Use these for mine and they’re currently on lightning deal. Holds em pretty secure IMO.

Check out this Sony amplifier. If you get one from Amazon warehouse it's a little cheaper sometimes.
You're paying a lot of money (in a slightly inferior speaker) for a built-in angle. You can accomplish the same thing with swivel mounts. I used these:
Also, the R-41SAs angle upwards/downwards, not left/right.
Something like this should do it: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000X9O8SI/ref=dp_prsubs_1
Be sure to remove the base of the speaker before mounting and find a stud to anchor to the wall. I know some on AVSForum have had success wall mounting their RP-600Ms with similar mounts.
Fans will help a ton. There are audio-specific fan "plates" kind of like laptop fans, but I found these individual fans on Amazon that I like much better because they have so many more configuration options, like vertical for inside tight shelves: https://www.amazon.com/AC-Infinity-MULTIFAN-Receiver-Playstation/dp/B00MWH4FL4
They are fairly cheap and super quiet - about 17db, which is nothing. I have them on or under all of my amps.

As for your sony - your speakers would benefit from both more power and better quality power - I'd either get a new receiver, or if you aren't ready for a huge purchase, get an amp off craigslist to run the klipsch. You can find NAD and other good brands for cheap used.
Thanks!
(IMO) The cheapest receiver that's decent and has a phono input for your grandfathers presumably older turntable is this Sony STR-DH190 - $150. It has more than enough power and wont blow up your speakers.
Sorry to hear about your granddad. It's nice that you have these incredible speakers to help you remember him though.
No problem. Yeah, you will need to order two sets of those cables and plug one from the L/R input on each speaker (2 total) then to the corresponding L/R output on an amp/receiver (at least 4 total).
Check out Fossi amps on Amazon. If no subwoofer, you could grab this:
These are speaker cables with banana plugs which makes it really easy:

I bought some washing machine anti-vibration pads from Amazom which really helped with my Klipsch 10” subwoofer in a similar situation. They also work great for cutting vibration on hardwood floors.
Klipsch the 5’s for $440 on Amazon have way better bass and more connections. https://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-Fives-Powered-Speaker-System/dp/B08KYPGC1D/ref=asc_df_B08KYPGC1D/?tag=hyprod-20&linkCode=df0&hvadid=475811984565&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=17643894725036074903&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&...
You can use a high level to low level converter to hook up the sub.
The RP-260 hands down. I'd be VERY suprised if anyone blindfolded could tell the difference between the two A/B testing them. Amazon has RP-8000F for $429.99 each in Piano Black, they have been spotted even lower price a few weeks ago and likely to be on sale for lower soon again. Piano black is slick and a dust and fingerprint magnet.
If you want to open it up and carefully spray the part with this stuff, it will clean it up and keep it from coming back for a long time.
Not real familiar with that turntable. Google says it's a pro-ject primary turntable with an ortofon OM 5e cartridge. If that's the case this should be the replacement. There are probably cheaper alternatives online. If it doesn't look like that then try asking in the r/vinyl weekly questions thread.
I have the same one, got it at Walmart for like $125 if I recall. Do yourself a favor and get the SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation feet. Congrats on the new sub!

Nope....sorry...it needs to be low level input .... not high level which you would be doing.

A lot of good comments, I wanted to add a suggestion I haven't seen.
There are tv stands that you mount the tv to instead of using the tv's stand kind of like this:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B002N6TYT2?ref\_=cm\_sw\_r\_cp\_ud\_dp\_5BK5G5TBT2VCJY1C9M2P
I bought a 10-pack from Amazon, there were 5-packs of connectors as well but that was only somewhat cheaper. The important part is GX16 and 4 pins: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/gx16-4-pin/s?k=gx16+4+pin&page=4
And I mean there's this on Amazon as well, which should work as an extension cable: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/Lon0167-Reliable-Efficiency-Aviation-Electrical/dp/B0842JRBTK
Did you have a link to the exact ones you got? Are they the WSS22-B1? These? Sanus Stand
I bought from the amazon renewed store. I read reviews that stated they were receiving new speakers, so I gave it a shot. $350 total and the speakers were brand new. They're going for $450 now.
I don't see them on any other pictures. Is it just an extra pair of grilles on top of the regular grilles, which can be removed/used separately?
Well yes, for music a long with the my very unneeded addition of an SVS sub, The Fives are ambrosia for the ears. But for some (certainly not all) movies and shows, the dialogue doesn't come through as well as I'd like. I am going to order a cheap powered soundbar with RCA inputs and hope that I can connect it to my subs RCA outs. If that works, it will hopefully serve me well as a certain channel. No idea if it will work, but am probably gonna add this guy:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IA8NDNU/ref=ox_sc_act_title_3?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1
There are not too many options with RCA inputs.
I would not plug in to the wall but rather this...
Panamax MD2 2-Outlet Surge Suppressor with LED Diagnostic Lights https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003GSLLCO/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_D9B392EK7N13G9CAYJAM?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
will protect your investment and will filter out line noise...
obviously not a full power line conditioner but WAY better than straight to the wall... and at this price point for Panamax quality is a no brainer
If you are still wondering what I did..
I decided to place the RP504C directly on top of three floating shelf brackets. The center, when placed on the bracket, blends and makes it looks good.
Link to the bracket I used. (if interested)

