She used this https://www.amazon.com/Loreal-Blond-Studio-Platinium-Lightening/dp/B001TI09MG for bleaching some of my hair (i think its called highlights in English?).And then she used Matrix SoColor for all my hair (I dont know witch colours she used.Sorry).
Own it, it looks like it could have been intentional, definitely not terrible! They will grow back soon enough. Or if you really hate it clip them to the side or they sell clip on bangs on amazon
I don't know what she uses, but I use these from conair.
I just wet my hair a bit with a spray bottle, then roll it (for curls like the top left, I use the tiniest rollers which are blue). Then I wrap it in headscarf and go to sleep. When I wake up, I just brush it a little bit. Personally, the curls stay in my hair for several days without any additional product.
I agree with sunbathing turtle. Malibu C products are great for swimmers. I'm a hairstylist and used it on set for a movie shot entirely at a pool. Here's a deal for it. https://www.groupon.com/deals/gg-mp-malibu-swimmers-wellness-treatment-kit-18-68-oz?utm_source=anonymous&utm_campaign=UserReferral_ma
I used these! We always called them rag curlers, but I'm realizing that actual strips of cloth rag curls are also a thing. But these work great. Hope I did not deceive 😬
First step: determine face shape. I think you are either a circle or oval face-- going more with circle. You want a hairstyle to match your face shape and hair texture. You have lovely features btw.
Two low maintenance style is a runners cut (short buzzed sides to longer buzz on top) or a military buzz. If you want to go more stylish, google is great! (Link inserted is ecosia search: circle face men hairstyles)
This one is stylish. Don't know about maintenance though.
I don’t think any sane person will know the answer for this. Also, you say you already have trust issues listening to sites, sooooo you obviously know this WILL (not CAN, WILL) go very wrong.
Why not try hydrogen peroxide? It lightens hair gradually and it won’t kill you or leave you bald. Since you want to go brown, this is the best bet and you probably have it at home already.
Also, you can order bleach packets (quick blue) online if you can’t drive. They are like $3. $3 to save your eyes/skin/hair from falling out is worth it.
Since you want to go brown, - $10 box dye won’t set you back. You can also buy that online too. L'Oreal Paris Superior Preference Fade-Defying + Shine Permanent Hair Color, UL61 Ultra Light Ash Brown, Pack of 1, Hair Dye https://www.amazon.com/dp/B004IN8ZJ8/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_SYT2SMZ4B576V2W4CN76 this will look way better that bleach or peroxide.
I’ve had really good luck with this

Not brushing can lead to some scalp build-up, so I use this. It feels nice and it's supposed to help hair growth
Tone your hair. This product helped take the slight green tinge out. Put it on dry hair and for longer before washing it out
Pravana purple hair mask
Unfortunately good -clays- tend to be expensive due to the cost of bentonite and other clays used so you'll probably have to settle for a paste, putty or wax if you want something that's both cheap and effective. Dove makes a very good, affordable hair paste that gives a lot of structure similar to a clay, but it's a bit on the shiny/greasy side.
If you're looking for something more matte that goes in light and you can add more to get a heavier, natural looking hold, go for L'oreal overworked hair putty.
Honorable mention to Old Spice hair putty, I don't like it as much as these but it's not bad.
I would have to see the back of the hair to be sure, but my best guess is that it's a french twist (more complicated method here), which is a pretty easy style. The bangs could be accomplished with hot rollers or a curling iron, then finger combed to give them a more laidback look
If you're really determined to dye your hair... And want to go blonde- Maybe a darker blonde... Like 'Caramel Blonde' might look complimentary.
Here's an example of the color; (Although it might involve getting highlights also.)

