Ford prefers to have their 12V sockets to stay on when the car is off. I've owned three Fords going back to 2005, and they all behave this way. There is no way to change this short of digging into the wiring and adding some relays. Not something I would suggest.
If you want your dashcam to power off when you turn off the car, I would suggest getting a model that supports a hard wire kit with parking mode. In both my FoST and F150 I'm using this camera with this wiring kit. Its a pretty sweet setup because there is no splicing into the factory wiring required. You'll just have to do some probing at the fuse box to figure out which circuits are always live and which ones are only live when the car is on.
As for why your car is waking up randomly while parked in the garage I am not sure. You may want to contact your local dealer to see if this is a known issue or if they have tools to diagnose what is going on.

I read somewhere about this filter that’s supposed to be a lot better, so perhaps if you’re in a smelly area then give it a try. I just installed one in my Mach-E about a week ago, so I’m still assessing how big of a difference it makes. But I can say that this filter at least appears to have much better filtration capabilities than the stock filter - basically dollar store filter versus a nice Filtrete filter. You get what you pay for.

then you're not scraping at all.
I just use a rear seat cover and a seatbelt leash. It doesn't stop all of the hair, but it keeps almost all of it off of the interior. The seat cover attaches to the front headrests so that the dogs don't fall onto the floor if I brake quickly, and the seatbelt keeps them from jumping into the front seat. My only complaint is that they can still scratch the door upholstery/leather.
I fold everything up and put it in the frunk when I'm not using it. All-weather floor mats help keep the dog hair out of the carpet as well.
I did the Garmin Mini 2 as well with the Dongar adapter. I added aShort right angle USB adapter. so that it would be less intrusive. And I drilled a small notch in the rear view mirror bezel.
Get some laptop webcam 'sliders' and put them over the motion sensors (and those forever on blue lights too)
they can't 'see' motion, if you close their eyes!
You can, but you should enclose it in an appropriate box, like this for RVs.
Dang, you're right that won't work. I found a forum post mentioning this:
It seems like it might work, but not ideal. I would suspect that if your car gets coated in road grim in the winter that the suction cups might have a tough time of it.
I got one for my Mach-e too, but I got the Spigen one tap. It fits perfectly on the corner and you can hide it behind the screen when not in use. I mostly use it for video calls while driving. I suggest you shop around. I don't think Best Buy has the best technicians.
I grabbed one of these when my KonaEV killed the 12v twice.
Can use it to jump an EV several times, an ICE, probably once.
(Before needing a recharge anyway)
The problem with a lot of dash cams, and no, I don't have a solution, is the cam uses up the 12v power, dropping to 11v, but the main traction battery will then recharge the 12v from 11v, then the dash cam will see the voltage is again 12v so it will turn back on, and drop the voltage again, and the traction battery will do it again, and again, and again.
Cycling the battery like this will kill a cell or two (happened to me) and you'll have to replace that week-ass factory battery (replaced mine twice (KonaEV not Mach E) under warranty)
I've read a few forums and some people say this is the best solution.
But I have not tried it yet. I have mine plugged into the 12v plug in the center console for now.
They don't care if you're an obvious 'Tesla' that is obviously electric, much less a Mach E that some might know is electric. If you don't have the sticker, you pay the fine.
I've read about some (with a Mach E) that have their stickers in the glovebox and got pulled over, they still got a ticket because it is supposed to be displayed, and no, putting it on now doesn't count, that just means you won't get another ticket.
/Get some DMV shaped PPF stickers and put them on that way. They're only good for 4 years, and you can't get another set. Once expired, they'll peel right off with no residue.
Ahhh, here's the $12 version. We got the password cut out ones, but we left it on as we never use it, but if we need it, we can always pull it off.
Left the buttons on as well, so they don't glow
You'll have to dig further I suppose. Until the Mrs. sends me a link.
Your link doesn’t work. It looks like you combine two websites into one link, and the first one doesn’t have a full URL. It shows up as “https://bestek300wpowerinverterdc12v...https//www.amazon.com/dp/B004MDXS0U?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share”, so one has to edit the HTML code to get to the correct Amazon page.
For what it's worth, I have 188 cm skis and they fit inside the car just fine with the back seat down. You can only fit 3 people in the car that way, and I'd recommend putting a tarp in the car for cleanliness and keeping the edges from cutting anything, but it's worked great for me.