I'd go with this one. Has plenty of power for the Klipsch and it's handwired. This has some good reviews on Google !
Depends on what you're doing. Is this for TV watching? Or are you simply wanting a 2 channel experience?
If you want 2 channel new/modern; you might look at Rockville BlueTube's. They have a 70w with Bluetooth for under $200, and it will push MUCH bigger speakers if you go that route someday. My brother has an older version and loves it.
I dug around a bit and saw people were replacing this OEM driver with this: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002KRBH8/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
I'll post after it gets here on Tuesday with how it sounds. It's not an exact match - but appears to be close.
Might look into the Yamaha A-S301 for $349....has phono preamp,DAC,subwoofer output and built to last. Sorry no class D for me...either class A or A/B for quality sound !!
IMO...a really great combination with the RP600m would be the Cambridge AXA25. It's only 25 wpc, but it's plenty for these speakers. Cambridge and Klipsch go very well together. Klipsch can be a bit on the bright side while Cambridge is usually thought of being a bit warm. You'd get the best of both worlds with this combo. The AXA25 is only $225 on Amazon.
My wife bought me these for my R-51M’s and they are sleek looking.

I bought these Kanto "6" Speaker Stands for the Fives on my desk last month and love them. You can't see it well in the product photos, but they are heavy steel and very solid. The bring my speakers just high enough to be next to the monitor instead of beneath it, and I like that they aim straight forward. With the weight of the speakers and stands together, they feel super stable and I highly recommend.
I initially tied cheaper aluminum stands that angled up, but the Fives weighed way too much and caused them to bend and wobble.
Amazon still has new/old stock for the rb series that sound more on the warm side, Klipsch RB-51 II (Pr) 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers,Black,Dimensions: 11.4" H x 6.5" W x 10.75" D https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0040LG96O/ref=cm_sw_r_awdo_navT_g_QF6Y9DNKPNB4TR2N8B62
Sweet, thanks!
>As for the power, you may be right, I am unable to find an actual spec sheet that lists 2ch or single ch, so it may be accurate.
Maybe because it's a little older? I know manufacturers change how they list things to 'bump up the stats'. I wonder if it's possible that's what's going on now?
Anyway, thanks for the help! I'll take this into consideration for sure. I think you may have sold me on which ones to buy!

I have a wall mount I use for my old pair of R51M's which are these :
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000X9O8SI/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

And yeah, I got the CAD part, I was just going based off the USD Conversion which seemed too much for the R51M, so I figured you should be able to get some RP bookshelves that much.

As for the power, you may be right, I am unable to find an actual spec sheet that lists 2ch or single ch, so it may be accurate. I was just going off the basis of most AVR's being listed as x wpc at 1ch driven, or x wpc at 2ch driven, but the ALL channel driven is usually half or less of the power. If it is the actual 110w/ch ALL channel that should be more than enough, don't worry about it being too much for klipsch speakers, it should be more than enough.
I have a similar sized room. I just purchased the Klipsch RB-51 II (Pr) 2-Way Bookshelf Speakers,Black,Dimensions: 11.4" H x 6.5" W x 10.75" D https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0040LG96O/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_FP05WX6VAEMP7GMR7A3Q?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
They have been discontinued for awhile now but are one helluva speaker if you can get them in Canada. The price is definitely right compared to the 500M's
I'm replacing my JBL ES 30's
I'm full Klipsch now with all my speakers. I love the way they sound. I'm also running two 12" subs in my room. That alone really helped with the bass. You just have to be careful and get them tuned on right and the crossovers for the surrounds. Plenty of YouTube videos to help with that.
Oh wow. They are gone at the $699 price already. That was for the pair. Look for the RP-280F. Those should be around $800 for the pair. The RP-280FA speakers had built in Dolby Atmos speakers but you don't have to use the extra speakers. The RP-280F are the same speakers without the Atmos. Still a high quality speaker. You can keep checking slickdeals as well. I'm sure the speakers will go back on sale at some point. But here is the Amazon link for the other ones. Slightly higher than the other ones

