Also if you want to be lazy - army painter does already ready to glue on static grass for you... let me find a link!
Edit: it’s called army painter “frozen tufts” - but they got a lot so check em out
All you do is peel em off parchment paper, put a little dab of glue on base, place the base of the grass on the glue and... done? Check out my post history I have my custodes with those flocks of grass 😊👍
You want a Telemon carrying a Gatling Gun like Old Painless from Predator?
I got just the thing. Though I can’t vouch for the size since I haven’t bought one yet.
This should do you good.
I’ve actually ordered a couple of these to replace the Siegebreaker Cannons on my Castellan from the same dealer so hopefully they work for what I want to do.
Cheers.

Did around 4k points worth of custardboys with this stuff (:
Here you go. They've got a few different sizes that cost different amounts, but the ones I bought were $15. I used them to magnetize the carapace weapons on my knights, and they're actually strong enough to lift the knight by the carapace weapon no problem. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B097HCT436/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_awdb_imm_ZMVK0VX4ANSJNKMXKA41?_encoding=UTF8
I did this the other day.
I used 3x2mm neodymium magnets (N41 I think, they had a 270g pull IIRC).
Amazon link below, I think I'm allowed to share that, if not will repost without.

I simply cut the ball off the top, made sure it was flat and superglued a magnet on - they are basically exactly the same diameter as the stem.
I then just glued the other magnet into the existing hole in the jetbike, making sure I got the polarity right.
I've seen a variety of different bits doing research on this but it worked perfectly for me. I tried 3x1 but they weren't strong enough.
Hope that helps.
I used 2*1 mm neodym magnets. Bought them off Amazon 300 for 9€. They are okay for these very small areas but I always try to drill deep enough on both sides to get two inside These are the magnets UTOMAG Neodym Magnete, Multi-Use Starke Permanent Rounde Kleine Magnete für Whiteboard, Pinnwand, Magnettafel Bänder, Anschlagtafel, Kühlschrank, Bildmagnet, und vieles mehr (2x1mm - 300 Stück) https://www.amazon.de/dp/B08NDRXGQX/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_GBGN0RVKJNCZFPQQH7DR?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Honestly, I'll probably just get some marble pattern contact paper for my future bases. But yeah, there appear to have been many easier ways to do the marble effect than the clay method I used.
No simple green is a household chemical that strips paint without damaging the model.
Thanks so much, I'm really happy with how the base turned out. I used a compass cutter like this and just sanded down the edges a bit once it was glued down.

These will create extremely bright surfaces if painted over metallics. With an almost gem like effect.
Not to sound stupid but just wherever they sell normal superglue. In the UK where I am, Wilko, B&Q, Tesco, etc this is what I use.
If you can't get brush on there's also super glue "gels" which are much more viscous, messy and less runny that normal ones.
Definitely magnetize. I used these from Amazon. They’re very strong and the perfect size.
The Telemon is extremely easy to work with since there’s absolutely no drilling or extra work required. These magnets fit perfectly into the elbow joints for the arms and any of the weapon options.
No retributor. Just a black primer, I used a GW spray can of Chaos Black. Rub n Buff is sort of a wax based paste. It's meant for doing a guilded look on picture frames and stuff. You can apply it and buf certain areas to get more shine. A little goes a long way. I just used a normal drybrush technique with it, mostly going from top to bottom, like a zenithal technique. Leaving black for contrast.
Edited to add: Rub n Buff comes in different colors, I used this gold leaf color. No washes over it, just painted details. I think the European Gold would get a similar result. I also have the antique gold which is similar, but definitely a warmer tone.
I bought some of this off amazon, not as intricate or cool as others but a very quick, cheap, nice effect

I'll post a picture of one of mine in a sec
I tried and tried and tried to paint realistic looking marble but was unsatisfied with the results. So I took a file and smoothed all of the tops of my bases down and used contact paper. Because it's a vinyl gloss, it looks like polished marble and I'm very happy with it. 6 dollars and it's covered my whole army, even with avoiding spots that don't have the marble veins in it.
