Rollercoaster Tycoon (first one). I'd grab every person who complained and put them on a tile that was 1/2 a unit lower than the park. When it was a teeming mass of hundreds of unhappy customers I'd lower it quickly and then raise it so they'd fall under the map.
Then I realised you could put them on a bridge with no ends and watch them drown by deleting the bridge... The beeping alert sound spamming over and over is forever stuck in my brain.
For those that want it: I made one earlier
Made one that starts with Glorious instead of the piano.
edit: fixed the 2nd one
I've never done this before, but I thought I'd give it a shot. Since it's a ringtone, I could only sample a portion of the song (which will play on a loop. You can't really tell by hearing the sample once, but I tried to make that loop sound okay!) Hopefully you'll be able to download it from here and get it on your phone.
Sorry if it doesn't work! I don't really know what I'm doing. ;)
>tfw the fel reaver has been my wake up alarm ringtone for the past 10 months
http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/798996/
i just heard the fel reaver in stormshield no more than 2 hours ago. probably requires a hotfix.
Go here.
You can find a tone of just about anything. On it's face, it looks like a bunch of hip-hop and techno beats, but use the search and you can find a lot of great tones and rings.
Once you've done that, run it through this and you have your m4a to pop into iTunes. It's super easy.
All of that said, for texts I can't decide between the mario coin sound, the PS3 trophy sound or the MGS '!' alert sound.
We did retweet it but unfortunately can't take credit for this most awesome image.

I decided to put a few minutes into this. The "Can you hear me" bit is in both Zero Day and God Mode, with a different combination of voices used for Root and Reese. However, in God Mode there's a song playing underneath. I don't know if you want that. I chose to extract it from the ending seconds of Zero Day. Uploaded it to Zedge. Feedback is welcome.
Unfortunately the beep proceeding "can you hear me?" isn't in Zero Day, it's only in God Mode with the underlying music. And my audio editing skills aren't that good.
lol I can't really explain mine but a friend did it for me - http://picosong.com/98ea/ [ not a spam/malware link ] as for alerts, this might sound stupid but check out alot of cell tones for notifications. I got some good ones from http://www.zedge.net/
Forgive me for the Zedge link, but here is a decent version:
Tutturuu
I used it while S:G was airing, it will forever be archived for later use on my pc. One of the best sms alerts.
http://www.zedge.net/wallpaper/5840504/ Thats the clash. Marco was on par with Kizaru who is a island buster with scaling(Akainu and Aokiji) also lost to Blackbeard I say its enough to bridge the gap.
Well, this is her text ringtone, which is always at full volume. And she receives a LOT of texts. rips out hair (One of her voice call ringtones announces "YOU! HAVE AN INCOMING CALL! FROM YOUR DAUGHTER.")
She starts hounding us about when we're visiting for xmas, usually starting in June or July.
Sent me an anniversary e-card the first year congratulating me on marrying "the most perfect wonderful man," etc etc (it was at least 3 paragraphs long).
Asked what kind of law my best friend practices, and when I said "she's not anymore -- she actually has a job she loves at [government agency that pays well/has great benefits/etc]," she said, "oh." in a tone of great disappointment.
Constantly harasses my husband to take the bar exam (he works in a different, well-paying field, and doesn't want to spend the time or money because he's not interested in practicing law).
Doesn't drink. Judges everyone who does. Will go with us to places for beer or wine tasting, but then will make passive-aggressive remarks about it.
Will demand my husband come visit friends of their family when they're in her town (8 hour drive/1.5 hour flight), but will only give a day or two of warning. When the answer is no, she will badger him with "I know you can make it work!!!"
Considers every baby shower, wedding, etc invitation a summons. (Currently she thinks we're going to fly cross-country and stay with her in a suite for a wedding -- I've never met the people getting married, and my husband hasn't spoken to the groom in years, although they're on casual, friendly terms. Between flight and wedding gift alone, this would be a $1000 trip for someone neither of us talk to. I told him that if he wanted to go, I supported that, but I wouldn't be going. He doesn't want to go either.)
