Yeah, it's real. I mean, unless their account got hacked. Was browsing the reviews and I noticed Stitcher's replies referred to reviewers' problems as "alleged." I thought that was weird - why use THAT word? why even put that in there? - but then I noticed this one! There are a few others but I think this one's the worst. Most of their replies are neutral in tone but there really shouldn't be ANY like this. Unprofessional and unreasonable. You can page through them here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stitcher.app&hl=en
I had been thinking about finding another podcast app (Stitcher mostly does what I want and it certainly carries lots of good content but it does leave a lot to be desired) but this makes me feel like maybe I should stop merely thinking about it.
There are a couple ways. If you download the Stitcher Radio app from the Google Play store, you can just search for Tower Junkies and find us there. Or you can download the Google Play Music app, search "Tower Junkies" and subscribe there.
I personally like Stitcher. There is also an iOS app if you want to give it a try before switching. No idea how the Android and iOS versions compare, though I suspect they will be comparable.

I use routines for when I go to bed and wake up. At bedtime it tells me tomorrow's weather, my calendar events, and turns on do not disturb. In the morning I've set it up to remove it from do not disturb, tells me the weather, my commute, calendar events, and plays the news.
For podcasts I use Stitcher
After using Stitcher for a very long time I recently purchased Pocket Casts for $4. It's well worth the money.
You'll first need a podcatcher. If you're on iOS, a really basic podcatcher is made by Apple: just search for the "podcasts" app on the App Store. If you're on Android, you'll have to find an option from someone else (some guides I found online suggest Google Play Music has podcasting functionality built in, but I tried it myself and it didn't have it), Stitcher is supposed to be a good app for beginners. Stitcher also seems to have an iOS app, if you'd prefer that. I personally use Pocket Casts, which I would highly recommend, but it does have small one-time cost associated with it, so it's probably not the best choice for someone unsure if they'll like podcasts.
From there, whichever app you go with, it should have a search option. Search for the podcast you want, hit subscribe, and start downloading episodes to listen.
I'm not certain for Android, as I mostly listen on iOS (using an app called Overcast).
I've heard good things about the Stitcher app for android (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stitcher.app), not sure if anyone else can chime in with some recommendations?
Do you mean for your phone/tablet or PC? You said "desktop manager" in the title but then mention android in your description so I'm just a little confused.
For Windows I can't really comment, I use Rhythmbox on Ubuntu though. For android I use Stitcher since I already have in installed for radio... It's pretty decent.
Use Stitcher. It has the podcasts you are looking for, and it's free.
I use Sticher for my podcasts. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stitcher.app&hl=en
I like the Christopher Titus podcast.
Joe Rogan Experience "Hello freak bitches" Has & talks with comedians, scientists, journalists, health, and anything else really. Great discussions about many topics.
Some I recommend...
JRE #633 - Alex Winter
Shame Smith, the Co-Founder and CEO of VICE (Yes that VICE) he has been a guest three times, this is his first appearance JRE #164 - Shane Smith, Brian Redband
All about gaming, twitch, and Joe Rogan getting his mind blown with Jordan Gilbert
JRE #651 - Jordan Gilbert (c9n0thing)
JRE #325 - Dan Carlin
Dan Carlins Hardcore History
An amazing history podcast, Dan Carlin has that...voice and an amazing way of story telling. His podcasts are about 3-4 hours long so many are broken into "parts". He might take a month or two to release an episode.
Some to seriously listen too...
Mongols Empire, seriously you will be amazed, entertained, and mind blown
The Roman Empire
All about World War I
"Radiolab is a show about curiosity. Where sound illuminates ideas, and the boundaries blur between science, philosophy, and human experience." Great story telling and music revolving around a topic such as ESCAPE!, Games, Sleep, Deception, ect. Here is the episode archive and can listen right from their website.
Podcasts Apps*
Ways you can listen to the awesome podcasts above and many many others
Stitcher Radio for Podcasts (Google Play / iOS)
Player FM Podcast App Google Play Only
Overcast (It's free but has a feature unlock for $4.99) App Store Only
Pocket Casts My favorite, it's $3.99 but I like that I can "follow" podcasts. You can have it set up so they download when on WiFi and charing so you're good to go on the go (Google Play / App Store
Other notable ones:
StarTalk Radio with Neil Degrasse Tyson,
Joe Rogan Experience "Hello freak bitches" I only tend to listen to his podcasts when they aren't comedians (except Bert Kreischer), and nothing MMA related. I really enjoy the scientists, journalists, health, and anything else related people. Great discussions about many topics.

Well, there is a way to listen through Google Play Music. I am an iPhone user, so I'm not 100% sure how to access them through there, but I know it's possible. Like iTunes. (Come to think of it, I should make sure my show is coming through on Google Play... Thanks for the heads up! lol)
Then there's two other options that come to mind off of the top of my head. There's Stitcher. It's the free option and I know that Irrational Fears, among others are on there.
Then the not-so-free, but top-of-the-line option is Pocket Casts. It's just the best-of-the-best when it comes to third party Podcast apps in general. And it's across platforms too. That's a huge plus for me, personally.
Hope that helps!
I would recomend Stitcher - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stitcher.app
