EmbeePay comes up on the Play Store as this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.embeepay.mpm&hl=en which requests insane amounts of permissions in return for a "performance meter" that rewards you with gift cards... It's very likely scraping and selling your personal information (or worse).
Get that crap off this sub-reddit, nobody wants to be a part of your referral scheme in order to install a shoddy app that steals your info.
Android only.

A better app is called "Mobile Performance Meter" by embee, has optional surveys, but it also just monitors usage, and gives u 15 cents a day for it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.embeepay.mpm&hl=en_US.
Pm me if you want an invite link from me(gives me free monies if u sign up using my link). Dont want to self promote tho
crazy both of those apps are incompatible with all of my devices - and i'm running every OS from 2.3.5 to 7.x. I wonder if it's specific to locale?
i'm running this one. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.embeepay.mpm
I wonder if you can use all 3?
Thanks for posting this. I'm already signed up to Screenwise and I'll give the others a try this week. Can all be used on a farm phone or do they need a cellular data connection? The less I'm running on my normal phone the better.
Also if you want you can add Mobile Performance Meter to your list. I'm not sure if it's on anything other than Android or not. I have used it and it does require a mobile data connection so no farm phones. I forgot the number of points you get for signing up, but you get 20 points a day and I think 100 points for a survey. Surveys seem to always be the same and average to about one a month. It's always been if I like my carrier and if I would recommend them to others. I think you may get points when making a call as well, but I'm not sure. I have seen a jump in points after a call, but I don't send or receive calls much to know. I mostly text and use data. They have a number of gift cards however I stick with Amazon. At the 5 dollar amount it's 100 points per dollar and usually you get the gift card the day you cash in depending on how early you cash in for it. So that's 5 bucks every 25 days for just the 20 points a day. Issue is after one of the past updates you may have to check it daily to make sure it's still running. Even with the icon showing on your notification bar the app may not be running. Even then it's hit and miss however more hit than miss. With all that I wouldn't be suggesting it if I had yet to get paid. I have received a few gift cards already. Here's a link to it on the play store. As far as I know you don't use referrals.

I've made quite a bit of spending money over the last year and a half with the websites/apps listed below. It's definitely no replacement for a job, but much of it is either passive or something you can do while watching tv, playing games or redditing at work.
Swagbucks (Referral / non-referral) is a site that pays you to engage with advertising, sign-up for offers, watch videos, play games and fill out surveys. If you're savvy you can make 100+ bucks fairly quickly by signing up for free trials and making sure you cancel them before the trial period is over. There's plenty of smaller offers if you're not into giving out cc information. You can make $1.18 total a day mostly on auto pilot with their 6 mobile apps: Swagbucks TV Mobile, EntertaiNOW TV Mobile, Lifestylz.tv(android only) MovieCli.ps(android only), Sportly.tv(android only) and Indymusic.tv(android only). You just favorite a short video in each app and let it loop until it reaches the daily point limit. (find shortest videos here:)They pay out via Paypal, Amazon gift cards or many other gift cards. Message me if you need any help setting up the apps!
Yroo (Referral / non-referral) is a social shopping community that let's you shop, share, and save from dozens of popular brands. They offer cash back on all purchases as well as rewards for using the site and sharing your finds with followers and friends. If you don't want to make purchases you can still easily earn by sharing your referral link. They pay out to Paypal.
Bing Rewards (Referral / non-referral) Pays you to use Bing search. You get 1 point per 2 searches up to a maximum of 15 points a day. You can also get an additional 10 points a day for mobile searches. You're allowed 5 accounts per "household" (IP address), but each account technically needs to belong to a different person. If you use believable names and email addresses you can be 5 people! Just don't redeem for a reward on more than 1 account per day. If you've keeping track that's 125 points (roughly worth $1.25) a day. Does that sound like a lot of searching? Well there are numerous ways of automating the searches. Try using Bing-pong or anything else you can find with a quick internet search. They pay out via Amazon gift card or many other gift cards.
Qmee (Referral / non-referral) is one that I love for its simplicity. It won't earn as much as the other sites/apps in this list, but it requires very little effort. Qmee installs a browser add-on that displays related advertisements on the left side of your screen after searching particular phrases in Google, Bing, Amazon and Ebay. By clicking any of the advertisements you instantly earn 5-15 cents. You can cash out to (verified) Paypal at any amount and they usually get it to you within the hour (very rare in this scene). They are pretty good at not letting you game the system, but try searching for consumer products like "socks", "printer ink", "baby clothes", etc. Note that if you are big on privacy this add-on probably isn't for you. They clearly have access to what you're searching and clicking. As an alternative you can install in a browser that you don't use for normal day to day browsing and be perfectly fine.
Topcashback (Referral / non-referral) is a very simple site that earns you a percentage cash back when you shop popular online retailers through their site. Yes you do need to make purchases to earn, but if you do what I do and only buy things that you would have anyway, it's free money. They're partnered with thousands of retailers including popular ones like Amazon, Best Buy, Old Navy and Target. In addition to cash back, you can also find coupon codes which will give you instant savings. I buy my dog's food from petsmart.com. When I visit Petsmart via Topcashback I get 7% cash back. 7% of my mastiff's food bill is a nice chunk of change! Cashback sites are notoriously picky with giving credit for a qualifying purchase, so make sure that you follow their guidelines. That includes not using ad-blockers, cookie blockers or navigating away from the retailers website after clicking through from Topcashback.
Mobile Performance Meter (Google play store) is an Android app that runs in the background of your phone and tests cell reception in your area. It only pays 20-40 cents a day based on your area and does not work at all in some areas. But once you install it, you never have to do anything but redeem once you get enough points. Every month or so you'll get an easy survey that pays $1.50. There's no Paypal payment option, but they do have lots of available gift cards.
General tips:
Good luck and don't be afraid to message me with any questions!