Competitive with me about buying my husband gifts.
Will wait in hospital waiting rooms for OTHER NON-RELATED PEOPLE'S BABIES TO BE BORN.
Here's a few message tones that I stumbled upon a while ago, some of them are quite good actually.

If you still don't find anything you like, then there's:
I googled this the other day and got all I needed.
The eagles cry is in the middle somewhere, but my favorite is the Charles Lee Rap. Enjoy!
I found a decent one: http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/1508626/
I edited it to make it fade away in a cleaner way: http://www.mediafire.com/?cdxxt196pk0os66
Edit: Here's a long ringtone for calls. Pretty sweet! http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/628083/
http://www.zedge.net/ringtones/0-6-1-mass%20effect/ I found mine here. I dont know if its the same one the OP uses but it also works. I use the Reaper as the ringtone and Yeoman Chambers message alert as a text notification.
He used to whistle for me to come to him or to pay attention to him. There's a common text tone that sounds very similar. If I'm not expecting to hear it, my adrenaline goes through the roof for the next 30 minutes.
I looked through some of the comments, you might find them on Zedge (search results provided!!) and there will be some Edward Cullen ringtones, but after the initial 4 you should see Commander Cullen and about 6 more. The rest are Twilight, beware (unless you like Twilight)!
tone: excited, appreciative
Awesome, found it, thank you!
from my mobile phone i go to this site.. *http://t.zedge.net/ringtones/0-5-1-marvel%20vs%20capcom%203/
or for desktop site *http://www.zedge.net/ringtones/0-5-1-marvel%20vs%20capcom%203/
they don't have the most yet, but whenever I get a text I hear "hulk smash"
That first site I suggested has a ton of mario sounds.
Also, if you use your alarm clock much, I've found 80's/90's instrumental sitcom intros to work very well. Doogie Howser, ALF, Cosby, etc. Nostalgia is a great wake-me-up.
But for the ultimate wake up tone, look no further than the Goldeneye 007 pause menu music.
Zedge has a decent selection, though they downgrade the resolution so they are not the most crisp and clear ones. I recently discovered Freepik, has some high resolution photos and images and vector files if you want to get creative and make your own wallpaper. Wally also has some very nice, high resolution wallpapers.
I have been using this as my alarm tone and my wife absolutely hates it... usually cause I sleep through it for a while before I wake up.
http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/1293911/
She has been wanting me to change it - so I guess I think I'll change it to that G2 one instead. :-D
DUDE i just checked mine and i used the same one for the same reason when i subbed as the host for last, last weeks lolol.
This is the link I used to download it. It downloads as an mp3, so you'll have to change it to whatever format your phone uses as a ringtone. Just look it up on google and find a converter.

For anyone who wants the ringtone, I've uploaded it to Zedge with a sarcastic description due to copyright. You can find that here: http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/1801647/
For anyone who just wants the sound and wishes to use a different method to set it as their ringtone, the sound file can be found here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B33yeu2wlrdrVHVwTGF2b1NuTTA&authuser=0
I have a suggestion: because the user doesn't know how long the audio will run for (or it is playing but there's a period of silence) you could give the playing process a visual indicator.
You may be familiar with the Zedge website; they have an excellent circular progress indicator which rotates to show how far through the audio clip you are, and also doubles as a play/stop toggle button.
http://www.zedge.net/wallpaper/10325884/
If on PC: hit the 'get wallpaper' button and then a window will pop up, click the 'download' button. If on Mobile: hit the 'view/save wallpaper' option and your good to go, all you would have to do is zoom/re-size picture the fit the height of the screen.
I found this, which seems close. I have no earthly idea what episode it's from though. http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/1513222/?cep=7
Edit: It may not be from an episode at all, it could be a special recording. The recording i found sounds too clean to have come from an episode.

