Native Clipboard is a great open-source app with Root/Xposed support - it provides easy and seamless access to anything you copied by simply double clicking the desired text field then choosing a clip to automatically paste it. The clips can be: * Swiped away to delete them. * Long clicked to view the whole text. * Pinned to prevent deleting (Using the 3-dot menu).
Saves a copy of the last number of things you had in your clipboard, and allows you to bring up a list of them in any text field and paste clips in. You can also pin clips so they never go away if you have something you regularly have to paste. Like an address, phone number, or a dank meme.
I use Native Clipboard for clipboard history; rather handy. However, it's likely that the gallery wasn't actually copying the pictures to the system clipboard in the first place, and it probably only copied the filenames, not the actual files, so they were never "on the clipboard" to begin with.
I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for (and I don't know what you mean by simulating the ENTER key), but you might want to check out Native Clipboard. It's a sweet app that makes life easier for someone who copies and pastes a lot.

I'm on Android and I find Native Clipboard very easy to use with a really simple interface. I've tried a few other clipboard apps and so far this one is the most straightforward.
I'm a little late to the party but I would recommend Native Clipboard, it has quite nice features (such as double tapping any text box and your Clipboard drawer shows up for you to insert anything) and is using material design.
Oh, and also it's free and open source. There is a pro version but the feature it adds in the pro aren't that revolutionary and the free version is more than enough for a clipboard manager to be useful as it is. (the pro version is even in a state of "unreleased"...)
There's also alot of customization that you can do on your own such as background color, clipped items color, pinned clips color, etc etc.
I don't use the included third party "clipboard" keyboard tho, but you can simply disable that also. There may be also a downside, so let's talk about that : it requires access to Accessibility for the double tap to open the clipboard manager's feature. Minor, but it should be mentioned.
With the amount of customization and the fact that it's a clipboard that stays out of the way, I feel like in the moment, it's the best clipboard manager in the Play Store - to each their own taste tho.
:)
-Edit : here's an exemple while editing this on my phone, if you're curious
Btw Android users, you can install Native Clipboard and pin this in the manager to access it anywhere by just double tapping the text input area, like so. Quick and easy comment ass-stomping!
Instead of Clip Stack , I suggest "Native Clipboard Manager" :https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dhm47.nativeclipboard&hl=en
Sadly, on Q both are quite useless...
EDIT: seems you use both? How come?
So I got 2 new answers for you.
Native Clipboard Manager Allows you to use the Globe icon (language switch) as a way to bring up the clipboard, and choose the text to paste. Works ok.
G-Board just added cop/paste buttons here
Neat indeed. Admittedly I rarely use it since I use Native Clipboard for clipboard management and slide on the space bar for cursor control, but it's nice they added it.
This is a clipboard manager that integrates with Gboard, and with others it can be accessed via the language button. You can pin pastes.

You were right, it wasn't showing up when searching the Play Store. But, it could still be found from a Google search.
Looks like I've installed Clipboard Actions as a replacement but upon using that a month or so ago it wasnt the same. I watched a few of the videos they all seem a bit different and in the way.
This one looks close but still in the way I havent tested it out yet though.
I am using the app Native Keyboard to get around this issue, and as a bonus it keeps previously copied text so you can paste multiple copies until you want to clear the clipboard.
Native Clipboard Manager, save the history of your clipboard
I use Native Clipboard Manager app to handle my copying. Not sure how similar it is to LGs methods.
Native Clipboard: A neat clipboard manager with a floating window UI. Why is this not a native feature in Android?
FloatNote: This one lets you create notes during a phone call, which can be very helpful if you have to write down something very quick.
Fliktu: Fliktu allows you to share stuff faster and from places you couldn't before. It's worth checking out.
This is not native to GBoard, but it works really well in tandem with it. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dhm47.nativeclipboard
I have found Native Clipboard to be effective. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dhm47.nativeclipboard&hl=en
how does it compare with https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dhm47.nativeclipboard ?
edit: legit question, but thanks for the answer, I guess

Tl;dw: Use Native Clipboard. He doesn't talk about anything else.
You could try Native Clipboard. It used to be an xposed module but it works without xposed too now.
Sadly Google plans to ruin clipboard manager apps, as they won't be able to monitor your clipboard in most cases :

Please consider starring them and optionally write something.
If you want to have a working clipboard manager that will work on Android Q too, you can use a keyboard that has clipboard manager built in, like Gboard. If you don't have Android Q, I used "Native Clipboard" app:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dhm47.nativeclipboard&hl=enThe good thing about it, is that it can show up by just double pressing on any text field, of any app, and you can make it paste by selecting an item from what's shown. Also can pin items. Sadly I could't find a way to change the order other than sorting, though.
You could try Native Clipboard Manager. It's got a couple of different ways to use it, works quite well for me.
