30 Day Fitness Challenge This app changed my life. I was never the type of person to go to the gym because I was too shy. This app changed my life for a while. I was using it from June until about a month ago. I lost weight for the first time in my life (also tried to stay away from junk food and sweet stuff for 3 months and I made it) and felt more confident. Working out also helped with depression which I was always reading about but always thought was bullshit but it actually does help. It's fun because you are crap when you start and as you progress you feel the exercises getting easier everyday.
whenever i work out at night, i always fall asleep much quicker and easier (otherwise it takes 30-60 minutes to fall asleep)
whenever i work out in the morning, i feel much more energetic and productive the rest of my day
so i dont know what to do :( can i work out twice a day? like a 10 minute workout from one of these kinda apps daily and then every other night do a serious hour-long kind of workout?
only been working out for about a week though but want to get a set schedule early on.
I had a membership but never got the time, but now i have recently downloaded this app 30Day Workout Challenge and it has been great since. I am spending 60+ minutes exercising. Give it a try.

Znam da će ispast glupo, jutarnja tjelovježba. Probaj, možda upali.
EDIT: Kad se bolje osjećaš imat ćeš veću šansu da će neko s tobom pričat.
I suggest body weight exercises to start, unless you can afford a personal trainer.
I was in a very similar situation, I started using an app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popularapp.thirtydayfitnesschallenge
It was HARD AF but I stuck to it (I did all the programs simultaneously, every other day) and started to feel the difference pretty quick. Also, check out some beginner pilates videos on YouTube. I had an injury last year and couldn't do anything, a couple weeks ago I started doing a bit of beginner pilates and it's already making a huge difference in my core strength, posture and overall exercise form.
30 Day Fitness Challenge - Workout At Home (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popularapp.thirtydayfitnesschallenge) . I tried to link it, I don't know if it worked. I like it, but there's others that area good.
I use the '30 Day Fitness Challenge' app. I'm 15 days in and I've got abs already.

You gotta burn that calorie somehow - mild consistent exercise or short sprints or hiiit.
I am a very lazy person - don't even liked sports as a kid. But my growing male boobs and tummy went to a point when I felt that I'll have to do something to not get weird diseases by 35. Skipping, diet control, HIIT 💥
There's this app - 30 day fitness challenge. It's great. I started with this app and skipping. Shed 10 kilos in 1.5 months. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popularapp.thirtydayfitnesschallenge
I have exactly the same problem for the past 2 years 😔
I've had success with apps (without videos). I prefer apps without videos, as the videos trigger my perfectionism and anxiety. I also listen to podcasts or audiobooks while I do the exercises (being "in the moment" causes my anxiety to spike).
I've had a lot of success with 30 Day Fitness Challenge. I've been using it off and on for over a year now. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popularapp.thirtydayfitnesschallenge
I recently added a pilates workout to my mix which I find great for those days that I know raising my heart rate will cause a panic attack. I've been using this app. It probably isn't the best but I like that it starts easy and gets more difficult. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popularapp.thirtydayfitnesschallenge
Hope this helps GAD is a terribly beast.
Hi guys, I want to start working out at home and found this app. Do you know is it good enough? Thanks.
I'm a mom of little kids too and I understand not being able to leave whenever.
I bought a yoga mat from Aldi (the thickest they have) and I'm doing this:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popularapp.thirtydayfitnesschallenge
Click on one a day and in 2 months you'll work up to 20 min of bodyweight workout a day.
I also do Down Dog for yoga.
Also, why is your husband doing all the shopping? Does he cook? Do you ever get out of the house?
You need friends and you need to get out of the house somehow. Maybe grocery shopping is now your duty?
Perhaps you need to consider putting your daughter in a preschool and go back to work. The situation you have is kind of abusive and unsustainable.
You don't necessarily need to push the all or nothing idea. If that doesn't work, then perhaps take a step back and help her wean off sugar first.
Sugar is very addicting and very hard to quit.
I had to help my husband quit his sugar addiction, and he was angry for a whole month. He had the withdrawal shakes, couldn't think straight, angry, etc. It's a hard process and I don't think it's a good idea to pair that with trying to exercise. It's better if you focus on doing something she loves that's not food related so you can distract her from her discomfort.
Look up sugar withdrawal to prepare yourselves.
Once she kicks her sugar habit, she'll have more energy and some of the weight will drop off without trying. Then, you can both start counting calories, setting your own goals, and working out.
As one mid thirties busy professional and parent to another, make sure you're doing something you can maintain.
My husband likes to exercise in groups so he does group class 3 times a week.
I'm a lazy introvert so I do 30 min cardio 3 times a day and this 3 times a day:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popularapp.thirtydayfitnesschallenge
Whatever works for you, just do something for 30 min a day and keep it up.
I try to make it easy for myself.
I can't sleep without a shower and I'm not a morning person. Every time I try to work out in the morning I give up in a week. I now workout at night.
I am lazy and I don't want to leave my house after I get home. I used to stop by the gym on my way home, but I got lazier. I bought a yoga mat and a treadmill and I do bodyweight workout and treadmill for 30 minutes a day.
I try to make it a habit that I don't think about. Go home, put kids to bed, workout before relaxing.
So far it is working.
I do 16/8 IF for appetite control because I seem to naturally eat less if I only eat twice a day and maybe a snack in between. That way I don't have to think about it. Time to eat? Eat. Not time to eat? Don't eat.
I am doing this workout. I like it a lot.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popularapp.thirtydayfitnesschallenge
15 min? Try 10 min!
I'm so lazy that I started with this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popularapp.thirtydayfitnesschallenge
It's a 5 to 15 min bodyweight workout. I click on one a day.
I also started adding 20 min yoga and c25k to the mix, but I started with the 10 min a day bodyweight work out.
If you think about it, 10 min a day is 1 hr a week! That's a lot. If you told people that you work out for an hr a week they would be a bit impressed.
I have asthma. Bad ones too.
I still run but I run slowly.
I am on a controller morning and night, and 20 min before I run I take 2 puffs of albuterol.
I only run indoors on a treadmill at 11:30 to 12:00/min. For some reason, I can run faster indoors on a treadmill and not trigger asthma, when outdoors i top out at 13 min/mi. In cold weather, I can do 15 min per mile and only for about 5 minutes. All of the pulmonologists I had over the years say that's normal.
You can still run. Just do it slowly and take it easy. Stay indoors and make sure you're around trustworthy people when you run.
Here is my routine.
I do this for weight training; I use this one: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popularapp.thirtydayfitnesschallenge&hl=en_US
I use YouTube Yoga with Adrienne for my 3 times a week 20 min yoga. She has a few you can choose from.
I use c25k every time I want to run again if I've had a month long asthma attack or something else that prevents me from running for a few weeks.
I do 3 yoga days and 3 running days a week, and I do weight training whenever I feel like it. Saturday is always a rest day where I try to walk 10k steps.
I've been using this one for a very long time and am completely satisfied with it, despite a few quirks.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popularapp.thirtydayfitnesschallenge
It's name is a bit misleading, it is called "30 Day Fitness Challenge" but you can easily use it more (or less).
It tends to be a bit on the easy side when you start using it, but it ramps up nicely (you can choose your starting fitness, but this still happens), I think the ramp up is based on your feedback.
At the end of each exercise it tells you to rate your exhaustion on a 1 to 5 scale.
It is add based, but it will not disrupt any exercise in any way.
If you sre too shy i suggest you that app I also doesn't like gyms and public spaces when i need to workout.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popularapp.thirtydayfitnesschallenge
I hope that will help you, it can be kinda hard but is very effective
I've been using 30 Day Fitness Challenge since starting IF as well as 7 minute workout that I do at home. Along with IF (every other day), I'm down 21 pounds :) Hope this helps!
Regarding working out at home, I found the 30 day fitness app pretty good.
It is fully free, but it will give you an add at the end of a workout.
Aside from that, you could try sort of "bargaining" with your self.
For example, "I will only play my favourite video game if I work out first".
For me, I like audio books and I convinced my self to only listen to them while working out or walking.
> Have you tried some exercise for starters?
I do exercise at home (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popularapp.thirtydayfitnesschallenge&hl=en) but exercising at home is not good for me since I often "cheat" by stopping at say 35 squats instead of 50 when I am tired.
Downloaded this app. You can choose what workout you prefer (abs, butt, full body, etc.). It also has difficulty level.
Edit: word
Workout app (30 day Fitness Challenge) + Learning foreign language app (Duolingo).
Get this App its on Android/ios i believe.