If you want every SMS to sound incredibly important and let people know you mean business, mister, use the law and order sound effect. Literally changed my life.
And since I also like to party, I have this not at all unusual song to let people know what's up.
Old Spice whistle http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/1108957/ I just got my phone (HTC Sensation XE) and the Zedge app had it in its most downloaded notification sounds list. I know I'm a douche for having it.
http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/781405/
After listening to hundreds, I have found this one the easiest to hear in almost any noisy environment. It really cuts through the air to get your attention. Sounds cool too.
Holy shit thank you! If I find the one you mentioned I'll edit this post. Chances are I won't though.
EDIT: I think the one you mentioned is right there on the front page. But here: http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/1374781/?pos=9&search=skyrim
Of course you are welcome to play! And I am mainly a lurker, so cannot take any credit for the content. It is not a very active sub, but things may improve when more details of the Good Omens BBC series will start dripping out.
Thanks for your kind offer! Luckily NL has some decent laws for finding things online, so I think I have them somewhere, just never gotten used to the format. Still hoarding my hard copies and using the convenience of ePubs on my large mobile screen mostly ;) You may enjoy the Bingely beep ringtone some other STP fans have made available :)
I've always had some otaku ringtone. Right now is Kekkai's Sensen ending
And for notifications have been (just the first 10-15sec) Danganronpa's anime ending
And Edward Elric's yelling because why not?
I didn't know of any but I did a quick Google search. I haven't checked any of these so hopefully they work. I know I'm about to look for ones for myself from these.
http://www.gotfuturama.com/Multimedia/MP3Sounds/
Woomy is one of the things inkling girls say when they're excited. It's one of several sounds that play at random when you talk to an inkling girl in the plaza or do any of these as an inkling girl: Splat an enemy in single player, activate your special in multiplayer, press down on the D-pad (Booyah/Nice) in multiplayer, and throw a bomb through the basket in the weapon testing area. The male counterpart is Ngyes. These sounds are the same in all regions.
I used my ex-gf's phone to call my phone that I lost in the house and forgot that the ringtone for her number was a whiny valley girl saying "Oh my god, like, totally, that is, like, so bogus, I mean duh" or something like that. She is from Southern California and is known to fit that stereotype at times.
Something like that but shorter and funnier accent: http://www.zedge.net/ringtones/0-5-1-valley%20girl/
So are you just wanting to download the sound itself without having to install anything extra? Here is just the moo and it will let you download the sound without having to install anything else. Just click "get ringtone" and then "download" and it will save the sound to your download folder.
I would love if you could add sound to the stations. I would def have the SBB chimes. Personally from my visit to Zurich the Hauptbahnhof is a great place to people watch on a rainy morning. Get an espresso and when your ready to walk around pick up a revella from the kiosk and hit the shops or pick up a Cuban cigar and walk along the water. Oh man i need to go back.
Chimes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NntqvfqR5Bs
Found the chime for Phone DL: http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/674489/ (i dont know anything abut Zedge but it lets you DL the mp3 for easy add to your phone.)
Thanks, Potsy, for introducing me to that black abyss of awesomeness. Does anyone know where this lovely piece of work of a ringtone is from? Because it is fantastic.
I have an iPhone 4 and this is what I did...
You could either buy it by following the link to my bandcamp and downloading it there, or just use a soundcloud audio ripping program if you do not wish to pay. Also I put it on Zedge if you want: http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/1740214/
A quick google search reveals many results where you can download ringtones for free. Heres a two of them: Zedge and free-ringtones
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pbquDj3mkGc is the song if you want to make it into your own ringtone.
http://www.zedge.net/ringtones/0-5-1-archer/
zedge has it and other archer based ringtones.
Ringtone is the Jonny Quest theme song. Notification is the sound it makes when you eat a ration in Metal Gear Solid.
Here, I made you a soundcloud of the mp3!