I actually dye my hair a reddish/copper color and have a natural hair/skin color that resembles yours. DM me for pictures. I use shade 210 by Logona (here's the amazon link), I don't know if it's available in your country. I let it sit for 2h and also color my eyebrows with it for a more natural look.
I like that it doesn’t damage your hair as it it is plant based and doesn’t penetrate your hair. It also looks very natural, a lot of people assume it's my natural hair color. Very easy to apply. I recommend washing your hair with dish soap before application to get rid of oil ect. in your hair. They also offer pre- and aftercare. I use it when I have enough money
Good luck!
Honestly it’s best to not use conditioner that way. your irritation may be coming from the build up from the conditioner if you are using it in place of shampoo days in a row. Especially if you are allergic to one or more of its ingredients.
It’s okay to wash your hair often a long as you use a good ph balanced and gentle shampoo & conditioner Check out these options for an idea
what shampoo and conditioners are you using? how is the water where you live? have you moved to a new city since your hair used to be long?? look into a shower head water filter if the area you live has hard water.
as far as products, personally I love the duo that Verb sells called ghost, it is amazing for hair like yours in my opinion shampoo link here get the matching conditioner too. I love the ingredients and the conditioner is great really slippery but doesn't weigh the hair down. My partner and me have loose curly hair and if we use anything else our hair looks really frizzy compared to when we use this. its all really clean ingredients with oils and no silicone or harsh addatives. plus its vegan.
also see about going in and doing a protein treatment at the salon every 6 months, often times that will really help your hair out with frizz issues and redefine your curl/ wave pattern
also our bodies change over time and that means our hair does too. you may have a vitamin deficiency, or it could be hormonal or even a side affect of medications you are taking like antidepressants etc. all these things affect our hair. so it could very well just be the very nature of the way your hair grows now and not really much you can do but try to balance your diet and take vitamin supplements.
truly I think you should look into going in for a professional protein treatment though, I think you will see good results. I know its time for one when my hair starts getting really frizzy and my curl pattern starts to look jacked up
I actually like all the styles on you, your forehead is average sized and I don't think it stands out extra crazy or like you have a very far back hair line or anything so don't be self conscious about that
I really like the middle part just because it frames your face well with your bangs and looks cute and sort of softens your vibe, you can also try to add some soft curls all to your hair to give it a little more style which will help a lot.
alternatively I might recommend getting a headband wig to wear for occasions that you feel like having longer hair or want to change things up until your hair grows out more!
, they are great because you can place the headband where you would like and hide your hairline if you feel like it and also be super low maintenance because you dont have to worry about your real hair being styled, no need to worry about wig glue or anything like that and it will look more realistic than most wigs since there is no fake looking part to worry about. you can also wear them in a few different styles, like a ponytail, bun or half up half down etc. lots of possibilities. they also come with a few headbands to wear so you can change up the style. they are really cute. they are also pretty affordable and Ive seen some as cheap as like $22 on amazon.
there is a link here so you can see what I'm talking about. headband wig
you can also find a ton of videos on youtube of others wearing them and style ideas if you are curious
Dude I totally get it but god the fact that you used this as inspiration had me dying laughing. Really not meaning to sound rude but that's pretty hilarious.
Anyways, to help you out, you could use R+CO strong hold gel or a hair cream, something like this and a nice glossing spray like this. I'm not too experienced with curly hair so maybe others can chip in but these are some of the things I see my little 18 y/o brother use and he has similar curls to that photo.
amazon has drain stoppers that collect hair, makes it a lot easier to pull out!
another idea is a drain snake, which is basically a long plastic stick that digs out all that nasty hair. i use these personally, but i’ve heard the tub shroom is a lot easier.

Hey - this has happened to me in the past. Depression is such a pain. I’m no hair stylist, but what has worked for me is brushing it as much as I feel able to, taking a shower with a ton of conditioner, and trying to work through it in the shower as much as you can. The conditioner usually helps soften it and in my opinion makes it a lot easier to get through. It might take a few cycles but if you don’t want to give up on your hair, it’s worth it.
Not conditioner, but this product made my hair feel AMAZING the last time depression got me down and I spent days ripping through it: Pantene Rescue Shots Hair Ampoules Treatment, Pro-V Intensive Repair of Damaged Hair, 1.5 Fl Oz (Pack of 3) https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07L68NFR3/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glc_fabc_Op57Fb3MKFMGE
I hope you’re alright. People care about you and want to help. You are so young, I promise life has so much more in store for you. You’re doing your best and that’s all that matters. <3
I’ve always called them hair clips but on amazon they’re sold as barrettes. The ones i got are off of amazon and are nice quality and colors

