I dont think the Prosecution were on his side at all rather they were completely out if their depth in such a big trial. They were grasping at straws here because they knew they were going to lose. At the end of the day the evidence was presented to the Jury to make their decision. It's perfectly valid to recognise that there is a scientific consensus that climate change bought about by human activity is real. You can contend the consensus, but you can not contend that the consensus exists. It is then prudent, if you are not an active participant dedicated to any scientific field, to accept the consensus view of the experts. All the more so because it becomes very difficult to extract expert knowledge from crackpot knowledge unless you're intimately familiar with all the details. It would be very ignorant to contend any scientific consensus without having expert knowledge.
This is not to say that it's not valid to contend the consensus after it exists. But to do so with any level of validity would require an extraordinary effort to become intimately familiar with the field, and dedicate yourself to it. Otherwise you're just reiterating half-baked bullshit from unreliable sources that do not stand up to expert peer review.

According to newsguard, that source isn't very reliable. I was hoping that you would have some more concrete studies, but its still probably too early for studies proving if its effective or not against fighting covid.
The government was correct, we had eliminated covid from our country for 100 days. These 100 days gave us time to prepare for another outbreak there was always going to be another one at some stage, we are now doing record number covid testing.
The COVID tracing is pretty good, we are getting to 80% of people within 48 hours. The main reason for going back into lockdown is to prevent the amount of between people while they are being tracked down. I can't imagine how they will make that time better without tracking people at all times, but we will see.
Have you ever run a project at your job? People make mistakes all the time, hell even NASA makes mistakes resulting in rockets blowing up. Its a bit delusional to expect there not to be outbreaks every now and again, but when there are outbreaks, we can limit the damage done by going into small lockdowns, and the more often it is done, the better we will get at it because you learn from your mistakes, and you get more prepared for next time.

The book talks about moving into a one world government, but they need a way to unite the world and came up with the idea that pollution, global warming, water shortages, famine, would fit the bill. It would be a perceived common threat to unit everyone together into a global society.
Go back to the 1970's where the scare in the media was global cooling, where everyone was going to freeze to death from a new ice age.
Then it changed to Global Warming in the 80's and 90's and then they had to get rid of that as from the 2000's all the data was showing a cooling again. That is when they came up with Climate Change, its not possible to be wrong as the climate seasonally changes every year.
Check out Climategate from 2009 where hacked emails exposed the collusion to cover up and hide the Medieval Warm period where temperatures were warmer than today. They come up with a statistical manipulation called the "Hockey Stick" to hide this.

Quite an interesting read, his ebook is available on Amazon too (I'm making my way through it now). Dr Nakamura has excellent credentials and is highly qualified to speak on the subject. There are so many flawed assumptions that climate models make, it's nice to have someone speaking up about it to combat the hysteria. From the interactions I've had I can't believe the number of people who rabidly shriek about imminent apocalypse and death, I wonder how well they understand the science themselves? It's become a mainstream doomsday cult.