I hate going to the gym and really struggle to go, but using this app i managed 30 days every day exercising.
It starts with 3/4 minute stuff on a day and builds you up over the rest of the month. You get "days off" too so its not a long slog.
You also can give feedback at the end of your exercise, to make it harder or easier the next day
It usually goes like 50 jumping jacks, 25 push ups, 35 crunches, 1 minute lunge for each knee, 30 second bridge and 1 minute of Planck. And repeating this 2 times. (Fitness experts of Randia, if I am doing something wrong here, please help out).
For posture, apart from back and shoulder strengthening exercises, a conscious effort for few days to keep your body in a proper posture goes a long way.
That's awesome! I'm working toward a similar goal (20 lbs) due to watching my parents experience early declines due to inactivity and weight.
Currently I'm down 5.5 lbs (2.5 kgs) over 3 weeks. Slow but steady progress.
Edit: thank you all for the support. I'm using a mixture of apps for making and recording progress:
30 Day Fitness Challenge for daily bodyweight exercises (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popularapp.thirtydayfitnesschallenge)
Cronometer for monitoring food intake (focused on minimizing carbs and portion control) (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.cronometer.android.gold)
BMI-Weight Tracker for daily weight tracking (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.peytu.bmiweighttracker)
Not every day is a success, but this keeps me mindful of my routine and the results the next day.
Off the top of my head, I think it's this one - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popularapp.thirtydayfitnesschallenge
I'm in the same shoe. I've also always been the fat sister. I've only ever been thin when I had ED.
I was doing really well losing weight after the first child, and I got pregnant again. I've been slowly losing after the second child, but at 14 months out I'm still 10 lbs higher than pre pregnancy weight and 40 higher than where I want to be.
I can't dedicate a lot of time working out so I've mostly been walking either to and from work or with baby and going places on weekends. I also started using this free app.
30 day fitness challenge: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.popularapp.thirtydayfitnesschallenge
And if I feel up to it, then I stretch: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=stretching.stretch.exercises.back
Each app takes about 10 minutes to do so I just do them when I'm watching tv either with the kids or after they go to sleep.
Keep in mind that prolactin that stimulates milk production also stimulate appetite, and eating too little sometimes also affect milk production, so take it slowly.
I'm setting a goal of only 1-2 lbs/mo myself.
I use this personally

Start with this and gradually move up, hardly takes 15 minutes. Do full body workout.