I have similar issues and really really thick long hair. What has helped my scalp tremendously is a shampoo brush to massage my scalp while shampooing. Then split my hair in two sections (just some on the left, some on the right). I apply a good moisturizing conditioner and use a a paddle brush too brush it through each of the sections to ensure good distribution of the conditioner. Let it sit as long as possible during a shower. I started using a towel specifically for hair- it’s microfiber I think?- and a good leave-in conditioner. It’s a lot of experimenting with products but the brushing on the scalp and the brushing conditioner through the lengths helped me a ton.
Here’s the brush I use for shampooing: Hair Shampoo Brush, Heeta Scalp Care Hair Brush with Soft Silicone Scalp Massager (Black) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B076Q6442Z/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_fabc_EoAQFbED05JHW
I would get an electric razor with guides. They go as short as 1/16 of an inch, so you should be able to at least do some maintenance. I am a woman with undershaved hair (the back of my neck is shaved under my long hair, about 2 inches up), and I have to redo it every 2 weeks as well, because my hair grows so quickly. I also cut my husband's hair and my hair because of our financial situation. I have gotten very good at it, and really, most of cutting hair is about blending. Look up some YouTube videos and you can learn a lot. I learned how to do my own layers and bangs, and I bought some professional shears on Amazon for 15 dollars. They are higher rated than the 100 dollar German professional shears, I will link below. You will probably never be good enough to replace a professional cut, unless you go to cosmetology school yourself. However, I see no issue in a little upkeep as long as your stylist approves. I bet you could even ask them to help you learn to touch it up if you ask nicely and are a good tipper when you do go in.
Here is a link to those amazing shears. Be sure to watch some youtube videos for how to adjust, clean, and maintain them. I hope I have been helpful!

Edit: I forgot to tell you to keep in mind that no matter what happens, hair grows--and what luck, yours does so very quickly! I have messed up my own hair before and it becomes unnoticeable in a week or so, which is nothing in the grand scheme of things. So, if you mess up, your new mantra shall be, "Hair grows." :-)
I would use this site to find a salon in your area that has olaplex. The cheapest price it should be for the service is $30 with out blow drying or styling. If you don't have a salon near you carrying olaplex i would go into the salon appointment with coconut oil in your hair, I personally use it before bleaching and have seen that it damages my hair less. You can also buy olaplex on amazon for $26 but it is used for after bleaching like a leave in conditioner. Since your hair is dark brown, the hair dresser may have to bleach your hair in several sessions to maintain the integrity of you hair. This may leave your hair an orangey shade until your next bleaching session. It will probably cost you around $300 or more if you want silver hair that will turn out healthy and shiny. You can always diy silver hair at home but it may leave your hair damaged and the color may look dull. Edit: you should also try leaving coconut oil in your hair as a mask once a week to help repair it and keep it shiny.
I use this flat iron from HSI. I have very thick, long length naturally curly hair and this one gets it nice and flat. I bought this on Amazon almost 5 years ago and it has never failed me. Only $40 with prime shipping too.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001MA0QY2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_Lk1KybE8WRMJ0
there are olaplex knockoffs that are much cheaper and do really work! consistence is key! i think sally beauty has their own dupe and this one on amazon is the one I've personally tried (I've used real olaplex too) its a fraction of the price, smells really good, does same thing
I just bought a very reasonable hair dryer on Amazon that got really good reviews. I LOVE IT!! Right now it is showing as $40 USD but I got it for less than that. Great inexpensive and powerful dryer!

