Chemistry isn't my field and I'd be worried about misinforming you. Here are a few options:
Actually read the book. I'm not sure if you do, but a lot of students don't. For science, I like to quickly skim the section to get a feel for its general idea, then read it line by line, sometimes multiple times through each line until I know what it's saying.
The ASC should have tutors.
If you don't know about Khan Academy, it has awesome videos, including a chemistry course. I can't vouch for chemistry, but its rudimentary university-level maths are pretty great.
Hope this helps!
It does exist. I've been there Geocaching. It is located here N 34° 36.116 W 082° 49.303 Here is the website of the Geocache. http://www.geocaching.com/geocache/GC4KCDF_black-walnut-juglans-nigra If the link doesn't work the name of the Geocache is Black Walnut located near Clemson. There are large black walnut trees there as well. It's located in Fants Grove if you know where that is at. I'm thinking it must have been a old homestead at one time.
Calculators are not allowed on 1060 or 1080 examinations, just be aware. To be honest, there are tons of tools on the internet now that can basically do everything a TI-89 can do for free. Wolfram Alpha can do about any kind of calculus and Desmos is an excellent graphing calculator. Both have Android/Apple apps.
I would set up an ifttt (if this then that) recipe to email you anytime a new "bianchi" is posted in the bicycle for sale section. I'd also manually check occasionally in case he/she doesn't list it with bianchi or any key words you use in your recipe.
EDIT: this will probably work for Ya...
My freshman year (2 years ago) I ended up buying an $1100 laptop off Amazon with a i7 7700HQ and 1050 ti (4GB). This was plenty of hardware for my solidworks (similar to CAD) class. My issue with all of the laptops that Clemson recommends are that you are paying almost twice as much for a slim, sleeker laptop. I'm not gonna lie, it is nicer to have a laptop like this though. I have a very nice Desktop (which I also had in my dorm in RiSE), so I sold my bulky, heavy gaming laptop and bought a $350 laptop and a $80 SSD specifically for class and couldn't be happier. I should also note I'm in IE, not ME.
I also want to explain that, in my solidworks class, A LOT of people had Macbooks, of all things. Clemson has a server or something that you can connect to to run Solidworks. I'd assume this is the same for CAD, but wouldn't be sure? If I had known this I never would have wasted my money on that first "gaming" laptop.
I also just found this laptop on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-IPS-Type-R7-3750H-GeForce-TUF505DU-EB74/dp/B07QQB6DC1
I believe this laptop will outperform any that you have listed above. I'm actually shocked how good this laptop looks, and slim as well.
Don’t know if he’s on the schedule for next semester, but if he is Brian Gaines is pretty good. I had him last spring and he was fun, fair, and gave extra credit.
Two tools I’d suggest you use when selecting professors are:
ratemyprofessors.com - Don’t just look at the number though. A professor with 2 reviews and a 2.5 rating might have one glowing 4.0 review and one angry student who obviously failed. Meanwhile 30 reviews averaging 2.5 with extremely mixed leaning negative reactions might be a bad idea.
Clemson’s Grade Distribution Reports - This shows what percent of students got a grade A-F and also a percent that dropped. Finding the course you’re looking for can be a bit awkward, but it’s worth the effort. High A or B rates usually signify a good professor.
Good luck with registration!
As Barbara doesn't want the class average to be too high, each letter grade has a quota. That is, a certain amount of people wil make an A, a B, and so on.
It's one of the many reasons why she's rated as one of the worst professors here on RateMyProfessor.
Edit: /u/HomingSnail explains it better in his/her post.
I paid ~$25 for a TV stand on Amazon convenient for console and other storage as well. In Byrnes, this fit under a bed with the recycle container, and the mini fridge, pretty perfectly.
We were planning on doing Twentymile loop right on the edge of the smokies, leaving Sunday morning and returning Tuesday! So 3 days, 2 nights. It's on AllTrails! https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/north-carolina/twentymile-loop-trail
There's not one for all of Clemson; it's just your "neighborhood" as defined by the app. You can go to nextdoor.com and give them your address and they'll put you in your neighborhood.
