Just an FYI some people have had issues getting banned for using a VPN with .
DNS is a much safer alternative. Unlocator has been great for me for the last 2 seasons. You can even use it on consoles and rokus and whatnot. They give you a free 7 day trial. If it works for you I believe it's only like $5 a month.
Good luck getting it set up!
GOMS!
Check out airbnb for housing aswell, I think with that price range for a hotel you shouldn't have too much trouble finding something kinda close to the stadium. You could also stay in west Seattle which is a cool area and just take the water taxi over to downtown.
I like the seats behind home plate right behind the diamond club but some people are turned off by the netting. Behind the dugout the seats are legit too. You can also get a few brews (H7 IPA is the ticket) and a bite over at Pyramid brewing across the street from Safeco.
Edit: Here's a airbnb link https://www.airbnb.com/s/Seattle--WA?&moweb_redirect=true
I'm seeing it's not supported by Xfinity/Comcast subscribers.

Thank Christ. I guess six is the magic number for Servais.
In honor of this moment, could somebody photoshop Eddie's face onto Static Shock? You know, this guy
Nick Neidert. Very advanced young pitcher who competes and prepares far beyond his age.
I read constantly. I'd recommend Man's Search for Meaning by Viktor Frankl. I would use that book often back when I was a teacher.
Have you tried Yonder or Unlocator?
Yes you do have to pay a little bit for a monthly or yearly subscription but it does work. I currently have Unlocator but plan on going to Yonder when my current subscription runs out.
It basically routes IP traffic to make it appear like it is not originating from a certain area. It does require a little bit of setup on your router. There are tutorials on the sites that are helpful in walking you through the steps.
A VPN service will basically do the same thing.
1977 Mariners slogan: We Can Do It Together. The 70s were sexier times. Also, here's all of them: link.
Healy was doing plyometric exercises, also called "jump training," for quick movements. Lots of one-legged jumping and hopping and fast transitions to mimic the quick movements needed by a fielder. He rolled his ankle. That's not a Dr. Lorena thing, that's a shitty accident that could happen to anyone, especially a big guy like Healy. It's really, really bad timing and bad luck, and probably even improbable for a guy in his physical condition, yet it wasn't Dr. Lorena's fault. It's not like she can magically prevent someone from falling down when she's not even in the room (we assume).
I'm glad you enjoyed it! If you're interested in reading more - Kyle Lewis is #11 - shoot me a DM with your email address. I'll send you a PDF'd version of the book for free. LINK for proof.
Yes you will unless you get a VPN or service like Yonder or Unlocator.

Mariners games are blacked out on to anyone living in the "Seattle area" which includes WA, OR, ID, MT, and AK. This is because ROOT Sports (which is majority owned by the Mariners) has exclusive broadcasting rights through 2030. ROOT offers streaming to cable customers that have ROOT as part of their cable package, but Comcast is excluded from that.
But there is a workaround! Use a VPN with . There are free VPN options out there but I do not recommend using them as they log and sell your data and have stability and bandwidth issues. There are several paid options out there such as NordVPN which are pretty reasonable considering all their applications aside from just this (and MUCH cheaper than paying for a cable package including ROOT).
Setting up a VPN is different depending on your device. If you're watching on a phone, tablet, or computer, the process is pretty simple. To watch on your TV, it is a bit more complicated and depends on the equipment you have but is definitely doable. You set the VPN to show that you are outside the broadcast area and you're good to go.
AND FYI, Sprint customers are eligible for all TMobile Tuesday offers including this one!
Not anymore! It's wrapped in a highly reflective chrome cherry red thing. It's kinda awesome looking. His wife posted a shot of it the other day on Instagram, saying she wanted to switch with him (or rather, he said he wasn't switching with her after she complimented it). You can see how shiny it is by looking at the white car next to it. Thing was damn near blinding from 30 yards in person, heh. I believe the other car he had in camp was a two-tone Bentley that she drove, but it isn't listed on those.
