I don't know, although I also run a paper 1.15.2 server and 8I use this plugin https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/dupe-fixes-illegal-stack-remover It's called illegal stack remover and it patches a couple of dupes and fixes stacked items. It's pretty reputable in fact it's partnered with spartan anticheat.
Hello community,
I recently launched a word puzzle game. I hope you can give it a try.
FYI: currently only available in US
Thanks.
While this type networking is not my specialty... I used to be a networking engineer.
I looked into this a bit further and it seems cellular companies often use multiple layers of NAT/PAT. The only way to make this work is with a VPN. StrongVPN and OpenVPN seem to be the most suggested. VPN created a tunnel to route your traffic through. Think of it as a straw through the internet that allows your traffic to go from point to point without being touched or manipulated.
You can test if you need a VPN or not by using a port checking site like the one hosted on portchecker.co. This will tell you if the port you setup in your port forwarding steps is open to the outside world or not. If it's not then you will most likely need the VPN.
Theres an app for your phone called Bedrock Together that lets you use your phone to connect to the server if they are on the same wifi.

iOS: https://apps.apple.com/app/bedrocktogether/id1534593376
Well it’s usually by how many plugins you have aswell. I’d recommend going with a host where you can easily upgrade RAM and then just monitoring how much RAM your server is using with plugins such as spark and upgrading where necessary.
FYI, this is the gun mod I’m planning on using https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/quality-armory.47561/ And this is the group mod I’m planning in using https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/clans-clan-system-1-7-1-16.22304/ (I’ll disable the base teleport in config.
I'm referring to things such as what is mentioned in this guide: https://www.spigotmc.org/threads/guide-server-optimization%E2%9A%A1.283181/ As long as you have a couple cores and enough ram the vm should be fine. Sorry for taking a while to get back to you.
try papermc or spigot. With that you could make it more optimized, but if you want it to be better there's this guide https://www.spigotmc.org/threads/guide-server-optimization%E2%9A%A1.283181/ . If you dont mind decrasing the border size, you should do it.
Hey! We are currently working on building a spigot 16.5 server with SMP and some other fun things - would love to have you join! We have only been live for about a week so there is plenty of room to explore and grow ^_^
Can join our Guilded Server For all the connection information, super chill community to talk and hangout with
Hey! We are currently actively developing a new Spigot 16.5 server with some fun mod/plugins for bedrock and JAVA versions :) would love to have players to help make it better
Can join our guilded server https://www.guilded.gg/r/zzWlovO50R?i=nm6el73d
And get all the connection information! We hope to get it all ironed out by the end of next week!
Fellow server owner, if you just want to reduce lag plugins won't do that, you'll need to reduce the amount of resources that you are asking from the server.
Use this guide to reduce the requests on your server.
One of the few plugins that might help (even tho it does use server resources) would be "Clearlaggg" or something similar. It is a simple plunging that removes ground items periodically, freeing server resources to process more important tasks.
Hope this helps :)
What’s you dashboard for prohosting look like? There’s probably some screen for plugins.
I’ve never used a hosting service so i don’t know how it works exactly
Edit: a quick google search shows they support plugins and mods, if you attached a screenshot of your dashboard, I might be able to help a little
For staff stuff get staff+ https://www.spigotmc.org/resources/staff-the-ultimate-moderation-plugin-1-7-1-15.41500/reviews
There are quite a lot of plugins you should get but these are the basics: - EssentialsX - Worldedit - Worldguard - Multiverse-Core - A kitpvp plugin if you don't want to use essentials kits.
If you have any questions you can ask me on discord britishtable#7436
In my experience, the lag plugins don't really help much.
Have you tried paper? It runs the same plugins as spigot/bukkit but is much faster for my servers.
Also, read this and try the suggestions. It helped me alot as well

