I'm not 100% the following quote applies, but it seems like it works. USL had a chance to absorb NASL and be done with it, but they decided their best course of action was to try for a killing blow and then plunder the battlefield at their leisure.
"When you surround the enemy Always allow them an escape route. They must see that there is An alternative to death." —Sun Tzu, The Art of War
IF there is a SF team, the ownership will have to deal with stark demographic issues and reality specific to San Francisco city/county (see links). Obviously, any marketing efforts includes priming the kiddies to grow up with the game and team, and that is where there is a huge problem going forward unique to "The City". Going to be tough road.

BY ALL ACCOUNTS, THE ONLY RAILHAWKS IN EXISTENCE ARE THE ONES ON THE PITCH. IT'S A SHAME THAT WHEN WE BEAT THEM 13-1 TONIGHT THEY WILL ALL DIE OF EMBARRASSMENT AND THE SPECIES WILL BE EXTINCT. I IMAGINE ANY UNUSED SUBS OR RESERVES WOULD DIE OF GRIEF
Yeah, maybe they still have a registered agent or something at that Miami address?
That Brickell Key Drive location is like 10-15 minutes away from CONCACAF's offices in Miami, FWIW.
EDIT: So, I just looked at it and "Director of Business Development & Legal Affairs," Rishi Sehgal appears to be based in Miami still. https://www.linkedin.com/pub/rishi-sehgal/2/3a1/32b That would explain why they use the Miami address on trademark registrations, since he's their top Legal guy. As for the office space proximity to Traffic -- well, that looks bad, but I mean Traffic DID basically set the league up, so it's not surprising they would get office space down the hall from themselves, right?
Worst we have to offer? I volunteer the Villager Lodge hotel just off the Riverwalk. My favorite review of a hotel I've ever seen is the 2nd one on this website. The title is "Can you say Hooker Hotel?"
EDIT: That should give us the 1st pick. Just saying.
OMG check out the guy suing linkedin page.
His 'selection as the preferred vendor and the subsequent issuance of a request for qualification' is as good as the paper it is written on.

I've take to using Forza Football on my Android devices to get NASL updates. It's not quite real time, but close enough while you're at the game and want to keep tabs on the rest of the league:
