Cat scratches actually present completely different health risks, like lymphoreticulosis, aka "cat scratch fever" and toxoplasmosis, which you can get just from changing your cat's litter. Even if the scratch isn't very deep, and doesn't appear to be severe, it may be enough to let the bacteria (or whatever, I'm not a doctor lol, could be a virus idk) into the body.
All joking aside, if you get a cat scratch, IMMEDIATELY wash and put alcohol or iodine on the area. If the scratch stays red and irritated (especially if it gets worse) for more than a day or so, definitely see a doctor or go to the hospital. It's better to be safe than sorry in these cases. These things can be treated as long as you don't ignore it long enough that it becomes a widespread problem.
Cats can get rabies, too, but
So you gotta monitor the wound itself.

https://letsencrypt.org/ my dude
My company had to deal with that Symantec shit since all our certs were from GeoTrust. Not using Lets Encrypt for our corporate sites, but it's a pretty cool project I discovered out of the ordeal. They now issue more than 50% of certs on the web, IIRC.

Wow! I'm so glad I could provide you with such a fascinating read. I love it when I get sucked into books. Let me know if you would like a copy of the PDF (which is a bit easier to read, higher resolution and all). If you're interested in this kind of thing, another horrifying killer wrote about his crimes. He pretended it was fiction. Spoiler alert, it wasn't (the cops believe he is a serial killer, though they couldn't prove it in court). It's called "Killer Fiction" and is available on Kindle for $10. Like the Gaskins book, a physical copy will run you a few hundred bucks. Here it is on amazon. I like Gaskin's book a little better but they're so different it's hard to compare.