I really loved the automatic curling irons on the market when I first started. I have naturally curly hair, so I never had a need to use one much. But I loved this while I got used to using other models.
Recommendation: https://www.amazon.com/BaBylissPRO-Titanium-Miracurl-Steamtech-Professional/dp/B00PEQDLMO (They make cheaper models, if you’re hesitant about the investment. This is the one I use though!)
Manual Recommendation: any cheap curling iron from your local beauty supply store/Amazon.
Using a boar bristle brush for my fine, oily hair has been a game changer for me. Instead of collecting at the top of my head and looking gross, I am able to redistribute the oil throughout my hair, making it all look lustrous and giving it some body.
10/10 would recommend. I bought this one from Amazon.
I've seen a boar bristle teaser on Sephora, and am thinking about getting that one as well.
It's a scalp massager used to administer shampoo while also getting blood flow the scalp. Blood flow will help with growth.
Massage your scalp in the shower with shampoo!
This has helped me with that and that's not even why I got it. I just wanted a healthy scalp but it makes sense. 😁😊 Pst, in case you didn't click the link, it's a scalp massager for administering shampoo.
I just cut my own hair over the weekend and these were the ones I bought. I don’t use the thinning shears though, but my boyfriend does.
Hair Cutting Scissors Thinning... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07B3VX5DL?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
My boyfriend has this same thing run in his family. He started using this shampoo and conditioner: PURA D'OR Biotin Original Gold Label Anti-Thinning (16oz x 2) Shampoo & Conditioner Set, Clinically Tested Effective Solution w/ Herbal DHT Ingredients, All Hair Types, Men & Women (Packaging Varies) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BHCB9Y2/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_PTBgFb3A2VKJS which seems to help a bit. He also take biotin every day. You can pick it up in gummy or pill form in basically any grocery store or CVS/Walgreens type store.
Through his research, he found that stress was a really big factor as well. He really started losing some hair through his graduate studies. Since then, his stress levels have gone down and it’s gotten much better so that might be something for you to consider too. Plus minimizing stress is always helpful, no matter what.
But if you try these things out and they don’t work, try not to worry about it too much! I know a ton of guys my age (early 20s) that either lost their hair, or just decided to shave it off and they rock it.
I hope this helps! :)
I agree with the comments watch so many videos!! I did to learn WHAT NOT TO DO! 😂. I did mine for the first time a few days ago. DO NOT START AT ROOTS. SECTION your hair. DONT BE AFRAID TO USE LOTS OF THE BLEACH ON YOUR HAIR, COAT IT. make sure it covers all the way through. Don’t over bleach. And check every 10 minutes!
Here’s my journey maybe it can help you!
Product to help keep it healthy, I did this in between bleaches!

