I found this one on amazon. It has a few good reviews and the seller's reviews are 96% positive so it's probably legit. At least I hope it's legit since I just ordered one.
edit: Completely legit, just came in the mail a few minutes ago.
The artists come up with those! The Hockney was specifically designed by Lisa Hanawalt (as were a lot of them), but we've had many background artists over the years make tributes to some of their favorite pieces.
When we were putting together this calendar (I hope I did that link right!), Lisa noticed that a lot of the artists we'd been shouting out on the show were white men. Since then, we've tried to diversify our references a little more.
Wtf, Will Arnett is not paying alimony, though? Also, the animators also have to eat, like, that's the whole point, right?
I wanted to share, but I don't want to give away too much. You should really support the team and buy the book yourself! It's a little over $20 USD on Amazon right now! https://www.amazon.com/BoJack-Horseman-Art-Before-Horse/dp/1419727737
This seems like a phrase that has been around forever but according to Webster, the first known use coincides with the release of the Paul Simon album.

Mission Hill, maybe? It's on Youtube. Not really the same type of show as Bojack, but it's funny. Here's an amazon link to the DVD so you can see reviews of the series.
If anybody knows where I can buy one of these please let me know because I fucking want one.

Edit: I found it on amazon.
Also did this one based on this image from Ryan Kallok.

One of my favorite books is called "How to Cure Yourself of Positive Thinking".
According to an Amazon review:
Yes, it comes out next week. But I think it is only available in the US (and UK?). I preordered it on the American Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Monopoly-Bojack-Horseman/dp/B07BP1P3VC
I had the same problem with the flower profile picture covering his face, and I ended up just photoshopping the profile picture and my name out of the screenshot to get the full Mr. Peanutbutter effect for this post. There is a way to get rid of it at the following link, but I am not going to try it, because it looks like I could really mess things up with any mis-steps.

Hey, I just created a Redbubble with the print because y'all seem to be very interested! Thank you for showing such great interest, I appreciate it so much :)
I'm a handsome white guy and I never feel like I don't belong.
Yeah, talking sense into people isn't really my thing. In fact, I'm better at the opposite. I once got Nic Cage to buy Charlie Chaplin's mustache on eBay.That was his last ten bucks.
Oh, God, this is so embarrassing for you, but I actually don't have a girlfriend.
Ain't that the best show. Especialy the painful truth BoJack spits. And how he always seems like an asshole for telling the truth which is so widely seen irl. On top of that some superb comedy and an awesome Todd. And awesome voice work.
Is Track 10 a full song or that's it?

The Art Before the Horse is an excellent read. Does a deep dive into every single facet of creating the show, including memos about the pilot to and from Netflix, thoughts about character design and development and multiple examples of how each characters look evolved. Kind of a must have.
There are instructions about how to get the sound:

