Have you tried using one of those programs that allows you to overlap windows over the VR view?
Something like this: https://store.steampowered.com/app/586210/OVRdrop/.
Before it became a paid product I used the open-source version of this to watch Netflix while exploring.
Try E:D Miner Tool if you have an Android phone. You can input the system you're currently in and it will tell you what the closest system with a pristine metallic site is.
I recommend joining the Fleet Carrier owners discord. They've got this awesome tool that they've built that works as a database for Tritium hotspots that are 2x and higher.
There is This App that you can get (IDK if it's on the apple store) You put in your current system and it gives you a list of systems with pristine metallic rings in order of distance from you. Super useful for both new and veteran miners.
TriPN is the Tritium Pathway Network and is a tool to help CMDRs find Tritium overlaps anywhere in the galaxy. it can be found at <https://script.google.com/macros/s/AKfycbx6cEi2RRVZum98jZinXqzyK74RrHPVF71Qlmg8HEE1Z6e-4FLw/exec>
> However not everyone is in the bubble.
I'm afraid you misunderstand the purpose of miner's tool, then. The data in it comes from scouting effort in the bubble.
There's also a section around Colonia but it's not finished and there is only one mention of Tritium so far.
Tritium (or any other) hotspots outside populated areas were never in the scope of the tool.
And I see you've already been told about the TriPN.

I've made an app so I can track the map without having the document open. I'm sorry because I did not updated it yet with credits (I'll do asap). If you want me to remove it I'll do. If anyone wants to share some map I can update it to be able in the app.
Its aint much but it's honest work :v

There is an app you can get on Android, called ED Miner
It basically has a listing of all known pristine rings in the bubble and if you enter your current location it will list them based upon their distance from you.
The best advice I can give you is get that app, and then check with the galaxy map in game until you find a match.

E:D Miner Tool is an android app you can use on your phone or tablet if you lack multimonitor or don't like alt-tabbing.