I like this brush:
Spornette DeVille 100% Boar Bristle Paddle Brush https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0017PUPMK/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_2UD-xbTT2YPVW
I still use a paddle brush with long nylon bristles, though. Usually alternate between the two.
Clubman Gel. About $4 for a container. I'm not sure how long the container lasts because I can't seem to run out. It lasts all day, doesn't leave residue. And if I want to have a more casual style, I can "rub it out;" it still weighs down hair, but looks clean.
For reference, I have medium length hair such that about 1/3 of my hair isn't long enough to reach my ponytail/bun. So those hairs are slicked back with that gel to keep them in place.
These things save my damn life. I've had short hair/bangs for about 9 years and these are the ONLY clips that stay in my hair. They have a very small slip of grippy rubber on the inside that actually grips the hair and keeps them slipping out, which mine ALWAYS do. I get them at the drugstore, and they last really well. It'll take me a couple years to lose/break an 8 pack, usually I lose them. I think I've only had 3 out of 16 break from use, the rest I lost or stepped on.
Another thing I do is when I want to pin them back, I twist them a bit to keep the stragglers tight in place, and that usually also works with 2 bobby pins. My trick with bobby pins is to start inserting in one direction and then flip it over a finish inserting it in the other direction, it's hard to explain, but it locks in place that way. Then I just cross another pin over it to keep it all secure.
Or if I've feeling super low maintenance, I'll just grab a small clear hair elastic and put my bangs in that, like you would if you put your hair half up, but just the bangs. This one takes the longest and most patience, so it's not usually my go to, but when I go it, they don't budge.
Just use a clarifying shampoo. This is an awesome one: http://www.amazon.com/Paul-Mitchell-Clarifying-Shampoo-Three/dp/B000UPEDXU
Lather it up and leave it on for about 5-10 mins, rinse and repeat. I guarantee this shampoo will get all that extra pigment out.
Biotin pills and keeping it healthy are your #1 priorities. This brand and this one can help with growth as well
Stay away from sulfates. The best one I've found is this one. My hair doesn't feel so dry after using it. http://www.amazon.com/doTERRA-Salon-Essentails-Shampoo-2-Pack/dp/B00HVUJY8Q/ref=sr_1_2?s=hpc&ie=UTF8&qid=1422847157&sr=1-2&keywords=doterra+shampoo
I’m not sure what they’re called, but they look like these!
It looks like you get similar results if you Google “spiral hair pins”, which might give you a good starting point.
You should always shampoo before masking, but condition your hair after applying the hair mask. Shampoo opens the hair cuticles, allowing the strands to receive more masks.
This is my natural wave pattern, so I’m not exactly sure how to get them. I have a inkling that something like this here might help?
I mix it up, I will use Head and Shoulders when it still feels greasy after the Blue shampoo, currently using an argan hair sampoo & conditioner here that smells like bubble gum.
My hair is really damange from dying it this summer, so i've been playing around w alma oil thishair masks to heal it. I also plop it in a tshirt after drying it so it doesnt become flat and frizzy.
I wash it about 3ish times a week. I have curly hair and am trying to get my curls back after all the damange.
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08Z9ZP4CD?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
Give that a try. Use it to exfoliate your scalp when shampooing. I started using it a few months ago and it has been a game changer for me.
I mean, what kind of curly hair do you have?
The curly girl method doesn't work for everyone, there are a lot of rules, so pick and choose the rules that work for you. e.g. the CGM doesn't allow silicones, but I use conditioner with silicone and cetearyl alcohol and love the results.
To start, maybe try a Shea Moisture shampoo and conditioner (all their products are CGM approved)
Then follow up with a leave in conditioner spray (i love this one). Apply a curl cream. Then style your hair (scrunch, twist, finger coil, whatever you want). Last, apply a gel.
You can blow dry with a diffuser, or air dry.
For reference, my hair is 3A/B
If your hair is curlier than mine, the routine above might dry out your hair. If your hair is less curly than mine, this routine might weigh down your hair/make it feel greasy and heavy. So it all depends on your hair type (which will likely change the longer you stay away from the flat iron)
I used to have hair like your kid, I shaved it and grew out a lot silkier and smoother, but the brands I used to make it more manageable at the time were Langhaar Mädchen (the spelling is not quite right but my German is not perfect, sorry) and all of the conditioners from Balea. I'm not a hair stylist so I can't really tell you why or what to look for in a product but they made my hair soft like a cloud the first 2-3 days after washing. For detangling later in the week I used to use this leave in spray and it made it softer and easier to style. I've since switched to using the Garnier Fructis shampoo and I find it makes my hair the same cloudy soft texture even without conditioner but my hair has changed a lot.
Never use coconut oil. Brush before you wash it to detangle. Never brush it when it’s dry. Look up the curly girl method!
This is a great product for kids:
SoCozy, Curl Spray LeaveIn... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01M9DV1OT?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
I think your hair looks completely normal, to be honest. For a sleek ponytail, using a styling cream and bristle brush helps to smooth the hair out so that there are no gaps. Also, some people (including celebrities) fill their hairline with hair powder (e.g. this one).
I would get something like this! https://www.amazon.com/John-Frieda-Radiant-Boosting-Shampoo/dp/B078NGMYHG?source=ps-sl-shoppingads-lpcontext&ref_=fplfs&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
Red is easy to get in, but hard to get out. Haha so just something that deposits a splash of red should do the trick on blonde hair!
My closest guess is: https://www.amazon.com.au/Vodana-Glam-Hair-Curling-Iron/dp/B06XSG1B28
VODANA Professional GlamWave Ceramic Curling Iron, Natural Curls, Hair Curler, Curling Wand, Available in USA (1.4 inch, Pink).

Ideally what you need to know is the barrel size and then get a good quality one of the same.
Someone said to brush your hair wet, this will definitely straighten your curl some. Not to mention, combing or brushing the hair while wet stretches it, reducing the elasticity and bounce. If a person has lots of natural curl, the difference for them won't be enough to notice. If a person has a slight curl or wave, brushing while wet can be enough to take it out. It is better to finger comb wet hair, or if you have to use the widest toothed pick you can find.
To keep the curl when you brush in the morning, use a pick instead of a brush. Like this or this.
First, you need to start using products for curly hair. I would definitely buy some leave-in curl cream and put that in your hair after every shower. Scrunch the product into your hair and leave it to air dry. But the key is to not touch it at all. Don't brush it or touch it or you'll ruin the curls. You also appear to have some thinning in the front, so I would highly recommend brown root spray. It's intended for covering up roots, but it also makes hair look thicker and camouflages your scalp.
I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Aphogee. It's a 2 part hair treatment that attempts to repair together the protien bonds in damaged hair. 2 years ago i had over processed hair and I tried this treatment and it worked. However it is like making chemical changes to the hair which is why maybe some people here didn't recommend it, but I found that after the first treatment, it made visible differences to my hair. It's not a every day treatment you can only do it every few weeks due to the strength of the product. If you are interested heres a link to it on Amazon, and be my guest and do some more research on it.

