Yes, it's called RPCS3. It runs all the God of War games mostly well. All the remasters run perfect, even on slower CPU's and are marked as playable. God of War 3 and ascension still have some minor issues as well as performance being not up to their standard for playable. However you should be able to run them close to their standard 30-ish framerate on a ryzen 3600 or similar 6 core for example. The games have an unlocked framerate, so a 9900K and other faster CPU's can get close to 60 FPS.

Here's the full interview:
https://kotaku.com/why-god-of-war-took-five-years-to-make-1825653009
Here's the specific quote;
Jason: So how much of the future game plan do you have mapped out in your head?
Cory: Five games.
Jason: So that’s 25 years? Is that what you’re prepared for?
Cory: No. I want to figure out how to make these things faster, man.
So that comes out to ᛚᛃᛟᛋ ᛒᛚᛁᚾᛞᚨ ᚨᛞ ᚢᚠᛖᚱᛞᚷᚨᚾ ᚷᛗᛞᛁ.
The first word is 'light', Ljös. The rest seems to be nonsense - Ljös blinda ad uvferdgan (or could be ufehrdgan, vfehrdgan, vferdgan, none translate though) gmdi.

If you do each rune individually, it reads as;
( I separated words separated by /, and double meanings as (meaning/meaning). )
"water/harvest/inheritance/sun fertility/water/ice/necessity/gift/(ash/divine) (ash/divine)/day strength/wealth/man/rid/day/gift/(ash/divine)/need gift/man/day/ice"
It may be a message from Laufey, her instructions for what to do when she dies. Ice, gift, and ash/divine are mentioned multiple times. Inheritance could be the sedir that she passed on to Artreus/Loki.
A note, also, that the ᛟ rune is also read /shown as the greek rune for 'war' (in nordic, this is úfríðr) that we see in the original GoW games.
Here's a good dictionary that lets you go back and forth between English and Norse, though.
Cory had something else in mind for Kratos and gow.
> For what it's worth, God of War II's Cory Barlog has something else in mind entirely. "Cory Barlog talked about Kratos becoming Death", says Asmussen. "He pretty much becomes the Grim Reaper at the end of the game and his blades become sickles. They're both incredibly good ideas, but you need a director to be passionate about the story and understand it intimately.

And i would still love that vision to become true to be honest.

I'm going to quote a piece of text from an article. Spoiler warning obviously:
>Much of God of War is concerned with the war between the Aesir, led by Odin, and the giants, whose guardian in Midgard turns out to have been Kratos’ wife/Atreus’ mother, Faye. Led by Odin’s son Thor, the Aesir wiped out the giants and chased them through the World Tree gate into Jotunheim, where they slaughtered them en masse.
>One of the final shots of the story is a devastating scene of carnage viewed from atop a mountain in Jotunheim, where Kratos and Atreus see giant corpses strewn as far as the eye can see. Atreus assumes that means that the Aesir were successful in their genocide of the giants, but of course, it seems just as likely that somewhere in that realm, some giants remain.
>Safe money says a handful of giants escaped the slaughter, and that at some point in the future, Atreus and Kratos are going to get a visit at some point from someone who knew Faye
Wow, never actually expected to receive such a generous offer. It's a struggle to tell you not to give me your hard earned money.
I'm not sure what to say, a simple thanks is definitely not enough.
So I'll make you a deal. In exchange for your generosity, I'll donate to a charity/good cause of your choice. Even if it's just bit here and there every week or two, I'll hold myself to donate the same total amount.

I’m on mobile and at lunch but yes, the game Out of This World, was one that inspired him in his career. This is my last reply though. I left a random comment saying Kojima had some Western inspiration. I’m not sure why that is offensive to you and why you feel the need to be so hostile but I’m out. Take it as you being right if you want. Don’t care. Have a good weekend.
Yeah, we'll learn more about his past years i think, but if you havent heard that this might interest you:

