Hey, I showed this track to a bunch of people on this subreddit's discord channel and everyone seems to like it a lot! You should join us! It's a really great community and a great way to connect with people during quarantine. Here's the link! https://discord.com/invite/VxuvCkp
Here's a good place to start: http://everynoise.com/ Shows tons and tons of the obscure genres and when you hover your mouse cursor over the genre, you get to hear a sample. Some of their picks I don't necessarily agree with, but its a good place to begin IMHO. Check it out.
this made me so happy to read omg thank you! im glad you were able to enjoy and get a sense of what i was going for on the track. thank you so much for listening and commenting, i very much appreciate you taking your time with responding.

lyrics:
Caroline, will you rip my heart out?
So much more to talk about
And I can't get a single word in
I hope he treats you like this
Caroline, you're not a person
You're a feeling, and I feel like shit
Caroline, I hate our story
Let's work on rewriting
Don't mind my shakiness
My heart beats for your lips
Caroline, I love your voice
I wish to record it
Caroline, did you hear that noise?
I think there's someone here
Your flow is dope for sure, very modern sounding. Stop wasting your time w/that mic tho! Look on YouTube for a budget microphone review. I personally use the Audio Technica AT2020 Cardiod Condensor Studio Mic 3-pin XLRM-type and it has been a solid investment.
Hello,
I'm working on this game on my own. The idea is to generate level on any music input. For the actual release version, I'm looking for a few tracks to ship with the game.
I can't offer you money, but I can definitely offer you to build custom levels based on your track and link to your eshop, Spotify, SoundCloud ...
The music used in the demo is from Feu! Chatterton and is called J'aime regarder les filles.
If you want to try it with your music (you will need to have mp3 on your phone), you can download the alpha for android here: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mr.run
Hi Kate! Nice to hear from you, and high five back!
I have been loving Plane9, I owe you for that and forever thankful for the introduction. Not sure if you are familiar with https://www.pexels.com/ this is good for videos too!
I subbed to your YouTube as well, and look forward to your music. Who knows maybe one day we can collaborate on something too :)

Thank you so much for checking this out!! Haha yeah I loved making it and I will admit I danced my socks off as it totally reminded me of the music from the Blade movie (which I absolutely love) which is totally self-indulgent but I couldn't resist!
The artwork was taken from Pexels as a free to use image but I applied an extra wavey filter to add that effect to it.

Much Appreciate! :)
Very cool track! I dig your sound. You’re right that it’s a tricky answer to classify you as a particular genre, but I agree that you can’t really go wrong with indie rock—for general marketing purposes anyway. It’s kind of a shame not to underline your funky vibes though. http://everynoise.com is a cool resource if you want to look into more niche genres that might better suit you
Here is the original recording before I found it: https://www.bandlab.com/deanloebach/new-project-717172e2?revId=cf08343c-26f6-ea11-af8b-501ac5b31de6
Yeah that’s me singing
Here’s some of my newer music. Maybe indie isn’t the correct genre specification, but I’m not 100% sure what I should categorize it as.

I’ve really just been producing instrumentals for the last 5 months, but I stated writing to them recently so I should have some full length indie projects with vocals done soon
Hey thanks so much for the kind words!!! It really does mean a lot to get some positive feedback on the track :))
Most of my music is pretty experimental, but I did go far out with the drums in this track. I know this might be a lot to ask but would you mind giving me feedback on another track?

Yo! I got you with a semi cheap one that I rock with, MXL 990 super solid along with this Audio Interface. I really recommend this stuff dude cause you got the flow and beat selection on LOCKDOWN! Keep it up dude i'm giving you a follow for sure!
If your room doesn't have any carpets, get some. I'll assume you don't have enough money for foam covering the entire room, so you can use this instead: https://www.amazon.com/LyxPro-VRI-30-Absorbing-Recording-Adjustable/dp/B012OFI98I/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?keywords=Acoustic+panel+stand&qid=1564818851&s=musical-instruments&sr=1-2-spons&psc=1 I've recorded with those before, the placement is important, so youll need to experiment with the placement to find a sweet spot in your home. I've gotten extremely dry recordings after finding a sweet spot. Look near closets or whatnot.