I also uploaded it to Zedge, which is a free ringtone app for both iPhone and Droid devices.
If anyone wants me to host it on different sites, just let me know!
For what it's worth, I've made a smaller version of the ringtone that MetroGnome offered. I've narrowed it down to the amazing guitar riff, and most notably, devoid of any alarm sound bits. While the track as a whole is amazing, the guitar riff is my favorite part.
There's only one other instance which would work is Batman/Superman animated movie: World's Finest where the quote is "Harley Quinn: [holding a gingerbread Batman cookie] Hello, Mr. J. I'm Batman! Eat me! Eat me!" but there doesn't seem to be a link to be found on that.
I got a Matsumoto out from Zedge as my notification sound. Still waiting to see if anyone knows what it is. They have some nice ones :)
It's more of a notification sound, but hey, still awesome.
On android, you can use an app like "Ringdroid" to turn it into a notification or a ringtone depending on what floats your boat.
I don't have my iphone on me at the moment, so I'm not sure how to do it on iOS (I'll update it later).
It's also on Zedge if that's any easier.
check out zedge. just search for Doctor Who. There are tons of sounds. If you don't find any you like, message me and I'll see what I can do. There are quite a few sound files in the Win7 theme I made a while back
here is a link to a .zip of the files I used in creating the theme. Wallpapers, sounds..etc..
If you're still having problems finding things let me know and I'll try, but I'm a cab driver and we're short staffed so my shifts run 12+ hours per day for the foreseeable future.
http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/1157447/
This doesn't have Momotaros' yell but it does have the belt saying sword form. Either way it makes the sound at least twice before it does, so if you don't like it you can just edit it with Audacity.
I use this website. I have the Dalek's "Exterminate", the TARDIS rematerialization sound, and the Theme song.
ringtone mr taxi by SNSD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBRzR942WQM 0:09-0:37
notification: receiving incoming transmission from sc http://www.zedge.net/ringtones/748406/starcrafts-alert-ringtone/?pos=7&search=starcraft
I've watched probably 20 videos to try and find this and every single person either:
A) Dies just before it would say "Unstoppable!" B) Plays shitty death metal over the video C) Mutes the audio and narrates over it
Edit: Success! http://www.zedge.net/ringtones/107920/unstoppable-ringtone/ (click the play button)
I use the original Star Trek computer saying "Transfer Complete", which I got from http://www.zedge.net/ - a great site with nearly a half-million free ringtones, 70k notification sounds, and, of course, an Android app!
I know this is an old thread, but it still comes up through google. I also liked the actual phone ringtone, so here is that ringtone
I have always found it difficult to find a ringtone that sounds generic without being cheesy and really liked the simplicity of it.
I had one on my old phone, let me see if I can find where I got it....
EDIT: This was the one, I actually think it was the Ferrari 412 V12 tho, not high pitched enough for the V10. Still an awesome sound.
All of the images were found on Zedge.net in their wallpaper section, "Abstract" and "Designs". But the whole wallpaper section has hundreds of designs.
http://www.zedge.net/wallpapers/7836/google-pixel-wallpapers/13-5-1/
http://www.zedge.net/wallpapers/7836/google-pixel-wallpapers/21-5-1/
Call: The fragrance of dark coffee
SMS: Excuse me there is a message for you
Notifications: Tejat
Alarm: Default generic tone.
I've been looking for that off and on for over a year now with no luck. This site has some song clips (although not the one you're looking for), but I didn't go as far as downloading them: http://www.zedge.net/ringtones/0-1-1-bobs%20burgers/
The whistle is annoying. However, I actually like the Over the Horizon tone.
If you want to hear a really annoying ringtone, here is the Default ringtone for a Motorola Droid Turbo 2. The sound is called Droid Resonate. It sounds like a ticking time bomb and an old-lady fart competing over a bass line. Listen at your own caution!
It might be possible to download the .iso and extract the files manually - I did that with some old PC games once, don't know how it works with PS1, shouldn't be too difficult. I'll see if I can find anything.
