This stuff is incredible. You squeeze to apply the glue and then hold the light on it for 10 second.
It's as strong as it gets. Do it to the back side and you will never notice.
It has literally held my glasses together at the nose for a year.

Son,
A book that really helped me in my 20s understand relationships better was On Love, don't sweat trying to find the perfect, there is no one, there are many, and appreciate any journey you have, be it 1 date or 15 years of marriage and counting =)
Note that I linked to the book, but you can probably get it free at your library.
Every outdoorsy guy I know likes good, useful pocket knives. Here's a link for a good quality one.
If you don't care for that one, here's the one I carry at work every day.
I had a plumber once who told me make most of their money because people use products like Draino on clogs. Apparently it does more harm than good. He recommended a crystalline product called Glug and now I can't imagine owning a home without it. You have to be careful applying it, because inhaling it is quite dangerous, but the results on your drains are dramatically better.
Also, for bathroom sinks you should frequently run very hot water for an extended period to melt away the soap/toothpaste/hair product buildup that happens over time. Heating water to near boiling and then pouring it down the drain produces the same result.
Have you tried something like this?

IMHO it's better to try to pull the problem up then push it down farther.
If there's possibly stagnant cleaner in the pipe, be sure to wear eye protection and rubber gloves.
50k isn’t that much, as long as you haven’t skipped oil changes, your brakes aren’t squealing, no warning lights amd no leaks (look for wet spots where you park, note AC will leave a water spot) you should be fine.
Consider a hitch it’s more versatile then a roof rack. You can rent a small trailer way cheaper then anything with an engine, 1000lb can pull a lightweight small trailer with bulky but light items.
You can also get a hitch platform carrier and put bins on it, https://www.amazon.ca/Camco-48475-Hitch-Carrier-Eaz-Lift/dp/B01J6DMIYC/ref=asc_df_B01J6DMIYC/?tag=googlemobshop-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=293011951324&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=88820733193765447&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&...
Also a hitch bike carrier is way nicer for daily use then a roof bike carrier if you plan on biking a lot. Anything on your roof really hurts fuel economy and it can be tough to lift it up onto the roof.
Uhaul is reasonable for hitch installs. When buying a hitch platform or bike carrier note there are 2 sizes of receiver 1 inch and 1 1/4 inch. make sure you get the right one.
Moths are attracted to light, so you'll have to:
Personally, I think moths are part of the ecosystem and you shouldn't kill them or use an insecticide.

You can buy a diagnostic tool that plugs into you car and with an app, it will tell you what's wrong.
And the port is just under the steering wheel...download the app, plug it in and it will tell you what is wrong...that way you know what the actual fault is before some mechanic BS's you with all sorts of palaver...and if you know, do a search on it and it could be a simple fix or part replacement that you can do yourself.
It just may not be loud enough. I have this monstrosity in my bedroom on at all times day or night.

I know it's totally ridiculous, but "what works, works"
Good luck. I hope you find a solution that works for you and I hope you don't have to go as crazy as I did.
Much love.
Amazon carries memory-foam units that are vacuum-packed rolled-up, and will be delivered to your doorstep.
<strong>HERE'S</strong> an idea of what I'm talking about. Something like this would be simple & affordable.
Yup, you should be able to connect the HDMI cable and watch it directly. That's the cheapest and simplest solution.
However, a possible downside is if you like to use your laptop while you have things on in the background. You probably don't want to get a long HDMI cable (they're expensive) so you can have your laptop a comfortable viewing distance away while you use it.
I note you say "Prime" is one of the things you want to watch on it. Presuming that's Amazon Prime Video and you use their service, I recommend you pick up an Amazon FireTV Stick Lite. $20 and you can have it tomorrow, probably. It'll let you stream Netflix, Prime Video, HBO Max and basically any other service you want, and not tie your laptop up while you do it. I have their more expensive version (the FireTV Cube) and regularly watch Prime, HBO, Disney+, Hulu, and Netflix on it, and the cheaper version should still support all of that easily.
Good luck!
Those are actually some slightly more difficult materials to drill, but you can do it! Both tile and plexiglass are prone to cracking or shattering when you drill, so you'll want to make sure you're using the right bits. For tile, you'll likely want a carbide-tipped masonry bit like this one and they make specialty bits for plastic as well like this.
Take your time, don't press very hard, and let the drill do all the work for you. You may want to start with a smaller hole first, and then move up to a larger bit until you get to the size of your fastener, since taking out more material at once will make it more likely to chip or break.
