>What would happen to your body?
Assuming you could metabolize it... You'd gain 2.86*10^(20) lbs of fat (2.041*10^(19) stones). This would be the weight of around 1/500^(th) the Moon, or about 1/5^(th) the weight of Saturn's moon Tethys.
But... that's a lot of energy in a small space.
So... you'd probably have a tiny hole poked through you. Or you'd die in a massive gamma-ray incident that would wipe out the planet.
I couldn't get weight on a single Reese's, but Skittles and M&Ms are around 1g, so we'll go with that. We're talking 4.184*10^(27) Joules per gram. That's around the energy put out by the sun over 8-12 seconds, or around 4 trillion megaton nuclear devices. All in a tiny forbidden morsel.
The thing you're consuming has to be moving quite fast. Like.. really really fast. It's more energy dense than a neutron star. It's more energy dense than antimatter (which clocks in at 1.8*10^(14) Joules per gram, leaving... 4.183999999999*82**10^(27) joules; not much of a dent).
So, I figured we could speed things up with newtonian physics. But even going 0.9999999999999c, a gram of mass is going to hit with around 9*10^(13) Joules (then, if it were antimatter, explode with that 1.8*10^(14)). Still a tiny dent.
Ah! But as we approach the speed of light, we gain mass due to relativism, increasing our kinetic energy!
At this point, I broke Wolfram Alpha. It wouldn't calculate with enough digits of c.
So I found this calculator... and sure enough, your Reese's would need to be traveling at around 0.999999999999999999999999999999c to have that much kinetic energy stored up.
Conclusion: Do not eat that Reese's Piece, for the sake of all life on Earth.
Oof. Fuck it, math time and i hope I'm wrong bc those look amazing
Looked up calories in beef and it's 187/100gr on fatsecret.
Cooked beef according to the USDA is about 50-60% water. I'll go with 50 for best results. Most jerky is the shit, tough cuts
I'll assume we lose half of that in drying, bc those don't look rock hard.
(Original amt of meat)*0.75 = 85gr
(Orig) = 85gr/0.75
(Orig) = 113gr
That's 211cal, assuming no added fats.
It could be lower if it has a) more water retained than I'm assuming, b) more air than the meat did, c) less fat than assumed, or d) non or low caloric filler.
Someone who isn't on mobile at late oclock please prove me wrong.
The best part of this is that it’s not at all far from the truth. Wishbone came out with dressings that you could spritz on your salads quite a while ago.
I've started using sesame Ezekiel bread, which is allegedly super healthy (sprouted grains and such, have to keep in freezer since it expires quickly). It tastes really good toasted. Add a fried egg (with salt and pepper) and a slice of cheese.
Also, I just bought a mini non stick frying pan that makes cooking a single egg so much easier. Recommend if you don't have something similar!
I went to a nutrition counselor to help me get past my disordered eating. I used the book Intuitive Eating to work through some of my unhealthy attitudes towards food.
500 or even 1000 calories a day is not enough. You may need to seek out some professional treatment. It made a huge difference for me and is step 1 on treating yourself and your body in a healthy and loving way.
Edit: you may want to check out some of the resources on the eating disorders subreddit.
Oh I cheated! It’s just a mix! Sticky Fingers blueberry scones! I added a touch of vanilla, a touch of almond extract, and some cinnamon, though. I also used unsweetened cashew milk instead of water for the recipe.
You can buy the mix on Amazon! They’ve got a ton of different flavors and make for an easy, tasty, lo-cal breakfast with some turkey bacon!
ETA: Sticky Fingers Wild Blueberry Scone Mix, 15-Ounces (Pack of 3) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00473U3R6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_DfawDbZFHSF08
It’s $18 for a 3-pack, and one pouch makes a dozen.
Looks like you can get a 6 pack on amazon for ~$25, which would save you ~85¢/packet if you were getting them for $5 each before.
I have a pan for you!!
It fits 1 box brownie mix perfectly. You do have to encourage the mix equally around and have to PAM the daylights out of it ( I’ve had good luck with Pam baking with flour)
But there are 19 bee hexagons. There are 20 servings per box... and that’s close enough portion control for me 😂 plus. Bees are cute.
I get it from my local Asian market. It’s 330-340 calories for a lot of noodles and good broth compared to most brands being 500+ and yes I’ve measured it.
Sistema also sells those tiny containers separately! I saw them at World Market before, but I don't think they have them anymore.
Hey fellow Pop Tart lover! If you don't already know, Special K makes some DELICIOUS "pastry crisps" that come in 100 calorie two packs! 50 each. And the best one of course, is brown sugar cinnamon. Here's a picture so you know what you're looking for

I bought this one and I love it.

