Can you weigh that and confirm it's only 10g? That looks heavier than 10g.
Edit: just found a link. https://www.amazon.com/Lindt-Bunny-Chocolate-Ounce-Count/dp/B00B96K8CE ... probably is 10g then. 55 Calories but the label laws allow it to round to 50.
This doesn't seem far off.
https://www.omnicalculator.com/sports/stairs-calorie says 1 minute of "slow" stair-climbing leads to 1 calories burned per every 31.5lbs of bodyweight.
Other sources offer non-weight-adjusted estimates of 0.75 calories per step, or 0.6 calories per step.
Hello! I am not OP, but this is a bento cube, ive seen them for sale at TJMAXX but I bought mine on Amazon
Sistema To Go Collection Bento Box Cube Plastic Lunch and Food Storage Container, 5.3 Cup, Multi-Compartment, Color Varies | BPA Free https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071JMJNMY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_WADzDbDXBK4X1
Not OP, but Joseph's makes 60-calorie pitas that work well for pizzas.
I have a tip for easy to peel eggs- chill them in the fridge beforehand and then instead of putting them in the water before it boils, either put them in carefully with tongs after it’s boiled or the way I do it is boil the water in my electric kettle then pour the boiling water over the eggs in the pan. The temperature shock releases that membrane that is the reason they stick to the shell. I also use this Perfect Egg Timer and I’ve never over cooked my eggs.
Been meal prepping my lunches again lately and was craving something comforting so I decided on BBQ chicken, corn and mashed potatoes. I weighed, prepped and divided everything up for 4 days.

The chicken was seasoned with Kinder's BBQ seasoning (see in photos). I air fried it at 375 for 10-12 minutes or until the chicken reached 160-165F degrees. Once I reheated it, I added 2 tablespoons/32 grams per label of Sweet Baby Ray's No Sugar Added BBQ sauce. Which was honestly the best low calorie BBQ sauce i've had. Beats the pants off of G Hughes in my opinion. No artificial aftertaste or anything. I added pics of the BBQ sauce and nutrition label.

The corn was weighed and separated into each container. Seasoned with salt and pepper and i placed 7 grams of I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Light on each serving.

Mashed potatoes were peeled, cut up and boiled for 20 minutes or until fork tender. I also boiled some garlic in with the potatoes. Once they were soft, I added I Can't Believe It's Not Butter Light, Daisy Light Sour cream, Fairlife skim milk, and salt and pepper. Mashed until smooth.

Containers are from Amazon.

Cheers, y'all.

Not sure if this is allowed but I just bought a scale from Amazon that I am incredibly happy with. I was like you, really wanting one but thinking I couldn't afford it. Obviously idk your finances, but I found this one was waaaaay cheaper than I thought they were. It's ten dollars and it has seriously revolutionized CICO for me. Plus its ultra slim and nice!!!
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JTDG084/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It’s this gallon jug from Amazon. I’ve had it for over a year and it’s held up really well. They make 1/2 gallon ones, too.
House Foods Vermont Curry is my go-to premade roux but I actually make my own now, here's my ratio I stole and tweaked online:
I think between 1.5 and 2 times the above is the perfect amount for following the 12 servings instructions here.
It’s on Amazon! I’ve heard it’s quite a bit cheaper at physical Trader Joe’s stores, but there isn’t one anywhere near me, so I was fine with the price.
I’m so happy to hear I’m not the only one who loves peanut butter.
I love Jif pb specifically. I CAN NOT with pb2. it just doesn’t satiate that craving. it tastes so bland to me.
I started buying this peanut butter from Amazon. It has 1/2 the calories of regular peanut butter. It really does curb my cravings but I do still have jif once a week with an apple.
For me it’s worth the price!

