Agreed, OP use an app like this on your android, or MP3tag on Windows, and clean up those ID3 tags. Invest a few hours at a time going through your collection and you'll never have to worry about it again
Are you manually adding album covers from Blackplayer EX or using tag editors like Star tag editor?
Try changing covers using Star tag editor.
On Android you may try Star Music Tag Editor but I guess you won't be able to do it in batch, I used a desktop application for something similar years ago, if that helps.
I had this happen to me before. What I did was I downloaded Star Music Tag Editor and changed all the files to normal names. (I know it can be a pain if you have a lot, but it's worth to do because the files won't capitalize any more after the name change. I also recommend checking out this material design music player. It's called Phonograph Music Player and it's very pretty. A super nice music player in general, but the reason why you should get it is because it also had tag editing inside of it. So instead of getting the Star Music Tag Editor, you et a tag editor and a beautiful music player with Phonograph!
Convert the og dior from YouTube to mp3
Download this app and find the music file in the app
Change whatever you wanna change e.g. the cover or the name
Go into your phone's regular files (this is on samsung btw so if you're on another type of phone try and find the equivalent), and move that music file into a different folder
Then when importing the song the cover and new name should show

Offline songs? pls, try 3rd party apps. try searching ' Music tag ' editor on the App store

Did you transfer new songs in a same folder?
Also check this. If you have multiple song in same album, And if you change Album art of 1 image. It sets that album art for songs.
Try clearing cache of play music or try other music player apps. You can also use Sstar tag music editor to correct those album covers.
I don't have any device running on lollipop. so, i am not sure. But, If you uninstall that music app. And reinstall it, Now when you open it & try to edit songs. It will show this popup , where you can allow the app to access sd card.
If you don't want to root. Just add those songs in internal storage. It will allow you to edit those songs from internal storage. Also inbuilt file manager has the permission of editing sd card. (may be inbuilt music player also has that permission). So, use them. You can try Star tag music editor. This app may help you editing tags of multiple albums.
Make sure the labels are right on your PC, correct if not, then retransfer. Or you can download an ID3 tag editor on your phone and edit the tags that way. Recommend something like the following:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.music.star.startag
Star Music Tag Editor works nice, but I don't know if it's compatible with FLAC files.
Since you mentioned tag editing from your computer, you also might want to check out Mp3tag. It's fantastic for editing multiple files' tags at once and it has its own API. I'd highly recommend downloading it if you don't already have a program like that installed.
Star Music Tag Editor has good reviews for Android.
For PC, MP#TAG looks like it may fit the bill.
(No personal experience with these. Back when I used to save my music, I would use my music manager to edit all the metadata.)
If you download the single the album is Crescendo but if you buy/download the 5 year anniversary compilation they are all grouped as one album or If you download it from the compilation then you can use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.music.star.startag&hl=en to edit the album on the song
You can still edit the files on iTunes...if you're on a Mac just use Android File Transfer. Or, if you want to edit them on your phone, this app works great for me: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.music.star.startag
I personally use this https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.music.star.startag , it allows you to edit alot of info and it also fetches album art from online, so its pretty good, would recommend.
This tag editor for android.

You can edit in batch using free version.
I have a fix for this problem!
It is not an issue with Shuttle, it is instead an issue with Android (I also own a Moto G4 and encountered the same issue).
The problem occurs when your music has embedded album art, in PNG format and/or over 600x600 resolution.
You should remove the album art and replace it with a lower resolution/JPG version the music using a program such as Mp3tag for PC or Star Tag Editor for Android.
Hope this helps, Richard.

I think this app has a weird 'bug' where you can't have songs without album names tho
idk if fixed
If you are using android then you can use apps like this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.music.star.startag
Install this, chose a song, apply album art, save. Rinse and repeat for all the songs in the album.
Star Music Tag Editor is the best one I've used so far:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.music.star.startag&hl=en
A similar ID3 tag editor with album art support.
It's an app i found that is able to change tags for music files on android. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.music.star.startag
