The Kernel-based anticheat is not live, and it will not come to Vanguard on December 2nd. It will first be implemented to the new Warzone. "The kernel-level driver will subsequently release for Call of Duty: Vanguard at a later date." They have not announced when this will be the case.
Regarding the running, server-based part, of Ricochet: it can't ban immediately because it seems to be mostly stat-based. Maybe they have a shadow-ban modus that kicks in, when someone had a certain percentage of headshots in ten games or something like that. But banning will take time, at least a day, I assume.
The only good news so far is this: "Permanent suspensions for security infractions may now apply franchise wide, including Call of Duty: Vanguard as well as any past, present, and future titles in the Call of Duty franchise." Cheaters can't use an account that was banned in Warzone in Vanguard, Cold War etc. That should help Vanguard a little.
No. Per the blog post and pretty much every preorder notes, physical copies get virtually zero bonuses. Only digital preorders will net you the extra items.
https://www.callofduty.com/blog/2021/10/call-of-duty-vanguard-black-ops-cold-war-warzone-battle-pass-rewards >When using the two Weapon Blueprints in Warzone only, you will earn Weapon XP for these two weapons. This progress will be tracked and will carry over into Vanguard.
^That's a good summary. SHG cranked up the speed a bit, polished a few things, and made visibility improvements. However, it's still CoD and it's gonna do CoD things.
Biases: I haven't been able to play much in months. I didn't play much of the beta. I am coming back to CoD and FPS in general after a very long hiatus. Also, ATVI never pays YTers for reviews. I put the #sponsored bit in whenever I mention my code because I am obligated by federal law and my contract to do so. No idea why so many others skip that part. This video was supposed to sponsored by NordVPN. I had an advert filmed about me being a clown because I don't protect my IP. Sadly, it didn't get approved in time and had to be postponed.
Which....article? I haven't shared any links lmao.
It's not hard my dude. First result for "ricochet announcement" on the GOOG
I must be the only one with reading skills huh?

“Preloading for PC begins on November 2 at 10 AM PT. If you purchased a digital version of the game “
Found it.
According to their official blog post the standard edition is Last gen only. But you can play the PS4 on next gen too with this edition. If you want to play the next gen edition you need the cross gen edition. With this edition you can install the PS4 or the ps5 version. I’ve preordered the cross gen edition and my downloaded version says ps5 in the ps menu.
Per the updated blog post:
https://www.callofduty.com/blog/2021/09/vanguard-beta-guide#Participation
>While your player and weapon levels will not carry over to the full game on November 5, you will gain Tier Skips for the Season Five Battle Pass based on your time played in the Beta, allowing you to earn Tiers that instantly award content for Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. Players who play in the Beta will not see the time played reflected in their Battle Pass, and these Tier Skips will be awarded at a later date.
>TeamRICOCHET is preparing for the arrival of the next phase in the RICOCHET Anti-Cheat system, the new PC kernel-level driver. Warzone will be the first title to receive the driver, launching alongside the Pacific update in December. The kernel-level driver, which is one element of the multi-faceted RICOCHET Anti-Cheat system, will be added to Call of Duty: Vanguard at a later date.
It's right there man...
They never said outright that custom mods would be in the game at launch. But in the post they mention the feature a couple of times with no indication that it had been delayed.
No.
"Part 3: Task Force One Pack Details (Ultimate Edition) Included in the Ultimate Edition (available on all consoles and PC via Battle.net) is the incredible Task Force One Pack, with content available and playable in both Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone. Here’s what you’ll receive: ......
The “Breacher” Assault Rifle includes special Tracer Rounds and eight pre-configured attachments. Built upon a weapon that is viable in most combat situations, the “Breacher” leans into its ability to be kitted for close-quarters, with several attachments coming together to maximize its fire rate on a level that competes with the fastest-firing Submachine Guns. The “Snowstorm” Rifle includes special Tracer Rounds and seven pre-configured attachments. A preferred weapon for one Polina Petrova, this long-range tool can deliver devastating one-shot eliminations with ease. Maximum damage can be achieved through two of the seven attachments on the “Snowstorm,” as a magazine with extra-large caliber bullets and an ammo type that is armor piercing combine to devastate both infantry and vehicular targets. The “Thunderhead” Submachine Gun that includes special Tracer Rounds and eight pre-configured attachments. Among these attachments for this accuracy-focused Submachine Gun are an extended magazine with 9mm ammunition, a short barrel that increases fire rate slightly and damage range significantly, and a recoil-boosting muzzle that uses that force to further improve fire rate.