According to the scale manufacturer it uses sensors. How accurate that is I don’t know. here is the scale.
It's a "Coolbites Premium Bento Box" - right now it's on sale for only $10 on Amazon!
Oh you’re going to be back to your pre-baby weight so quickly with only 28lbs gained. The “extra” weight I gained is all I’ve had left to lose since basically month 3.
Also - pro tip - buy a binder for your stomach. Mines basically flat & I had a c-section.
I'm actually not even at my own place right now. I'm visiting family but pack this scale whenever I travel so I can always weigh food.
That's how much I like it. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
As u/psychies noted, it makes it so much easier to be confident in your portions - making it all the more likely you can actually enjoy whatever high calorie food you want.
The scale in the picture costs $14 on Amazon and sells under the listing TOBOX Postage Scale, but any digital scale would do.
Are you planning to include any fruits or vegetables? There is no way that you're getting all of the necessary vitamins, minerals, etc with this diet. Input this example day of eating into https://cronometer.com/ to see if you're hitting your micronutrient needs, and also what macros this comes out to.
In general though, I would absolutely recommend including fruits and vegetables in your diet. A general recommendation is 2 cups or fruit and 3 cups of vegetables daily.
Yes they are! Bought from Jeff Bezos: https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B081JQWZ7J/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_W0S5D38PRZPWMBRBQZMH?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I like them, some of them don't close correctly though :/
> https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01JTDG084/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Oh by scale I meant to weigh myself. I have a really awesome scale from amazon that works incredibly. Thank you tho :)
The mix itself is only slightly complicated, using shrimp paste and Tamarind paste, which are things I don’t know if I’d use up enough of the containers to make it worth the buy. Bbuuttt if you’re not able to find the spice packet at your grocery, They do sell the 20cal/packets seasoning on Amazon
I used silicone egg poachers in spot on the stove, something kind of like this, boiled the water then cracked the eggs in the cups and poached 7 minutes. You can use oil, but I don’t, I just use a spoon to scoop the egg out.
If you want to keep losing weight while training, I'd recommend starting with an MFP goal of your sedentary TDEE (should be about 1,600 calories per day) then adding in your calories burned from workouts.
Aim to come in no more than an average 500 calories per day under maintenance. Ideally, your deficit will be 200 to 300 for weight loss of 2lbs/month.
Food timing will be important. Make sure you eat adequately before workouts to fuel the activity itself and after exercises to aid in recovery. It's tricky training for sport while trying to lose weight. For this reason, I normally do "cycles" throughout the year where I lose weight when I'm in-between training cycles so that I can eat maintenance while doing race-specific training. For more on this topic, I recommend the book Racing Weight
they already exist... I've had this one for years, smaller than my phone and a deck of cards, full scale functions including the ability to tare as well as measure to .1grams
https://www.amazon.com/Golden-Home-Ultra-Piece-Pizza/dp/B00TJ5W39S
Definitely not as good as a nice bready crust, but this is not bad and 160cal for half the crust and really easy to cook (just top + bake)
Hello. I really like Mass Gainer. This weight gainer is proudly made in India from proven raw materials from the USA! Including creatine monohydrate to enhance physical performance and fortified with essential fats, vitamins and minerals, our vegan protein gainer is also soy and non-GMO. it is also very tasty
It's been a billion years since I went to college. Are you allowed any appliances in your dorm room? An electric kettle? If you can boil water, that opens up possibilities. Instant oatmeal and soups, for example, so you can supplement your one big meal a day.
I also have a Hot Logic that I use to heat or cook food in my car on the way to work (long commute). They make one that plugs into a regular outlet. Might that be an option? If so, that opens up even more food possibilities.
Lol thank you! I like to give the meat a generous coating of this stuff on all sides, no oil or binders needed. Gives both great flavor and great color.
I got these borosilicate containers from Amazon. I got 5 single, 5 double, and 5 triple compartment containers. Borosilicate glass is the kind that can go from freezer to oven without breaking.
Ken's Lite Caeser. It tastes amazing, I could drink it out of the bottle. Only 70 calories per serving.
I purchased 5 for $10 at Kroeger.
I recommend this scale: Link
I've had it for several years, syncs with my fitbit (though disconnects and needs to reconnect constantly, sigh), and I can look back on my weight over the years I've had it.
FYI these broth concentrates are sooo much better than cubes. They are what meal kits like HelloFresh send and I can’t cook without them now.

lately i've been making crepe rolls as a nighttime snack with a cup of tea. i microwave one of these for 30 seconds, then spread 25 grams of reduced fat cream cheese and one TBSP of reduced sugar strawberry preserves all over it and roll it up. delicious and decadent dessert for 123 calories!
I got this book ages ago and it has a number of really good paleta recipes.

