What is Reddit's opinion of Uploader for Imgur?

I believe all the remaining ones are unmaintained and broken at this point. I used this one in the past, but AFAIK it doesn’t allow you to upload to an account.

Otherwise, to minimize Imgur community exposure with Opengur, you can login once, remove the icon from your home screen and exclusively “share” from other apps, like the Gallery. I can’t remember getting any unsolicited notifications (like the cake day thingy) from it that way on an upload-only alt account.

I have no idea if it's affiliated or not but it doesn't require login or anything. It works great for me at least.

You can share right to it and it will auto upload and have a one click copy link.

Yeah I use this app and it's awesome for sharing images to imgur. You don't even need an account of anything, you just press share from your gallery, and then copy/paste the link that pops up. Simple.

Uploader for Imgur is great if you need an image host but don't want to log into Imgur in order to upload an image.

If you're using an Android device, you can download Uploader for Imgur. You can just press share on any image on your phone, select that app and it will give you a link straight away. No sign up, no accounts, just share and copy paste.

How I do it...

1. Install Uploader for Imgur which adds an 'imgur' link to your phone's share menu and makes it extremely easy to upload any image.
2. Take a screenshot.
3. Share the screenshot, select the above imgur app to get a shareable link.
4. Paste links into a post.

You can also get fancy by uploading your screenshots into the Device Art Generator which is linked in the sidebar or modifying your screenshots in Photoshop.

With regards to scaling the image, I wouldn't worry about it. People access reddit through numerous platforms and browsers and some will auto-resize or allow users to drag to resize easily.

Uploader for imgur, it was made long before the official imgur app and out it's sole function is to easily upload photos to image, makes shit easy to share without having to use the rest of imgur

Okay then the caps are good. It's no longer necessary for you to do but I use this for image hosting, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.moosen.imgur&hl=en. I take a picture then share the picture to the app then copy the image address then reply to reddit with the image address.

Though this is a common feature in other reddit clients, sync does not support this.

However, you can use Uploader for imgur to quickly upload an image anonymously and get the share link in less than a minute.

If you own an Android, just download this app, screenshot whatever you want, and then press share and select the app. It was instantly give you a link to copy paste without ever making an Imgur account, or even having to ever use Imgur.

Also, as imgur mobile app is horrendous, use this app.

Does the uploading to imgur, non-album link, then gives you option to quickly copy link to clipboard. Also remembers all your uploads.

Download this app. All you do is go to Album, select the photo you want to share, press the share button, select the imgur app you just downloaded and it will upload it for you and then give you the option to copy paste the link at the top right of the screen. Then all you do is paste the link anywhere you want to share it.

I'm personally partial to Uploader for Imgur. Next-to-no interface, just select it in the share menu and it uploads and copies to your clipboard. It's basically what imgur used to be.

This one lets you upload and keeps track of what you've uploaded but I don't think you can log in. Haven't tried it myself, though
