I downloaded the font here and used this app to apply it. Just note that you will need a file explorer to copy the download to the app's folder :)

(You probably don't need the app if you're rooted, but I'm not sure since I'm not)

• Roboto Font
• Hifont
• Download, extract to /HiFont/
• Select the font by going to HiFont -> Sidebar -> My Font and select "Roboto" followed by "Use"
• Select preferred font in the dialog(This is also found in your phone settings under display)

Attention Samsung Users
I have tested a shit ton of font apps from the play store and all have failed to actually apply the font, but I have just found this app that has finally worked, this is not a scam I promise you...

I did it a while back, but I remember using this app:

HiFont

Use it to install the font, then change it in font settings on your phone. I think you have to have root to do this, but I'm not exactly sure. I would suggest uninstalling the apps right after you're done installing the fonts.

Okay then some manufactures have added the feature. But I wouldn't put the OnePlus in the same league of popularity as Samsung.

Also I searched the Play Store for font changing apps. The most popular app only works on Samsung phones. Other phones you need to be rooted.

I wouldn't know how to do that, I just used HiFont (you need root, of course). It's listed under the "Formal" category in the app.

HiFont has recently started with the lock screen ad bullshittery too.
