dont turn gain past 20. worked on note 8 and 9. Is dolby atmos on. is system sound level turned to max yet.
This is what you need, I put it at 40% and I can keep the tv at it's normal volume, no more cranking to 100 and still not hearing.
Make sure you lower the volume before you use it, and test what setting you'd like. Keep the shortcut on your homescreen you'll have to reopen it occasionally to kick it back on.

I installed Speaker Boost to increase my speaker volume and this increased clarity as well.

This app also boosts speaker volume for phone calls too.
The best part about it is that this app doesn't need any permissions and is completely free. I liked it so much, I paid 99cents for the app even though the paid one is the same as the free one.
I use the standard headset it came with my LG Volt. I just had to install speaker boost (Which damages your headphones so I just use on 8-15% tops) to boost the volume, because wind makes it hard to hear. But it does the job nicely, but it's not perfect
I installed SpeakerBoost and it definitely did help boost volume to the speakers - too much for my liking in fact.
Didn't try it with headphones though, not sure what it would be like there.
I didn't tried it, but this may help. In the description they say it can be used for voice calls. It doesn't require root. But be careful.

This worked on my S7. I was able to increase the volume by 5% without distortion. You have the same speaker. Don't try past that.
everyone download this and thank me later, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.omegacentauri.SpeakerBoost&hl=en
or continue to worry. just try it.
I've been using this:

Better to use the version 2.2 because it's without ads
The 6p has known audio issues. My volume @ max is comparable to 60% volume on my LG G5. Just today I tried another volume boosting app from the play store. Speakerboost I gave it a 30% boost and now I can listen to tunes while riding the subway. Only issue I have so far is not knowing how to shut it off. I so far have been disabling it thru phone settings. Edit: I contacted the developer, he says to reduce the boost to 0%to shut off the app. :)
I have same issue with low volume at 100%, Ive been using this app to boost the output, set main at 90% and boost to around 20% and you can actually listen to things without being distracted by the Gyms own music.

Just download speaker boost .. and increase volume 5 to 10% your choice .. after turning on mic in game !! https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.omegacentauri.SpeakerBoost
Use speakerboost ,but don't exceed more than 15%

(off topic): I've used Speaker Boost for years. Does exactly what it claims to do. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.omegacentauri.SpeakerBoost&hl=en_US
NO, but I Have a sure shot free app that keeps it louder no matter what, on my s8, note 8 and note 9.
In the USA too. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=mobi.omegacentauri.SpeakerBoost&hl=en
if you use it, be sure not to go over 20 pct speaker boost, on the toolbar setting. http://imgur.com/a/TbhFPY7
If you need louder audio, try this app. Works great, no ads.
On all my other phones I used speakerboost, but it doesn't work on the S7 :(

Donating removes ads if present. Can't knock it until you try it and see it works. Hint....need to restart and wait 20 seconds for it to load. Then after setting it up and restarting referring to https://techshali.com/boost-speaker-volume-galaxy-note-9/ you can hear in sounds that audios are much better
Please don't be rude and downvote as I Am trying to share proven audio. This reddit is the only forum that people does that. Can anyone respect someone's efforts.
