Handcent Next SMS, right?

When it displays the thread list, how do I get rid of the circle icons with the contact's initial? I hate looking at those.
That's what annoyed me about Google Messages.

I don't want to see a circle with a M. I just want the contact's full contact name.
Hi, If you are asking about this app, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.handcent.app.nextsms
I checked and this is not available on galaxy watch 4.
If you want me to check for any other app, give the link for the app and I'll check.
Try a third party texting app. My wife's phone was doing this and I couldn't get it to work with the default Samsung installed SMS application. So I installed the one I like to use, Handscent Next SMS, and it worked great.
When you install a different SMS app it doesn't change anything on your phone so you can still use the old SMS if you want. The new one will just read the same SMS data on your phone so all SMS apps should show the same messages. So east to try and if it doesn't work or you don't like the app you can simply delete it without losing any texts.
Download a different SMS app. Then when you next send an app it should ask you which one you want to use.
Try Handcent. You might like it better.
Which update? Which phone?
If you don't like the built in messaging application, the download and try another one instead. I am fond of Next SMS which has some very cool customizable stuff including fonts, colors, and even the notification sound you get for specific people.
There are any number of SMS replacement apps that have that option. This is the one I used to use:

When last I used it (several years ago), it allowed you to schedule SMS messages to be sent @ any time of your choosing. I can't imagine it's gotten rid of such a useful function. But then again, the world never ceases to amaze me...
I use Handcent
Looks like they renamed it?

Handcent sms try that
I have been using this app for work since I can schedule text messages for free and save templates (most other apps is a premium $$ervice)
I just found out that they have a new app version that connects to their website to send text messages like MightyText
Apparently can text from multiple numbers too.

Edit: not sure why hyperlink isn't working
