First off I want your job.
Second, this isn't exactly squirrel but I feel like Chip n Dale give the right vibes. Also of course I would never suggest buying something from amazon only to return it after wearing it once but it can be done 😏
Maybe just the constant background noise of the city? You could try a white noise maker to see if that makes a difference. I love https://mynoise.net to help me focus when I'm working.
I found 2 oz glass boston rounds to bottle my homemade vanilla extract from Amazon. Only place I could find with reasonable prices. https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B01H71B6NY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
You can manually change your dns. Try switching it to 8.8.8.8 (googles dns). Instructions here: http://www.howtogeek.com/167533/the-ultimate-guide-to-changing-your-dns-server/ Also consider running malware bytes just to be safe. Generally a good practice anyways Link here: http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware-Free/3000-8022_4-10804572.html
"Twinkle twinkle little star" isn't white noise. White noise is more or less random, exactly so your brain doesn't recognize a pattern. Mynoise.net has nature sounds (animals, wind, rain, waves, etc.) as well as standard white noise and the pink, or brown, varieties
I'm surprised that a secret scientist doesn't have such scales already! In fact, I'm beginning to suspect that you aren't a real scientist at all. :)
We use a flat one like this so that plates and bowls can be tared easily.

I've started making ramen at home because I'm not satisfied with what is available in Kingston. I've found I can make it better than what is available here.
You can find concentrated tonkotsu broth packets online (I like this one which does ship to Canada even though it's on US Amazon). The flavor is quite good.
Since the broth is the hardest part, the rest is fairly simple to make at home:
-Metro sells pork belly and it's easy to make great chashu in a slow cooker.
-Boil some eggs to medium hardness and make a marinade with ginger/soy sauce/rice vinegar/sugar (there are plenty of recipes online) and marinate them overnight.
-I pick up the noodles from J-Town when I'm passing through Toronto, but I'd assume at least one of the Asian grocery stores sells good noodles.
-Pick up some scallions and whatever other toppings you want to toss on.
It's pretty fun to make as a weekend project (start the chashu and eggs on Saturday and you'll be rewarded for dinner on Sunday).
A good way to verify whether your computer is overheating is to try HWMonitor: https://www.cpuid.com/softwares/hwmonitor.html
You can also check your computer event logs to see if they can indicate what the cause of a crash might be. https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa996634(v=exchg.65).aspx
Check out meetup.com if you haven't already. There's a few groups on there that are quite active.
What about paddling? 420 and paddling go well together. The Cataraqui Canoe Club off Cataraqui Street (downtown) has a great deal for a membership. You can google for their website but I think it's about $50/yr plus maybe some rental time? It's not expensive and they have social outings.
You could consider a locking package box, too. There are several options out there.
Making ramen is a fun and rewarding weekend project.
Get this specific brand of tokotsu broth from Amazon (might take a while to arrive because it ships from Japan). It's concentrated broth so you dilute it with water, the exact ratio depends on how strong you want it to be. 1 cup of water per packet is a good place to start.
Start by making chashu and marinated eggs on Saturday. For chashu you'll need to get pork belly, which I know Metro downtown sells (not sure who else sells it but you could ask around). If you have a slow cooker then that's perfect for the chashu. Both the chashu and eggs need to marinate for 24 hours which is why you're starting them on Saturday.
Then on Sunday night, assemble your ramen. I prefer straight ramen noodles (should be easy to find in Asian grocery stores, or even the Asian section of the supermarket, and if not then Amazon). Just boil your noods according to the instructions and mix the broth packets with boiling water, put the noods and broth in a bowl, and top with your chashu, eggs, and whatever other toppings you want (green onions, mushrooms, nori, corn, etc.)
This is what I do and it's not as good as Japan but, IMHO, on-par with what you'd get at a ramen place in Toronto.
>"Apparently I have a big head and long face? They’ve all been large or xl but whenever I try to talk they skip off."
So, my friend (who also has a big head) had the same problem. He was wearing masks with non-adjustable ear-loops and using a mask extender / ear protector clip fixed the falling-off his nose issue. I linked to the specific clip he uses, but there are lots of similar products out there.
Check this map to see if that helps answer your question. I haven't been there but it looks like I should visit for birding. I've never heard of it!