The standard price for new PS5 and Xbox Series X games is $70. The PS5 digital version would still be $70 without the PS4 version, same as the disc version: https://www.amazon.com/PS5-God-Ragnar%C3%B6k-Launch-PlayStation-5/dp/B0B6228XBM/
Do you recommend any books in particular to read about this type of mythology? I did read Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman. I thought it was good but I thought they would get into more details about origins and who people were. Do you have any other recommendations or even websites I could check out
Yeah, and it was written by Cory’s father: https://www.amazon.com/God-War-Official-Novelization-Barlog/dp/1789090148/ref=mp_s_a_1_16?crid=33S441CMGVJZO&keywords=god+of+war&qid=1658940412&sprefix=god+%2Caps%2C180&sr=8-16
And as others said, the audiobook is voiced by Mimir’s voice actor.
The book is a great option. I'm a slow reader, and I breezed through it relatively quickly. Not the best work of writing, but it is thorough and is a good way to catch up on the story so far. https://www.amazon.com/God-War-Official-Novelization-Barlog/dp/1789090148/ref=sr\_1\_1?crid=1YQV2DGICRD01&keywords=god+of+war+book&qid=1657127060&sprefix=god+of+war+book%2Caps%2C69&sr=8-1

I use the ViGEmBus driver that comes with DS4Windows. Recently I also started using HidHide, which hides the actual DS4 controller from apps to avoid double-detection with the virtual controller. Both are free and easy to install. Getting the most out of DS4Windows has a bit of a learning curve however on account of its plethora of options.
Cronos is actually 500 meters exactly, not that it's too big of a difference, this link talks about it more https://www.slideshare.net/robotsex/the-titans-creating-living-breath-levels-in-god-of-war-iii It's on slide 15, but good job making the comparison and chart, it looks good.

Been doing some digging, and the best that I can find is this mug, https://www.amazon.sa/-/en/God-War-Scene-Ceramic-Mug/dp/B08FNMK6GH, and it is not even in stock
Check the quickstart guide and FAQ on their website.
In short, you either need a cracked PS3 that you can use to transfer your digital or disc games over, or you need a compatible Blu-Ray drive that is on their list if you want to copy the games over on your PC. Blu ray drives are cheap these days, so if you ahve a big collection and don't wnat to bother with cracking your console, it can be a good option
This is why backwards compatibility needs to be expanded. I don’t care how different the PS3 is, that’s Sonys fault anyway. If a few people in their free time can get a working emulator to play those games on PC, then a multi-billion dollar company can do that for their paying customers.
Sony has been just so disgusting and anti consumer about this since the PS3, and amplified from the PS4 to now. I’ve never owned an XBOX, but what they’re doing is way better for consumers.
If we had real backwards compatibility we’d be able to play the remasters that already exist. But instead we’re at the mercy of Sony, who doesn’t care. If they ever bring these games to PS5 you can bet the’ll make you pay for them for a third time.
I know you probably want the physical version, but worst case scenario you can go here https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/god-of-war/ and get the game 10% off. Amazon does 20% off if you have prime but they're probably sold out right now.
If you think I edited the source code of the page, you're wrong. Here's the link. If it hasn't been removed yet, you can see it... https://www.instant-gaming.com/es/7325-buy-key-steam-god-of-war/
Fair enough. Thanks for answering.
It's a cool mug...id buy it but I think it's unlicensed. Or I know that lootcrate.com use unlicensed products.
Id love to support cool knock offs...but I can't. As someone whose had his ip stolen and used by others without my permision for their gain. Most people don't realise the damage unlicensed stuff does to the artist who often is struggling even when they have high profile work.
Still a cool mug.
Here's another site of really unhappy people.
I'm posting this because your epic mug post might make people sign up for a service which has many issues they should be aware of first...
Yeah its real and its a canon source https://www.amazon.com/God-War-Legends-Sony-Studios/dp/1506715524 Aswell as some pdfs google allows you to read https://books.google.com/books/about/God_of_War_Lore_and_Legends.html?id=FUf9DwAAQBAJ&printsec=frontcover&source=kp_read_button&hl=en
mhmm. sure you did make it?
totally not a generic prop off amazon or other merch/prop sites... /s
I agree. I prefer to have original characters. Getting Django Unchained is so much better than a remake of good, bad, and ugly with a black guy replacing Clint Eastwod. Getting a movie like Atomic Blonde is so much better than a female James Bond.
Harry Potter fans have talked so much about Harry Potter's eye color. So if fans can do that without being racist then surely they can discuss black Hermonie without being racist.
In regards to making a horror game with norse myth, it does mesh with some themes. While the creatures of greek mythology are a lot about getting dudes to fall in love with fair maiden creatures (eg harpies, sirens) and explaining natural phenomens (eg minotaur), norse mythologucal creatures focus more on fear of the dark and unknown. Both still have buttloads of family drama between gods though. Sweden is also so far from equator that when we get winter we see no sun. When we leave at 7 in the morning for work there is no sun and when we leave work at 5 there is no sun. To me norse mythological creatures mesh very well with horror. There is actually an RPG with amazing artwork by a swedish dude about just this thing: Vaesen which is based on the artwork book with same name. I haven't played it but from what I understand it is basically like Cthulhu RPG but set in sweden and based on the fear from everyday life rather than cosmic horror. Its made by a swedish dude that also made a similar book about norse gods with same artwork style.
Bottom line, I personally think norse creatures (at least from folk tales) mesh well with horror.
No problem, it's always a pleasure to discuss with fellow fans! I agree, hate could be the only thing he remembers, but in the end it's still a feeling right ? The novels I mentioned are the novelizations of the first and second games. To my knowledge, they're only available on Amazon. But you might find summaries on the wiki or some other fandom site.

