Depends on your definition of AI, and surveilance system... but yes, if you have the old generatino of PS3s that can run linux you can use them for AI tasks. I'm sure you could also run facial, voice, and gait recognition systems too.
Archive of our Own would be a good place to start if you haven't already. You can edit your original search if you're looking for something more specific. I generally search for the number of kudos (the amount of 'likes') a work has recieved because if I only have a few minutes I know I'll probably find something really good instead of picking through forever.
If this is the fic that you're referring to, you could honestly have accomplished the same thing in a lot less than 1200 words. And you have a few typos in there
I started watching, like many initially thinking it was a run of the mill cbs crime procedural. It started slow, on a good premise, so I kept watching. What I found was a truly high quality series which respected and never talked down to its audience. The Season 1 finale was so incredibly good, I never saw it coming. But what I truly didn't expect was for the series to transition into science fiction before my eyes, in such a smooth fashion too.
Every episode better than the last. What a finale to it all. I cannot recommend it enough and even though I'm sad it ended, I'm also very glad it didn't overstay its welcome like a lot of other high quality shows have.
I can confidently say that Person of Interest has been the best TV experience I've ever had, beating even highly praised Breaking Bad and Game of Thrones.
Thank you, Jonathan Nolan and everyone else who worked on it. I look forward to Westworld.
Personally, I use Windscribe and can confirm that their windflix servers work nicely. IIRC you can create custom plans for like $2 USD/month. If you want something from a bigger company I have heard good things about NordVPN, from a quick Google search they say Netflix works on their servers.
Graphics by Imaginary Forces, not much but you can see the graphics they use. They also did Pacific Rim titles so when you rewatch that you can see it's similar.
You probably want to declare the doctype in your html file, as in:
<!DOCTYPE html> <html>
and you might want to add </head><body>
before <audio controls autoplay>
, and remove <style>
</style>
from your CSS file.
Also, I think you can omit the prefixes on background-size.
MDN states:
> There is no need to prefix background-size anymore, though you may consider adding some prefixed version of it if you are targeting very old browsers.
Just a few suggestions, hope they help :)
So you're basically asking for a modern way to "tape the show"?
Here is a list of specialized software for that. You can also DIY by using Open Broadcaster Software to literally record your screen (click "Start Recording", not "Start Streaming").
AFAIK all legal solutions require you to literally record the video (i.e. it takes ~40-some minutes per episode), rather than saving it directly.
The counting sound clip is from number station E 14.
Archive.org has a recording from The Cornet Project of the station which is track 4 on the stream (tcp d1 3 counting control).
We Were Promised Jetpacks also uses the same clip for the count in to some of their songs live.
Sorry for the delayed response. Cropping and editing gifs are pretty hard. :) Anyways, here's my prototype:
This one shows the start up animation (actual text from the season 2 finale): Link.
This one shows facial recognition once the actual Machine starts up. It can be trained to recognize any face, but I just used a video of Finch so it recognizes Harold as Admin. (Scene from Season 2 episode 1 I believe): Link.
Let me know if you have any questions or if I messed up the links.
Edit: Fixed typo. Any thoughts? I would welcome any feedback.
*The Art of War by Sun Tzu
Section 9: The Army on the March
When an invading force crosses a river in its onward march, do not advance to meet it in mid-stream. It will be best to let half the army get across, and then deliver your attack.

You can use https://www.justwatch.com to find out what movies/shows are available on which services where you live. It's a godsend of a site.
Now for the bad news - I'm assuming you're in the US because of the CBS mention, unfortunately it's not available on any streaming services there right now, so you'll have to buy it (either physically or digitally).
I'm hoping it shows up somewhere in the next month or so, until then, I'm keeping an eye on JustWatch. https://www.justwatch.com/us/tv-show/person-of-interest
> Machine has been able to run on hardware from 2008
https://www.justwatch.com/nl/tv-series/person-of-interest its not available in NL :(
its available in MS Store with buy option for € 41,49
Glad you like it. The show still don't get the echo it should had. But maybe it's better that way, a lot of show getting popular easily become crap because of that factor.
As you finished the show and realizing S5 was rushed, you may enjoy too this outline on how S5 & S6 should have been if not the cancellation --> "Oh, the lives we could have led." (Not a fanfic.)
> I always think what would've happened if it ran until those 7 seasons.....
I made this outline of what a full season 5 and 6 would have been if not CBS : --> "Oh, the lives we could have led."
They actually should "remake" S5, then make the final S6, as it should have been. Something like this --> "Oh, the lives we could have led."
