Over the Edge of the World is a great read. It's about Magellan's circumnavigation. Checks all those boxes, easy, engaging read with lots of interesting historical stuff.

It’s a quick easy read. I crushed it in a few hours.
I’m not a philly fan, but still really enjoyed this guys wild story. I would say it’s a must read for older sports fans or philly fans.