It's a thing called OkOk (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chipsea.btcontrol.en&hl=en_AU&gl=US)
Came with the scales.
Guessing it’s this one, although it seems excessively expensive..?
They are roasted gram. Indian snack called Chana (means gram)

It’s roasted gram and called Chana. It’s an Indian roadside snack that is super cheap and generally had with peanuts. Not sure of the location you are in, but you should get this in an Indian grocery shop.

I agree with the seeking help bit. Most likely, you’re using food as a coping mechanism and it’s become an addiction. The great news is it’s easy to stop!
There’s a couple book you can find for free called the easy way to stop smoking/easy peasy method. It’s used to help people free themselves from their addictions to smoking, porn etc. It works not by giving you reasons why you should quit (we all know the harms of our addictions already) but by attacking the reasons why we think we want to continue using the thing we’re addicted to. I’d recommend reading the easy peasy method and replacing “porn” with unhealthy food/overeating, or if you’d want to the original author has one for eating too https://www.amazon.co.uk/Good-Sugar-Bad-Allen-Carr/dp/1785992139/ref=pd_sbs_14_5/258-2227925-9281154?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=1785992139&pd_rd_r=7a70ffdf-f5a9-4fbc-b013-3b101bf5c34b&pd_rd_w=HOKEG&pd_rd_wg=umr1R&pf_rd_p=b9bf232d-9...
Good luck and just know that by changing the way you eat, you’re not losing anything (besides weight!) Your best life awaits you, and every day you breathe is another chance to take a step in the right direction
At Safeway in the "Specialty Diets" aisle where they have keto/gluten free stuff. It's also on Amazon here but you have to get a whole pack of 10. I just ordered the variety pack because the nacho cheese and whatever flavors look like a great snack lol
Here ya go

I love this one. I get it at Asian markets, specifically HMart. It's MUCH cheaper than Amazon.
I'm gonna try that Golden Plum one recommended below, too.
Not necessarily lower cal but I like to do protein hot chocolates - can find a chocolate protein powder with no added sugar or dedicated protein hot chocolate packets - it doubles as a post workout protein shake (that I’d take anyway) and a sweet treat
I used "kate naturals": https://www.amazon.com/Organic-Oat-Fiber-Powder-Gluten-Free/dp/B081ZKPJG4.
Which one did you use/recommend?
Your Instagram is pretty cool btw, will give a shot at some of your recipes.
I can’t get the cauliflower gnocchi right and will try the pan frying it in some ghee next time. The green goddess salad dressing is a go-to along with the Everything but the bagel seasoning. The marinated skinless chicken thighs are good too! In the frozen section, I love the seafood cioppino, mahi-mahi burgers (cooked well in my air fryer) and a lot of the Indian dishes with low carbs like Palak Paneer. Since I shop there on the weekends, I look for the items that are almost out and that it usually a good start!
You can find some products on Amazon and I love the Yuzu hot sauce. I learned the hard way not every store has it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06VXJFPXD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_B88GA42C8SP48ZHP0T7H
https://www.omnicalculator.com/sports/hiking
If it's actual hiking (like up and down mountains) and not just a walk in the woods, I'd recommend using this calculator.
You can use google maps to find out your elevation at the start, and at the end. There's also sites that have many common hiking trails in them.
Looked on Amazon and the pumpkin is there, but it's unjustifiably expensive. 4 for $22 😭
Are they very thin, like these?
Norigami Egg Wraps Pea Protein – Sesame Seeds
Norigami Egg Wraps Pea Protein – Chia Seeds
Where did you get yours?
Thank you! I have a Breville Barista Pro (it's stupidly expensive but it paid for itself quickly when I stopped buying Starbucks) and it has a nice milk steaming wand.
Each coffee 38.7 calories, and it is a double shot of espresso and a cup of unsweetened almond milk.
(If you also love milk froth, I have also used a milk warmer/frother like this at home... which is also handy if you have family that love hot chocolate. https://www.amazon.com/Elemore-Home-Automatic-Cappuccino-Macchiato/dp/B09C5T87SH/ref=sr\_1\_5?dchild=1&keywords=milk+frother&qid=1633371277&sr=8-5)
These are really good, and pretty cheap. We get them as a subscription on Amazon so they are even cheaper.
Hahaha. I decided in January I was spending too much on Starbucks and bought a Breville Barista Pro, and on June 21 I broke even with the purchase. So, simply, a fancy coffee machine.
I have also had luck with something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Upgraded-Electric-Cappuccino-Chocolate-Automatic/dp/B09FNWPVC5/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_sspa?crid=JAGZ5XKU3ZQN&dchild=1&keywords=haden+milk+frother&qid=1632829440&sprefix=hadin+mi&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW...
Here you go. I saw this and instantly wanted to know where you got it. Now everyone can get it!
Seaweed snacks is a hack here! These are really good. Also you don’t have to eat the ramen noodles. They are not the salty part. https://www.amazon.com/Kirkland-Signature-Organic-Roasted-Seaweed/dp/B097TRL6QY/ref=zg_bs_14864739011_8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=MP3FC5RR2KRCWHSSTS2H
The same product on amazon shows up as 256cal per 60g block. I've bought these tons of times and they are always around 260.
You don’t need an expensive one at all. Mine is the Ninja Foodi combo with the instapot. But, I actually bought one for a friend and got her this Dash one and she loves it. Works great for everything she needs it for.

