See p.9 of the 2nd Edition AD&D campaign setting:
>- The physics of the Realms are slightly out of synchronization with the rest of the planes, so that many technological devices which operate on electronics do not function. Equivalent devices may be developed by player characters. DMs should put some thought into what they will allow into their campaign worlds. DMs may choose to eliminate the use of gunpowder (or its magical equivalent, smoke powder) from the Realms, at their option.
If it's more lore you're looking for, go straight for the Realms' creater, Ed Greenwood.
Within the Sundering-series, the book <strong>"The Herald"</strong> spends much time within Candlekeep and describes its fall.
´
The very first Sundering-Adventure is named <strong>"Confrontation at Candlekeep"</strong> and is a short adventure about defending the library against an invasion of devils.
Oohh that! http://www.mmorpg.com/gamelist.cfm/game/1238/feature/9410/page/2 Here we have the classes and races! That sounds nice, Hell I'm going to Icewind dale EE. I wonder what the Beamdog people think about this game...
There is a d&d supplement. Races: The Elves. It has something in there for sure like a time line and it was different for each race iirc. Might be worth the purchase, miss mine. Might still be in a half-price books in Austin, Tx. Or amazon link: https://www.amazon.com/Complete-Advanced-Dungeons-Handbook-Supplement/dp/1560763760
<not mine dude I'm back to Roots in Poland these days, teaching esl>
I love real maps. This one is printed on durable vinyl and is awesome.
Okay. The only other option that might be possible is checking out a frame store to see if they could order the type of frames you are looking for and could direct you to a possible speciality store or worker.
If you are looking to do it yourself there looks like to be mounted reference systems via Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Tarifold-Easy-Load-Display-Pockets-Capacity/dp/B07SH9QK5K/ref=asc_df_B07SH9QK5K/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=416671619454&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=16332234000615673595&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqm... This could at least point you in the right direction. May the dice roll in your favor in your search.
Unfortunately I think we’re just seeing some basic cross promotion rather than a new interest in reviving FR novels.
There’s also a YA book coming out starring the internet’s most controversial druid:
GIMP might be what you're looking for - free, open source image editor. I'm no expert, but I've done a little editing of game maps with it. You can basically Google any questions you have - took me less than an hour to get done what I wanted.
I know it at least has Thay in it. Many of the older edtions have more lore books dedicated to them, but this can at least get you started, as it provides a far better overview than the SCAG of...well, pretty much everything.
This is what it looks like: https://www.amazon.com/dp/0786918365/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_44R0GHC8TNSGBQ27WXD4
(You can probably find it cheaper elsewhere, I just used Amazon to show you).
