It's clear to me that most people do not understand what Early Access actually means.
> What is Early Access?
> Get immediate access to games that are being developed with the community's involvement. These are games that evolve as you play them, as you give feedback, and as the developers update and add content.
> We like to think of games and game development as services that grow and evolve with the involvement of customers and the community. There have been a number of prominent titles that have embraced this model of development recently and found a lot of value in the process. We like to support and encourage developers who want to ship early, involve customers, and build lasting relationships that help everyone make better games.
> This is the way games should be made.
Update 2
I restored the game.db to the new server, however I did not do just a flat file copy. Instead I exported the old game.db as an SQL file. Opened it and removed the "Create Table" lines which left just the "INSERT INTO" lines. I then copy pasted it into the new server and executed the commands. Once it was completed, I was able to log into the new server and verified Character Data was correct. I placed a new box, rebooted the server, and still the box disappears after a reboot.
This proves that it is something wrong with the way the old database was designed/read over the new database. I hope this helps in further testing u/Odonoptera
Edit: Here is a fresh log for you: https://hastebin.com/cuyezovobo.md
Yep! The map is nearing marker completion (first round) the Nordheim area and the area west of that will be added by Wednesday evening at the latest.

Here you go. I had an 8 gig Dell. I put 16 gigs in it for more overhead. My internet averages around 50 30 which is great for about a 10ish person server with no issues 5 of us played so far with zero lag the server averages around 4-6 gigs of ram while running

Sounds like you've done a bit of reading but just in case you haven't read it Robert E Howard wrote an essay explaining the history of the world that he used as a reference guide when writing to keep the world consistent. It's a great start to learning about the lore.

The link goes to a tweet with an affiliate link to amazon.com (US), so this reddit post is probably an ad or spam, right?
Here's the link to amazon without the affiliate. It's only for console versions, only 23% off, that's still $38.35. I payed 23.99€ (~$27,14) about five months ago for the steam PC version.
Greenmangaming has it for 20% off right now FYI. https://www.greenmangaming.com/games/conan-exiles/
400+ hours in it on a private server (to which I threw 10 bucks toward a 6 month subscription for us all). I paid 29.99 for the game and feel like I got very much my money's worth. This was BEFORE the swamp and volcano were added, so I'd say yes with a caveat of how you intend to play.
Official servers aren't great.
Private Servers with friends are the best way to experience any of these games.
Solo? Well yeah you can play solo, but these types of games arent really designed to keep a solo player THAT entertained.
Hmm. You signed up for an Early Access game, which flat out tells you shit will be busted and you will lose everything over and over again. If you find that "Unacceptable", then you must be an idiot. Especially since you have no idea what fixing the bug entails. Rolling back would be a mistake that wouldn't allow them to find the bug easily, and obviously if it were patch-able in a few hours it would have been. They aren't sitting back going "Hahaha, fuck those guys!".
Here's a better link for Conan specific books. Phil Chenevert does some great readings and I really like listening to A Witch Shall be Born because of the setting in Exiles.
I looked at Gameservers, but They have poor Trust Pilot reviews. GTX however.

I should have looked here before choosing my company and avoided Survival Servers.
You cannot build around a corner like that, as the wedges are equilateral triangles. What is missing in this game is a right isosceles triangle, that kan fill a gap between squares. Or allow you to make a square "sticking out" of your corner, rotated 45 degrees.
I understand your struggle. I suggest testing some builds on single player (with admin cheats), so you don't waste mats. Or you can use Google Drawings to make a layout.
By the way a height map, by itself, doesn't do caves. It requires layered heightmaps for that. The Conan Exiles mod kit is just a modified version of the Unreal Engine game editor and all the tools of that are available, including creating layered heightmaps, etc. You should be able to use assets purchased from the Unreal Marketplace, other than plugins, in you game mod (https://www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/en-US/store). Technically you can also get the regular Unreal editor from Epic Games (it's free!) and make your own stuff, and not just games. Doing something like this first would be could learning and practice before you move on to larger projects, like your own CE game maps. At least with those you can include plugins in your project.
so if I want to do it then I will need to upgrade my CPU? how does this look?
how much would that help?
The glass building pieces suffered when the update made it so that transformations of a single blueprint no longer work properly, they have to all be rebuilt with their own meshes. Check the discord for progress.