There is a great post up on ESPN that breaks down what is happening today in the wild card race but essentially the Mariners need to win tonight and tomorrow, and the Tigers and Blue Jays need to lose at least once, and if the Orioles lose twice. If all that happens, we'll be in a 4-way tie. So just hope to fucking god the Mariners win tonight. http://www.espn.com/blog/sweetspot/post/_/id/74274/how-to-spend-the-perfect-saturday-of-wild-card-baseball via @ESPN App http://es.pn/app
I mean, yeah I'm out of market so when I don't use /r/MLBStreams I just have the game thread on one tab and MLB Gameday on the other. Also, I was referencing this incident that happened a couple years back
Try this link. If it works, make sure and add the $10 sports package and don't forget to set a reminder to cancel lol.
We some how got ranked 4th best hot dog in the MLB? Am I missing something? Our hot dog seem kind of average unless I've been missing an awesome hot dog vendor somewhere in Safeco.
Check out Windscribe. Great free VPN. I get 15gb a month.
EDIT: And it doesn't swap IP addresses. It's fully secured and still free. Pay for it if you like it though.
Pretty simple even if one isn't tech savy.
Just download or install any VPN.
For example, I use a google chrome extension called Zenmate VPN. Toggle the on button and change the location to a different country other than USA.
Then refresh the Ms game on and it should work fine.
Unlocator works as long as you're not trying to use mobile, then yes, your GPS overrides the DNS spoof from unlocator.
I use the premium app on my apple tv, PS4, roku and fire stick (not all at once, mind you).
As another poster said, Unlocator is very cheap, safe and reliable. I used it last season and didn't miss a game.
Also, Tmobile customers got free last year, so if you or any one you know uses that provider you might want to wait until the week before opening day to see if they run the promotion again. If not runs a single team package for about $89 a season, though I think it's worth the extra $20 for the full package, especially after this last season when our playoff chances depended so much on other teams.
Edit: for the record, a 6 year old could use Unlocator if VPNS sound intimidating. There's a tutorial with pictures, and I think it's only like 4 steps. Took all of 45 seconds to set up after the first time.
There are apps in Chrome that make your IP look like it's somewhere else. I'm using DotVPN at the moment. Have it connect, then start the stream, then disconnect the app. You can also pay for a VPN, usually around $5 a month, that'll change your IP. I'm down in Vancouver and have watched nearly every game on this year. The HD is fucking awesome, and often you can switch the audio to hear the radio announcers and it matches up very well.
I use Private Internet Access.
I found The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up: The Japanese Art of Decluttering and Organizing to be pretty helpful in my life.

Found an ESPN article from 2009 that mentions Canseco believed he used steroids in high school. Also says that high school teammates said he was using in high school.
http://www.espn.com/mlb/news/story?id=4114292
>Jose Canseco, a former teammate of Rodriguez, said in Roberts' book that he believes Rodriguez has been using steroids since high school.
>"Was he on steroids in high school?" Canseco said in the book, the Daily News reported. "I think probably so. I worked out with him when he was 18. He could lift almost as much as I could."
>Rodriguez put on 25 pounds of muscle between his sophomore and junior years. Former high school teammates told Roberts that A-Rod was using steroids back then and his coach knew it -- an allegation the coach, Rich Hoffman, denied.
>On Patrick's radio interview, Roberts said that based on the sudden improvement in his bench press (from 100 to 310) in just six months in high school, and "in conjunction with the reporting that I did with [his high school] teammates would make it irrefutable to me, not a 'may have,' " that Rodriguez took performance-enhancing drugs in high school.
If you listen to podcasts there's a really interesting one called The Eephus. They do baseball history and it's quite entertaining. They have an episode on the DH.
Edit: https://www.podomatic.com/podcasts/eephus/episodes/2015-06-24T03_00_00-07_00 And they are on iTunes. I listen to them on the PocketCasts app.
I use ExpressVPN. There are a few ways to set it up but all are pretty easy. I have it for a few things. It's a good idea to use a VPN for anything private. It's also nice to watch The Office on Netflix.
I just bought a Ichiro jerysey from Amazon as a birthday gift for a Japanese baseball fan. However, to my surprise, the shirt says "Suzuki" on the back instead of "Ichiro". I understand his full name is Ichiro Suzuki, but every single image I can find online of his jerseys has the Ichiro name. Am I missing something, or is this an obvious fake?
https://www.amazon.com/Outerstuff-Seattle-Mariners-Ichiro-Replica/dp/B07DVCN1NT
(The Amazon listing shows Ichiro, but the jersey I received says Suzuki.)
