I had a some random sites that I’ve never visited before doing that a few days ago. I’d recommend the following until you find out what it is:

1. Try using a different device and on different wifi connections (or data).
2. Change your DNS. It happened to me using Cloudflare DNS.
3. If all else fails, bestvpn1 probably just bought a bunch of domain names to redirect to theirs. I’ve seen other VPNs such as NordVPN do this before, so it wouldn’t surprise me.

This is wht i looked up on Ecosia, but i worry that facebook is so controlling they won't let the idea of using Ecosia with it even enter the heads of their users?

Looks like something on the technical site went wrong, if you look at the certificate name (if you're unfamiliar with Kubernetes - it's an container and deployment service). The website is working on my end.

stop using the ecosia app and switch to firefox .. set ecosia as your default browser by adding it to the search engine list with this .. https://www.ecosia.org/search?q=%s

In Firefox iOS, do this to use Ecosia: 1. Tap the menu Button (the three bars in the bottom right corner) 2. Tap search 3. Tap "add search engine" 4. In the formular, enter the Name (obviously Ecosia) and in the second field for the url enter the following text:

2. In the first field, you can select the standard search engine. Tap on it
3. tap "Ecosia"