Sugar free, fat free Jello pudding. I often add extra cacao powder or peanut butter powder to amp up the flavour and thickness. Both go well with the chocolate and butterscotch pudding.
Canned pumpkin mixed with cacao powder and/or peanut butter, eaten either cold or microwaved. When using cacao powder, since it's more bitter, I'll add a bit of sweetener.
Yogurt mixed with cacao powder and/or peanut butter powder (sensing a trend here, lol)
For cacao powder, the Cacao Barry brand is absolutely amazing. The richest, darkest powder I've ever had.
Just like OP said, us Mexicans also have the jello like version and you can buy it at the grocery store. If you’re in the US and know a store that sells Latin American product you might be able to find them there. They look just like the boxes of jell-o.
EDIT: apparently amazon has them.

Looks like some sort of typo unfortunately. The amount of calories here line up with the other flavors. Still not bad IMO!
Check to see if your local library has it! Simply change the zip.
This was my last Reddit impulse buy. Add it to your order! https://www.amazon.com/63182-Elephant-Watering-Gallons-Novelty/dp/B000KL6YYK/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=elephant+watering+can&qid=1565809200&s=gateway&sr=8-3
OP, I have no idea why people are being jerks to you. I think this is a great idea to keep yourself from over eating.
I do something similar with my ice cream. When I first discovered Halo Top, I became addicted and downed a pint a day. Didn't lose weight for 2 weeks.
Then I went back to fancy ice cream (McConnell's, Van Leeuwen, etc), but started to portion them out to 50g scoops into [these containers](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00LCW4NYE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_u5maDb1493D7E). Now I get to eat non-diet ice cream everyday, and each is only ~150 calories.
Don't listen to the naysayers, and good job on your self-control, OP!
This is the link of the scale I got. It's fairly cheap. So far, I like it. You can customize the weight settings, goals, stuff like that. I also think it can interface with things like the Apple fitness and Samsung health. But I'm happy with it for the price and ease of use. Kernel Season's Ranch popcorn seasoning! It's only 2 calories and really, really makes a difference on veggies. I especially love it on salads because I hate most leafy greens but this and some Bolthouse Farms yogurt dressing (35-45 calories for two tablespoons!) makes it more palatable.
The one that worked best for me was a squirt bottle, not a pressurized pump:
Evo Oil Sprayer Bottle, Non-Aerosol for Olive Oil and Cooking Oils, 8-ounce Capacity, Set of 2
The actual bunny from the picture didn't list nutrition... I used Dark Chocolate 75% as reference using 1.6oz servings.
Great idea using the water flavours to make popsicles!
I've never done that, but I do use them to make sugar free jello. I find the Kool-Aid ones taste the most authentic.
Not at all! I use silicone food huggers (which I highly recommend) and store it in the fridge for the next morning. Or, sometimes my husband eats it, lol.
It is a great snack! But I’m gonna go ahead and add my name to the list of people who need to know where you got that mug.
Edit: guys, I found it! Here you go!
I’ve used this one for 3 years. No complaints. It was essential to my weight loss
Whatever scale you end up getting, make sure it has a TARE function. Makes life easier
If you have time at night, I recommend just making your own popcorn, it's significantly cheaper than skinny pop and fewer calories (minimal detail, but 38 kCal per cup, instead of 47). I throw these seasonings on it.
When it comes out, i just spritz it a little PAM or vinegar, then I toss in the seasoning.
They go pretty light on the cheese. The chicken makes sense because the is around 37 calories per 1/4 cup of cooked diced chicken breast. So at most it is closer to 50ish calories since the worker put like a handful and a half.
This is the peanut sauce I like - it’s usually in every big grocery chain to buy Sky Valley Organic Thai Peanut Sauce, 14.5 Ounce, 1-Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B077J29YR3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_S0RQBCCJ38ZNCNGJH6C6
I use 1 oz avocado (about 1/2 of a small avo), 2 crab sticks, and 1/4-1/3 cup cooked rice and load up on the veggies for volume. The sauces I don’t even need to use a full serving of, just drizzle it on top. I mix it all together and the smallest amounts go a long way.
It's basically peanut butter with the fat removed, so it ends up being a powder. You then add water to it to make it a peanut butter consistency. Here it is on amazon, but you can normally find it in the peanut butter section at grocery stores. I think other peanut butter brands have started making their own version of it too!
Instead of making "peanut butter" with it, it's really good mixing into things like smoothies and sauces in its powdered form to give them a peanut flavor without all the calories. I make a sauce with it by mixing it with soy sauce, sriracha, rice wine vinegar, and a little honey for a yummy lower cal asian peanut sauce.

