I bought this and it works pretty good a lil pricier than others but the magnets on it are strong and attach to the bottom of the one x and it allows for you to use the stylus hovering above objects without touching the screen to avoid nics and scratches.
I personally use Portable Charger 30000mah, Baseus... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08JV4W4NY?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
And USB C Charger, Baseus 65W 3 Port... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B083J229RJ?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
They both work awsome
Happy with mine so far, haven't played games in a pretty long time and this just makes it so much easier. Haven't played anything really recent, GTAV, Kingdoms of Amalur, RPCS3 for Oblivion (running great so far but only been playing that for a couple hours). No issues (knock on wood). Official case is pretty snug, seems to push in the bottom two trigger buttons when placed inside. I'll probably only use https://www.amazon.com/CASEMATIX-Keyboard-Compatible-Huntsman-Snowfox/dp/B08FMW4WJJ for the OXP. Original case fits perfect with the oxp inside that and keyboard, probably get some thin memory foam to make the oxp a little more snug on its own.

I wanted more storage space without it getting bulky like with an external HDD so I picked up a 512 GB Sandisk Ultrafit:
And a 513 GB MicrsSD card:
Between the two, that doubles my drive space with barely adding any more physical room to the device.
I have a laptop and a Surface Duo that I connect to a monitor with a USB C Dock, I will be using that with my OXP, a single cable to plug in and its good to go.
I may rethink my setup as may use it as docked PC gaming setuo with a thunderbolt egpu once gpu' drop a bit
That USB drive is pretty slow I got this one and it has over 3x the speed and cheaper to boot

just get 2 for the same amount of storage, glad I got the super early bird price with keyboard :)
Given how easy it is to get hold of large usb storage these days, and that they can be pretty low profile, I intend to use a 512gb usb that will likely be almost permanently in the device.
afaik, usb3 is faster than sd cards.
Using this as an extra and it's working great: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B7X3WGD3?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
Pretty cheap
Something like this. Those micro ones I wouldn't trust as they don't have any kind of compassiontors to keep a constant steady 20 volt flow so when your car goes into overdrive or when you turn on your engine it can cause way too much power to go through and could damage your device.
Something like this would work. https://www.amazon.com/Lenovo-65W-USB-C-DC-Adapterr/dp/B079TM49YN/ref=mp_s_a_1_13?crid=254XY8LIP1IB8&keywords=65+watt+usb+c+car+charger+laptop&qid=1669677954&sprefix=65+watt+usb+c+car%2Caps%2C150&sr=8-13&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos....
I will explained what happened with me.
My 5800u stop charging too. I changed the charger but still not working. I plugged and still showing a annoying warning every second "Conected / Unconnected".
I tested with 2 wall charges that I use to charge my macbook air and ipad and cellphone. Some chargers have 100w limits.
I grabbed the original wall plug and see all specs and search at amazon same specs charger. 1 single connection.
and! My 5800u comeback from the death valley....
I think inside of some wall charger have a controllers that doesn't work well with Onexplayer.

I replaced the stock thermal paste with Thermal Grizzly and later added raspberry pi heatsinks. Playing games like GOW or FF7 Remake at 800p with low to medium settings my system only get 63C. I can even set the fans on night mode and it still doesn’t go pass 63C.
Not to be a dick but I did the same with skull and co grips
If you still haven’t found a power bank this one is amazing. It will charge the oxp completely 1.3 times by my measure and you can play while it charges. Best part is that it’s not too expensive.
This is the 20,000mah if you have Amazon prime and apply the coupon it's 42 bucks. https://www.amazon.com/Portable-Charger-Baseus-20000mAh-Charging/dp/B08THCNNCS/ref=mp_s_a_1_7_sspa?crid=3LCMXC29UI6Y3&hasWorkingJavascript=1&keywords=asus+65w&qid=1654879568&sprefix=bausus+65w%2Caps%2C154&sr=8-7-spons&psc=1...
This one is the 30,000mah while I highly prefer the 30k over the 20 it's build quality isn't as good and have had to replace one of them after letting it completely die. And with coupon it's like 60$. The 2 20k batteries I bought from eBay. Paid 20 with shipping for one and 25 for the other one. But eBay isn't as easy as posting a link and getting it in a few days.
You don't need 20v on USB-C to charge the OneXPlayer.
I'm sorry I can't be more specific when it comes to batteries, but I charge mine using this Belkin 12v car adaptor - it's only 15W, and it's not 20v. It doesn't charge quickly, and basically only keeps the battery at the same percentage during play, but it works.
My advice is to find some other USB-C power banks you can try it with.

Well, I bought it as a super-early bird, so it was only USD 825$ back then, which is still very competitive with equivalent NUCs (see this one for example). I know the price has inflated for new buyers since.

I have also tested the original Surface and slim pens. Both work.
I have a 512 SanDisk formatted to NTFS and have had no issues with Steam, Xbox Gamepass and manually installed games running from it.
FAT32 has a max of 4gb file size so may be that, back it up then try a Format, it may work.