As for fasteners, since you said you're attaching this to the wall, you'll want to know what the structure of the wall is made of. If the wall is tile, and you're in the US, it's likely drywall or plaster underneath. I don't know about construction in other areas. You'll know it's drywall if you get a white powder coming out of the hole once you're through the tile. Drywall and plaster aren't hugely strong, so you may want to look at wall anchors. There are lots of styles of wall anchors, and they're not very expensive. You'll want to estimate the weight of whatever you're hanging and then double or triple that number to choose your anchors and make sure it definitely won't fall.
Lastly, be careful drilling into a wall, since it's possible there's electrical wires or plumbing hidden behind the wall, and damaging those can be a real problem. Again, go slow, let the drill do the work, and wear gloves and eye protection. You can do this!
If you liked this, I would highly suggest getting the audiobooks (or real books if you like to read) of Jordan B. Peterson's <em>12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos</em> and <em>Beyond Order: 12 More Rules</em>.
While Jordan is (according to some) a somewhat controversial political figure (even though his political views are actually fairly moderate), his advice in these two books is really solid regardless of your political views, and he has a chapter dedicated to each of these rules (except the last one, that one is mine, but pulled from some of his youtube lectures).
Instead of "working on getting better at waking up," make it happen. Either you are committed to doing something about it or you are not. Make it happen by going to sleep at a reasonable time and getting up in the morning, every day. If you can't wake up, get an alarm clock that ensures it, like this one.
In my experience, people that "just can't seem to do X", often don't really want to do X. They bitch and moan about how hard X is and half-ass things in a way that ensures X doesn't really happen, and then bitch and moan about the consequences of not doing X.
For many young people, the problem is that they have never really been held accountable, as is the case with you. Your parents are giving you a hard time, which makes you feel guilty and anxious, but there are no real consequences: you still get to eat, you have a warm bed to sleep in, you have clothes, etc.
My advice is to stop feeling guilty and just do something about it. Make it your job to find a job. If it was your goal to work full-time over the summer, then work full-time on finding a job until you find one. Spend 8 hours a day working on it, from 8 to 5 every day with a one hour lunch break. Set goals for how many jobs you will apply for each day or week. Set tasks for yourself that you can work on that will help you land a job. Walk around and apply at every place near you. Etc.
It's looking good, especially for a younger guy like yourself. I couldn't grow a decent beard till after age 40.
As for improvement, it's really just hair. Keep it clean, and use some sort of conditioner to keep it soft and prevent itch. I'm very partial to Cremo Beard and Scruff Cream. This is the stuff I use. I hope it helps. https://smile.amazon.com/Cremo-Styling-Nourishes-Moisturizes-Lengths/dp/B0744LDWNB/ref=mp_s_a_1_9?crid=3MIPKO1ZCIR72&keywords=cremo+beard+and+scruff+cream&qid=1655680889&sprefix=creamo+%2Caps%2C179&sr=8-9
I am going to add on a basic socket wrench set like what I've linked. Doesn't have to be that exact set or brand. Socket wrenches are useful for working on cars and in the home. Good basic stuff for your toolkit.
In the US we see LOTS of sets that have both metric and imperial sizes. Not sure how many non-metric bits of hardware you are likely to come across in the UK. If it is still a thing then go for a set that has both kinds of sockets.
And good for you for getting some basic kit. You'll be ready to tackle some basic jobs. You'll eventually also strip a nut, scrape your knuckles, curse a bit, and then call a plumber just like dear ol' dad.
Love,
Dad que_he_hecho
Just gonna tack a few things on here. * Do not rent your furniture it's better to buy from a second hand store or Facebook marketplace.
Make sure the area where you park is well lit. If it's not tell management you feel unsafe and would like it installed ( text or email)
Get a lock installed that locks from the inside on the main door.
Check to make sure the windows have locks if they don't Amazon sells a variety of window locks.
If you have a sliding glass door get a security bar installed.
Security cameras are also a good idea.
Be aware of your surroundings. I'm super happy your out on your own. You got this!
Ditch the ration bar and get a thing of freeze dried food instead like this
Mountain House Breakfast Skillet | Freeze Dried Backpacking & Camping Food | Survival & Emergency Food https://www.amazon.com/dp/B084J5J995/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_813KKH76EZTJJ1MGPD38?psc=1
It's a bit more expensive and u gotta heat it but it'll keep u fed for a week and it's pretty tasty also grab some emergency flares great for starting fires signaling people and hella fun to play with when your bored also a life straw and hand crank radio possibly one u can charge your phone with like this
FORTECLEAR 5000mAh Hand Crank Solar Emergency Radio, 3W LED Flashlight/Reading Lamp Weather Radio, NOAA/AM/FM Portable Radio Indoor and Outdoor, SOS Alarm and Phone Charge, Survival Gear for Hurricane https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09LYPR786/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_7VR6FKYCZ8309J0PQMK0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Those ration bars you have are just terrible when it comes to taste texture and flavor it's like eating a really old crunchy granola bar.