Konjac jelly has the texture and flavor of jello. Its derived from the Konjac plant.
Found this on amazon. They have an apple, peach and grape flavor. All taste yummy!

Ahh, yikes. I feel for your lack of TJ's. :(
But you know what? I live in an urbanized area and frankly I don't do low carb/cal tortillas. I'm still not sure what PB2 is, and to this day I remain super iffy about the taste of quinoa.
TBH I think it's easy to lose sight of the big picture amidst all the pretty, complicated low-cal photos. The whole point of all these "diet fad" foods is to do what you're already doing, which is figuring out what you can eat that won't break your calorie bank. But if you're getting bored, pay attention to the low-calorie flavor options that make a "fancy" meal delicious instead: cayenne/cumin/garlic powder instead of more butter, the holy salt+pepper+lemon combo in place of salad dressing, etc. Pay attention to the everything besides the fact that fancy diet food is involved, that makes a meal delicious.
I dunno. I guess what I'm trying to say is that fancy diet food isn't all that. You love grilled cheese sandwiches, right? There's nothing fancy about that but it's one of the most amazing foods in the world. Similarly, there's nothing fancy about, say, microwave-popped air popcorn in one of these bowls that you can get from Amazon, but add a bit of common seasoning and you'll be in heaven. Or. Think about it this way. Maybe you can't make this quinoa thing from yesterday but it'll give you inspiration for a divine low-cal slightly cheesy vegetable bake that you can make.
Sorry. This was a little rambly. But TL;DR in my firm opinion there's stuff beyond just the new-fangled diet foods that make the recipes on this sub so great. :'D
Me too! It's from the Rubbermaid "lunch blocks" system which is very excellent for meal prep and way better than bento boxes for me, since you can mix and match container sizes depending on what you're eating.
How much fat are you getting? I find that if a meal is low on fat, I'm left hungry regardless of how much fiber, protein, vegetables are in the meal.
If this isn't the issue, these are other things I'll do:
- Set aside 100 to 200 calories in my budget for an after-dinner. Something like 200 calories worth of popcorn, oatmeal or a protein shake is enough to settle the urge
- Occupy myself in the evenings with zero calorie drinks like water and/or carbonated water with water flavourings added (the Kool-Aid ones are my favourite) or tea
- Keep my hands busy with things like video games or puzzles so that I'm not reaching for food
- Brush my teeth and go to bed early. Even if it's just more time watching tv in bed, the urge to snack isn't there like it is if I sit on the couch.
>Right now I have one of those giant bottles of Caramel Skinny Syrup at my desk and I feel ridiculous every time I make a coffee, like it’s a mixed drink or something.
You can buy small squeeze bottles and transfer some of it into a more portable bottle to have at your desk. :) I usually use them for craft stuff but these various size bottles would be good for the desk. Believe it or not those amber glass bottles with built in measure droppers in the cap are excellent for portion control too.
This is the recipe I used as a base: Copycat Starbucks Egg Bites
I added in Canadian Bacon. I also substituted ricotta for cottage cheese. You could play around with this recipe and make it lower calorie by using only vegetables, etc. The key is the egg and cheese ratio.
You need a 6qt (or 8) Instant Pot and a silicone Egg Bite Mold to make this recipe. These egg bites are really great to make ahead for a quick breakfast. Since I already owned an Instant Pot, buying the mold was cheap compared to grabbing these at Starbucks.
Well, I was so prepared to make a snarky response or call for /r/1200isjerky. But it turns out this is a real thing. So, I’ve learned new things today. Here you go.