You can bring it to a private waste transfer station it you can't give away or sell it on Kingston Facebook Marketplace: https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/kingston-ca/.
Fees apply at these waste disposal spots:
Or look for a junk/waste removal service to come pick it up.
I run a local meetup for tabletop gamers - we organize a variety of events including RPGs, Board Game nights and Escape Room outings.
Membership is free on meetup.com, and there are several other social groups there as well.

FWIW.
I've been using CANNET for about five years in Kingston. They're based in Mysterysauga.
I pay for 150 plan. Under Ookla I get roughly 140 to 150 steady as she goes and seldom less than 140 under Mullvad VPN depending on which location I use. Even Euro servers are fast which I find remarkable. I have seldom had a problem with CANNET and forget they're even there.
The caveat is always' things can change so be prepared.
But I did notice a small slowdown over the week-end but nothing at the moment.

How do you sharpen a knife without contact? Voodoo? (I kid, I kid)
Serious question though, are you able to sharpen a sickle? We have one of these and it's probably due for a sharpening.
This device stops people from being able to open a door when you're inside and is easy to use.
For housing, check the garbage room (piles of garbage? active insect infestation? avoid). Seeing pest traps isn't always a bad sign, most multi unit properties should have regular pest control contracts to prevent problems.
I was looking for a black one for ages and ended up getting a Hanes Sport one on Amazon. Very light and soft (I was using it as a shell if I was walking in spring or fall).
They also have regular zip hoodies too in some lighter colours.
I think the Slub type are just a different design.
Briney Pink and more pale tones
Great idea :) Everyone who's responded so far sounds great tbh and I am down to meet over Zoom. I set up a Doodle poll here actually if anyone else is interested: https://doodle.com/meeting/participate/id/Qe17P0Vb
If we can find a time when most people can make it, that'd be awesome! You can put your reddit names and I can send the Zoom link to each of you by PM. Excited to see how this pans out :)
I have ip cams and blink. The ip cam is great as you can watch all the feeds (viewing just alarm mode or can view any part of the feed) but it’s a pain to set up and you need to have a computer running 24/7 in order for it to save the feed. You’ll also need a plug handy near the camera and within wifi distance. There’s also an app you can view the camera live from your phone. Here’s an example https://www.amazon.ca/Outdoor-Security-Camera-Waterproof-Detection/dp/B08GQ95KWW?pd_rd_w=7yINh&pf_rd_p=e183bdf6-729e-4748-90fc-0158d028c767&pf_rd_r=RAAR0KZXMNRSDMXFT7EA&pd_rd_r=50f1c070-6962-48d9-b135-0209aa8d5767&pd_rd_wg=mX0K1&am...
The blink camera doesn’t record all feeds just the alarm mode and I find the reaction time and live feed slow/delayed. You view everything on your phone and it will notify you if there’s an alarm recording. It’s handy if you don’t have a computer or a plug nearby as it runs via battery.
Vacuum everything super well. Upholstery shampoo everything. Consider removing the seats to soak and dry them, as well as the whole carpet. DO NOT FORGET THE HEADLINER, smoke goes up. Change your cabin air filter out for an odour neutralizing filter. With your cabin air filter removed spray a deodorizer (scentless) in to that cavity with the fan on high. All the smoke has been recirculating through your duct work. If you really want a completely odorless car finish with this shit. https://www.amazon.ca/Auto-Shocker-eliminator-Biocide-Systems/dp/B001H8VLFC
We have had similar issues with bad air quality in our home and have been disbelieved as well I'm sorry you've experienced that too. We have bought this: Qingping Air Monitor, Indoor Air... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B0967WP9HS?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share and I can not say enough good things about it!, it's icen us price of mind that what we are feeling/smelling is real.
> MoCA adapter
something like this? Would I just connect the ethernet to the router, and connect the cable modem to the MoCA adapter (or use a splitter) and conenct the MoCA adapter to the coax line in the house? Would I need more MoCA adapters for each TV box or do they already connect on their own thru coax?
Viofo A119 or 129 Duo. Ours has been excellent. Self installed. No issues with cold or hot weather.