One last thing grab a semi nice poncho like from car heart or something and good luck :D
This is really ironic given the conversation but... so what exactly is your question? :-)
Are you trying to figure out how to get things done, whether to take medicine, work, home, relationships? If you say all of that, okay but probably better to start with 1-2 areas and build from there.
I don't have any data (important disclaimer) about ADHD and other drugs, but I could see how someone would feel like something's missing after going off ADHD medication. I used to take medicine, and I remember a big difference was that I would decide to go to bed. Now, I feel driven to keep doing stuff even if I'm not really being productive with it. The last two nights, I've sat down to read and there goes 1.5 hours (or 90 minutes, whichever you prefer). I read some, and then feel like I should just keep reading. I can't go to sleep until It's so late that I'm completely exhausted.
For work, sometimes I feel overwhelmed but I keep trying things to help get me on the right track. Today, I wrote down 4 things to do. I have 100s really, but I picked the priorities. I'm using https://super-productivity.com/ to try and help keep me focused; knowing there is a clock counting my time helps keep me on track.
I sit so that I don't face any windows. Seeing people or cars go by would distract me.
Right now, I am finishing lunch and then have one big priority left. I'll ignore emails or calls for an hour to make sure I get that knocked out.
Let me know what else you're looking for and I'll try to fill-in more details.

Been shaving mine for about 5ish years now. Eat advice I can give is drop the cash and buy an electric shaver, one that pivots and has at least 3 “blades”. Saves the knicks, smoother and quicker if done every other day. Something similar to this. I’ll tell you the more you spend the better the results.
Listen to Part 1 and you know what? Part 2 coming at ya! Hope these help you!!! Give'm a listen.
Nice work kiddo. I to this day use an electric because my beard is pretty light. Shaving and trimming your beard is good mental maintenance. I also use a guide.
There is fabric repair tape you could try. I am not sure how well it would bond on this surface but I have used a similar product to repair a damages fake leather couch
Rice and beans. Lentils can be substituted for any dish you'd use ground beef in. 1 cup dry is equivalent to a pound of ground beef. For inexpensive recipes, Spend with Pennies is great. In print, the More with Less cookbook is fantastic.
I find I have less facial irritation if I use a safety razor (and the blades are cheaper than cartridge razors, too.)
I also prefer to shave in the shower, although you might have to wait until you're paying the electric bill for that one.
If you have a lot of persistent skin irritation, try using a non-alcohol aftershave product.
Welcome to the tool collection part of life. From now on you collect knowledge, skills, and implements to do the things that you want to do. While you're building your Amazon list, add one of these screwdrivers. They're $15 so maybe order 3 so that you have one in the car, one in the kitchen junk drawer and one in your office. They are very high quality, cover probably 90% of the fasteners that you'll encounter around the house (furniture, cabinets, TV mounts, outlets, drawer pulls, washer dryer pipe clamps, packaging, bicycle brakes, etc.), and should last a lifetime.

You have a great tool there, great little convertible driver to get in tight places!
Go get the latest edition of What Color Is My Parachute?
It’s a guy who takes a scientific approach to finding a dream job. I’ve used his strategies and techniques to land jobs in industries and locations where people said it’s impossible.
It’s an easy read, and it’ll get you motivated. Now that I own my own business and do hiring myself, I can appreciate this book on a whole new level. Essentially, go to a manager of your dream job. In-person. Tell them why you can make his/her job so much easier. Sell yourself without being scuzzy.
Just read it. It works.
May I make a book recommendation? It's called Married Man Sex Life You don't specifically cite sex as the problem, but the fact that you complain about the lack of affection leads me to believe that's part of it, and anyway, the advice in the book is good for a lot of relationship problems, not just sex related ones.
You may not agree with everything that's in the book. It's okay if you don't. Focus on the stuff that you do agree with.
> this would be better with a little joint
Why would it be better? What is lacking today, right now, that weed contributes? Its analog, but get a pen and paper and write down 1-5 things that weed would contribute in a positive way to your life. Next to that list, write down things that would be negatively impacted by weed. If you can only come up with 1-5, that is fine, but if the list goes longer in either case, let it. Try to understand why you are for and against weed.