In my case I couldn't really solve it. It seems my controller doesn't provide the console as many joystick positions as the game wants (cheap controller, to be quick). I have this controller: https://www.amazon.es/dp/B07MCGVKHD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_MS2F9Q2D7S5AH6R7XDGV
My "solution" was PSP emulation, nothing fancy.
EDIT: sorry for taking that long, I've been busy with the start of the semester
Cory Barlog who is the God of this GOW installment said in an interview that all the mythologies were to be considered different "universes" in a multiverse theory way, and not as all on one earth. So Midgard where we play in game (which is Earth in Norse mythology) is exactly that; the Norse pantheon's Earth. The Greek pantheon is considered another realm, however not one of the 9 realms of the norse pantheon universe. Everybody confused now? 🤣
Mimir explains in game how Tyr was able to travel between realms using the Unity Stone, and also explains (as well as the wooden mural in Odin's chamber in Helheim) how he used it to travel to the realms of the Greek, Egyptian, and Mayan (maybe another one too?).
I recently picked up a copy of God of War: Lore and Legends and it explained it pretty well.

There are three GOW novels. There’s a novel for God of War (2005), God of War 2, and God of War (2018). I assume you want to read the novel for the latest game, God of War 2018. You can find in it on Amazon here.

This one isn't 32" but I use it for reference since it's is mostly what you described. I think the original retail price was ~$2,000. Unless you get the top luxury specs for HDR TVs, the prices usually range from around $500 to $1200. I would say that most 4K 144Hz monitors still range higher. I would understand if your argument was for a monitor no more than 60Hz because a console isn't going to achieve FPS much higher than 50, let alone 30 on a 4K screen. Of course, it all comes down to how much you're willing to spend and whether you want to sit up close in a chair or lay back on a couch with some friends. Speaking for myself, I gravitate towards a monitor simply because I play more PC and it's more convenient in my current living situation.
People with her kind of psychosis don't perceive the world the same way. If you watch the Dev Diaries they explain a lot. She sees enemies appear out of nowhere but if someone were to follow her, they would see them before she did. The appearance of enemies and the world is how we see it.
The entrance to Hel and that land would be guarded so having them appear doesn't make sense. There are corpses a plenty of people like her who have tried the very thing she does.
I have the HyperX Cloud Stinger Gaming Headset

Some phones it seems it wont work on because they need to run Googles ARCore which is broken on some 8.0+ androids. I tried to install it through a Java compiler but with no luck.

This PS3 game offers GoW1, 2, 3, Chains of Olympus, and Ghost of Sparta. The latter two are available from DLC code vouchers included in the packaged game case, so if you do buy it make sure you buy it NEW. On the off chance the codes still don't work you can contact Sony support. Obviously you'll also need a PS3 to play it.
Never played Ascension, which isn't included.