If I plan on going out I spend my day drinking tea, eating jello, and one serving of my favorite 130cal protein/fiber shake which never fails to keep me full for 3-4 hours. Then I enjoy my splurge dinner while guestimating the calories and logging them. Last night I had 5 wings and 5 square slices of pizza for dinner and I didn't feel bad knowing I had calories to spare!
Pictured:
- 66 g of Breyer Delights' vanilla bean ice cream (67 cal)
- 10 g of fat free whipped cream (10 cal)
- 1/8 slice of brownie (56 cal)

I used this brownie mix but did not follow their ingredient list. For a batch of low calorie brownies, I used:
- 1 brownie mix (160 cal)
- 3/4 cup of egg beaters (100 cal)
- 1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce (50 cal)
- 1 tsp of water
- 14 g of chopped peanuts (85 cal)
- 14 g of melted light butter (50 cal)
I combined the brownie mix, egg beaters, applesauce, and water together. Then coated my baking pan with the melted butter and mixed whatever was leftover with the rest of the mixture. Then I just followed the baking instructions on the brownie mix package and sprinkled the peanuts on top halfway through baking. Also, instead of cutting the brownies into the recommended 16 slices, I did 8, hehe.
You might like this popcorn seasoning sampler if you like to get creative with popcorn.
I love spicy popcorn, my all time fave being cheesy jalapeño that I used to get at a local popcorn place, but we moved. Finding a replacement was hard, and I can’t say this is 100% the same, but mixing the cheese and buttery jalapeño with this is pretty good too. Plus, movie theater and ranch, it was worth the 7$ I spent lol.
> Are there better ways to get flavor that are lower in sodium?
Trader Joe's 21 Seasoning Salute has 0 grams of salt!
> I love canned soups for lunch... notoriously high in salt. Any good suggestions for alternatives?
What about canned soups do you like? Is it the warmth, the ease of packing, or something else? If you can identify what you like about it you can identify good alternatives.
~~omg please tell me that's a Target brand?!?~~ Or it's WF, but Amazon sells it too? Yaaass but it's Prime Pantry :(
Quaker mini rice cakes are my salvation. They’ve saved me from a LOT of OH MY GOD GIVE ME DORITOS NOW moments, and they come in a ton of flavours. 18 of the cheddar ones are 140 calories, and you can get them on amazon if your grocery store doesn’t carry them:
I like popcorn as well, but it’s not as fast as these are, if you’re teetering on the edge of making a bad decision. Not that any of us here ever would. :)
Consider following this advice to get past your plateau. Even if it’s for a short time, eating under 1,200 calories is not a good idea.
Find out what a serving of candy is, then take that amount, or however many servings you’re comfortable eating, out of the bag and eat that. You could even portion out all of the candy, then throw away the bag. That way you’ll have the right amount ready to go when you want some.
Agreed! We need so much more of this on this sub. Sharing your creations is definitely great, but I need actionable info and tips like these!
Someone posted a Fooducate link the other day on here and I've started looking at it to satisfy this need. It's good stuff but we can do better! http://www.fooducate.com/
Not OP and I don't use this specific one, but I get the cheddar cheese powder from the same brand on Amazon. They also have the mac mix!
I have one of thesecold brew filters. I put coffee in the filter, fill the mason jar with water, and put it in the fridge for 24 hours. So easy, coffee is smoother,
If you're looking for a vegan protein powder I really like the Garden of Life ones.
This is the one I get:https://www.amazon.com/Garden-Life-Organic-Vitamins-Probiotics/dp/B007SYT7LO/ref=sr_1_3_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1525201950&sr=8-3&keywords=garden%2Bof%2Blife%2Bvanilla%2Bprotein&th=1
I usually do a scoop of powder, a cup of almond milk, and 140g of frozen strawberries. It's pretty tasty and ~200 cals.
I don’t know where you live but Popchips has released corn chips that are like Fritos and go for 28g or 44 chips for only 120 calories. Great lower calorie and volume friendly alternative to regular chips or Popcorners.
Found it at BJ's Wholesale Club (which is a price club like Sam's Club, but they have slightly higher tier food). Haven't looked for it elsewhere, but I'd check out your local upper tier grocers -- Kroger, Harris Teeter, Publix, etc.
Or you can buy it on Amazon, because that's not weird or anything...

