This link will show you all the network bands the Moto G6 supports, and you can go to frequencycheck to find out what bands her carrier uses and see how compatible they are. For reference, the frequencycheck link links to a random carrier I picked from Brazil, which when compared to the GSMArena link, shows that the Moto G6 has all of the requisite network bands.
edit: I completely missed that last part where you said there's a Claro logo, edited the link to show bands that Claro uses in Brazil.
Thought it was just me, being my first android phone I figured I was doing something wrong..
trying NoLed out at the moment, needs lots of permissions but it has not network capability so not likely to be spying on me.

It worked ok then I installed this one too https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.trendy.frontflashnotification
Uninstalled the first one as I am just trialling them to see which I prefer. It says front but it's working fine with the camera flash led, I think I prefer this one so far, just need to remember to put the phone down upside down or in a dock when I get one, or 3d print a stand.
I'm in similar boat as you. One thing to note is the G5+ has a slightly faster clock speed of 2.0GHz as compared to the G6 with only 1.80GHz speed. I may just wait it out for the G6+ that might come out eventually.