I hope this gets addressed soon since considering the price tag of the Ultimate Edition, the least they could do is follow through with its benefits. I'm hoping it's just a bug and temporary.
Yes, they made sure you knew it.
“Built on the same tech and engine as Call of Duty: Vanguard, this map is visually appealing as it is ready to support this new game’s armaments, and will support fully optimized cross-play, cross-progression, and cross-gen support.”
Season One will begin on December 8, following updates to Vanguard and Warzone. Vanguard’s update is scheduled for December 6 at 9 PM PT. Warzone will schedule its update for when it shuts down its servers from December 7 at 9 PM PT to December 8 at 9 AM PT to prepare for Warzone Pacific.
"An icon redefined — Vanguard’s version of Shipment cranks the chaos to frenetic levels. We have the tips and tricks you need to survive it when it launches on November 17, a day prior to Vanguard’s Multiplayer Free Access."
Did you not read the blog? Nothing is being reset, and it isn’t being removed from MW. You keep the same skins, guns, unlocks, etc. Thats literally how they make their money anyone who thinks they’re gonna fuck with that hasn’t been paying attention.
The only thing different this time around is Vanguard will have additional specialized playlists in WZ that restrict your load out to Vanguard weapons only, and feature WW2 vehicles and streaks. The only exception is operators which will still be from all eras.
They literally had a wall of text write up the other day explicitly detailing how the integration will work. WZ specific info is towards the bottom
https://www.callofduty.com/blog/2021/10/vanguard-launch-pre-season-one-warzone-pacific-roadmap
They'll have it for both. There is operator XP.
> I wonder if they will just leave resurgence in MW for people to play and use their MW/Cold War skins in, and have a complete clean break with WZ proper in vanguard
They've actually already addressed this.
> Warzone will continue to support weapons and content earned with a Battle Pass or purchased via Store Bundle from Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® and Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War.
So essentially anything you can use currently will still be supported at this time. Personally, if they are at some point gonna remove content, they will stop selling it first. So during Vangaurds life we may see MW stuff stop being sold. If that happens, then MW content will likely be removed some time later. The reason I say that is because if they sell me a character, and a day later they remove it, or even a month later, people who bought them will be upset, and they would likely have to refund them. As they bought content they cant use within a reasonable time frame.
If you actually read the edition guide, it tells you exactly what you get. The Night Raid mastercraft comes with every edition, you're guaranteed it. The tier skips are not.
https://www.callofduty.com/blog/2021/08/Call-of-Duty-Vanguard-Editions-Pre-Order-Benefits-Detailed
>And as an added bonus: Players who pre-order the Ultimate Edition from the in-game Black Ops Cold War or Warzone stores will be rewarded with 10 Battle Pass Tier Skips, eligible to be used immediately in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.
So I saw that too, and was coming to correct OP, but seems Driftor may be correct. Call of Duty tweeted that 16 are core MP, and 4 are Champion Hill. Which means those 16 are including modes like gunfight, which has also been confirmed by Call of duty here. So its likely 12 6v6 maps, 4 gunfight maps, and 4 for champion hill.
"core MP" I think a lot of people misunderstood to mean 6v6. While Call of Duty seems to be lumping Gunfight into core mp
I'm glad that vehicles don't dominate the game. A high ttk is imperative to the success of a BR. Nobody wants to die in 3 bullets. I have no response to the lack of realism or immersion. That's not the intent of the game, but if you don't like it, that is a totally valid reason. I prefer my reading to be done outside of the game, so I'm fine with contracts "not being clear" in game. It would take a maximum of 5 minutes to understand each contract.
The game shoots up a yellow flare when someone starts a recon contract, alerts you when you are being hunted by a bounty contract, and tells you where a most wanted player is, or when you're most wanted. It's pretty straight forward.
If you've read the first Vanguard comic issue (see here: https://www.callofduty.com/vanguard/comics), you'll notice that Butcher had most of the Vanguard team joined before he recruited Arthur Kingsley and Richard Webb. I am 99% certain the blonde guy is Novak (European name, while referred to by Wade Jackson as a "bohunk", a slang term for European immigrant).
There are six issues planned in total for the series, so each of them will likely cover each member of Vanguard, meaning we're going to get one issue for Novak, in addition to Wade, Lucas and Webb.
They mentioned custom blueprints in a blog post before launch, made me assume it would be a launch feature. But I don't see them anywhere. Quite disappointed; by the time these were added to Cold War I'd lost interest in the game.
Exact quote:
> The Armory: Your personal collection of Weapon Blueprints and Custom Mods. Custom Mods are save slots unlocked by leveling a weapon. Customize a weapon with attachments and cosmetics, name it, and save it as a Custom Mod for quick access when creating new Loadouts.
Even on the Call of Duty website, link below, it lists the Combat Pacing options in detail. I think it's broken. I wanted to play tactical for the slower matches, but keep getting thrown into huge matches. Hopefully they fix this soon. Don't get me wrong, the one 48 player match on Castle that I played was pretty fun, and chaotic, made me want to take cover and shoot from cover, which was definitely a different CoD vibe that I'm used to, but I'd love to be able to choose when I play those matches. Details:
From the CoD Website:
– Tactical: These are the lobbies that franchise veterans know well. This is the experience that you’re used to with familiar Call of Duty combat timing. Tactical Combat Pacing always has a 12-player maximum in matches for traditional 6v6 play.
– Assault: Balanced combat pacing that gives you enough room to breathe and a lot of targets to kill. A middle ground between Tactical and Blitz featuring matches with 14 to 36 players (7v7 to 18v18) depending on the size of the map.
– Blitz: High-action lobbies where the intensity is cranked up to frenetic levels. Prepare for plenty of combat when choosing to join a Blitz, as matches here range from 16 to 48 players (8v8 to 24v24) depending on the size of the map.

