Found pretty close to what we use on Amazon

Yeah our screen printer for smt has two shitty cameras for aligning the paste.. then Quality has two Mantis scopes.. 8x and 18x I think, they also have a z vision that they use on a pc monitor... my AOI machiene has the best camera in the shop tho, but it's gotta be since it's checking polarity, value, orientation, solder, ect... I think I can go up to 40x.. it's a little grainy at that magnification but you can get the gist of what ur looking at.
I'm going to have to check out LV website, Amazon doesn't have anything higher than 36g really.
The most useful tool I've found for really wide types of builds is a jeweler's vice. Not sure if links are allowed, but here's an Amazon link anyway, and I'll get rid of it if it's not. https://www.amazon.com/Hand-Vise-Jewelers-Metalsmith-Hobbyist/dp/B000RB1KX8
Comes in handy. I used a set of calipers to mark the center, but even so it's still a bit difficult to get wiress exactly centered in it. As long as you're pretty close though, there's usually no issues.
These are the best thing I've found to keep cores straight. I don't use these particular ones but I'm sure it would probably work. 10 Pack - Premium Single Hole Cord Locks - Small Round Plastic Pop Toggle Bead with Spring Lock - Adjustable Slider End Stopper for Lanyard Drawstrings, Paracord & More by Specialist ID (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08M7Z2XY1/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_i_JKZ9RGMYCSKN5AE39VB8?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I got mine here! Although sizes like that are not generally manufactured in Nichrome80 or Kanthal.
Although, @the_vaping_aussie on Instagram has located and ordered some bulk 39AWG Nichrome80. Further inquires about that would have to go through him.
"anyone could have made"
lol just find the actual fucking pdf
you weren't even trying to be nice you said "lol you're wrong...douche bag"
asshole
nah when i first got my griffin a few months ago i picked up this to get an idea of what wire i'd like to use. Friday i'm ordering some more wire so i'll short through and see what else i wanna get start "building" more than regular ole coils.
You need some good quality ball bearing swivels, better than what you can get from your local Walmart (experience, lol).
[Here](www.amazon.com/dp/B00130E3IQ/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_AX73HD7X51DD9W3DCDAW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1) is what worked well for me from Amazon. I'd expect you can do just as well at a fishing shop.
I don't know about op, but I picked up some plain 22g 316l beadlon wire from amazon for about 10 bucks at 32ft. Beadalon Round Wire 316L Stainless Steel 22 Gauge, 10-Meter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001R8LLW0/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_6gdsub0YQ1X67
Man this conversation has me back fired up to get one. I got on amazon and the prices have dropped so much it's really affordable now. This one has decent reviews if used right and the price point has it in the realm I could do it now but I'll probably be wiser and wait till my next bonus still. I wish I would have looked a week ago I've nearly spent that much on new mods and vape gear this month. I'm excited to see them in the price range to it's so much more in reach now. Last time I looked they were still closer to $1K
Here's a micro lens adapter I snagged for $25 off of Amazon. It's quite nice and comes with a wide-angle lens as well. For $10 more than the cheaper ones it's a steal of a deal!

Rake across the coil with something stiff like you're strumming a guitar. This gets the hotspots out 10 times out of 10 for me. I have ceremic tweezers like this (different brand, same tweezer), and use the opposite end (as in the non-tweezing end) to do it.
Get some cord locks like these
Set up a few along the length of the wire and move them back as you go. If you do it right it should keep everything in line pretty well.
It's this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00YNZRDL2
I put a folded sticky note under one side so the wires would be able to easily slide through the gears. It still works, just a tad dented. 30g, maybe 28g, would probably work fine, but I don't know what I could use corrugated round wire for. Got a few ideas, I've been trying to get what I like to refer to as "Stegosaurus Spines", it's basically an odd core build with a bump in the middle and parallel fuse keeping it all together. Everything I've ever tried is impossible to wrap into a coil:
I did two claptons with a stretched, decored 28 over 24g clapton on top, not in between, of those, fused with twisted 40g over the valleys of the spines, and I couldn't wrap it flat, just kept folding over.
Tried the three cores with a larger initial core, decored staggered clapton in the center, parallel fusing and it folded into a triangle when fusing and was impossible to wrap, but I did get a better understanding of parallel claptoning. It's just the only thing I've been able to think of, I just really wanna be the guy who made a build concept... even if it's crappy. I'm probably just romanticizing it in my head.
The swivels are These ones from Amazon I have some size 3 and size 9 chained together. The rest of the hardware is from big radio control airplanes. I have some 4-40 Titanium turnbuckles and Some 4-40 Clevis' that my spinners are attached to. This allows me to crank the turnbuckle to add as much tension as I want to the cores. It keeps everything perfectly parallel and it helps tremendously in keeping things flat when your working with 3-4 cores. It's probably less than $30 total in hardware including the spinners and damn does it make a huge difference.
Here is a better look at the vise and drill ends of the setup.
I ended up ordering this: Ultrasonic Cleaner $28.99 from Amazon. It had good reviews and a decent sized basket. I figure if it sucks Amazon is super easy to return. It will be interesting to post some before and after close ups of wire after cleaning since it's obvious there is a tiny amount of dust and probably skin getting left in the wire from handling it while making it.
I made my 1st triple core a few weeks back and used these https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00W129RIQ/ref=cm_sw_r_sms_apa_aoa0ybFP07HMJ think I used 3 or 4 on a 14 inch section. They are pretty strong , so I put a little bit of tape on the inside edges to keep the cores safe.
here ya go its ok but id totally recommend getting a 10x to get both coils or 20x for single coil pics. 25x is a pain the photo i took was at the farthest the focus could go any its challenging to get the full coil in the pic.
i use these

basically the way it works already is the spool pretty much sits right up to the tool. There is never any messes or issues. i have a working prototype i made last night. Ill upload a video of how it works in a little bit. I haven't seen any other clapton tools with this kind of idea yet.

Never done twisted builds before myself, but from what I've seen I'd say your twists are a little too loose. They do make special pliers for twisting wires that make it much easier to get good twists on craft wire, so I'd imagine they'd work great for the job. Get yourself one of these and it'll give you nice tight twists every time.
I grabbed it off Amazon here:

If you are the impatient type, you can pick it up at any major craft store in the jewelry making section. It is Beadalon 22ga square stainless steel wire. Comes in 24-18 GA, I have both 24 and 22 to play with.

(Edited to tag another person asking)
is this the one you are talking about?
or this one? are they all basically the same?
lol i hated the orchid for a minute, but it was mostly because i didnt have the right wire nippers to get my builds the way i wanted them in there. new pair for $5 off amazon and that problems solved. if you dont have a pair of these i highly reccomend them
shoot for, aluminum plates. If any damage occurs you want it to occur to the plates. Assuming you will end up using it for more than just wire presses; a softer metal is what u want. We have a set of aluminum plates in the lab. My Mentor bought a set of jewelers from etsy.
this may fit your bill

I dunno but its annoying as hell to have to deal with different types of screws. Its almost like its planned obsolescence, they have poor durability and they don't even give you spares most time for authentics.
My favorite are the typical M2-0.4 screws, that the igo-w uses and the patriot rda uses. Awhile back I ordered some 316 stainless steel ones with a rounded drive to make stripping impossible. Thankfully they fit this plume veil I just got and I immediately switched them in. I wish they were the standard, I like to overtighten and get my leads very tightly secured til the wires nearly about to cut, that sweet spot where it takes some actual torque to start unscrewing it, and these make it an absolute breeze