Semi-relevantly, I used to know a stage actress who really liked this book: https://www.amazon.com/American-Dialects-Lewis-Herman/dp/087830049X
She would go out for a part and directors would say things like "Well, it's kinda cool that we've got someone who's actually from Boston," or similar, for any number of places her character was supposed to be from. She wouldn't tell them until after that she was just putting on the accent for the role. They were always impressed.
Do you know if this amazon link is legit for buying the soundtrack? I couldn't find anything on the lakeshore record shop which someone mentioned.
I literally just added this to my shopping list not even two days ago sadly it’s only Seasons 1 & 2 but it’s collectors edition, hoping they come out with the rest!
You could see a comparison of Bojack and Rick & Morty as a sort of clash between philosophical struggle in a classical sense, versus a modern existential sense. Bojack Horseman, as a show, deals in an inability to find value in things and act accordingly, not because the things themselves are meaningless, but because the character suffer from society induced depression which prevents those connections from forming. It emphasizes that it isn't the world, but the People who lack meaning. It's their struggle to find it, and never fully get there. This reflects the Ancient Greek philosophical focus on the difference between Convention/Society and Nature. As well as their concern about the authentic life/the good life, and how love and relationships play into that (see Plato's Symposium and Aristotle's Nicomachean Ethics).
Rick and Morty, on the other hand, is a modern work on Existentialism. Rick, as an Enlightenment era thinker with none of the Romantic era's philosophy, falls into the Existentialist movement of the 20th century. He originally found significant value in science, and narcissistically in himself, but in uncovering their omni-verse's infinite realities rule, faced a world in which his search for meaning gave way to a completely meaningless world. Rick paradoxically still wants to value the world/his family/himself, and irrationally asserts this as times, while accepting meaninglessness when convenient.
Ultimately, you have to be intellectual to fully appreciate both shows, but Bojack demands both the Ancient intellectual approach of accepting meaning's actuality, and also a post-postmodern approach that says "enough of all this hipster existentialism, let's get back to the real work." Rick and Morty, however, squarely places itself in that hipster existentialism, while struggling with Camus' concept of The Absurd, because his character can't help but try to find meaning in something "come watch T.V."
I think this argument is done in vain. Mr. Peanutbutter doesn't seem to change, because he isn't supposed to change. The writers planned for him to stay stagnant, as he is "perfect" the way he is.
First, he is a dog. During one fight he tells Dianne the thing about old dogs not being able to learn new tricks.
Second, he starts with a "happy" personality. Unlike most of the characters who are chasing "happiness" or self fulfilment. Mr. Peanutbutter already has this. He knows he has a "good" personality, and he says (while working at the shoe store) something about how having a positive personality is the key to reaching your goals....the only key to reaching your goals.
Ps. Having a positive personality or a "happy" personality, and that getting you what you want, is also the whole concept covered by multiple sources throughout history. I like to think of it as the secret to life.
Examples: The Secret by Rhonda Bryne, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, and others that I don't want to list since I'm rambling at this point.
not op but I did find this one? sorry for the superlong link lmao
Im from the UK and we have them here. Its a cartoon keep in mind so its not gonna be perfect but its just a banana hanger. Just something like this
It has nothing to do with Netflix. Bojack is owned by the Tornante company and they made a deal with Shout Factory a couple of years ago where Shout Factory acquired the rights to the first four seasons of Bojack. They subsequently released the first two seasonsof Bojack on DVD and BluRay. I assume they didn't release seasons 3+4 because the initial set didn't sell well enough.
Since iTunes 12.7 (when they removed the App Store from iTunes) the process of getting a .m4r ringtone onto your phone is slightly different.
Here's a guide you can follow that shows the process: http://osxdaily.com/2017/09/18/copy-ringtones-to-ios-device-with-itunes-127/
My power went out last night so I finally had the chance to pick up Bojack Horseman The Art Before the Horse.
It was filled with just incredible stories, I highly recommend it
A friend sent me the pic bc she has a pug and is obsessed with all things pug- but this just screamed Pickles the Waitress to me. Found a link on amazon - send update if you do this!! https://www.amazon.com/Diabolical-gifts-DP1203-Nipple-Tassels/dp/B07XZ6RJGX
Since I don't know how to post files, here's a guide to get the audio in the video as your ringtone.
First download the video with your favorite youtube downloader. I use http://www.youtube-mp3.org/
Next follow the steps in this guide >http://osxdaily.com/2012/08/18/convert-any-audio-or-video-to-iphone-ringtone-easily/
to convert the file for iphone use.
Enjoy!
Here's my wallpaper rn - HERE - the colours of this sunset tho
Thank you! I just started working with watercolor digitally so it's a work in progress. I used https://gumroad.com/discover?query=kyle Kyle's watercolour set for photoshop :)
Everything i make i post here https://www.facebook.com/aanvor/photos_all
P.S that makes me really happy! That username was the first thing that came to mind that day, now I've grown attached to it haha
Thank you so much! I use Aseprite. It is one of the references for pixel art, especially for video game creation. This kind of animation requires to twist it a bit but it works really well!
I try to face new challenges with each new fanart, and for the beautiful Ruthie episode, I've forced myself to limit the number of different colors to 16 (for info in my previous fanarts, the color count is between 80 to ~300, depending the piece). This exercise is common in the pixel art community. Historically, the first pixel artists used to work for old consoles or PCs that could not display a lot of different colors and even less simultaneously, so it was at the beginning a technical limitation. Nowadays the tradition is still strong.
It was not a very smart choice to pick two scenes with very different contrast (a bright Utopian future and a lonely moonlight) but it was interesting! The 16 colors are all used in both scenes, with reverse usage in terms of lights and shadows.
It was fun to make, especially when I've discovered nice tricks (like "Oh I can use the light blanket/foliage color for Mrs. Teach-Bot shadow color") but in the end for obvious reasons the result is less detailed than my previous fanarts and I admit I've felt more frustration than pleasure to work with the limited palette constraint. So I'll probably stick to unbounded color counts. And probably isometric perspective, I think it's what I appreciate more. At least I'm slowly figuring out my style, so it was worth trying different things!
For info I've used Aseprite software and it took me about 7 hours.
Did this since no one seemed to attempt it before. Made using Spleetr (https://github.com/deezer/spleeter), I know it's not perfect, you can still hear the voices in some parts. Maybe it's more of a karaoke version. Still good to sing along!
This deserves more upvotes.
I tried doing it using only CSS, until it became evident that you were using the numbered .box
classes to modify the hair/etc colours, so my version doesn't work as nice as yours.
Much appreciated!! I didn't "make" the mask per sé, but I did make a few modifications to turn it into Bojack. If you're ever looking to do a Bojack cosplay/costume, I'd use this horse mask
Hopefully, you'll better luck than I did making the eyes not so Nightmare fueled 😂
I really want to watch it, people praise the shit out of it, but I have no platform. It's not on netflix, or at least in my country and I don't got a lot of money to pay for some other platform. I guess I could pay for NordVPN which is only 12 dollars pet month, but I'm relatively still pretty young, I'm in that phase where you buying everything with your money, but you're still very unexperienced with it so every penny feels precious, so I dunno if it will pay off at the end
I always point this out when that quote is posted because many fans don’t know that this is a reference to a children’s book (that I loved as a kid):

My mom's job uses Skype for this kind of thing, so it's kind of the same thing. I got her this and she loves it. She still does her job, but, like, sometimes you have to go to the bathroom (or take a quick nap because it's slow and the couch is right there.)
I would like to recommend this book:

There is a MEGA download link for the full res further down in the comments. Also my S10e didn't allow me to set it as a launcher background (or even use the full video for the lockscreen) so i used this random app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.craftsapp.video.wallpaper&hl=en which worked perfectly!
I was wondering if you could export the different layers of the image? Basically the blue gradient, stars and Diane & BoJack? I wanted to try and see how'd it work with this android wallpaper app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.in.w3d&hl=en Either way it's great and I love it! Just wished it had little more juice in it
It was actually a gift to us from her brother! But she loves it nonetheless, and I believe he got it from Amazon, link to what appears to be the product here. Enjoy!
The "Bojack Horseman 2019 calendar" placeholder page has been on Amazon since September. Now that it's been revealed, I'm a bit disappointed this seems to be a calendar based on the BoJack Horseman: The Art Before the Horse (which releases a month before), and not situational original art from the show (new drawings, storyboards, etc).