View distance is way up there. That's a lot of rendering. Mine is set to 8-6 and I barely notice it, I can see things way off in the distance.
Here is a great article that helped me when I started

if the port isn't opened on the server side, it won't make a different if op is putting server port after the ip.
so server owner has to port forward, there's playit.gg that makes a tunnel, and makes it a ton easier to make a server public. without port forwardering
hey i dont know if you would reply to this but i want to make a server for me and my friends, however, i do not want to have my IP address for them to see, does playit.gg do that? If i ever got hacked i dont really have anything important on my computer, however i dont want that to happen 😭, could you maybe reassure me that its safe to use for me and my friends?
I created https://playit.gg so people can easily make their servers public. Otherwise the other option would be to port forward. You'll need access to your router and your ISP needs to support it (most in the USA do).
I've been working on a tool called playit.gg. It tunnels your connection so you don't need to port forward. It's free, but if you'd like to support the project we do sell custom domains :). Anyways, feel free to reach out on our Discord or send me a DM. Happy to help you get setup for free.
If you trust everyone you're giving your IP to you should be fine. The main risk is that they could DoS you, preventing you from using the internet.
I've been working on a tunneling tool that hides your IP. It's basically like a VPN but for hosting game servers. If you'd like to give it a try, here's the project: https://playit.gg, feel free to reach out over Discord or send me a DM.
It sounds like port forwarding isn't properly setup or your ISP doesn't support it. I've been working on a tunneling tool that should work. If you want to give it a try, here's the homepage: https://playit.gg feel free to reach out over the Discord or send me a DM.
I've been working on a tunneling tool exactly for this reason. If you want to give it a try: https://playit.gg .
The tool connects to a public server and routes the connects to your local computer. Feel fee to reach out over the Discord or send me a DM.
Most of the time, your IP changes with a modem reboot. If not, you can ask your ISP to do that for you.
Also - Just so you know, Honestly, your IP is being hammered all the time by random internet scanners - even totally legit scanners like shodan (https://www.shodan.io/). It does allow someone to target you more specifically if they know your ip though. The only real safe thing to do is buy a server in the cloud or buy a static IP from your ISP and setup a DMZ to just your server. If these concepts are foreign to you, do some googling on them.
I have a block of 5 IPs. One IP is my "public" one, and one of the others is what my house uses. I have a DMZ setup, and using vlans I route traffic as needed. I'm most likely going over your head...sorry I could talk about this for days.
So, apparently the link for RC1 didn't update on the site. This has been corrected.
You can download RC1 here - https://craftycontrol.com/crafty-releases/ (link has been fixed)
Several updates for this week.
A few more bug squashes happened:
Snapshot 2019W47 is on track
This snapshot will also be a "beta" release - so Beta 2. It's a great time to test out crafty if you haven't!
When you get the hang of things, and perhaps get a second/dedicated computer. You can then use something like https://craftycontrol.com to run and monitor your server.
Shameless plug, I'm the creator of that software
If you haven't tried self-hosting, I'd definitely recommend giving that a shot. There are tons of great tutorials online that'll help you get started.
If you do plan on going that route, you'll want to use PaperMC server software to get the best performance out of your setup.
Single threaded performance is most important. If your going for performance, use Paper instead. Its just as if not more stable, performs way better, and is compatable with all spigot plugins.
So the easiest way is a proxy server. There's an android app that can do it or you could use phanton proxy (I've put it on extra pcs laptops but I can run on Linux, mac, or raspbarry pi as well. I made a batch file with the command to start it for ease of use. Proxy must be on the same lan as the console and it will show up in friends tab as a lan game
Phantom: https://github.com/jhead/phantom/releases
App: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.luzenna.mineproxydroidtrial
Not sure if the app has an apple version
You can use a proxy server to connect to external servers. I have a server I Java that allows bedrock to join but its not ready yet.
For android:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.luzenna.mineproxydroidtrial
Make sure both are connected to the same wifi.. Start minecraft on console. Enter in and port on app then hit start. The server should shoul up under friends tab.
You could download an app if you have an android.(not sure about apple) This allows for consoles to connect to remote bedrock servers or Java servers with a bedrock proxy. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.luzenna.mineproxydroidtrial