There's Coversationally (about $5 a month when you use your google voice assistant 5 days a month), mobile performance meter (nets me $3 a month by doing absolutely nothing) ref link non ref link, and UpVoice (you add onto google chrome for $5 a month as long as you visit participating sites). Total about $13 a month. I'm sure there's more though!
Sure, here's a non-ref link.

I've made quite a bit of spending money over the last year and a half with the websites/apps listed below. It's definitely no replacement for a job, but much of it is either passive or something you can do while watching tv, playing games or redditing at work. Some of them having gaming credits as payout options.

Here are a bunch of alternatives to PerkTV
InstaGC
InstaGC [Ref] / [Non-Ref] - You can watch videos HERE semi-passively. Play the video and minimize it and the points will rack up. Expect about $1 a day from doing this. The playlist will end after 4-6 hours or so and you will have to refresh and press play again. You can also go to their AdWall - EngageMe.TV section and earn points by playing videos there. If you refer people, you will earn 10% of what they earn for LIFE.

EarnHoney
EarnHoney [Ref] / [Non-Ref] - Play videos and earn points. Go to "Buzz TV" or "Watch" section and play the video and let the points rack up. If the tabs are in focus, you will earn more than if you minimize them. You can make up to 30 HD (Honey Dollars) per hour on good days. 100 HD is approximately $1. If you refer people, you will earn 10% of what they earn for life!
SwagBucks
SwagBucks gives out 10% of what your referrals make for LIFE. When they earn 500 SB, you earn 50 SB!
Swagbucks [Ref] / [Non-Ref] - I play all the apps on my phone. You can search them up on the Play Store or take a look at all of them here: http://www.swagbucks.com/mobile.
I also go to NCrave section and play all the Tours. I can minimize them while they run all the videos. This requires you to interact with it every 15 minutes or so but if you're on the computer a lot, this is no big deal.
I install a GreasyFork script to be able to keep track of all the points I make per day with Swagbucks. Install Tampermonkey first then install Sbx Dashboard. You will be able to see your progress under "My SB" section.
There is a 12% discount every month on $25 gift cards so its best to redeem them once every month to maximize your points.