Peanut flour!!
I add this to my oatmeal while I'm cooking it, and it tastes so peanut-y for less calories! I also use coconut milk as my favourite brand is 45 cal/cup. The whole milk is a lot of cals as well.
Yes! I adore broccoli. I have 3-4 bags frozen broccoli in my freezer at any one time for veg emergencies, and love getting it fresh to dice up into salads. When I steam it, I love to put a bunch of one or a combo of these three seasonings on top (white cheddar, ranch, or garlic parm). Holy cow, that’s crazy! I got them at Hmart in Colorado, and since there’s not a big Asian population here I thought most of the stuff hey import is pretty expensive. I did manage to find this brand on Amazon 10 for $20!
I got mine from Amazon recently and it's made by a company called Kitchen Supreme. It was $15 and I've used it a few times. I absolutely love it! It came with a nice storage bag and a cleaning brush. They also threw in a cook book and they personally emailed me some extra recipes and a letter to thank me for my purchase. I thought that was a nice touch! It's available other places, like amazon!
Bad reviews...but I thought the taste was great!! Can't speak to the brownies a directed, though.
These are so good, when fruit is dehydrated the flavor is really intensified. An entire 1oz bag is only 110 calories! These are also very good for you. If you have an elevated risk of esophageal cancer they can greatly reduce your risk:

If you dig Tasty Bites, you should check out Maya Kaimal. Same 90-second packet deal.
They have chana and dal in several flavors and all of them are really good (I prefer them over Tasty Bites now). My favorite is the Red Lentil + Butternut Squash + Coconut, which I eat at least twice a week.
Make soups at home! ☺
They are tasty (depending on the spices and ingredients), they are satisfying, healthy; and mostly they have ridiculously low calorie values (e.g. many vegetable soups are around 20 calories / 100 g; but even the less-low-cal ones are generally below 100 calories / 100 g), you can eat TONS of it = no hunger. ☺

*edit: clarification
So this brand I'm actually not sure of because my Japanese is super rusty and I can't read it lol! But she did buy me two packs and honestly, all of the instant tonkotsu ramen I've had has been great, no matter what the brand. As long as it has an oil packet with the seasonings and good noodles, it gets a pass from me.
Previously, I ordered this brand from Amazon and it was amazing too.
My tastebuds are stuck in 3rd grade, I love fake maple syrup and can't stand the real stuff. I use this, judge me - 20 calories for 4 tbsp! Add a little bit of Brummel & Brown (45 cals/tbsp) and I'm in 1200-friendly pancake heaven.
Hey! I’m guessing this is a misprint because I found the nutritional info for this package of donuts here
It appears these donuts are actually 230 calories each!
Has anyone tried this 'protein cereal'? I'm intrigued but my adult brain is like appalled at the idea of spending $45 on cereal
S&B Japanese Curry in a pouch.
I've been absolutely obsessed with this recently. It's one serving per pouch, 180kcal. I put one pouch over 125g (half bag) of riced veg (40kcal), and microwave for 2 minutes. It's been a life-saver at work recently since cold foods have been starting to get me down.
Honestly I feel like “healthy food” can be a subjective term and it can overwhelm you. What’s considered healthy to me may not be considered healthy to someone else. I try to reframe it as looking at foods that have a good nutritional value compared to those that don’t. Like for example, I know some Greek yogurt with berries will fill me up better than a pop tart will for breakfast.
In general though, I try and eat a balanced diet. Lean proteins, beans, vegetables, fruits, complex carbs, etc. I try and reach my protein, fiber, and fat goals. these are all foods that are going to fill me up. Do I still eat “unhealthy” stuff like ice cream, chocolate, etc? Hell yeah I do. I just eat it in moderation.
I highly recommend Skinnytaste.com as well. I get pretty much all of my recipes from her. BudgetBytes.com is good too and I’ve also had luck just searching around on Pinterest
My number one tip for anyone starting out that’s counting calories is to get a food scale on Amazon. It makes calorie counting 100 times easier. I bought this one 2 and a half years ago and it works perfectly.
Yes it has! I used to be a breakfast person, would not be able to function without a good start. Sometime after starting CICO, I started to not crave breakfast as much, and it felt like I was eating on a full(ish) stomach. Tried to go lighter and it mostly works! Sometimes I have a snack, or it's nice when someone brings in office treats, usually I can survive on coffee though. Coffee may be an appetite suppressant as well, which I'm sure helps! Yesterday I hit a 450 day login streak; so far I've lost about 67lbs. Feel free to add me — OP or anyone in this thread. :)