I use /r/LazyMan or /r/MLBStreams . If you have an iOS device, there is an iOS app of LazyMan that you can sideload onto your device. But you'll have to re-sideload it every 7 days. Idk if someone has made an Android version or not.
T-Mobile is also giving out free MLB TV subs to all T-Mobile subscribers the next two Tuesdays or you can just straight up pay for it. I think the blackout rules will f with you being able to watch them though. But you can use a VPN like TunnelBear to change your IP address to somewhere outside of WA area and avoid the blackouts.
I’ve got Private Internet Access. There is a phone app and a desktop program. You can select lots of different locations and they tell you the ping time for each so you know how bad lag will be. Only $40/year too.
Local market games will be an issue due to blackputs unless you get a VPN or service like Yonder or Unlocator.
Yes you do have to pay a little bit for a monthly or yearly subscription but it does work. I currently have Unlocator but plan on going to Yonder when my current subscription runs out because it is cheaper.

Awesomely the T-Mobile reward today was a full premium subscription which gives you access to on Xbox, PS4, web browser, iOS, Android, roku, and any other device which they support.
A vpn works to get around the location issues with the website version, but the iOS and Android version verify your location via GPS so it will be blacked out. There are some ways to spoof your location but MLB is good about detecting them. Game consoles would require configuring your router to use the VPN as well.
For VPN there are a few options including the listed ones. I have personally used Private Internet Access for other reasons for the past 3 years with great results but have used via PIA VPN without any issues when I wanted to catch the Mariners games. PIA cost $ per year but you can have up to 5 devices connected at once, and even before the recent legislative changes, a VPN is a good idea in certain situations anyway.
Wave broadband 110 down with 1tb cap = $60/mo = $110/season Unlocator = $50/yr
Total is less than 2 months of an average cable and Internet bundle.
I put unlocator's DNS addresses in my router and am able to watch on my 4th gen Apple TV, Roku 3, PS4, and Xbox 360 depending on where in the house we want to watch. The only thing that won't work with the spoofed DNS is my Amazon Fire tv stick.
If you'd rather not use a free peer-to-peer service like Hola, you can also get a paid VPN service through private servers. my buddy has one which I borrow and it works like a charm with . I think he pays $5/month for it. You could also use a Smart DNS service (like Unlocator) which doesn't route your traffic at all; it just spoofs your location so it looks like you are in a different location but you still connect directly. Supposedly that takes less of a hit on your connection speed, but I haven't had any problems with a VPN either
You have to use their DNS on the router that sources your console. My setup is a netgear cable modem with wifi. DNS addresses from Unlocator went into it and then everything downstream is covered.
My ps4 is plugged into the modem and my roku is off the wifi. Both work beautifully with no issues. I just like the MLB app on the ps4 better. Better UI and more options for jumping to innings and audio/video feeds.
To piggyback on anyone know an easy way to watch on your Xbox One (app) using a VPN? Like is there an app for the Xbone that will change my IP location? I have Private Internet Access as a VPN. I know there's a way to do it through my router and whatnot but I'm too stupid to make that work.
Edit - looks like the options are network sharing and running an ethernet cable from my Xbone to my PC or setting up two routers simultaneously, and working that shit out. Meh, HDMI cable it is.
I run Unotelly SmartDNS, which is similar I believe to Unlocator. It works on my AppleTV just fine. I'm in Texas, so with the Astros moving to the division along with the already present Rangers, it became a must for me.
Re Multiple devices: I've run on multiple devices at home, no problem. I also share my log in with another friend in town, and we have not run into issues. YMMV
Try getting FoxyProxy for Chrome and using a Seattle-based proxy.
Here's one:
IP: 207.46.146.62 Port: 8080 Protocol: HTTPS
Edit: Proxy SwitchySharp looks a little bit easier to use.
Edit #2: Just tried it with Proxy SwitchySharp, was able to get whatismyip to tell me I'm in Seattle under the IP listed above.