I have the Dash No Drip Waffle Maker and it would take two servings to make the full four quadrants. But two of the squares is a decent amount of waffle.

I got them at my local grocery store but that is what they are! Not really as big as "wraps" but a little bigger than a normal soft taco shell
I found these at my local Costco. They’re not deep fried like traditional ramen noodles, so they only clock in at 300 cals for a full package.
The mini wontons are also from Costco. They’re this brand. I spritzed them with non stick spray and put them in the air fryer for like 3 mins. Super crispy. I weighed out 80 cals.
I added an egg for some extra protein and creaminess.
I get this from amazon. I'm not toooo sure what it does to my skin to be completely honest with you, but only because I'm freakishly obsessed with skincare stuff and I don't know which exact products are helping me out LOL. shout out to /r/asianbeauty
I have a Garmin Vivosmart HR and I love it! I used to have a Fitbit Charge HR, and it fell apart in the same way yours did.
I've had my Garmin for several years now and I haven't had any issues. And I bought the refurbished one on Amazon. It's $65, which I know is above your $50 price range...but if you are willing to splurge a little personally I think it's worth the extra $15.
Thanks! I’m obsessed with it and ordered like 4 on Amazon. It’s useful because you can switch out single and divided compartments. Airtight Bento Lunch Box... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01G88APB6?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Have you ever tried putting other seasonings into your Fage Yogurt? I was looking at the wall of spice packets in the store and wondering what else might be good!
Lock & lock containers solved that for me. They are a a little pricey but they last. They have them on amazon but you can find some deals on eBay.