[The ratings were largely solid]https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Person_of_Interest_(TV_series)#Ratings) - #13 (Season 1), #5 (Season 2), #8 (Season 3), #21 (Season 4). I would imagine a lot of critics wrote the show off after Season 1, since the reviews were mixed. Critics generally don't tend to take Sci-Fi as seriously as a genre too.
In India it's free with prime you don't have to pay for each episode, try using India as location in vpn. Prime in India is like 13.50 dollars a year.

as someone who's watched Burn Notice, White Collar, Suits, Castle, Criminal Minds, Elementary, Psych, Homeland, Blacklist, leverage, a prison break, and so many others similar shows, Person of Interest is nothing like you've ever seen, the closest thing that can come is Criminal Minds first few seasons, but POI is something MORE, trust me, the final episode shot of season 1 you'll be shitting your pants/goosebumps, also the music by Ramin Djiwadi who did Game of Thrones is excellent and if you Love Lost, POI will you make you feel right at home !
also its on amazon prime https://www.primevideo.com/detail/0TN2RK54DUZJEMNQE1TWDNNML9/ref=atv_dp_season_select_s4
Well, it's not a ''cleaning'' for an audio track. I just extract the surround audio track off the Blu-ray which is 5.1 surround (6 channels).
There are many different types of software available that'll all help you to do the job. Audacity, eac3to, Adobe Audition and many others.
Good luck, hope this helps.
If you really want to own the show physically you could purchase the UK's Complete Series Set however as your in Australia you would need to invest in a region free player for it to work
If you want i will have a link to where you can purchase the set on Amazon but for the DVD player i suggest you have a look online & pick one to your convenience
https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01MSWH6XH/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_WJYC8Q773RQSHTQ5136C
Another option would be to try and find the Blu-ray's instead as they are Region Free which i highly recommend for the higher quality alone but again i believe they aren't easy to find like the DVDs & you will need a Blu-ray player but it's upto you of course :-)
Here's a link to a post i uploaded a few days ago showcasing my personal collection of the show on Blu-ray & i do mention how the Blu-ray's (in the UK atleast) are now out of print
Yeah, as far as I am aware the XBox is a bluray player and region free. I found a link for you at Amazon UK...not sure if this helps you
As far as I know region A is US/Canada and region B is UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and I think parts of South America as well (not too sure about that last one).
I will check out the Australian site and Ebay again and edit this post if I happen to find anymore.
You don't need to download Unlocator. You need to set your DNS as Unlocator's DNS. And, its mostly automatic. You don't need to set up for each website, just set your DNS, log in to the website and you're done.
Well it should work. Have you tried Zenmate?
Anyway I recommend you . It's a DNS changer and works differently from a VPN and better too imo. Works very well with my German account and can access every country where Netflix is available.
You can obtain a VPN to get routed to an American IP address. I've heard of people using Zenmate, but I haven't tried it personally--there are many more options if you're looking into that (paying services tend to be better than free ones).
But if this is for POI, you know that the UK Netflix has the first three seasons, right? That would be a better option I would think. I'm sure they'll add season 4 soon enough, given that the US Netflix will get it in Sept.
Dominic has mentioned more that once that he is always underestimated, and he was the quiet kid in the back of the class, and similar things. This implies to me that he is keen on hiding his strengths.
He has also made a lot of very topical and obscure references to historical warfare, especially that of Rome in this one... and let's face it, rome has some pretty cool history.
It seems to me that he has made an effort to study warfare, he's even working straight from Sun Tzu's "The Art of War" in this episode as Elias pointed out. He may well have been really into education/learning, aware that knowledge is power. He certainly has an interest in ancient warfare, and in that case, some understanding of latin just comes with the territory.
This is correct. Been on set in person, those are the AOC brand monitors. They are pretty damn good actually.
Commented here as well since its appropriate to your response;
Jonah Nolan and Greg Plageman have said the show uses most of the information it uses for background is from the book "The Watchers" by Shane Harris: http://www.amazon.com/Watchers-Rise-Americas-Surveillance-State/dp/1594202451 The book mentions all the programs and how they are used. Its a great book if you havent read it. They even did an interview with him at the Smithsonian; http://www.smithsonianmag.com/smithsonian-institution/how-tvs-person-of-interest-helps-us-understand-the-surveillance-society-5407171/?no-ist
The difference between the real world and the show; on the show it actually works.
Not quite what you're looking for but here's something along the same lines: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dossky.lw.Samaritan
I've been using it for awhile now as my homescreen wallpaper, and the watch face for my Android Wear.