It seens that autohotkey is broken for xbox one controller on windows 10, found this topic: https://autohotkey.com/boards/viewtopic.php?f=14&t=21230 Well, I might as well play on keyboard and mouse for some time.
Another strawman argument from you....most of what you've offered me in this statement has nothing to do with what we're actually discussing, which as you did point out in the last bit of the statement is whether or not being carried by someone and not getting carried in return makes them your slave. I tried to use an example that I assumed everybody could relate with using the mother example, I then tried a more historic example, but for some reason you don't seem to get the idea that carrying someone, and not being carried in return is not grounds for announcing someone is not a slave. The thralls in the game are captured by the player, taken away from their supposed home, forced to do hard labor until their so exhausted they don’t have the will to fight, and then they are forced to create items for the players pleasure or they are forced to dance in an endless cycle never allowed to stop or go back to their camp, imprisoned in the players castle until they’re invaded and the thralls are killed. The fact that the payers have to drag them from one place to another does not mean they aren’t slaves, it just means the player is a nice captor or that the thralls are worth enough to be dragged instead of outright killed.
https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/slave as you can see nothing about being carried.
Try using this program called DS4 because AFAIK you can't just plug in a ps4 controller to a PC and expect it to work. (I guess steam actually did come out with an update but its only for steam games and I don't think it's 100% for every game) Here is the website, http://ds4windows.com/. As the website says it emulates an xbox 360 controller so you also need to download the drivers for that as well from a microsoft website. It's pretty straightforward on the DS4 website on what you are supposed to do. If you need more help just PM and i'll help you figure out. Best of luck : )
You were kicked, not banned. And you didnt "ask" about the restarts, you were a massive asshole because you didnt read the restart schedule. Heres a screenshot of the conversation.

I use one every day for Conan.
ping goes from 160 to 50
Before we go any further, however, let’s establish the basic facts: most of the time, a VPN will reduce your internet speed. If you have a healthy and efficient internet connection and you add encryption and a proxy server to it, your speed is bound to decrease.
However, numerous users have experienced better browsing speeds when using a VPN. They aren’t a majority, but their cases offer an interesting look at how the internet works and how VPNs can improve your online life.
Not tested, but:
Read the mod description/discussions. You can map the keys to other keys, maybe map them to your controller buttons ?
Or use an external app?

I'm sorry but you're retarded or the OP is right and you're the hacker.
Please watch this video https://sendvid.com/bcbrmp62 from 9:30 until the end.
The NoName player explicitly states 'the coder of the engine uses them 'way more devastating' than the way he uses them. NoName says he uses them. He clearly says it. You are either deaf or retarded.
It's certainly not a problem with your PC.
The three points of failure are Steam, your ISP, and your router. You can try different steam servers, View -> Settings -> Downloads -> Download Region. As per the help text, it automatically uses the one geographically closest to you, not necessarily the fastest.
I know you say only Conan has the problem, but does it really? A speed test (for example https://speedof.me/ ) will give you a real world measurement of your speed. Is it within 5-10% of the bandwidth package you're paying for? Cable/fiber should be 30-90+ Mbps, Satellite probably 20 Mbps or worse. Even though 2.5 Mbps would be enough for downloading and gaming, if I saw a download speed under ~15 I would suspect there are other major problems with the connection than just speed, nobody really offers speeds that low unless you live somewhere extremely remote. Anyway, solution to this problem is requesting a service technician from your ISP
Or you could have various conflicting settings on your router. Too many variables to really diagnose from my desk, but a last resort could be a factory reset of the thing (this will wipe passwords and forwarded ports etc., so recrd important stuff in a notebook or text document)
go nuts. https://www.gametracker.com/server_info/66.55.149.109:24000/
The server name is Krackheads of Death if you search you'll find stuff, its pretty empty right now since it's only a few of us playing at night but hopefully more people stumble over it.
Edit: Also that says 2x for harvesting and stuff, it was lowered to 1.5 for gathering, 2x xp, and crafting speed was reduced by just over half.
Del Rey has a trio of books that comprise just about every one of Howard's original Conan stories, plus or minus some trunk stuff. A great deal of care was taken with these to consult Howard experts and use the best available texts, so they're quality.
https://www.amazon.com/Coming-Conan-Cimmerian-Barbarian-Book-ebook/dp/B000FBJE24
Between Del Rey and the Robert E. Howard Foundation, nearly every word Howard ever wrote is either published or in the process of being published. It's a vast undertaking, since the dude wrote so much in the thirty years of his life. Del Rey also has a couple of best of volumes that sample broadly from almost everything he did, so if you like the Conan stuff and want to see what else of his you might like, check those out.
There are also loads of free audiobook versions of varying quality.
Additionally, if you're ever anywhere in the vicinity of Abilene, TX, you're not far from Howard Country. It's worth a trip to Cross Plains to go see the Howard House, now with added storm cellar!
Hi, currently the data is gathered from the Wiki, validated and bundled as JSON files with the App via a Java program. So it's automatic for the most part.
A char editor would be cool, yet a bit complicated to implement.
A map is already in the App, the App has been around for some time and already have a few thousand users. You can view resources, monsters, trainer etc on the map right now.

This is a perfectly good card for a gaming PC that is slightly above "entry level".
You could also likely find a good 16GB kit for around $120
While that guy isn't wrong about the price of GPUs going up, he IS wrong about it costing an arm and a leg for a "decent" GPU.. the "Decent" GPUs are not what Crypto miners are after and it never will be.
You don't need bleeding edge gear to enjoy PC gaming.. not even close.
If you and your buddies are serious about the idea of switching to PC, get together and talk it out amongst yourselves about it and do the research, you can get in with a solid PC for 600-750 dollars..
Exactly this, this is purely a cultural difference. Yeah it sucks to hear but, the Chinese view winning by any means necessary. You can complain and get upset, they don't see things eye to eye. If you've read any Conan books, you should also read a book by a famous Chinese general, The Art of War, a book by Sun Tzu.