You could try estimating with your hand
I’ve seen slightly different estimations before so maybe you can find a better source :)
>
- 1 cup = your fist
- 1 ounce = the meaty part of your thumb
- 1 tablespoon = your thumb, minus the meaty part
- 1 teaspoon = the tip of your index finger
- 1 inch = the middle section of your index finger
- 1-2 ounces of a food like nuts or pretzels = your cupped hand
- 3 ounces of meat, fish, or poultry = the palm of your hand
COSTCO! I LOVE COSTCO!
Costco is a warehouse club that has everything you need ranging from PB2 (I can't remember a price at the top of my head) to their own brand of quest bar which come out to be $1.15 per bar. They're pretty economical and don't really lack any flavoring.
The membership for $55 for an annual membership saves you money in the long run, and in return they provide you with great brands, and deals in respect with food, produce, and all the like.
This was with Oscar Meyer bacon: https://www.fatsecret.com/calories-nutrition/oscar-mayer/traditional-bacon
and Kroger's medium eggs: https://www.fatsecret.com/calories-nutrition/kroger/whole-eggs-(medium)
Been meal prepping my lunches again lately and was craving something comforting so I decided on BBQ chicken, corn and mashed potatoes. I weighed, prepped and divided everything up for 4 days.

The chicken was seasoned with Kinder's BBQ seasoning (see in photos). I air fried it at 375 for 10-12 minutes or until the chicken reached 160-165F degrees. Once I reheated it, I added 2 tablespoons/32 grams per label of Sweet Baby Ray's No Sugar Added BBQ sauce. Which was honestly the best low calorie BBQ sauce i've had. Beats the pants off of G Hughes in my opinion. No artificial aftertaste or anything. I added pics of the BBQ sauce and nutrition label.

The corn was weighed and separated into each container. Seasoned with salt and pepper and i placed 7 grams of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Light on each serving.

Mashed potatoes were peeled, cut up and boiled for 20 minutes or until fork tender. I also boiled some garlic in with the potatoes. Once they were soft, I added I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Light, Daisy Light Sour cream, Fairlife skim milk, and salt and pepper. Mashed until smooth.

Containers are from Amazon.

Cheers, y'all.
I found this cheddar powder on Amazon. Cheddar should be easy to find shippable to Canada.
Holy cow, I was expecing blue cheese to be harder to find, but the same company makes blue cheese powder too!
Please do follow up! I found these on Amazon which at first glance has the SAME ingredients for $10

