camera app is not great as well, but if you are buying this phone for the cameras you will be disappointed. But for texting, voice calls, data, hotspot, and USB tethering, it's worked very well. Bluetooth connections sometimes have issues, but it's nothing that can't be fixed with a reboot or re-pairing.
I see the One Pro is no longer for sale on amazon, but I assume other umidigi phones will be about the same (for example).
Think I will go with the Redmi 9s 6gb/128 to be safe. I also was looking at

I don't see where it's worth the extra 100 dollars though
I have a Xiaomi Redmi note 9s international. I got it because it has plenty of data bands since I travel to Canada a lot from USA. I have t mobile in the USA which has the North America plan so it works in USA, Canada, and Mexico with no roaming. The data is 3g speed I think when out of the USA. My T mobile phone works fine when I am in Canada and I have never had any charges except my regular phone bill. Of course, I cannot travel to Canada right now and try this new phone but I know it will work. Price was only 232 us dollars

strangely, the Mi A2 has dropped to a cheaper price than the A2 Lite on amazon. I've been watching it for awhile. just an fyi, its $165 for the 4/64 version https://www.amazon.com/Xiaomi-64GB-Camera-AndroidOne-Smartphone/dp/B07FMPVBQR/ref=pd_lpo_vtph_504_lp_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=G43JSYB8G4XC8EHYTHPC
the F1 is actually deal of the day on Amazon right now. Its $187 for the black or red version. Great deal! Only good for 5 more hours...
interesting, the amazon listings I've seen all clearly indicate in bold type at the top of the product name "NO WARRANTY" or this one - did the product listing you purchased also say NO WARRANTY or did it specify a 1 year manufacturer's warranty?
thanks
Just to mention. The Essential Phone could be bought from Amazon US. Amazon global shipping organize taxes and everything during checkout.

You think this is expensive? This is one of the best value/money tablets out there right now... I don't know if you can get better for under 200 unless you forget about getting a 16:9 tablet.
Hi, I'm the guy you PM'd.
I've got a 32gb Samsung EVO SD card in mine. Windows tells me it's formatted to FAT32 and Android could read it out of the box.
I think the guy you spoke to was right - I formatted my SD to exFAT and the tablet didn't recognise it, neither did this app.
I think your best bet, if you absolutely have to handle >4gb files, is to format the sd to Ext3 or Ext4. I tried that with my card, but Android didn't recognise them and I can't find a quick way of fixing it; maybe /r/AskAndroid could help with that one.
Hiya, I can't quite answer your question because I've never once used the microSD slot on my Chuwi Hi8.
However, what I do is use one of these bad boys. It's NTFS formatted so I've never had any issues with file sizes. It's much more useful for plenty other stuff rather than just rotting away in the tablet, just my two cents.
You can even use a USB OTG charger if you need to charge whilst you're using the tablet. (never tried this but people seem to say that it's working)
Apparently the brown ones are fakes too - just better working ones.
I've submitted and escalated my dispute for a full refund of the pen.
Also, take a look at this, I think its the same pen.

ZTE Axon is going to be your best bet. It supports bands 2/4/12 for 4G. However it comes in above your budget. The
OnePlus One does not support Band 12, but the OnePlus Two does. If you don't have Band 12 on you area, you can get away with just 2/4.
I am okay with 3g. I ending up settling with the Meizu M2 Note + t-mobile sim card both being shipped via prime.. While I know it's not the most popular phone on here, it's a tremendous upgrade from my current phone which was http://www.amazon.com/LG-Optimus-F3-Virgin-Mobile/dp/B00D9AOU3G/ref=sr_1_4?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1448112575&sr=1-4&keywords=lg+optimus+f3 . I will be happy, no doubt. The internal memory was annoying as shit on that thing, even rooted. I really did want that redmi note 2 but I couldn't find a carrier beyond 2G. lmao. I, of course, want a phone that functions as it's main purpose, to make calls. If I wanted something to just play with and game on, I would be in the market for a tablet. Maybe a overlooked a carrier for the redmi note 2 but that would be hard to do considering the limited options in NA.
Hi there, thanks for your input :) I'd have a few questions if you allow :) especially regarding the camera. Does the stock-app has some sort of HDR mode, and RAW capabilities? If not, can other apps do it? an app like this can check it out, if you'd be kind enough to check: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=pl.vipek.camera2_compatibility_test&hl=de Hows the display in terms of contrast? That's where Samsung really shines (pun intended), the AMOLED are simply great. Is LeEco too? I know the Le2 and LeMax2 will differ in some regards but surely might be similar in others :)
Regarding the headphone jack, I do understand the wish for better connections but at least I'd like to have the choice :( I didn't know about the adapter that surely helps, I'd still prefer a normal jack (also because I like angled jacks on the phone). I might get a Bluetooth adapter then eventually, that could work out! :)
I'd definately aim for the bigger versions which get more expensive, but 64GB is a must if no microSD fits. But the price is still fine and dual-SIM is pretty neat (I plan to cancel my contract and get two prepaid models, a cheap internet one and another for phone)
Thanks for the video, very thorough! And thanks for the camera samples. It does look like they might be interpolated to about 15mp, so potentially the images might look better if you pick 13mp in settings.
Could you run the Manual Camera Compatibility test on it and share the results, please?

Also, does the matte back feel like it could get scratched easily?
Hey there, welcome to the sub! Try installing this app, it's supposed to disable "headset" features (like controls and microphone, which your headphones obviously don't have). Your phone has to be rooted though.
Another phone victim to dumb partitioning. My Oppo had to wait for a year until they officially released a patch for the ridiculous 2GB app limit, and your situation seems even worse, since I don't expect them to release a fix officially. My best advice is to watch custom development for the phone closely, maybe some smart modder manages to fix it with LVM or something.
In the meantime you should get an external SD and use an app like this one to move application data to that SD card.
