There is this tequila that has almost the same design:
https://www.amazon.com.mx/La-Cofradia-TALAVERA-REPOSADO/dp/B085SZB4WD
Also, I guess there are a lot of pieces very similar that are not tequila, but that was the most easiest way to get it other than going to La Ciudadela in CDMX, I don't even live in CDMX.
Most chargers can handle different voltages (110-230V) and different frequencies (hertz 40-60Hz). If this is the case you will only need a plug adapter.
If not, you will be probably better off buying the device here in México (pe hair dryers).
Get a travel currency card/account, such as Wise. You can get an USD account from them and transfer money to it as you would do to any other USD accounts. They have really good exchange rates so you can skip the conversation at ATM as others have suggested.
"Amores de Segunda Mano" by Enrique Serna (1994)
Collection of several tales that skillfully capture human nature and Mexican culture in a modern/urban context. Fast-paced and riveting.
you can look for "Adios a Dylan" this novel take place between Mexico City and NY, I don't know if there is an english edition
Also you can look for "los detectives salvajes" (the savage detectives) by Roberto Bolano, i'am pretty sure this novel has an english edition and it's a fucking great novel

Not very popular between English speakers, but it definitely fills your request.

We have experienced the same thing here. It seems most for the events are language exchanges which we are not interested in. There are a few expats CDMX groups on facebook. If you are not in them let me know. One new expat recently has had two meetup events to go drinking/clubbing.
We are similar to you in that we work from home but have most of the weekdays and weekends free to explore. Like you, I used to do copywriting proofing. Now we work remotely as ESL teachers and I also do some transcribing work. We like to hike and hit up galleries/museums.
I find in CDMX and other places in Latin America it is hard to make friends especially expats, I don't know why. If you have some days free, you're welcome to join us. My gf is mid 30's and I am mid 40's though.

Once you learn enough Spanish I think making friends with locals here is much easier. There are also groups on Meetup.com and a number of language exchange events in the city.
Justo hoy voy a ir a jugar. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.sport12
In my opinion, some of his most impressive works are at Torre de la Rectoría at UNAM Ciudad Universitaria in Coyoacán. The twelve-story Rectory Tower has three prominent outdoor murals created by Siqueiros between 1952-1956.
On the north facade is Las fechas de la historia de México (The Dates of the History of Mexico). This painted bas relief is a giant hand, holding a pencil symbolizing knowledge. The hand points to four dates vital to the formation of the Mexican Republic.
Nuevo emblema universitario (New University Emblem) faces east. This pop-out painted mural sits between the third and fourth floors. It shows a Mexican eagle and an Andean condor, the two official birds of the UNAM crest.
To the south is El pueblo a la Universidad, la Universidad al pueblo. Por una cultura nacional neohumanista de profundidad universal (The People to the University, the University to the People. For a National Neohumanist Culture of Universal Depth). This opaque glass tile bas relief mosaic depicts five students carrying objects representing knowledge acquired through study.
If you want to learn more about touring the UNAM campus (which is filled with amazing architecture and monumental public art), please see my new book:
I always get these ones for my coworkers when I go to the USA, you can’t find them here. Also, Sweet tarts and Twizzlers.
It depends on how are your migration status, you could open a bank account here in Mexico and later transfer your money to UK. Looking around HSBC bank offers international transfers. If you sell your car you could ask the buyer to make that international transfer. I think many banks could do that.
Personally I use PayPal to purchase in USA and recently use WISE money app to buy something from Ukraine. But for both app I have to register a bank account/card to use the service.
I hope this helps
A little late in my response but you can even buy barro Oaxaca in Amazon: https://www.amazon.com.mx/Barro-Oaxaca-Para-Modelar-1kg/dp/B09BPP4MV3/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=1EG0VF2C7ZO4P&keywords=barro+oaxaca&qid=1646677268&sprefix=barro+o%2Caps%2C198&sr=8-1
I agree, that brand makes the best sauces. Spicy as hell but very tasty. My personal favorite is Salsa Mayakut. You have to look around but some chains carry it. https://www.amazon.com/-/es/dp/B004MXY70K
https://www.amazon.com/-/es/1500-mariquitas-vivas-garantiza-llegan/dp/B00YF8NAKA
Existen muchas opciones el línea, pero primero te recomiendo que busques una cepa específica para tus condiciones de temperatura y el tipo de plaga.
I don't konw that if it can help you, Actually i always buy N95 mask on amazon. The amazon transport was good it usually been delivered next day. I usually to buy3M conpany N95 mask, which Model Number :9010 ,i think that was great and the mask was made in USA,i can believe the quality. you can buy it on amazon so you can unnecessary to go out side to buy the mask. I stayed at an amazing Airbnb by the anthropology museum. The host was incredibly amazing. I looked at others in the roma/condesa area and they all had great reviews. The space in this particular one i chose was amazing! here you go:
I see that you picked a place. I also stayed in an airbnb in Condesa and I stayed here: here
I highly recommend it, and the hosts are extremely nice, speak english and help you with whatever you need. The room is upstairs away from everyone and you have your own little balcony (not much of a view). The place you chose looks beautiful as well. I can personally recommend this airbnb though. Have fun! You'll love the city!
yep. there's two volumes, this is the link for the first one...not quite sure which one cover 40's decade tho.

airbnb seems to be located in town, i believe towards avandaro. And no big deal on the vessel, i'm not too worried about going on the water. I was thinking a yamah style boat or older sea doo. Again, no big deal, i'll probably do the ferry. I feel like i'm pressed for time so not trying to bite more than i can chew. This is the airbnb:
I just bought a mobile phone at Amazon.com.mx from a seller in the US, no problem with customs or any additional fees https://www.amazon.com.mx/dp/B096YD4JQ6/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_E74XJJXKDABB8H7KRMKY?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
I'd recommend a currency / travel card. There's a multi currency card form a company called Wise which is good if you can get it. https://wise.com/
I use it often when I don't want to risk using my main debit card. I spent 6 months in Mexico City and it worked like a treat. Just a case of transfering money onto it and converting into pesos. You then just use it like a regular debit card.
Entre Barrios on AirBnB: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/1601521 It's $47 per night, split with two people so it wasn't bad. It's a really nice little hipster joint. It's not hostel-style in that you share a room with someone, but some rooms do have shared bathrooms.
you can also get a bank account that covers foreign exchange fees. If you plan on traveling a lot it will be the best option in the long run https://www.schwab.com/public/schwab/banking_lending/checking_account
Also consider renting an apartment or house on Airbnb. That's what we do most of the time. I can recommend the places that Francisco and his partner Rodolfo have on Tokio street—in the zone and close to the bars.
I travel with something like this and have used it without issues traveling to Asia, UK, and multiple other parts of Europe. Has a built-in surge protector too (which I haven’t had to put to the test). As long as your devices aren’t outside the normal range for this adapter (which they shouldn’t be) then you shouldn’t have an issue.
Invierte en un Kryptonite, cada cadena o candado dice para qué sirve y su nivel de seguridad.
I recommend "First Stop In The New World," by David Lida. An American writer who moved to Mexico City more than 20 years ago, Lida captures the essence of the mega city from the perspective of a once-outsider who now calls CDMX home. His affection for the place is evident on every page. An excellent book.

There are many sites like OLX etc... But there is a new app called "My Circle". I totally recommend it. It is becoming popoular nowadays in New Mexico. It is totally free and anonymous. You can see and publish postings in your neighborhood.