You may be able to find those cheaper used as well
By surround I was referring to side, as it is my understanding that in a 5.1 setup they should go to the side. The main listening position is the grey couch across from the TV, so figured I needed to get them to the left and right of that couch as much as possible.
My plan for the RP150M's was to either 1) Put them on stands to the left and right of the media center OR 2) Mount them on the wall using something like this. We are expecting to start a family soon, so having them on speaker stands could be a hazard, so I'd rather mount them on the wall if that does not take away from the quality too much.
They're $999 on Amazon:

Okay, so I hooked it up to the R-41m. Sounds good. Has the treble and bass knob that does affect the sound. Still makes it sound nice and clean. And not bad. The amp itself is heavier than I thought it would be. I was expecting something cheap but quite the contrary.
As far as placement. Yeah, I have an outdoor garage that I will mount them onto, and turn them on when Im cleaning the backyard or something. I'll probably make a custom sleeve to go over the speakers and amp to prevent critters from getting in there or dust.
I wanted to take em to my GFs house, and place a TV in their outdoor gazebo area, but the amp is a bit to heavy. I'll use this mounts. outdoor mounts
I purchased this one. It's arriving today, so I won't get a chance to test it out till it gets here. I'll let you know what I think when I get it. Pyle amp
If you pull the insert out the post should just be screwed in on the back. I think you should be able to just put new terminal posts on easy. I can’t find that shape anywhere, but look at these.

Wire goes into banana plug connector. They are inexpensive, and a good wire stripper is too. I bought these stands from Amazon because they had great cable management.
I also stuck some 3M velcro command strips on the bottom of the speakers to Roomba-proof them. Take a look.
I just ordered some of the Monolith cherry wood stands. Won’t be here until Monday and they can’t be filled since they’re solid wood, so hopeful they sound alright. Might refinish them in Walnut so they match my 600m’s, if I like them
Got them from Amazon for $65 a piece.
Sanus also makes some fairly attractive stands. Sanus.com
I was on a budget and bought these.
https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B007P8DKDE/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_AAW83KSTAXH48M4Q5B5N
Cheap and cheerful. Use them with my RP 500M's. The base doesn't look carbon fibre-y, like the picture.
Due to the nature of my job, I'm forced to get hearing tests each year, and wear ear plugs at work. Saves my hearing a bit so I can destroy it at home with my stereo.
My surrounds are the R-14M. Just standard bookshelf speakers. Same tweeter as my towers, woofer is the same material as my towers. Just smaller is all. These are discontinued. Replaced with the ones you asked about. Same woofer, slightly different tweeter. When they were phasing these out, they went on a 1/2 price sale. Made the decision to go with Klipsch and the Reference series REAL easy.
I could move my rear surrounds out from the wall a bit. Never really thought of it. Plenty of room. Might try that when I get time.
These are the stands I bought. I put a rubber pad between the speakers and the sides so as to not scratch them, and to hold them a bit better once I balanced my Atmos on top of them. No hook on the back as I didn't want to screw any holes in my speakers.
Having a lower Atmos speaker like yours might be better for my lower ceiling. But I like the flexibility I have with with separate speakers
Can you rotate your room 90 degrees? Put the back of the couch facing the bar/counter? I had to rotate my room 90 when I got this set up. My old Bose 6.1 system needed the side walls to reflect off of. This system needs to length of the room more.
It's not super pronounced to begin with. More ambient with the occasional stand out spot. Just like an upgraded form of the surround sound we're used to already.
So... after mounting them and giving them a workout, I have to say I'm impressed overall. Clean sound that work well as satellites. That said—and this is important—if you decide to mount them, bear in mind the location of the PAIR button on the back. The original mounts I purchased covered the button which made them useless overall. I went with these instead which offer a lower profile mount.
https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B07T5J2BTX/ref=cm_sw_r_tw_dp_RB2ZY07C7C78ECA3B503
Yeah, the SPL120 should do the trick.
There's also the $209 BIC F12 which is famous for being a great value. It's not necessarily the most accurate sub, but you get lots of power and you can get two for $400.
I'm a huge proponent of dual subs as it really helps to even out room response. For example, I would definitely go with dual 10's over a single 12".
I would return the Klipsch buds. Their high end home theater and stereo speakers are good, but their other products typically aren’t worth the money. Last year I got my wife the Jabra Elites and she loves them, I also bought myself a pair and they are great.