If you haven't tried T-sal give that a go! it worked for my brothers when they had a similar issue where nothing worked. I agree with other comments recommending a dermatologist though!
I use a blowout brush and brush my hair dry. I have very thin, fine hair so straighteners can be harsh. I use some anti-frizz, a heat protector spray, and sometimes a texturizer or thickening spray if I'm feeling fiesty. I hope this helps!! <3

Yeah of course bro, i’ll give you a link to the best gel I’ve tried so far. It’s a little bit expensive but it’s honestly worth it and it last you. You can get it usually at target, Walmart, Walgreens ,CVS. Oh and it smells fucking goooood.
As far as tips on finding gels in general, i’d say just to avoid silicones and look for girls that have “hold”
https://www.boots.com/shea-moisture-manuka-honey-and-mafura-oil-intensive-hydration-hair-masque-354ml-10252936? I’ve used this one and it worked almost immediately on my bleached and damaged hair. Once a week for up to 30 mins, I wrapped mine in clingfilm but it’s completely up to you if you want to do that. I don’t think it will take long for your hair to change because they’re really good products but be patient and give it time, it may work immediately and it may not, it varies. If it doesn’t just persevere https://www.amazon.co.uk/TIGI-Antidotes-Resurrection-Shampoo-Conditioner/dp/B01AC34TS8 These are the ones I’m talking about I’ve never seen them in Asda only B&M’s
It's really good. I can share some videos so you can follow the instructions. You can also visit here to get more info.
Then maybe it’s not as bad as you think.
What you want is a boar bristle brush. If it’s good enough to tame my beard, it’ll be good enough to tame your hair.

This stuff is gold!!! It has brought my hair back to life literally in a week, helping it grow & get thick!! I swear by it! I've tried so many different things but this is what worked best for me!
I'm currently using the L'Oreal Paris shampoo/conditioner bc a friend recommended it since they've dyed their hair alot!! The stylist told me to use cold water for my hair and listed some products to use but I can't remember what she said 🥲 I did make sure to text her and ask tho! Thank you so much for your help lovely!
I would first try combing hair into place and then apply a little bit of gel or hairspray at the roots of hair (close to the forehead). With time that should work (as it did with me when I had trouble with hairs falling in front of face after switching from side part to middle part) but if not...
- you could wear these wavy type of headbands or use hair clips
- or style your hair into a man bun
or even using a curling or straightening iron to swoosh your hair away from your face (like how you do with curtain bangs)
--
your hair looks pretty nice the way its styled though, I would probably just use a headband when I need to see (e.g; walking, running), while just dealing with running my hands through hair every min or so for the other times
I hope a solution works for you!!
Doesn’t have to be, the top part usually feels a bit rougher anyway because it’s more exposed to the elements (sun is drying as f). I use a random round brush, tho as far as I know, the best ones are made of boar bristles (like this one. With curly hair, it’s very important to keep it hidrated as it dries easily, and heat styling doesn’t help, and make sure to use heat protectants if you’re going to blow dry it. I still prefer to keep my hair natural, air dryed, as much as I can, as it’s less damaging so it looks better overall :) btw. for blow drying, check out the revlon one step hair dryer, it’s amazing!
My stylist now tells me that Redken is doing away with a bunch of their products, now including my absolute favorite mousse of all time, 08 Aerate. I found a container at Cosmetic World, a Canadian company, and had it shipped to me in the US! For the past week I've been using Tigi Bed Head, which is a lot stickier than Shape Factor but provides some of the same benefit for my hair. If you find anything, post back or DM me! Good luck!
I’d say get clip in bang extensions until it grows out so that you don’t have to lose anymore of her hair! They’re used in pageants all the time on toddlers and once you learn how to put them in you can hardly tell.

