Uses mostly the same mix as the 'unmastered' copy thats been online for ages, that apparently Flea leaked long ago himself. Remember reading that somewhere. Except it has the same chorus' for Around the World as the cd version instead of all the scatting found in the leak.

I know you asked for Cali-BTW era songs but you may want to look at some earlier songs off MM, BSSM or earlier albums. I find the louder and funkier songs much more fun to play in a group setting.

Some good ones to play are Fight Like A Brave, Backwoods, Stone Cold Bush, Subway to Venus, Mellowship Slinky, Give it Away, If You Have to Ask and Sikamikanico. Songsterr has tabs that cover all these songs I believe.

The article seems click baity but it actually doesn't stray from what Chad said during the podcast. Chad does say during the podcast that they don't think they sustain the long touring they are doing currently. From the way he's talking, it seems the exhaustion is hitting him too just as much as it has been hitting Flea.

I used CollectorMount which looks really good because they appear to be almost floating. U can use thumbtacks or command strips to hook them up. You can get them on Etsy or Amazon but they are cheaper on Etsy (where I got them)

What boxset is this?: This was a limited edition releaseback in 2006 for the album’s original launch. It was offered on RedHotChiliPeppers.com if you had an official fan membership if I remember correctly. I believe it was re-released some time after for those who weren’t able to get it originally. It contained the album and a dvd which had the behind the scenes making of the Dani California video as well as the band giving commentary on the majority of the tracks.

Where do I get one?: I doubt you’d be able to get hold of one in mint condition for a reasonable price but it seems like secondhand ones vary from $20-50. I would check the likes of eBay, Discogs and Amazon.

Seems the vinyl on Amazon is the 2012 version, which is a different mix to the original and the best one by far.