Looking at that list, what other additions to - or extrications from - your life would have similar effects? A single example would be more relaxed at night as a positive of weed. I'd suggest you look into what effect weed has on sleep (here's a good book for that quest) as well as what daily exercise can do for your sleep. If you needed one more, weed might make you eat more, be that good or bad, but you can flip that by saying that taking some cooking classes will greatly increase your enjoyment and quality of food. My point is that whatever weed is contributing, I bet you can find that somewhere else and in greater fidelity and net good.
I'd like to close by mentioning that at your age, you are harming your brain's development. You might not be at the level of maturity where that matters a ton to you, but looking back from the ripe age of 39, I can tell you it ultimately will and in a big way. You'll look back at all the times that you took the easier path at the cost of some form of health and you'll regret it. I didn't drink until I was 25 and didn't use legal drugs (gotta love Washington state!) until I was in my 30's. That isn't an easy path for everyone, but I have never regretted putting my health first.
Good luck to you, and I hope you accomplish your goals.
Get some spackle, like this, and a putty knife (or just use a butter knife or your finger).
Slather it into the cracks, let it dry. Sand it smooth with a small piece of sandpaper - maybe 150 or 220 grit.
Are the cracks full and smooth to the surface? Probably not, because thing shrink when they dry. Add some more. Repeat.
Smooth? Awesome - now paint with that matching paint you said you had!
Done.
Too much work? Then just paint. Most won't notice unless the damage is really deep and bad.
Sounds like you need a tire gage/car tool to keep in your car.
Lantoo Digital Tire Pressure Gauge, 150PSI with 5 in 1 Rescue Tools of LED Flashlight,Car Window Breaker, Seatbelt Cutter,Red Safety Light and Tire Gauge for Car,Motorcycle https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01CZNKPVS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_YjB-DbTPTYBTB
Here’s one on amazon. It should do the trick. Keep it in your car. Ball park number on the gage should read 33-40 based on the car. Feel free to message me if you got any questions at any time.
I know the post is more than just about car issues but it’s my best attempt to be your dad for a minute.
Merry Christmas! Here’s some reddit coins
I'm glad you're feeling better! Such a relief!
Yeah, a heated/heating jacket! Like this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HCRJKFK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_YWXIFbCDJFS6M
They look cozy and seem like something I would get a lot of use out of. With the whole always cold thing. :)
I finished Into the Wildwood by Colin Meloy and illustrated by his wife Carson Ellis. The second book, Under Wildwood, starts in snow. It's a series based in Portland OR, so there's a faint and fond memory of a place I once called home.
A little bonus for you: a birdie visited me in the doorway today. I noticed the lil thing and it fluttered off. It was a serene addition to my morning though.
I accept that I shall continue addressing the day as morning although it's well afternoon. I suppose that's the joys of getting up at 3:30 AM, eh?
Good morning, daddy.
I've been embracing the art of "letting myself cry' and thought of an application I've used to keep track of my patterns. But I want to share it with everyone.
It's only for Android that I know of, but it's called A Year in Pixels, here's a link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ar.teovogel.yip
It's totally free, no ads to bother your tracking, and you can set a notification at a specific time of day of your choosing to remember to note Everything! You can make custom emotions, and colors for your Pixels! And there's a dark mode for anyone, like me, with sensitive eyes.
I hope you have a good day, daddy. I'm going to do what I can to have the best Monday I can make of it.
Happy Monday! I love you!
Hey,
Good for you, so happy.
Sounds like you're doing well in school.
This suggestion sounds a little remote but will suggest it anyway.
See if you can find a good app for organizing your life, time, schedule and notes.
Why?
It's important that you plan things out some so you avoid your earlier pitfalls.
Plan events to help you maintain a course or direction for yourself. Know when appointments are and have notes available to help remember stuff. Be reminded when something is coming up.
If you can organize your life you will feel soooooo much more in control and reassured that you are true to your compass.
Lots of apps.
A simple one: "Google Keep". https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.keep
More bells & whistles: "business calendar" https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=netgenius.bizcal
Best, Dad for a minute.
Hey, can I ask you an unrelated question? So you have any recommendations on how to keep people from stealing my water? I own a 4plex, and I have a spigot on the outside of my building, and the people of the building next door keep stealing my water, despite having access to a spigot of their own. I have come up to the building multiple times to find then with a hose attached to my spigot.
I bought a $20 spigot lock on Amazon and thought that had fixed the issue, but when I pulled up yesterday the lock was gone and there was another hose attached. I can't figure out how the lock was removed.
Do you have any recommendations? Try a different spigot lock? Ice thought about installing a ocking box recessed in the wall down the spigot.