Best way to do this is get an exacto knife and trim the edges just slightly less than the stock dpad size so it doesn't stick in the corners and you will be good to go. Once the tape settles it doesn't move a bit and feels stock.
It's very comfortable, I took it a step further and added some grip tape to the back of it to make it more grippy while holding it.

I charge off this Belkin USB-C car charger - it's not rated for 20v (only 12v, I think) but it charges the OXP and keeps up with the power draw during play.
I also have several of this mode of Charmast power bank and they do not seem to charge it. The purple light on the OXP comes on but, after leaving it for a while, it does not seem to charge.

The charger might be failing. Your phone requires less power to charge it. Where as the OneXPlayer requires more. When I picked up my charge from Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B088FHJLR1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_glt_fabc_dl_V1WJHNCR188Q4B43H2AT?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1.
I noticed that if I have two or more things plugged I to it all at once then it did not send the proper voltage to the OneXPlayer and it would start to blink on and off. And if you look at the battery meter in windows you will see it switching from plugged to unplugged. So I think the charger is going bad being that yours I the factory one. You might need to replace it. Hope that helps out.

Alright! Sorry I'm such a noob. Thank you for all your help, I really appreciate it. How about this?
Could you help me find a cheap solution?
Although the OXP is specified as requiring 20v USB-C, mine is perfectly happy charging with this 12v / 27W USB-C car charger which I'm certain does not provide 20v - it is described as "Supports 5 volt / 9 volt / 12 volt USB-PD profiles".
If you had one of these, not only could you charged your OXP in the car but you could also charge it off the 12v socket of your Poweroak K2 - I would make up an adaptor cable using one of these.
Do not use that. That will not negotiate to 20v that the one x player needs. You need a power delivery compliant signal to get the one x player to recognize it. You can get a DC to usb c Pd adapter that will work
BatPower EM3 90W PD USB C... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01FCWLMOI?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share
The generic answer is no. I wouldn't assume that a random piece of USB-C accepting hardware can just accept a hot 20V, even if it can accept 20V after a power delivery negotiation. It's conceivable that it would work (and if it did polarity would almost certainly matter) but I wouldn't count on it, and I wouldn't even count on it not frying the port or the entire machine.
There certainly exist parts that take 20V DC and output USB PD. Some poking around showed https://www.amazon.com/BiXPower-Type-Power-Converter-Delivery/dp/B07BC5TWJB as an example, which is a full blown USB-C charger that takes in barrel DC as input. That's more complicated than you need -- in particular you're happy fixing source as ~20V -- so there might be simpler options.
Note that the opposite direction -- USB-C from a charger that delivers 20V to a 20V barrel connector output -- is much more common and much simpler. That just requires a PD trigger chip and no active power circuitry.
Note that you can do 5V DC input to 5V USB very easily (for the most part), and that "USB" can be a USB-C port. That's what the simple adapters you can find are intended for.
I'm charging with this 12v / 27W USB-C car charger, so I'm guessing you can get away with 12v as long as it pushes enough amps. That keeps the device at 100% while playing GTA V.
I have some USB-C battery banks which don't seem to work - or, at least, work less well - and I'm guessing they're able to supply fewer amps at 12v.
The only advice I have there is too make sure that the specs say how much wattage each port has dedicated to it. So if you have a 65w brick with 4 ports, it will probably only be capable of 65w total to all 4 ports. Now it may still provide 65w to a single port while only one device is connected but that is where reading the specs and applying the information that I gave you comes in.
For example
This says 100w, but if you are using both usb c ports, one is getting 65w while the other is only getting 30w. If you use all 4 ports at the same time it goes to 45w, 30w, and 7.5w x2.
It actually wouldnt be a bad charger, just know that you wouldnt be able to charge all of your devices at full speed, especially the OXP.
But if it were me, I would carry a sperate charger at least for the OXP and the GPD. The multiport chargers are not always great for highpowered devices. But a 2 or more port chager for the iphone and ipad should cut down at least one brick.
I believe that 20v is the specification, but I'm charging with this and I'm near certain it's not 20v - the page says "supports 5 volt / 9 volt / 12 volt USB-PD profiles", so I'm guessing you can get away with 12v as long as it pushes enough amps.
This charger will charge from zero to full in about 4 hours or seems so far (maybe the games I'm playing are not very taxing) to keep my OXP fully charged whilst I play.

I have 4 of these cheap Charmast 2600 powerbanks which I'll try when mine arrives.
I currently run my MacBook off them, and they deliver enough charge to keep the battery above 90% even during relatively heavy use.
However I suspect the OneXPlayer has higher battery consumption.
There are phones that cost over a thousand of US dollars.
Overall it's a pretty adequate price tag for a device produced probably in moderate quantities, equipped with a high-resolution screen, and an expensive CPU.
Here's a laptop with mostly the same specs https://www.amazon.com/Dell-15-5000-5502-Fingerprint/dp/B08N3J8X2V/ It's $1100.
Oh, and it's not even the most expensive 1165G7-based laptop. Here's a convertible with a 4K screen for $1500 https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-ZenBook-Laptop-Display-Platform/dp/B08H6SCT6Q/
Laptops is what you should be comparing XPlayer with. It's essentially a laptop device in Nintendo Switch format. It's not a portable console.