This or something similar should do the job!
As a barber/cosmetologist with 7 years of experience, there’s not a whole lot that can be done. You can try to style around it, style with it, or cut the rest. It’s very common, and I wish more people would realize it’s just something that happens….but a majority of parents in my experience want to transfer blame to the stylist for not being able to fix the hair, because we can apparently make hair grow on command lol. Consider it a milestone, maybe she will grow up to be a stylist (it’s good money). They make some pretty hair bands and floral crowns that may help cover until it grows out enough to style.
This might help, there are several different options out there
Here's a review of a box dye with some great advice:
I am a hairstylist of 27 years, if this was a professional line I would use it in my shop. I would represent Revlon color if asked. I live in Bentonville, Ar home of Walmart home office. Anyway-tips.. 1. Target your color. If your hair is not color treated. To go lighter, never go pass 2 shades. Gradually work your way up. Normally with going lighter use the ash tones, counteracts red tones. Going darker, same thing few shades darker, to start. If you want natural, it may have golden tones. Gold is definetly a warm tone. 2. If you hair is color treated, bleached, both, same thing your hair will be porous. Being that going lighter, with any levels of brown color in your hair, not going to happen. Color doesn't lift color. Unless it's been along time; between colors, don't expect a miracle. 3. If your wanting to go darker, and color your hair often, caution yourself light brown could go medium to dark. brown So use a shade lighter.
1.Natural gives you all the tones 2. Ash counteracts unwanted warm tones 3. Gold gives you warm tones 4. Red of course gives you red tones. If your more than 30% grey use red tones such as light red brown. Make sure the brown is included in the title, grey hair can turn pinkish or unnatural.. 5. Remember if you color your hair often, especially blondes it can be tricky.. This is by far the best over the counter color, being there's no ammonia.. If used properly you'll have great results. I have many clients that can't afford for me to color their hair, I help them thru the choices. If in doubt call the hotline, because this color is wonderful, not damaging..
Last but not least,, grey customers leave your color on 5-10 minutes longer for stubborn greys...
Hope this can help:))))

You got curly hair bro try putting in some leave in conditioner after you shower while your hair is still a little damp, I’d recommend cantu shea butter leave in conditioner that’s what I use!!
Get a sponge. Here's one that's a pretty good deal on Amazon. That'll get you what you want
They have changed the design of this since I bought it. Now it looks more like a cactus rather than a flat paddle, but I would imagine the bristles are the same! This brush was amazing on my curls when my hair was at is longest. The bristles are very flexible and it glides through hair rather than pulling at it like a stiffer brush will. This brush has caused the least poof for me of any paddle brush I've ever used.
Another go to that kept my hair from poofing was a wide toothed comb like this. I would run it through my hair while it was still wet to get my curls to bond to each other and take shape, and then let them air dry to avoid any volume blow out.

But if I'm being honest with you, your hair texture is really nice!! I know a lot of people that would be jealous of what you have. You have enough volume for your hair to have life but not so much that it's a shapeless, unruly mess. Remember that the grass is always greener on the other side!
hairdresser here with solution: wash hair with pH balanced shampoo, condition, rinse. brush through it with a wet brush pro, squeeze out water. wrap in towel turban for like maybe a minute. DO NOT scrub hair dry with towel!
finger-comb styling product for curl bundling through to bundle curls/waves. I like KMS Curl Up Control Creme
DO NOT BRUSH IT WHEN IT'S DRY!
if you forget, or run your hands through your dry hair too much, wet hands and finger-comb through hair till it's bundling again. finger-comb a little water through it where you need to the next day, you may have to add a wee bit more product, or not.
wash your hair at least once a week.
our moms didn't know, so they didn't tell us.
You’re absolutely right here’s another style head band to achieve similar look

What hair forks did you find? I agree they're a great tool.
These were the longest hair forks I could find on Amazon and they're what I use. On my thick straight hair, one of these forks can hold as much hair as two sticks.

these are my fav and cheap
I live in the US and I can't find bun sticks locally either. It's just hard to find accessories for long hair! But these look nice against dark hair. If Amazon won't ship to you, try one of the Chinese sellers on eBay or AliExpress. Or just use a dull pencil like the woman in that video does. Then you can do this.
I would invest in pomade for hold, and a round brush and hair dryer. I used to use pomade/hair putty when I had a similar style: L'Oréal Paris Studio Line Overworked Hair Putty, No Color, 1.75 Oz https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0014568CO/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_8C068N7SKHV3JD6ZRZ6G
you just gotta push through. Wear bandanas, slick it back, wear a hat. things like that.
these headbands got me through a lot.
Get this. You won’t regret it. Check out the reviews first. I have crazy flyaways and this tames it without it being hard like when using hairspray.