I'll second meetup.com - I run a Tabletop Gaming group through Meetup that is always open to new members, but there are lots of local groups that organize other social events via that platform, too.
They're vehicle specific, but you can buy one of these to temporarily clear the code. Handy to have anyways.

I recommend the pre screening tool when you head in. Saves you having to line up for screening g when you get there.
Half dozen cars managed to miss the no parking signs and electronic sign on johnson last evening. This one seems to think no parking for bike lanes means leave enough space for bike lane and park anyway? http://tinypic.com/r/smrepj/8
I disagree. As a deconverted Christian of 40 years (now deconverted for 4 years), I was able to rationalize and critically think about what I believed and why as a Christian. Now I'm an Ashiest. (And it's wonderful!). There are many intelligent people who have been deeply indoctrinated. It's crazy how the human mind works.
A fabulous book on how we *think* we are being rational and logical when we're probably not, (all of us, atheists, theists, left, right, centre, non-policital, etc) is The Righteous Mind: Why Good People Are Divided by Politics and Religion https://www.amazon.ca/Righteous-Mind-Divided-Politics-Religion/dp/0307455777

Might be time to take some deep breaths. If you're still fixated on the wiping thing, this one has a seat warmer and drying function.
You might be less prone to lose your cool when someone points out that "not having a doctor" is continually frustrating in new and unexpected ways.
I just searched FB marketplace and there is a freshly cleaned lenovo laptop on there. It literally looks like someone just scrubbed a bunch of stickers off of it. Not saying it's yours, but it looks suspicious.
Please feel free to join the Kingston Area Gamers on Meetup.com and ask around there, too.
We just filled up a 2 DM 5e campaign, but there always seems to be someone looking for a 5e game.
Iv gotten masks with better metal strips and even one box with a fabric/sponge blocker on the nose area for added blockage.
The ones with the extra fabric, are more expensive and generally they're just more comfortable.

I switched back to regular masks but found a brand that the metal strip is imo much better than general ones being given out.
Link - THINKA PROCEDURE MASK WITH... https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B088K9GDN5?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
It's more convenient and cheaper for me to use disposable masks than to reuse a mask. Originally I didn't believe regular masks could be worn without glasses fogging. It depends very much on the metal strip forming to the bridge of your nose.
seconding this. Our building has more than 10 units, and it just took one apartment to cause spread across the building. The problem was the people in the unit that was "ground zero" failed to disclose it, and they just kept reproducing and so it kept spreading. If you weren't the cause, and they're showing up now in your unit, I can bet it's worse somewhere else in the building. Clean your kitchen thoroughly, don't eat in any other room, and get glue traps. https://www.amazon.ca/Catchmaster-Insect-Trap-Monitors-288i/dp/B0746NZCMD/ref=asc_df_B0746NZCMD

Here are some tips for locking up your bike. (And other things)
All in all, it's primarily about deterrence. I wish you luck.
I don’t know anywhere local, but there are lots of options on Amazon with a range of styles and price points.
One option HERE.
Amazon.ca has them 3 pack for $29.99
Although taping up old movies is a great trick.

I was in your same situation, looking for dumbbells to buy/rent, I even tried to rent the ones from the YMCA, and after giving up I had to suck it up and spend over 150$ PER DUMBBELL...because like your brother, i was struggling since the YMCA closed. I ended up with 2 sets of dumbbells, cost 650$+tax.. They're insanely expensive. I couldn't find used ones anywhere, and I didnt wanna run from store to another looking for them so I got them from Amazon, with free delivery.
As an alternative, I highly recommend these cables: https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07C3NWT59/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I can do so many different workouts with them, and they can be challenging. He can use these for biceps, triceps, chest, back, shoulders etc.. there's really all sorts of exercises he can do with these. They come with everything you need to attach them above/under the door, and he can use more than 1 at a time for higher resistance.
I know that's not what you asked but hope that helps.