sorry for the late reply but- they’re actually just instant noodles! either way, they’re still really tasty and have a nice spice to them. i found these at an asian supermarket but you can find them here on amazon. i’d recommend adding bok choy along with the mushrooms. :)
Thank you! It’s this gallon jug. I’ve had it for over a year and it’s held up really well. They make 1/2 gallon ones, too.
I have MyFitnessPal but it keeps taking me to accept tocs, which I have multiple times.
So I installed this one and it has most if the packaged foods available here and I don't have to scroll through a million USA foods to get to it
It also let's me create recipes which is pretty cool. It doesn't have an overview if macros though which is x annoying. I have to scroll to get that info.
I use an app called The Australian Calorie Counter because I'm tired of having to enter things manually. Pretty much every other app I've tried contains foods mostly applicable to the USA, or I end up scrolling a lot to find the one I want, or just picking something similar.
I use a scale for meat unless I cbf or am really hungry, but everything else I just use teaspoon, tablespoon, cups (1, 1/2, 1/4), small fruit, regular spread etc. I'd rather trade accuracy for time, and enjoy meal preparation rather than obsess over counting, which is why I always use a ~ because miles may vary. This app lets me use these measurements too. If I'm questioning it, I'll try to look up online or in other apps.
I use Limitless Supplements which is a NZ brand, specifically Indulgant Dutch Chocolate. I've tried a few brands, this is my favourite. You can mix it with water for less calories, but then it is not as good.
https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B0871TQ9NK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I bought two of them, both turned out fine and correlated with an old scale and some pre-measured things we tested. Treat it gently and it'll last a while. We use it for baking too, and for measuring out our custom spice mixes.
I have this Ninja Foodi which has been perfect for just the two of us. I’d recommend a little bigger if you have more people in your household to cook for at once.
They're these from amazon
I found them at my local grocery store but I moved and can't find them anywhere now. So I started ordering them on amazon. They're pricey but it's worth it and I just try to spread them out. These packs have 20 calories total (which is actually 2 servings so 10 calories per serving - I eat the whole package though lol) and 5g carbs/5g fiber so 0 net carbs. I highly suggest it!
Edit: Here is the link if you'd like to purchase them!
For those who would prefer a ready to eat option of savory oats - You can find savory oats pre-mixes at your neighborhood Indian store - they're called 'Masala Oats' .(there might be more brands out there for sure, I just haven't tried them)Amazon link (they cost more on Amazon versus Indian store): https://www.amazon.com/Saffola-Masala-Minutes-Different-Flavors/dp/B00HR2CFVQ
Personally - I prefer plain/sweet oatmeal in the morning. But I know people who find plain oats too boring - so this is a good way to get some flavor
Alright check this out. I've got this $45 ice cream maker.
Here's the recipe I used here:
Throw it all in your blender, then dump it in the ice cream maker.
For the topping, I left a little bit of the yogurt blend in the blender and added a quarter of this protein bar, which is really, really good. (90 calories, 6g protein)
A couple notes: - You can also add an egg yolk to the froyo for a creamier consistency. - The Erythritol is important because it prevents ice crystals from forming. It plays the same role here that sugar plays in ice cream.
EDIT: OH, and the yield was twice as much as is pictured. :)
I use this toddy cold brew system. You just dump coffee grounds in the big white pot (insert filter and rubber stopper first, obvs), then add water (I add more than they say because more liquid fits in the glass container than the recipe calls for, so I do 9 cups of cold water). Let sit for 24 hours, then remove the stopper and let your lovely liquid drain from the white container into the glass container. Store in the fridge.
To serve, I usually do it black, between 1:2 and 1:1 ration of coffee:water, plus ice cubes. If I'm feeling fancy, I will sometimes add a splash of cream and mayyyyyybe some sugar free vanilla or sugar free hazelnut syrup. Usually, I use a flavored coffee, so I don't really need the syrup. The toddy makes for very low acidic, super smooth coffee. It gets an almost chocolaty flavor to it.
The cheap-ass hazelnut coffee from Aldi makes a reeeeeally nice cold brew in this system.
I also have put cinnamon in with my coffee while it's brewing. It takes longer to drain and the cinnamon clogs up the filter a bit, but it cleans up nicely and I really enjoy the cinnamon flavor in my coffee, without the dry/grittiness of actually putting cinnamon in.

ETA: I use 12oz of ground coffee for 9 cups of water. The longer you let it brew, the stronger it will be.
What kind of food scale is that? I bought this one (yes, look at that high rating and those great reviews) from amazon, but it was inconsistent and felt very cheaply made.
It’s decent tea. It’s mildly sweetened already but I added sugar free coffee creamer to sweeten a little more. I also bought the tapioca boba on Amazon.
You should try Cheddies cheese crackers. I found them on Amazon and they are amazing. They are made with cheese as the first ingredient and taste just like a healthy, crunchy Cheez It. I have also tried the garlic parmesean flavor in addition to the original cheddar and they are quite tasty as well. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DVK8CJZ/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_RnaACb4A2GR3F
That one specifically since it is the cheapest of all the colors. I don't like paying extra just for color differences.
Other than amazon and affiliate websites, I cannot find any information on this tracker. The only thing that made me think about this one is that it doesn't look like one of those cheap foreign trackers where the instructions are not in English.
I would be careful with store bought sprouts. It’s much safer to grow your own!