Since Ricochet only runs during Warzone and Vanguard, it's safe to say that Treyarch will keep their own separate banlist since they have their own anticheat systems. Even if you're shadowbanned in Warzone you're not affected in Cold war, talking from personal experience since account linking password reset gave me a shadowban for some reason
You're good, youll be able to use everything youve paid for
> Warzone will continue to support weapons and content earned with a Battle Pass or purchased via Store Bundle from Call of Duty®: Modern Warfare® and Call of Duty®: Black Ops Cold War.
Quick Update for everyone. When i type in the whole URL www.callofduty.com/betaredeem it worked!

SO for everyone else this worked out for me
They've said they're remastering Castle and Dome:
>There will be maps coming to the full game that are love letters to those who enjoyed Call of Duty®: World at War. Returning from that era are Castle and Dome, which will receive changes through reactive environments. Castle, in its Vanguard form, will see all its iconic shoji screens become destructible.

>No, but seriously, how are people running around with these bundles early? Did they mod, cheat? Can I report them? How can I get them early, as well?
"If you see King Kong or Godzilla skins early, you are DELUSIONAL!" - JoeWo, 2022, Official gatekeeper of Warzone Pro Cheaters sponsored by NordVPN.

> Caldera is just the beginning of Vanguard’s full integration into Warzone, and there’s no better place to experience all this fresh content than in the dedicated Vanguard modes for Warzone Pacific.
The implication being (alongside previously datamined information) was that Warzone Pacific was supposed to be coming to the VG client and thus having a native current-gen version as well.
It’s on the CoD blog. Unfortunately it doesn’t name a release date for the third operator or her favorite gun, just generic ass “coming later in season 1” I wish there was a solid date, I want another operator to level up.
It was posted here on call of duty website Festive Fervor Event but i heard about it via youtube
I haven't seen the adverts that say "all modes, all guns, all maps", but on this post on their site it mentions it just being a few of the modes being accessible for the free trial. Is it possible you're getting mixed up with their last free trial that (apparently) did give you full access to all the different modes? I think if you can get someone to invite you into a game of Search & Destroy then it might work, although I get that this obviously isn't ideal
It’s supposed to be for anyone who bought or buys Vanguard before the 31st, but I got nothing. Event info link
> Except the fact they didn't say it was 1 region.
Has now launched worldwide, after 7 days of test elsewhere. (Please note Vanguard is still "at a later date", the same thing their initial announcement said)
https://www.callofduty.com/blog/2021/12/RICOCHET-Anti-Cheat-Progress-Report-Global-Deployment
Ah well according to the CoD developer blog every season offers four additional Prestiges across the first 200 Season Levels. So that would mean each future prestige consists of 50 levels.
The absurd part is release day they posted info saying it was in game
"Customize a weapon with attachments and cosmetics, name it, and save it as a Custom Mod for quick access when creating new Loadouts."

“This is all built on the same tech and engine as Call of Duty: Vanguard”
If you google Vanguard Pacific Update Engine there are tons of articles about it but Call of Duty themselves posted this on their site.
