The calendar is the single most neglected part on Moodle. The code quite literally hasn't been updated since it was first written.
I don't recall why we turned off calendar exporting (its a site setting) and I keep meaning to look into it.
I'll test it this week when I get a chance and see if I can just enable it.
Edit 3:
I've added this to our bug tracker and will add the feedback collected through the feedback form as it comes in.
Edit 2, the sequel:
If you want to give some feedback, I have created a google docs form you can fill out.
Edit:
I remember at least one of the reasons we disabled it. In order to pull the calendar for your entire profile (and not just a class that has the calendar block showing), we need to have the calendar block enabled on the front page. Unfortunately due to how crummy the calendar code is, this broke the front page for administrators because it would try to load everyone's calendar (because admin is technically enrolled in all 10,000 courses according to the code, which is nonsense). It meant that we couldn't change settings or fix things on the front page if the need arose.
I'm going to talk to the development team to see if there's a workaround. I have a slight feeling that the single sign-on authentication system might also prove to be a problem, but I'm sure we can find a workaround for that.
For anyone reading this comment, how would you prefer to be able to keep track of your upcoming due dates? I can't guarantee anything, but at least I can bring the feedback to the rest of the team. I may hold the keys, but I can't make unilateral decisions to change iLearn.
Park on Winston Drive. Tuesday street sweeping happens at 7:30 to 8, but the other days if you're here before 8AM it's fairly open.
Here. Google maps actually has all our buildings labelled.
I didn't hear about that one. I heard about the one UPD emailed about but it was an uncofirmed report of a gun at Juan Bautista Circle in park merced. Are kids in the marys getting bullied that much already?
Also because I love links, if you're into this type of stuff download citizen so you to can be afraid to go outside in the city.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=sp0n.citizen&hl=en_US https://apps.apple.com/us/app/citizen/id1039889567
Just kidding, but for real its kinda cool to get updates about the crazy shit that happens in the city. Plus the chat is hilarious
Oh, you don't understand - the button itself is a lie:
> ...the Door Close button is there mostly to give passengers the illusion of control. In elevators built since the early '90s. The button is only enabled in emergency situations with a key held by an authority.
I've taken calc I-III and differential eqns./linear algebra and was recommended to be a tutor at CARP. From my experience with helping a friend with business calculus I can tell you it's more difficult than any of the math classes I've taken. Not because of the actual math behind it, the math is actually mind numbingly simple. The problem is that you are not taught the full principles so it makes no sense. I highly recommend going through the videos on khan academy they are very short and will help you understand the basic principles and it will make the class a breeze.
The poster above can't find her name because you didn't spell it right. http://www.ratemyprofessors.com/ShowRatings.jsp?tid=1231895 is her ratemyprofessor. As for her teaching, she'll do anything reasonable to help you succeed and getting through DS412 largely depends on whether or not you put the effort in to pass; I've had her for 412 and other classes and highly recommend her despite what the other commentors on ratemyprofessor say.
While you can crash classes, it does not guarantee a spot in the class. Some teachers will give in on the first day given your senior standing, but others may take weeks of crashing and dedication. Others may even ignore you or even ask you to leave (as has been in my case). Every professor is different, might want to check RateMyProfessors for some info.
And it's good that you messaged the professors with the details of your predicament. They may be sympathetic. But if I were you I'd talk to a close/familiar professor in your department if you can catch them or e-mail them with your predicament. If you studied abroad for an entire year, there's no doubt that they would know of it and completely understand your situation. They can be your gateway to taking classes by using their influence with colleagues to get you a foot in the door.
Best of luck to you!
HTM 110 with James Aday. It's an online class with weekly quizzes and 6-7 textbook writing assignments (IIRC textbook can be found online). The quizzes are easily solved with his iLearn slides and writing assignments are a breeze too. Should take no longer than 1hr to complete each week's activities. Here's his RMP, though none on HTM 110.
I'm in the same boat as you. I signed up for AAS540 with Anantha Sudhakar which seems pretty good. I'll check back here for more recommendations though.
There’s probably a bunch of reasons that’s considered on the administrative end. Seems like it’s mostly price and control. Some staff talking about it. A comparison. It’s an Apple vs Microsoft comparison. One’s set for you and the other is up to you.
Hey! There's plenty of parking on 19th Avenue in front of Hensill Hall. It's relatively safe there since campus security does its rounds and there some traffic to keep would-be auto thieves/burglars thinking twice.
I suggest downloading the SpotAngels app:

It's come in handy a few times for me when looking for parking in SF and around campus 😁
There's actually a lot of seniors taking afternoon film/tech classes that use the 19th/Holloway Muni and they don't use apps. I know this because of the frequency with which they ask younger students including myself for help at that stop. Given the amount we all pay in fees and taxes, we have a right to expect the Muni electronic signage to work. As an aside, this is the best app I know of to track your Muni real time (unlike NextBus): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.neces

Thanks for the support. I'll definitely check out the ethernet connections before hand.
According to this, the ethernet shouldn't have too many issues.
Probably going to get one or two of these and cascade them. They don't emit WiFi, so no problems with that first issue. My knowledge of networking is pretty novice, but I don't foresee too many issues.