G2A
Here is how G2A referral system works - http://i.imgur.com/oHjScZx.png
G2A [Ref] / [Non-Ref] - This site sells digital games for a really discounted price. Whether or not they get the keys legitimately is another topic. Their referral system is REALLY amazing because not only do you get referrals from the person you refer, but you get points from the people they refer as well. They also use a cookie system so if they don't buy something from G2A immediately but do later on, you will still get credit for their purchase.

Bing Rewards
Bing Rewards - This is simple, you search stuff on Bing and you get points to redeem Amazon gift cards (and other things that I don't really care for). To make this passive, set your search engine to Bing in Google Chrome so that every time you search for things in the URL, it'll use Bing search engine and you get credited for it. Do this for your phone as well to maximize your points.
Trick #1: Use this extension "User-Agent Switcher" - https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/user-agent-switcher/dbclpoekepcmadpkeaelmhiheolhjflj
It will trick Bing Rewards to thinking you are using Microsoft Edge which unlocks bonus quizzes and you get more points under the "Browse & Earn - Earn up to 150 points per month, 5 points per hour, for actively browsing with Microsoft Edge. Counter updates daily." category.
Trick #2: If you do not like Bing search results and would rather see Google results WHILE still earning Bing points, here is what you can do (Make Bing default search engine first). Install Tampermonkey chrome extension. Then, install this script - https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/11308-bing-to-google which redirects all Bing searches to Google. And you're done. Unfortunately, this cannot be done for your phone.

Screenwise Trends Panel
Screenwise Trends Panel - This program is operated by Google and is actually 100% passive. They collect data through your browser / phone and in return, pay you up to $3 every week ($1 per phone / computer or laptop / tablet). You have to install a Chrome extension for computer or app for tablet and phone. Once you install and sign in with your account, you're done. Everything works in the background without maintenance.
Proof of Payment: http://i.imgur.com/sC0GE15.png
PerkTV / ViggleTV
PerkTV / ViggleTV - Everyone knows about the apps but not many people know that they have desktop versions. Simply go to Perk.TV and Viggle.TV, login to your account, and start playing the videos to earn points. There are captchas every 3-4 hours or so. You can install their other apps such as Perk eSports, Perk Word Search, Perk Pop Quiz and play them passively on your phone. Search them in the app store! I recommend heading over to /r/perktv to learn more.
Trick #1: I found that disabling Flash for Chrome makes my videos last much longer. To do this, type "chrome://plugins" into your URL and press Disable for Adobe Flash Player.
NadaMobile
NADAMobile - Watch a video, earn 4 points. Simple as that. 1000 points = $1. You must sign in with Facebook but don't worry, they don't post anything with your account.

Gomez Peer Zone
Gomez PEER Zone [Ref] [Non-Ref] - You download an application and run it 24/7. There is no limit to how many computers you can run 1 account on so I have 5 computers running it. The most you can get in a month is $45 or $1.50 per day but I only get $0.50 per day or $15 per month. This application basically runs in the background using up your computer resources to do some tasks. You can learn more about this here: http://www.gomezpeerzone.com/faq/ From my experience, it is safe.
Per Day Earnings: $0.50
TLDR: Download app, run 24/7, get money
Mobile Performance Meter
Mobile Performance Meter [Non-Ref] - This app monitors your Android phone activities and pays you for it. I've gotten about $2.50 per week from it and I don't mind them collecting my data at all. But if you do, this method is not for you.
Per Day Earnings: $0.36
TLDR: Install MPM on phone, get $2.50 weekly or $0.36 per day
Media Insiders Mobile
Media Insiders Mobile [Non-Ref] - This app is also another data monitor. Install it on your phone and you get money. I get about $1 week.
Per Day Earnings: $0.14
TLDR: Install Media Insiders Mobile on phone, get $1 weekly or $0.14 per day
AppOptix
AppOptix [Non-Ref] - Another data monitor. Install on phone and get money. About $0.75 per week.
Per Day Earnings: $0.10
TLDR: Install AppOptix on Android Phone, get ~$0.75 per week or ~$0.10 per day
Panel App
Panel App [Non-Ref] - Same as AppOptix, Media Insiders, Mobile Performance Meter, Screenwise etc. Just another data monitor. $0.25 per week
Per Day Earnings: $0.03
TLDR: Don't need