Condition heavily with Ren pure originals biotin and collagen conditioner, but i may switch to the conditioning bar of the same brand of the shampoo bar above.
Any argan oil serum will work but the one I use is the Garnier fructis sleek and shine anti frizz serum.
Hope that helps!
Purple shampoo or purple hair mask will help. Or u could get high pigment shampoo like this one keracolor clenditioner hair dye.
Honestly love your current color and with your condition I would not recommend using any dyes with ammonium in them, so steer clear of box dyes. Usually if you go to Sally’s they will be able to help you find a good brand that with match your wants and not use ammonium. BUT if you are looking for a change I love the dark brown or the red on you they are both really rich colors that compliment your skin tone beautifully!
I think you could achieve both of these with a color treatment conditioner! I like to change my hair color frequently but my hair is very very damaged and bleached so I use a colored conditioner I currently use keracolor! They have a beautiful copper and chocolate brown that would work very well on your hair I get mine on Amazon but they are also sold at Ulta! Here’s a link! keracolor
There’s also these little things you can get to massage your scalp with

I have combo face skin and an oily scalp. These days, I use Giovanni shampoos, conditioners, and styling product. I rarely deep condition my hair bc it doesn't usually need it. For my face and back I use this . It's gentle and doesn't dry me out that much.
Initially, to clear up my body acne, i used sliced lemons dipped in sugar and applied as a body scrub (every day for a few weeks). This is a harsh method that really worked for me. Don't ever use this method on your face tho bc it's way too harsh and makes your skin more susceptible to sunburn.
It's good parenting that you're trying to help her feel better about her hair. You go, parent!
This sounds exactly like my experience as a 12yr old! I hit 12/13 and my hair immediately poofed out (very much like Hermione from Harry Potter lol). From what you're saying, it sounds like she has developed a curl/wave pattern as she has gotten older. Curly/Wavy hair is very different from straight so it can be difficult to take care of if you're not used to it.
1st, Use a wide-toothed comb, not a brush. A wide-tooth comb works much better for hair with some texture than a brush. The brush will just pull the curls/waves apart, while a comb will encourage the curls/waves to clump together and form.
2nd, Combing her hair in the shower. I've found with my wavy hair, brushing after a shower while my hair is dry will break up my waves/curls and just make them puffy. I try to disturb my hair when dry as little as possible. I almost exclusively comb my hair in the shower or while its still very wet while applying product after.
3rd, Get her some leave in conditioner and curl mousse/cream. Curly/Wavy hair is generally more dry than straight hair so extra moisture from leave in conditioners are very helpful. Curl mousse/cream will encourage her hair structure to form curls/wave rather than just remain frizzy and poofy. Have her apply the product into her hair while it's still very damp from showering. I'm a fan of the Pantene Curl Defining Mousse.
4th, take a look into the Curly Girl hair care method for her. It kinda intimidating to start but even doing a small part of this method can really pay off (such as scrunching her hair or using a curly shampoo). r/curlyhair is very helpful for this.
The only way I found to fade pravana and mind you this was pravana violet mixed with blue which doesn’t fade… ever. Was Malibu C DDL- you’ll need a couple packets and some distilled water or developer. Use water for minimal lift, 10 for a little stronger lift, or 20v- I used 20v twice the first time it got me from a sapphire shade down to pastel aqua/mint the second round got me to a white blonde. It’s pro only product so you may not be able to get your hands on it unless you have a friend who has access to a cosmoprof- there’s a pretty good dupe for it though on Amazon I’ll link it for you. It’s pretty much the same, it’s vegan, you only mix with water but saddle up because it works slow so you’ll need to have a self care day in or sleep with it in- it does come with a deep conditioner for after too because it can be drying.
I have but not for dark colors I usually mix red with cassia as I’m a ginger and like to stay that way and just make it more vibrant. However I did find a really good YouTube for mixing black henna if you were interested. The one Amazon brand I told you about definitely has a 2 part black dye as well. Adding links!
^that line is 100% natural
