Ignore the other response here. They think you’re trying to add Samsung Pay to the phone itself, what I believe you’re trying to do is get Samsung lay working on your galaxy watch while paired to a non Samsung phone. For that, you need this APK.
You might have to restart the watch and phone a couple of times, but once you install this and try to open it directly from the “install complete” screen, it should force the watch to start downloading Samsung Pay. Hope this helps.
Installing this version from apkmirror fixed the same issue I was having on my Note 8.
I've seen multiple articles in the past week saying how bad Samsung Pay is, and I agree that it's basically pointless now.
However I looked up LoopPay, and it turns out they came out with this little fob thing 3 years ago! Has anyone used it? Does this work still? I wouldn't mind having to use it, since it also seems like a Tile/SmartThings tracker. And it's quite small.
This is the one I ordered. Not the greatest looking thing out there but there aren't many options when it comes to this type of case. It does the job I guess. I also don't use wireless charging so it's not a factor for me.

Smart cards generate a new token (like a 4 digit number, for example) every time you read it using the encrypted data inside the microprocessor in the card. The system (bank or transport agency) uses this token to verify the transaction.
You cannot read an encrypted smart card (chip based or NFC based) and reproduce the tokens like the old magstripe based cards.
However not all NFC based cards are "smart" cards, some just transmit the same data every single time, which means you can replicate them like magstripe cards.
Samsung Pay actually supported replicating magstripe cards to do all sorts of things like unlocking dorm rooms. However I'm not sure if the same functionality is available for NFC. You can use a third party app with a rooted phone to get full access to your phone's NFC antenna and do whatever you want with UNENCRYPTED cards.
Whether your transport card is a simple NFC token or a smart card, depends on your transportation agency. You will likely need root access and it will probably be illegal or raise some eyebrows when you use Samsung Pay at the station.
TfL (London) supports Samsung Pay's NFC credit cards, agencies will need partnerships with Samsung for any legal usage.
use Nice Lock or whatever that gets around the territory restrictions. You primarily need Task changer to fix the SPay thing

UPDATE: added Play Store Link
you can download the app directly from the samsung store / google play store (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.samsung.android.spay) but at launch, as far as I understand, Samsung Pay is a joke. I believe Samsung isn't at fault here but the Swiss Banks appears to be proactively blocking any external form of mobile payment as much as they can with TWINT etc. Currently it only works with (prepaid) credit cards from BONUScard, SWISSBANKERS and CORNERcard, which honestly (not to discredit these "banks", I have not heard of before Samsung Pay was launched.
I’ve had this issue. Try downloading this to get it started. https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsung-electronics-co-ltd/samsung-pay-watch-plug-in/samsung-pay-watch-plug-in-1-7-5906-release/samsung-pay-watch-plug-in-1-7-5906-android-apk-download/
It should let Samsung pay start and then update itself.
Yes you can. I am using a pixel phone and the I can use Samsung pay on my galaxy watch active without any issues. You just need to download this APK in your smartphone. By the way, the samsung pay should already built-in in your wearable devices, you just have to register your card in your smartphone to make it works.
I've been mainly using Top Cash Back or BeFrugal -- Ebates once in a while.
Google Play gift cards should go on sale for Thanksgiving -- Walmart will have the $50 one for $45: https://slickdeals.net/f/12221422-walmart-black-friday-50-google-play-gift-card-for-45-00?src=store-bf
Someone on SD just posted that you can only redeem one code per Grubhub account -- dick move by Samsung/Grubhub

I have until Jan 31st to use them so I'll just create new GH accounts eventually and give some codes to family/friends if I cant use them all by mid-Jan
Can someone please rip the APK for both Wallet and the new update for "Payment Service?"
This app makes it very easy to do so.

Hey guys! This is what I did to get Samsung Pay working on my S10+. Just install this APK on your phone, then try to activate Samsung Pay from the watch after it is has been installed and opened on the phone.
I don't think Amazon supports Visa checkout.
BTW if you're looking for rewards at amazon their 5% cash back credit card cannot be beat.
Oh I found the spay promo for visa checkout, I signed up and used it at kohls - got the 2500 points instantly.

You need to have the 7.0 version of the Samsung Internet app. If you don't have it yet, you can download the apk (here)[https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/samsung-electronics-co-ltd/samsung-internet-for-android/samsung-internet-for-android-7-0-00-21-release/samsung-internet-browser-7-0-00-21-android-apk-download/]
Also, if you add a new* card to Samsung Pay using the Samsung Internet app you can gain an additional 1000 points, even if it's a card that doesn't work.
I just switched phones. I don't see hotels.com gift cards in Samsung Pay on the new phone. Thankfully, I haven't sold or wiped out the old phone yet where they do show up and I'm able to retrieve card numbers and pins. Thanks for the tip!
Can you check the version number please? Also, do you know how to extract APK? You can use ML Manager
I've tried to update for almost an hour & just keeps failing!