What food would you most like to see added to concessions next season? I just discovered we now have vegan stadium style hot dogs. Let's make this happen, T-Mobile!
Can someone help me re-create the Swelmet for my brother's 40th birthday? We grew up in Seattle and moved away in 2002. We went to the glory days of Randy Johnson, Edgar, Griffey, A Rod, etc. and would love to make this helmet for him.
Then make it look like this: https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Ftwitter.com%2Fsearch%3Fq%3D%2523SWELMET%26f%3Dimage&psig=AOvVaw1l8vHo-8ZSThzTZJNy5Ta3&ust=1664981057873000&source=images&cd=vfe&ved=0CAsQjRxqFwoTCMCAxPXnxvoCFQAAAAAdAAAAABAM
I am not artistically inclined. Thanks for your help!
Lots of good suggestions here! To prep for next year, T-Mobile gives away MLBtv for free at the start of the season in April. Find a friend who will let you have their free account, or you can buy it off someone for a few bucks on a certain Slick Deal website. Next, buy a VPN service like Windscribe or NordVPN and set it up on your device.
You could even go as far as buying a small travel router for <$20 and set up your VPN on it. Any device that connects to it is automatically put on the VPN too.
How about a radio? https://www.amazon.com/Sony-ICF-P27-Portable-Radio-Speaker/dp/B09QBZSYTS/ref=asc_df_B09QBZSYTS/ for something cheap and https://www.amazon.com/EBL-Individual-Battery-Rechargeable-Batteries/dp/B00XBPI1SY/ref=mp_s_a_1_18 for batteries
A VPN is short for virtual private network. Basically you can subscribe to one (my recommendation is ProtonVPN) and when connected to it, your device’s IP address will appear to be in a location of your choosing. Without one, MLB TV can see your location is in Seattle and will not let you watch Mariners games. If you choose a location of New Jersey for example, you will be able to watch.
A VPN is a “Virtual Private Network”. Essentially, you are using that to make the Internet think you’re in a different location. You would use this to get around the local blackout laws for . You cannot use in Seattle to watch Mariners games, but you can use in Oklahoma to watch Mariners games.
There are many VPNs out there and all of them cost a little bit of money to use. A simple [google search]( ;client=safari&hl=en-us&sxsrf=ALiCzsZmN55BzOdZz1H2Mybpoq3BPGdHhg%3A1657408380749&ei=fAvKYpKoLby50PEP4tCYkAY&oq=best+vpn&gs_lcp=ChNtb2JpbGUtZ3dzLXdpei1zZXJwEAEYADIKCAAQsQMQgwEQQzIECAAQQzIECAAQQzIECAAQQzIECAAQQzINCAAQgAQQhwIQsQMQFDIHCAAQsQMQQzIECAAQQzoHCAAQRxCwAzoHCAAQsAMQQzoHCCMQ6gIQJzoHCC4Q6gIQJzoECCMQJzoKCC4QxwEQrwEQJzoFCAAQkQI6EQguEIAEELEDEIMBEMcBEKMCOgsILhCABBCxAxCDAToLCAAQgAQQsQMQgwE6BwgAEIAEEAo6BQgAEIAEOgcIABCxAxAKSgQIQRgAUPQLWPcfYJQmaAVwAXgAgAG1AYgBiwiSAQM1LjWYAQCgAQGwAQ_IARHAAQE&sclient=mobile-gws-wiz-serp) will tell you which are good. I use Windscribe but I don’t use it for mariners games (🏴☠️) but I’ve heard good things about ExpressVPN.
Toms guide has a good explanation.
As I recall, that guy used Nord. NordVPN in particular caved to multiple governments years ago, and gives your information to any company or government who wants it. They became a corporate/state surveillance tool, not a bastion of privacy as they claimed. Nobody should use Nord under any circumstances whatsoever. They're not the only shady VPN out there, but are by far the least trustworthy.
You should feel old for not just googling this stuff, it's dead easy to find answers to these questions in better places than a Seattle Mariners subreddit.
Here's a setup guide for popular VPN called TunnelBear. It's a 90 second video and the first 60 seconds is an advertisement. So about ~30 to setup the VPN.