Never took them off, the Mrs worked around the rear pony and the side badges stay on so no reason to pull em.

Just to follow up in case it helps someone in the future. I replaced one of the GFCI 20A in the garage with one from Eaton (link below) and it fixed my issue. Plan to only use the Eaton GFCI's in the future and may change out all the others in my garage as well.

We found these on Amazon, it arrived quicker than stated time, and looks pretty good.
We left on the button covers (no light) and the numbers pad (never use it, if needed can peal off)
Cool use of a product for a different purpose. Would be interested to see if they stay on.
Went down a rabbit hole of checking if a smaller single press button rather than joystick was a thing without much luck. Would be cool to easily add a tactile button on frequently used controls.
Maybe something like the buttons in this package where the only review says it works for single presses (not an issue with this use)🤔

Its a bit spendy, but the ODBLinkMX+ is highly regarded by pretty much everyone. It works on all platforms and most every ODBII app out there, including Car Scanner. I have personally verified Car Scanner compatibility on my personal iPhone with my Mach E, so you should definitely be good to go there.
I would suggest getting a dedicated 14-50 plug for your car if you can.

I just picked up two Pulsar Plus Wallboxes because they can be set up to share a circuit between two vehicles if both are plugged in (we will have two EVs in a few weeks).
I had the ~same setup with my KonaEV.
The process of BlackVue draining the 12V and the traction battery charging it all durning the time it was off/not driving, killed a Cell (there are 6 in a 12V) and I had to replace the battery twice. (warranty)
In my Mach E, I have an OBDII power harness with an on/off switch for now, but it's annoying when I forget to turn it on/off.
Does that power saver actually work for you? What's the brand/link for it?
I tried a couple of 'black boxes' in my Mach E that claimed to shut off the dash cam after x volts.
However,
What seems to happen (in my case (BlackVue 750S-2CH)) is the volt sensor to check on 12V battery level and turn off after a drop in voltage would shut off the cams, but then the car would sense the 12V drop, instruct the traction battery to recharge the 12V then when the 12V was back to normal, the black box would turn the dashcam back on and it would do it all over again.
I used the BlackVue PowerMagic Pro version as well as a ODB style with a switch that 1. turns it off after car off +5m, or 2. Turns off after voltage drop

I charge on a Nema 6-20 20Amp circuit pulling roughly 16 amps for ~10 miles an hour of charge. Works great for us - will charge 20-80% overnight-ish, and we rarely need that.
We have the Lectron charger which comes as a Nema 6-20 plug - but there are also adapters out there to convert to Nema 6-20. What confused me was what adapters were 'allowed' or if the chargers are smart enough to only pull the right amount of power....either way - works well for us.

It’s been great so far. We use the charger that came with the car only for 120v charging and the Mustart is connected to the dryer plug. It mounts to the wall just like the home charger and if you buy a $20 plug mount you'd have a setup almost identical to OP's photo.
That said, I don't know what the speed differences are. But I do know lots of people seem to be having issues with Ford's mobile charger. So, hopefully the official home charger works better.

I use this OBD2 to 12V adapt. for mine

I mounted it in my garage on a cabinet made of partial board with some anchors
I already had a 240V outlet in my garage for a washer/Dryer. It’s a Nema 10-30 outlet that can handle 30A, with the guideline being not to pass more than 24A for regular usage. So I bought this charger from Amazon. It was cool to upgrade to 240 V charging without any electrical work.
I've seen this in my Amazon reccomended purchases for awhile. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09J8FC21D/ don't know how good it is and reviews are mixed. But I assume that's what you're looking for. I'd imagine a plastic garbage bag with some magnets and modifications would be nearly just as good though.
Amazon, they have a few colors (black, red, blue, silver). $25
To install you peel off the existing. Then put top of the metal pedal frame into the slot and pull not sides and bottom of the new rubber packing until you can get the metal pedal into the groove.
Definitely tougher when they are cold like here in Chicagoland, but me an the dog got it done in about 15-20 mins. But my gas pedal was missing it’s cover anyway so that saved some time.