They said it like literally a month before launch that it'd be coming in Warzone first. Why the fuck did you buy it if that was gonna put you off?

This should be able to help with this question. https://www.callofduty.com/blog/2021/11/RICOCHET-anti-cheat-progress-report-post-vanguard-launch Note: post has been removed.
> It doesn't say it is only server sided
It does tho. From their website:

Warzone will be the first title to receive the driver, launching alongside the Pacific update in December. The kernel-level driver, which is one element of the multi-faceted RICOCHET Anti-Cheat system, will be added to Call of Duty: Vanguard at a later date.
The FULL ANTI CHEAT isn't live yet. Only the server side of it. They explicitly said so. You would've known this if you actually bothered to read what you linked here.
Wow, I had no idea that repeating what the developers had said about the mode was "spreading false shit". Thank you for that enlightenment.
https://www.callofduty.com/blog/2021/09/vanguard-intel-behind-the-scenes
So I went back and looked att the blog post. Surprisingly the answer is both yes and no.
> RICOCHET Anti-Cheat’s backend anti-cheat security features will launch alongside Call of Duty®: Vanguard, and later this year with the Pacific update coming to Call of Duty: Warzone.
So backend stuff is already in vanguard. What isnt in Vanguard is the Kernel level driver.

I mean if you’re confused on how infinity ward described their game, they didn’t use the words variety and definitely not slower paced combat.
https://www.callofduty.com/modernwarfare/multiplayer
Pay attention to the words they use to describe their game such as, action paced and fast paced, compared to your idea of how it’s supposed to be
Nearly every ATVI studio is/has been working on this game, so I wouldn't say it's impossible that at least an Infinity Ward dev team is involved on the game's release. However, IW's studio logo isn't on the e-mail sent as part of the initial Vanguard teaser marketing campaign, and the studio isn't mentioned on the Call of Duty Vanguard announcement post over at the CoD Blog. That leads me to believe the studio isn't involved with the game, at least not on full capacity aside from, perhaps, joint dev work related to the new CoD engine and its implementation.
Besides, things like weapon and sound design usually depend on a game studio's vision for their proyect. So I'd say those aspects of development are ultimately up to SHG and their devs' artistic vision.
That's crazy. I would suggest getting a new router first. You should look into a WiFi mesh system. I have the TPlink Deco system. My house is 3 stories, and the internet is in the bottom floor while my room is top floor. My mesh system eliminates any dead spots in the WiFi. You may benefit from that. They come in 2 or 3 access points.

I don't have any issues in any other games as well. In fact this is the first time it's happened to me. I was given advice on buying a "premium" hdmi cable just to be safe.

Different games have different deadzone thresholds. Checking for drift is quite easy. This is what I use on android:

On windows you can just google gamepad tester, there's an online tool you can use.
They sure do!
I think you meant XL2411Z. If that is the case, that monitor unfortunate will not do 120hz via HDMI cable.
Your best bet would be to sell it, and pick up a newer and more compatible monitor.
I just picked that monitor up a few weeks ago and it is absolutely amazing. Clear, fast, good colors, very easy to use menu.