Any popular VPN is going to be pretty much the same experience. Do not take this as a recommendation for tunnelbear btw. That was just a good video to show you how easy VPN's are these days. Go to if you wanna dig for good suggestions.
Welcome aboard!
If you want to smell like Felix, this is his cologne
I think there should be.
Says there's a scheduled radio broadcast for this game. I don't think it requires milb subscription as far as I know.
What happens in a four way tie? Three different one-game playoffs? And what if we get a three way tie?
the way this weater radar looks, it looks like a 2hr delay potentially. I think they still play it. have a look for yourself
This link should take you to the instructions: https://unlocator.com/account/beta
If that still doesn't work, I can just tell you how to do it. Use the same steps as before, but replace both the primary DNS and secondary DNS with 209.177.145.30. That is the beta server. Netflix will work on it.
You don't need a full VPN you can just use an IP spoofer to make it think you are where else. I've heard good things about https://unlocator.com and I can't imagine it takes too much tech savvy ness to use.
Just did the
Their server looks to be in Dallas? Either way it's far enough to get out the Mariners blackout area.
Have you tried Yonder or Unlocator to work with MLBTV?
Yes you do have to pay a little bit for a monthly or yearly subscription but it does work. I currently have Unlocator but plan on going to Yonder when my current subscription runs out.
It basically routes IP traffic to make it appear like it is not originating from a certain area. It does require a little bit of setup on your router. There are tutorials on the sites that are helpful in walking you through the steps.
A VPN service will basically do the same thing.

No. Just Unlocater. My year subscription runs out at the end of the month. I put Yonder because it is a but cheaper than Locator and plan to use it next. Locator requires some setup on your router. At at the FAQ and help files on the Locator website for information on how to set up your router. I believe Yonder has a free trial period as well.
Edit - Also, when you login to the Unlocator site, ensure that all three boxes under Status are checked Green. Hopefully this helps.
This will be my first time using Premium as well as the VPN. I talked to several guys on MLB reddit and they are certain the VPN will work because they use it themselves. They recommended me the Zenmate extension off of Chrome.
I mean I have T-Mobile myself, so when I get access to premium sometime the next few weeks or so, I'll give it a try and let you know, so that you don't have to purchase it (If you don't have t mobile).
Reddit seems to recommend Private Internet Access, but there's loads to choose from.
Check out /r/VPN and /r/vpncoupons to try some out for free or find some deals. I haven't been successful in finding a reliable stream, so I hope you find a good VPN soon :)
Private Internet Access seems to be the most popular VPN I've seen people use for various reasons. I actually used it for a bit during the last winter olympics to view the BBC feeds. Worked well for me. I wouldn't use stuff like ZenMate.
2 dogs, cat, 2 kids, every bit of floor space already occupied by full bookshelves. I don't know what to do about this. I thought about getting one of those mini-greenhouses with LED lighting and temperature controls and just sticking it in a closet. Y'know, the kind that's like 18"x6"x24" or something.
A smaller version of this maybe? Any recommendations?
Between the time that I asked about Surge and just refreshed the page the stock on here went from 7 to 0. I'm a little bit sad.
If you like those, you'll like Kalu (Curl). You can get them at any Daiso around town and Uwajimaya and H Mart as well.
That's 125 and change sticks of that for $1000, that's a bit less than a stick a game.
This may be one of my favorite CD's that I have ever purchased... I highly suggest that you all pick it up as well. Baseball with Dave any day of the week.
Essential Games of the Seattle Mariners DVD Set has the radio broadcast as an alternate audio track. It's the only way to watch.
I highly recommend you read this book called Shipwrecked.
It will give you some more information about how insane it was to initially hire Howard Lincoln and Chuck Armstrong to run a baseball team.

Dude, what he's saying is based off real data. Read this:

Cano is best slotted as a #2 hitter. The data really affirms this.
^That's ^why ^I'm ^here, ^I ^don't ^judge ^you. ^PM ^/u/xl0 ^if ^I'm ^causing ^any ^trouble. ^WUT?

I absolutely LOVED Takes from the Seattle Mariners Dugout.