I only found this download, which are only like 10 voice clips.
There is a lot of good choices from Interstellar or The Martian. If you look on Zedge there is a lot to choose from.
I think I may have just found MYSELF a new text sound. Lol. Good luck and thanks for the contest.
rawr is I love you in dinosaur
rawr is I love you in dinosaur
Text alerts are hard because they need to be short enough to not drive you crazy every time it goes off. The best text tone I have found besides the default was the flute bit in the Spongbob intro song.
http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/1464737/
My husband uses various tones from Mario, too. They're usually short but really noticeable.
It's awesome, you can use all your favorite TV/Movie sounds :)
I use it:
House of cards for ringtone;
Gameboy Start for notifications
and
Adventure Time outro for alarm
Up until reading your comment, I didn't realize I was whistling the theme song. In fact, I'm making a ringtone now.
Wasn't Themos renamed to Titania?
EDIT: It was, and they changed it a little to make it sound more material design (how does that even work?) Here's the new one.
I actually think I just got them from the Zedge app by searching Star Trek Computer. It's been my ringtone for quite a while now.
I found the link for you actually because it looks like the name of the sound is 'Startrek' : http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/317455/
I use an "eki-melo" called Gota del Vient. It's a "departure melody." Trains and stations in Japan have individual eki-melo that help identify where you are. I posted a collection of them in /r/japan. A lot of them have a light an airy sound, and often the sound like an actual phone, which I prefer over popular music.
For ringtones I use a Blackberry tone called Eager Remix.
This is mine. Being deaf in one hear I can't tell where sound comes from, so it got real annoying constantly pulling my phone out to see if it was the one ringing in the store when everyone had similar ringtones. Now I use the loudest, most obnoxious one I could find. Also works great for the alarm in the morning. ;)
I used to use this on my old flip phone but it freaked people out.
Not really sure how. I tried going into my iPhone's backup file to see if the audio file could be found within Gmail's appdata, but it isn't there. Not really sure how else to go about it...
Edit: Just figured it out. I was able to locate the .ipa file from my backups (C:\Users\User\Music\iTunes\iTunes Media\Mobile Applications) and extracted the file with 7-zip. Located the notification sound, and voila!
I've uploaded it to Zedge here if anyone else wants to use it.
Get the app "Zedge" and search for Virgil In and Virgil Out. I think that's what you mean.
EDIT: Here's a long ass clip, you might want to edit the parts you want. I think if you search in the app though like we suggested you'll find what you want. http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/1518476/
Right after I saw this movie, I got the ringtone, and it was pretty well received by my friends. A lot of joking "Hey I think your phone is dying ha ha ha" comments, and amused looks from the occasional random who had actually seen Crank.
You can select your device from the top right of the page. That should let it optimize the file type for your device.
I've never used ringtones until I bought my Nexus 5. The vibration on that phone is so poor that I often don't even notice that it's vibrating when it's laying on the desk in front of me.
I don't really mind though since I get to use this for ringtone.
Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon had a little diddy that played when the professor called you. right here. A problem with a lot of game and music-based ringtones is that crappy phone speakers will lose the lower frequencies. This is basically polyphonic so it should sound decent on anything.
I've been looping the roar for like more than 30 seconds o.O It's just so...good! Found some good links to just check out the 2014 roar! Here is just the undulation part of the roar click here and here is the full 2014 roar (I believe) click here
EDIT: Added a few links
Thank you found it http://t.zedge.net/ringtones/0-5-1-tuturu/ they have multiple and I found the one I wanted earlier on my desktop. Not sure which it was on these results though but I'll copy it over to my phone later today and update with that specific one. Found it: http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/1410782/tuturu/
Indeed. Wanna try something? From your phone dl a ringtone from Zedge, use a file manager (ES File Manager is nice) to move it to ringtones, restart, and see if it is there. May I suggest http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/688505/kill-bill/
Then from your computer grab a second file from the same source, and move it onto the phone via USB as you did with the file you made, restart again.