These Micca cables are a pair of 6ft cables that have banana plugs already attached, $20 for the pair. You'd be able to make your own cheaper, but these are really nice quality cables.
Friend of mine at work has these and I tried them out, they're really good. I was impressed and you don't have the whole ear pain from buds being in for too long.

The SMSL SA300 is my pick for a cheap desktop amp. It has all the features and inputs you'd ever need, for $140.
If you have the space, a full sized reciever like the $139 Sony 190 is a good choice. It does not have a DAC but in though, so you'd be using your PC's built in DAC (the sound card).
It works again! If I thought the DAC audio was not acceptable I would be tearing it apart and at least reflow that part of the board. But I got lucky and I hear no hissing and the sound is pretty good on this DAC. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08GX3PP15
I got 1 foot RCA cable too, super shielded. Only $6. Pretty happy. Hopefully can keep this thing running another 5 years.
if you really need to wall mount them then your best option might be the clamping mounts like these
dont forget to make sure theyre attached to studs or you might have a nasty accident
I purchased this amp:
But it does not have sub out

These took me a while to find, they worked out perfectly.
Following up on this- the problem wasn't the speakers! I had a MiSTer fpga device set up and it turns out that thing emits some funky CEC signals that can confuse a TV and cause it to drop external speakers. Sure enough, with my MiSTer unplugged from HDMI, the Fives are working great.
If anybody has a MiSTer and The Fives (wonder how many of us are there?) you can apparently order a CEC-less HDMI adapter like this https://www.amazon.com/Lindy-HDMI-Adapter-Female-41232/dp/B00DL48KVI/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2FWEVXPXIWYV9&dchild=1&keywords=cec-less+hdmi+cable&qid=1604105850&sprefix=cec-less+%2Celectronics%2C211&sr=8-3 and make it play nice with your speaker setup.
Sorry for bad-mouthing The Fives! Leaving my post above in case others have a similar problem.
If you don't want to mount the TV on the wall, this might help you raise it enough to fit the center speaker under it.

Amazon says: This item will be released on October 1, 2019.
Thank you for the detailed reply. Picked up T5's from amazon, they are just 70USD now. Hopefully connection issues are not as bad as being reported. I have some basic very budget Xiaomi Airdots now and those weigh 4.1g while T5's are 5.5g, so in terms of weight not too terrible difference.
Height is fairly important for imaging so you’ll want to measure the height of your ear when you are sitting. You want your ears to be somewhere in between the woofer and tweeter. Generally somewhere between 22-28” stands are adequate. These are excellent stands that I own for the price, you can run the wires through the stand as well.

This is the old model of the current SPL-120. This is a very good deal for a very good subwoofer. IMO you will not find a better sub at $400 perhaps $500. Klipsch Powergate Amplified Playfi Wireless Gateway https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01N0A7PH5/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_Rke1Cb7DRGG2F
This powergate? I was looking into schiit mani amp. Do you think this is a better amp?
Also, do I need a receiver to run them as well?
I took a chance and bought this nice looking mini amp with headphone output for some Bose speakers I have (My main speakers ARE Klipsch) and it works really good. From Price to quality to size , I like everything about it, but I'm not a big headphone user so I haven't tried the headphone amp part but I'd assume the quality is just as good. It has USB input, (not sure if just for headphones) Bluetooth input and RCA analog inputs. It's really small and looks nice, just hide the big powerbrick and you should be good.
That's an extremely common problem, the wires break internally near the plug. The more you push and twist to restore the connection, the worse it'll get.
Fortunately it's pretty easy to fix. I chopped off the plug plus a few inches of cable, then did the same to a PS/2 mouse cable and spliced all the wires together. Works like a charm.
