I feel your pain! I am over 40 and my knees feel terrible after several days of jogging in a row. I push through it but without taking days of I cover less miles in the same amount of time until I rest them (Bicycle instead for a couple of days a week). This morning I asked a friend of minewho is older then me and runs more miles daily then I do and he suggested "Arazo Nutrition Joint Support" (Amazon link below). I just ordered them this morning so hopefully within 10-14 days I will notice a difference. Can't speak to them myself but he takes them and vouches for them.
On a side note, I also started do some 45 minute stretching routines along with Tai Chi (both from YouTube videos) and these seem to helping as well.
Hope you find relief, cheers!

You could try Yaktrax - the things that slip over your shoe to give you traction on ice & snow.
I see a cross on your necklace. That is where you will find peace. We seek out everything but God sometimes to find happiness. You look amazing. But that did not help your heart. Try listening to or reading the untethered soul (for every one not just Christians). I also just finished this book. Great work brotha! Just my .02, don't hate on me lol.

Good luck, and make sure to pick up a copy of[From Boy To Boss] as your book of choice (https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B09Z8QFJ1Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_SPDGKH1TECXN7FZ1FX59) It will help you a lot during the next 75 days!
I use a running belt when I walk or run. It's slim and like a fanny pack, but less bulky. I can carry my Samsung Galaxy s21, a house key, and money/ID if I'm at the park. I would get a bluetooth headset so you don't have to worry about the wires.

Also - not every workout needs to be a butt kicker. I alternated hard days (weights and cardio) with easier days (a walk and yoga). Pace yourself.
I take one of these with my first 32oz canteen of the day and usually do my first workout fasted after that. Depending on how hard the workout was, I take one after too. Also, using Lite Salt can be a good way of mixing some potassium back in as well.
You don't necessarily have to switch to more cardio-based workouts. It just depends on what your goals are. If your goal is to lose weight in the short-term, the most important thing would be to track calories in / out (CICO), regardless of the type of workouts you're doing. But again, some types of workouts will burn more calories per session than others. I personally do more weighted resistance-type workouts with some cardio mixed in.
I'm not an expert and can only say what's working for me. There's some controversy around "body recomposition" i.e. losing fat and building muscle at the same time, but I think for those not looking to lose a lot of weight it is entirely possible.
At the start of 75 Hard I set out to lose around 5kg (~10-12 lbs) while building more muscle. On day 30 I reached my goal weight. I'm now on day 44 and more or less maintaining, while continuing to lose body fat and gain definition.
On average I've been eating at a ~500 calorie deficit per day, while making sure to meet my macros (and micros). I calculated my BMR using this TDEE calculator, and I track everything in cronometer. I do factor my calories burned from exercise into my CICO calculations, and adjust my food consumption accordingly.
My average daily workouts are a kettlebell strength or HIIT style workout, mixing in jump rope, weighted shadowboxing, and plyos, and then a 45 minute walk later in the day. A couple times a week I'll do yoga, or go rucking with a 30-40 lb weighted backpack, and on weekends I'll do a 40-50 mile bike ride, with plenty of hills and sprints.
I used the app Notion through my 75 days. Here is a copy of a revised tracker. Some formulas (diet) might require a change or two to fit your needs. The "Daily Summary" view shows you what you've' done and what you need to do which was helpful!

Hi, Albany NY runner here. My winter running safety rules are: (1) No running *alone* when temps are below 40 degrees; (2) No running in the dark. Ice is dangerous: an unexpected fall on ice can break bones, which will derail your progress (and your life, for a while). Other than that, dress warm, in layers. Merino wool base layers - leggings, shirt, and socks - help enormously. My running shoes aren't waterproof, but when I wear wool socks, the seeped-in moisture is bearable and my feet stay mostly warm. I get cold easily, so gloves, a fleece headband, a hat are essentials. Protect exposed face skin with a moisturizer with sunscreen, and lip balm. Protect eyes with wrap-around sunglasses, or safety glasses on cloudy days or darkening twilights.
Keep in mind that you don't have to run for every outdoor workout. A walk is sufficient. Podcasts, audio books, or your favorite music can help alleviate boredom during a walk. Also has others have mentioned, yoga, stretching, Tai Chi, or jump rope on your porch counts as being outdoors.
I am starting today too, so good luck!!

I picked and read this book because of Andy mentioning 'quantum and metaphysics' (@ 1:20:18) on that episode. I knew nothing about quantum physics, manifestating or anything that they were talking about...I thought it was all woo-woo shit tbh, lol.
But it piqued my interest enough to find an entry point book into those topics, and this book was it for me. Plain English speak with actionable exercises that I still do to this day, and I now have the basis to dwelve deeper into this topic. Dr Joe Dispenza used to go over my head, but I can now comprehend some of his teachings.
May suit you as it ties into Atomic Habits in some ways, that Identity part - Identity builds habits (or something like that, I've forgot).

I am! I've got different gift ideas for each personal milestone. My big gift for myself WHEN I finish 75 Hard will be a real barre for my workout room (something like this, but I'm not set on this particular one: https://www.amazon.com/BRANTON-Ballet-Workout-Equipment-Bundle/dp/B088FWQB35/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=barre&qid=1609648593&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEyMFJYMjQyN0tUTUM4JmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwOTk2NzIxM0dKVlRFNktMTTQ3RSZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwMDA3MTY3Rks0WUY1WTdDQ0o4JndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==)

It's a countdown widget for android. I use an analog notebook for checking things* off, but it's gratifying to see the days add up!

Edit: word
I tried my fitness pal for a few months before starting 75Hard and didn't like it. Instead I use this scale and keep track in my head by rounding to keep it easier for myself. I know I'm getting enough of the basics, I think I'm just having cravings because it's the first time in my life that I have forced myself to stay away from fast food and cheese.