Edit: Interesting wonking aside, my original suggestion does fix the stated problem: IF you can't see your ringtones THEN adding tags fixes that.
Some android users like me can't just download and add a notification sound to the phone but zedge lets you do that. Here's a link that lets you download it directly to your notification sound list.
Here we go:
Icons are on 10th post here As a note, you will have to extract the icons to a folder, they're just images not APK's. I put them in my Icons folder in the SD card, and placed a blank text file named ".nomedia" (w/o quotes) so they wouldn't show up in Gallery.
Launcher was Apex Launcher, in Play Store. 4.0+ is required, but this could easily be achieved with many other launchers.
The widgets were made in Zooper Widget from the Play Store using the Walkway font at various sizes. That is truly an amazing app, kudos to the devs.
To apply these icons in Apex, do not try to make all your icons like that. It looks weird. I have all my icons like normal in the drawer. Once you've got the apps in the right spot (including the button in the top left to pull down the drawer), long press each app, "edit", click the app's icon, "Select Photo" (make sure to not use the crop option), select the correct icon using the file explorer of your choice, and repeat that until your icons are all the way you want.
Let me know if you need more help ;)
>I personally use this and it never fails to scare the shit out of me every morning
Definitely unsuitable for public places.
http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/546636/?pos=5&search=dbz&cep=5 Fast pace so could work. When I make videos I get most my sfx/music from ringtone sites so that could be somewhere to start if you don't like my suggestion.
In addition to various other alarm apps, you could also try using a really annoying sound that you can't possibly sleep through, like this one:
If this skiff showed up then it should have the Cantina music playing all the time, because it is now in my head.
Zedge has a free app in the Android marketplace and plenty of Diablo-themed wallpapers. I do not use this app personally, but I know some people who do. Maybe something there will work for you. You can download the wallpapers to PC and upload them via cable too.
The murloc sound from Word of Warcraft. I haven't played the game in years but it's a subtle enough tone to not get too much attention when it goes off yet my time killing murlocs trained my brain to react quickly to the sound.
F1 Ringtone: http://www.zedge.net/ringtones/1210/apple-iphone-1g-ringtones/0-6-1-f1/
(direct link to download page: http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/367003/?pos=4&search=f1&cep=4 )
Just click on Download Ringtone and install via iTunes. Note, I can't get to megaupload behind my firewall. I might have to find another file sharing service that isn't blocked!
Let me know if the Dirty Work one is wanted. Otherwise I think this takes care of the one you really wanted!
I already searched for Doctor Who for you. If you have an Android Device there's a zedge app (not sure about iphone) and there's also NiftyDW and Doctor Who Sounds and Ringtones.
If you have the sounds you'd like to use and have Android, download ringrdoid from the market.
If you'd like to use your PC to edit sounds download Audacity and Lame mp3 encoder and you're set.
I recently upgraded to Android 4.0 and decided I needed a new theme to go with it.
The icons are from ADW.Elegant Theme, used with ADW Launcher Pro.
The wallpaper is 3d Cubes from Zedge.
The Clock is a 4x2 Beautiful Widgets Superclock with the ICS clock theme and serenity.Blue weather theme.
huzzah, i have found it! not sure if this was the one you were looking for, but i found it at http://www.zedge.net/ringtones/0-6-1-swan+hatch/
the site looks messy and like it might trick you into paying at first, but i assure you it works. if not i can just upload my mp3-converted-to-m4r version
You created these? because I could have sworn that I downloaded them from the BF3 facebook page, and it seems like all you did was make one shorter and excluded the alarm which is here http://www.zedge.net/ringtone/1364155/
THANKS A LOT BUDDY
I had the Icarus 1 distress beacon as a ring tone for about a year.
My favorite, just after the Rayman Raving Rabbids DAAAAAAAH!.