It's a "Coolbites Premium Bento Box" - right now it's on sale for only $10 on Amazon!
Each lunch in the picture was a full lunch - I like to eat a light lunch so that I can have a filling dinner and nighttime snacks! You can actually fit quite a lot of food in the bento box, by the way, if that's what you're wondering about!
Happy to answer any additional questions if you think of more! :)
Ok so the black 3 section container is from Amazon, you can get a set of like 15 for around $15 and it's been lifechanging!
I buy these, turns out they're on Amazon. I think they're 6", so a little on the small side but they definitely work for tacos, taquitos, and (small) burritos.
You just need nori sheets, rice vinegar (I used this one ), rice, and your choice of veggies.
Cook 1 cup of rice and then combine with 2 tablespoons of the rice vinegar in a nonmetal bowl (I guess it can react to the vinegar, idk)
I then put the rice in the freezer to cool because you want it to be cool or room temp when you are assembling the roll
Chop all veggies into thin slices (about the size of a matchstick). I used avocado, carrot, and cucumber for the left roll, and cucumber and spinach for the right roll.
To assemble, wet hands and press about 2/3 a cup of cooled rice on to the nori sheet, so that it covers about 3/4 of the entire sheet. Then add a line of veggies to the end of the roll, and roll it all up. When your roll reaches the side without any rice, take some water and use it to smooth down the edge so that it sticks to the rest of the roll.
Cut into eight prices, and serve with soy sauce
Sorry if any of that was confusing, it’s hard to explain but pretty easy to do once you get the hang of it!
Full disclosure: I haven't tried this app yet so I have no idea if it's good or not.
But a redditor made it and shared it around a few subs the other day and I added it to my wishlist thinking I'd try it the next time I went out to eat (which is not very often, partly because of my diet, mostly because I'm too cheap to buy things I could easily make myself.)
Anyway, here you go. Calorie Cap. Also available on iOS I believe.
Vegetable broth is incredibly low in calories. 10 calories for a cup.
the protein shakes they sell there are not half bad. Pretty filling and they have vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry in flavors at only 160 calories too.
here’s a big boi that’s 15 cals/14g
here’s if you want to play russian roulette
I got an this air popper from amazon. Its $20, doesn't need any oil and is idiot-proof. Literally just put in the kernels, plug it in and you'll get perfect popcorn (no burning, virtually no kernels un-popped)
From Costco a while ago. I haven't had it recently, need to get more.
You can get it from Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/PB2-Powdered-Peanut-Butter-Bundle/dp/B00ABKWSTA
It may seem expensive, but it goes a long way.
I used it a lot in smoothies for flavor and some extra protein. I'd imagine it would also go really well with Asian-style dishes.
I don't know where you live, but if you can order from amazon I would highly recommend these soups.
This one is only 190 calories per container, has 12g of protein, 12g of fiber and 360mg of sodium. It is hands down my favorite lunch food. It has a strong smokey flavor that I hated the first time I ate it, but grew to love by the 2nd cup. I usually pair it with potatoes, a salad or a scrambled egg.
This one is 360 calories, has 20g of protein, 28g of fiber, and 660mg of sodium. This one makes a good lunch on it's own for me.
These are so good, almost as good as cheetos. I get Pirate's Booty brand[in the US.]
E- Added amazon link but I've seen them at Walt Mart.
Orgain Organic Plant Based Protein Powder in Sweet Vanilla Bean - Amazon. I blend it with 8 ounces of unsweetened almond milk and 10 ice cubes.
It is soooo tasty, it’s my favorite part of this dinner always lol.
I use the teeeeniest bit of olive oil, but more importantly I use an excellent quality non stick skillet. It really makes cooking so much easier (and healthier since I don’t use much oil anymore).
$26.99 on Amazon right now! Cuisinart 622-30G Chef's Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized 12-Inch Skillet with Glass Cover https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0078P9D8K/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_lR1HBbSAZ2J4M
Well I can’t speak for why you’re getting downvoted, but this is the one I have:
They’re super easy to make, and people are always impressed by them at potlucks and whatnot... :)
Fair enough! If you do choose to use an app again though, I would highly recommend Cronometer as an alternative to MFP. It's not weight loss focused and it has a much more "neutral" vibe compared to other calorie tracking apps.
https://www.fatsecret.com/Diary.aspx?pa=fjrd&rid=3662036 this should make it easier for you. Alternatively, if you'd like to do this regularly, you can find just powder cheese mix at some stores. I got a white cheddar one from a British shop and bistro sells one in some grocery stores. If in canada you can get the kraft one at bulk barn, but I haven't seen it seperate elsewhere.
I made these more for a small, spicy snack than as a 1:1 sub for tots. These are also a bit bigger than your average tater tot and way more dense. For ore-ida 4.5 tots is 80 cal, 20g carb, and 2g protein. https://www.fatsecret.com/calories-nutrition/ore-ida/tater-tots
Egg drop soup! It makes a crazy amount and if you get a good broth it's amazing. I thought I'd mess it up because I'm not a very good cook, but it's literally the best egg drop soup I've ever had. I leave out the white pepper, ginger, and green onion. Usually I add zucchini or chopped baby carrots or something.
