For me, at the end of 100 days, I'd like to see myself wanting to be more fit and active.
What this would look like to me: get outside in the fresh air daily if only for a little stroll; do bodyweight exercises regularly (I love http://darebee.com/ for super-accessible plans of all types that anyone can do); use my rebounder regularly.
All of these things I know I should be doing now, and have done bits of at one point or another. But eating well and being active at the same time and consistently is something I've definitely struggled with. Maybe by the end of 100 days I'll feel like the type of person who wants to do these things. Here's hoping and good luck to the rest of you!
For me it was all about gadgets. So I'd browse either Amazon, or This Is Why I'm Broke and find cool shit. For really big milestones I'll choose something that I really want (new laptop, new phone, that sort of thing). It's usually something that I don't immediately need, but really want. So if I hit those milestones, I get to really reward myself.
Look at that, over 40 readers so far! That's way more than 12! ;D
I'm Laura, 29, and I live in Ohio, USA with my bf and his cat, Oscar. We have been on keto for just shy of 5 months. I'd say the cat's not included in that, but he is an obligate carnivore... ;3 I've not intentionally cheated since starting, but I've kicked myself out of ketosis twice thanks to some sickeningly sweet flavored vodka (lookin' at you, Smirnoff Cinna-Sugar). Talk about keto hangovers, haha!
I've been dreading the holidays, though I've been good so far through Halloween. It will be good to have some extra accountability during the winter season. I've been collecting recipes for keto versions of my favorite holiday treats, which I'm hoping to share once I've tested/perfected them.
(e) I'm also active on MFP, and my food/exercise diary is open to friends. Add me! http://www.myfitnesspal.com/profile/dragonling
I found this website today, http://darebee.com and plan to start tomorrow. They do daily "dares" and you can create a fitness plan. I've just been walking because I've been pretty sedentary the last few months, so I really want to start some strength training.
I've also found quite a few bodyweight workout routines that are extremely challenging but comprehensive. Check out the daily workout from greatist.com and these cool (FREE) programs from darebee
YES! Total "coworker ugh" happened today. Coworker had a bag of these motherfuckers that I loved so much pre-keto, obviously before realizing that sugar is <em>ACTUALLY POISON</em> and stuff. Anyway, coworker walks to my cube mate's desk and sets a few on her desk, I can hear the pure excitement from their voices just to be nomming on candy. I started to prepare to reject her offering before she even made it to my desk. She eventually makes it my way and I politely decline them, without even turning around. Saying, "Oh, no thank you, Coworker." But there it was, the full hand of candy, refusing to surrender. Luckily my cube-mate shouted "I'll have her's if she's not taking them!" So I said "Alright, throw them in my desk drawer, cube-mate can have them." Luckily that was enough for her to just throw 'em and go, all I needed! So I let them sit in said drawer until the next day. Just to prove to myself that I wouldn't eat them. In the morning I placed them on cube-mate's desk :)
Coworkers will never fail to "ugh" us. That's kind of the main reason for their existence. Honestly I cannot figure out why they believe this but actions lead me to believe it is 100% true.
Drink lots of water if you are going to drink hard alcohol. The dehydration is a killer. Also having some broth before bed helps to bring up your salt and other electrolytes, but I haven't found a sure fire way to not have the hangover yet. Here's a list of alcohols and their carb counts:

Edit: My drink of choice is vodka with diet coke with a twist of lemon. Some people like diet crystal light but I find it kind of gross. Also, some types of artifical sweetner can slow weight loss. I find splenda doesn't cause this for myself so usually go with splenda diet coke. YMMV. Good luck on the good time. :) OH! and also, I usually find that I lose about 2-3 pounds the next day, just from dehydration, so take that into account when you weight yourself. It's a temporary victory and you'll usually go back up the dat after that.
I'm trying to get back to doing short daily workouts during the weekday. typically I do 6-8 minutes of speedrope, and then a few sets of calisthenics that I grab from a Darebee workout.
Did this one today: http://darebee.com/workouts/push-squat-repeat-workout.html
This one is a favorite for a quick round of kettle bells: http://darebee.com/workouts/k-sculpt-workout.html
30 min or so, in and out and off to work right after.
Anyone else here use these Darebee/Neila Rey workouts?
They are on Amazon, but I get mine from Thrivemarket, it's cheaper but you have to have a membership. Looks like they're sold out right now there: https://thrivemarket.com/julian-bakery-paleo-wraps
They're so yummy, a little bit sweet FYI
What I found to be helpful is to stop at the gas station and get the water that has electrolytes in it. Also I got an electrolyte powder to mix with water off amazon and it works well.

I manually enter my weight into the Fitbit app every day. Works just as well.
Also, there's an Android app called Libra which does the same thing.
You can also get the same graph from Excel or the Hacker Diet website.
I do a lot of workouts from this site, and the same day that this started I started this program. It's mostly bodyweight, but some of the workouts require dumbells or a pull-up bar.
Try making a protein shake. I use Isopure Zero Carb.
From here you can mix it up however you want. Add peanut butter powder, sugar free syrups, cocoa powder or instant coffee.
Blend!!
This should give you another 250 Calories at least, more if you use two scoops of protein powder.
Not sure how accurate it is, but I use a scale that measures body fat by sending an electric signal through your body, and measuring the time it takes based on body weight. It seems to be very accurate. Something like this:
Most people at large would spend the majority of their day in Ketosis eating 100g of carbs a day. The brain and nervous system will consume about 50-100g/day. (Actually that's where the 25g magic number comes from, the nervous system requires about 50% glucose, so 25g is half of the normal amount ... otherwise some people would bonk out before their bodies fully adapted. cough http://www.bodyrecomposition.com/the-ketogenic-diet cough or http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/0983490708 though I prefer Lyle's book myself.)
Heh, a weight lifter I know during his bulks consumes 900g of carbs a day. (Now that's some crazy shit.)
Oh? Didn't know that. This is the one I'm using, seems to have both.

Agreed! I have so many Nalgene & Camelbak bottles but I have got to say that I just bought these Thermoflasks... quite the upgrade. They are insulated & keep ice the entire day. I'm not a big fan of room temp water but find ice cold water is deliciously addicting. Also the 2 pack was at my Costco for $35.
I suggest using ground up chicharrones (pork rinds) for that extra crunch. Or if you don't want to grind them up yourself, you can buy off Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Pork-Dust-Rind-Breadcrumbs-Pack/dp/B00FWW3UAS/
Tip: I just cook with lite salt and use that whenever I would use salt. At the beginning I just dissolved a tablespoon in water and chugged that in the mornings.
The only place I can find it is at starbucks and it's $4.99 for one of the little packs, but I have this stuff coming from Amazon this month so I'm excited to try it! http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000EML7DS
I've never done the K cups, I can find the ground at our local grocery store (for far less than this but this is the bag): Newman's Own Organic Special Blend Ground Decaf Coffee, 10-Ounce Bags (Pack of 3) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001M2BMBQ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_awd_rnzNwbZFMGGCX
Found an app [for android] that is a weight trend tracker :) Libra
Seeing Oranges13 and other awesome people with their graphs sent me on a search to find just an app that does that. No blu-tooth scale or Fitbit required, you just enter your weight. Libra, Withings scales, and Fitbit all use the weight trend formula from a book called 'The Hackers Diet' by John Walker. So the graphing calculations should be the same across all three of these.