Here's a link to her Rate My Professor page
(The ratings are all pretty old, but it looks like she goes by Lea instead of Eleanor so that may help in google searches!!)
I never had to take a math class at Clemson, but RMP always helped me when selecting professors/understanding expectations they may have before the semester even starts.
Is there a reason you HAVE to take the class this semester?
Sorry man, my alien blue didn't send me a notification. We ride almost every Sunday at 10am. We went yesterday, went up grinder down Ungrinder then took a wrong turn and ended up almost in 6 mile. I had a blast, but it was a hell of a trip. I'm up to ride anytime!
Here was the ride, nothing fancy. Took a wrong turn at Albuquerque I guess.
Here you go man: https://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=161964303820673
You can see the officers on the little box to the left. Hopefully they want to do something, but they've been kind of uninterested in meeting with the Godless Greenville people, so who knows.
I recently purchased this one for my summer housing: Milliard 3 Inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper – Infused with Green Tea Extract and Gel Cooling Beads (Twin) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08NC6SNYD/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_B6R629790N84FWY739RB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Pretty comfy for the price
I've done a bit of reading and others have suggested that the required textbook and Mylab (which by now you know you have to have for homework) isn't a very thorough text and you may do well to buy access to another textbook by Larson. I've encouraged my son to rent this book on Amazon. for $17 - they say it has more/better sample problems. (BTW< my son is taking Math 2060 which I understand is also called Calc 3, but they have the same required/recommended books.) https://www.amazon.com/Calculus-Transcendental-Functions-Ron-Larson/dp/1285774779/ref=sr_1_6?keywords=calculus+larson&qid=1566500989&s=books&sr=1-6
For modems, Motorola and Arris have been kind of the standard for a while. Check on Amazon for something with a lot of reviews (and check for DOCSIS 3.0 or 3.1, those are newer). Don't spend more than $100, it'll pay for itself in like 1.5 years. I wouldn't get an integrated modem / router combo, those tend to have issues. I'd get a separate router. Personally, I have an ASUS brand and it's great. Linksys and Netgear are also well known. https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-Dual-Band-Super-Fast-Gigabit-RT-ACRH13/dp/B01LXL1AR8 I'd spend no more than $70 on a router (and no less than $50) for an average apartment.
I'm pretty sure we used Yookoso, but later transitioned to the Genki series of books. So, if you're looking for a beginner textbook, Genki I is probably what you would want to look at! It's generally considered one of the best.
Also, you can check out r/LearnJapanese and their starting guide, for more beginner resources.
Not sure what the CS specs will be, but this laptop has really good specs for the price. I've used it for 2 years now, had zero problems that weren't caused by me.
https://www.amazon.com/Asus-Q534UX-2-1-i7-7500U/dp/B01M5BBIJS
And it runs BL2 like a charm, logged over 400 hours on this bad boy. Feel free to add me on steam, same username
I definitely wouldn't ever take the risk with a street mattress because that is just asking for bedbugs. Nowadays you can just order mattresses online with free shipping because modern foam ones can be rolled up for shipping. Something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Lucid-Memory-Dual-Layered-Mattress-Queen/dp/B00NX8GDSE
It's an easy MIG100 w/ flux core wire. Here's the direct link: http://www.amazon.com/MIG-100-Flux-Wire-Welder/dp/B000VICINI I think I have it listed for $90 on craigslist and fb as well. It's been used twice to weld something on my vehicle, but other than that, it's pretty new. Comes w/ gloves and mask.
As for tools, nothing too interesting: vice, saw, plastic mitre, and electric buffer for sale
I'm doing the Bridge program this year, and I got an email talking about one of Clemon's mobile apps. There is an app called Clemson University Events (App Store link), and if you download the "New Student Orientation" Guide it shows you just about everything you need to know. Seriously, there is so much information in this app it's insane. It goes over everything you should do pre-orientation, orientation schedules by day, a campus map, emergency information, contact numbers, it's awesome. Check it out man, seriously.
This app has everything you need to know for orientation; Maps, schedules, everything you need done pre-orientation, emergency contacts, it's seriously a great tool.
There's also a section specifically for Bridge to Clemson students (like me) so check it out!
