They actually confirmed in a blog years ago that one year will be condensed to 12 weeks, effectively making the years pass about 4.35 times faster. If we can suspend disbelief on that then I feel like you could also just have aging occur at twice the rate so that a baby reaching maturity at say 16 would take 672 in-game days. Add more travel time in the bigger map and hopefully more ways to make the time pass quickly during peace and I think that'd be a reasonable amount of time to have a child ready in the mid-late game. Definitely interesting to think about what other ways they might make it work, some may have to be modded in to reach the feature's full potential.
> And finally: In the past few weeks, some people have asked us if we plan to attend the next E3. After careful consideration, we have decided against it, and we won’t be going to Los Angeles this year.

Hey guys I have a life hack
If you listen to keyboard cat 50 hour version after approx 180 instances, one year would have passed and bannerlord would be out. So only watching a youtube video 180 times would make bannerlord appear? Yes! All your problems are solved . Say thank to god turkçe the sloppy game develpoer for that life hax, or there will be no scabbards in the game.
If you like game of thrones try the world of ice and fire mod in warband.
I loved vanilla warband but since playing that mod it's completely amplified my love for mount & blade, It's very difficult at first but once you get the hang of things you can play for hundreds of hours.
There's a blog for that! Important passage:
>Each of the horses come in a variety of colours, which we think helps to add to the overall immersion of the game, and in addition to this, we implemented a horse mark variation system which adds some additional variety to the horses by randomly assigning them with leg and facial markings, which helps to make them look and feel more natural.
Ah, right. Well in the campaign map blog they explain that they now use the scene editor to create campaign maps and in the modding blog they include the scene editor in the list of tools available to modders.
that was a pretty old blog from 2015. here is the link https://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/14 The aging system is mentioned in that blog as: One major change from Warband is how time progresses; the yearly cycle has been shortened to twelve weeks, which adds more importance to the changing seasons and ageing of characters.
it's great to know that you used G2A.
If you're happy with shopping and you have a free moment, we'd be super glad if you dropped by and gave us a rating on Trustpilot - (just like Mario we are collecting stars). If not, please share with me any feedback you might have to improve the quality of your shopping.
I think that's a fine laptop but a better choice would be something like this
it's a Lenovo Legion which has a reputation as the best brand in terms of build quality and airflow. additionally the 3050 is a pretty big upgrade from the 1650. lastly, the 3050 has DLSS support while the 1650 doesn't.
I asked the same question here recently. I’m looking to get this one.
A fellow poster here said they have this same laptop and they can run Bannerlord on the highway settings.
It's already working, mostly. You'll need dotnet48 and you'll need to patch the wine you use with three patches:
All of them available here.
Oh hell yeah that's right. I'll link the mod so you can see, they already have some ork models, so it will be cool to see them with legit hotboxes and everything.

Actually only 5. They went from 3 to 5 for bannerlord singleplayer:
https://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/20
"There are currently 60 people working directly on Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord, plus 19 more people in different administration and support tasks – but let’s break these numbers down a little bit so that you can get to know us better. We have a design team which consists of 5 people, 2 of which are narrative designers."
That is consistent with what one of the lead programmers said too.
> Well sturgians, based on Vikings absolutely should have female soldiers
Nope. For a start, Sturgians are based on the Kievan Rus, who had some major Viking cultural influences but weren't really Vikings.
Secondly, Viking female warriors is a myth with almost no supporting evidence except a single case of a tomb, and you can read more about that here, from the blog of a female professor of Viking history. Her conclusion is that there is no supporting evidence for female Viking soldiers.
Games like For Honor propagate false-history myths that female Viking soldiers were a thing.
Yes and no. TalesWorld intended for the PC to potentially bite the dust and have your heir take over. ( Tho they said you can disable that). However, seeing how abysmal it is to gain reputation with lords right now, I don't think that's a thing just yet.

Why not just read their blogs theyve been posting?
Also just because mechanics look similar does not mean they're the same, especially when using a new engine.......
I hope so. Politics will be a lot more developed and I think that marshalls are still in the game so you can delegate leading the army to a trusted subject and order them to attack certain towns.
On that subject, kingdom ruling (and some settlement development) won't be implemented in the early access which releases on the 31st this month. When it does come I don't know if there will be options to start as king, though I'm sure there will be mods for that.

Mount&Blade II: Bannerlord Developer Blog 7 - Imperial Declines
The rough setting is laid out in this dev blog from Taleworlds.
Combine with the Wiki entry for the Calradic Empire, and click the link for each faction to get what appears to be compiled info on each.
This is a good one. We MIGHT be able to breed mounts, actually! Don't take my word for it as this is speculation, but... I noticed two things.
Interesting to hear it may be more complex. I was just going off the official Dev blog. https://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/56
Ok so... impatient, don't know if I would go that far.
Game announced 2012, project started in 2011.
Number of dev blogs: 100
Communication = on average since announcement 1 dev blog every 30 days.
Here is dev blog 1: https://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/1
Note the screenshot at the bottom depicting what seems to be a full created scene and a pretty good looking character, especially by the standards of the time.
Release date: unknown, originally by end of year 2016.
E3 appearance along with several gamescom appearances.
Custom battle demos for media outlets.
Often here "soon", "just awhile longer", etc. Being used.
So 5 years after the project began we get a release date that is missed.
3 years after that we haven't gotten a new release date.
How close to complete did the game have to be to drop a release date?
How could a competent game studio be off by >3 years on the release date?
The examples you have used were all game studios that had other projects going simultaneously with team resources being split and prioritized on different projects. Bannerlord has been the sole focus of TW for going on 8 years now.
Also, it isn't like we are upset about something that never had a release date, and I think that is a big thing you are missing. It DID have a release date. The release date has been pushed indefinitely up to this point. The other games you mentioned took awhile but 1. Didnt give a grossly under estimated release date. 2. Weren't officially announced until much closer to their releases.
I have worked as a project manager in the software industry (no not gaming but software). If I gave a release date that was off by 3 years I would have been fired so hard that I would still be getting yelled at by the guy who fired me.
The last dev blog, from 21/02/19 was #98
If you look at the end of the URL, you will see the number (you can decrease it to see the previous posts):
You've got a lot of material to go through and get hyped about, just search Bannerlord on youtube and there's tonnes of gameplay videos. Then you can go through the dev blogs, which there are heaps of (and there's a new one every week, starting again for the new year later today). Then you can join the rest of us in our descent into madness as time continues to pass without a release date!
I feel like that was e3 a year or two ago? When they released videos of the player acting as a captain within a larger army...
Edit: found a link
https://www.taleworlds.com/en/Games/Bannerlord/Blog/18
Seems like that still has the player building their own party on the world map, but if you enter a battle with an ally, you can merge forces and take the role of a sergeant.
I am not comparing this to warband. What I am saying is that if you look at the screen shots/renders released in 2013 what is seen here is nothing new.
I do remember seeing this. If this is the case then a lineage system would be perfectly viable. They also said you can kill a lord, steal his sword and murder his entire family. Personally the more we discuss the lineage system the more hope I have that it will be in the game. A week being a full year seems to be a bit fast maybe a week being a full month. EDIT: Just found the link It says 7 paragraphs down that its 12 weeks to a year.