I am not association to the manufacturer. Overall, I am satisfied with the set. I was able to hide the wires underneath the floor mats. However, I wish their wires were slightly longer. If it was longer, I would of been able to hide the controller box more, but i don't think people can notice it right now. I am powering off of the rear USB-A port with a 90 deg angled plug. This way its out of the way. I didn't want wires coming out of the front USB-A port.

I ordered this center storage divider but haven't received it yet. It looks nice though. The center storage of the Mach-E is just an empty hole which can make storing things annoying because they'll bump into each other and rattle. Right now I have a microfiber cloth in there blocking some of the things so it doesn't make noise but that can only work so well.
The center storage divider looks nice and I've seen others recommend it. There's a v1 and v2 where the difference is the v2 doesn't have a coin divider. I'm sure either is pretty good and a pretty safe gift. I imagine most car owners would use it because there's no real downside to it.

I use this one. I originally bought it for my Leased Tucson, then moved it to my r/KonaEV (after a trip to the washing machine) and now it's in my Mach E, it's a bit tight, but works just fine.
And, as mentioned, it seems to be washing machine/dryer safe!

I don't have my Mach-E yet but I have a Leaf that came with a flat sealing system from Continental (seemingly no longer made) instead of a spare. I had a shard of metal that caused a not so slow leak and the system worked really well. Brought it to a shop and they did the full repair, no problem, no sensors needed replacing. The shop said that they just need to clean the goop out as an extra step but there was no special charge for it.
The Continental system was wasteful as it was a one time use thing, including the pump. I replaced it with a system where the sealing material and the pump are separate: AirMan ResQ Tire Repair Kit https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B00BJ34L3E/ They specifically state that it's safe on TPMS. I'd be surprised if other modern sealing systems weren't but the fact that it's an advertising point makes me wonder...
The only part I bought directly from Thule is the Kit 145284 which is specifically made for the MME. The clamps and bars I bought from Amazon. These are the foot clamps I purchased from Amazon. Thule 710501
I understand your concern :( I don't know if shopping on Amazon will make you feel safer, but if you would buy one on Amazon, this is our listing.

I used the PPF backing from here. I put the small ones on my passenger side rear bumper and passenger side front bumper.
The two large are in their envelope in the glove box.
I only use the HOV stickers to be able to use the on-ramp, I never have a need for the HOV lanes.
>always check immediately after it goes through to be sure the little square piece on the front bumper is still there.
Put some painter's tape on it before going thru.
Or get the front end PPF'd and tell them not to cut the opening, you can do it if you ever need to.
Or!, get one of those PPF HOV lane sticker backings and put that over it.
I was thinking about mounting a license plate frame from the underside of the color-keyed painted bumper and having the plate go upwards toward the faux-grill area.
Something like this: Zone Tech Bumper License Plate Relocator - Premium Quality Classic Black Universal Fit Front Bumper License Plate Relocator Bracket Holder Bar https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072BXMM2T/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_P9ESDXX7M10QVCDS4VCW?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I’d still have to drill but it’d be less invasive I think.
Please verify this is correct. I haven’t purchased one but I believe this is what was posted on an MME Facebook page.

As I don't often have anyone in the back (Picked it up July 31 and so far no one) I pop off the headrests and put them in a shopping bag in the 'trunk'
As far as the rear window wipers not getting the whole back window, you can replace them with this, and it'll get it all.
no no no. a 50 amp plug needs wire and a breaker to match

I bought this one (https://www.tesmanian.com/collections/ford-mustang-mach-e-accessories/products/ford-mustang-mach-e-glass-roof-sunshade)
But Amazon has one that looks the same for much cheaper (https://smile.amazon.com/dp/B098963C2P/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_EZGTQW039HHCZHV7396R) I like it and it really helps block out the heat on hot days.
